Very good breakfast, a lot of options however for me as a person who doesn’t eat meat there were no options of salmon or seafood, no any kind of fish There is no any bottle of water in the room! Even in the fridge for extra payment- there is NO WATER! No shuttles to anywhere.

O hotel é fantastico, extremamente bem cuidado, limpo e bonito. Um dos melhores serviços que já presenciei. De ter que voltar para casa e ir trabalhar. Não dá vontade de sair do hotel.

- HPark8 (7/5): - Very comfortable bed, quiet rooms, convenient location near the old town. Breakfast buffet featured a large international selection of well-prepared foods. I also liked the provision of a water filter in the room to reduce plastic use. The check-in queue was absolutely enormous at 3pm, and even though I had already checked in online, staff informed me I still had to queue. In which case what is the point of making you check in online? We ended up going sightseeing for an hour and came back later to check in as we didn't want to waste time queueing. When we eventually checked in, the staff member at reception wasn't particularly welcoming and treated us like we were an inconvenience. The exterior of the hotel is quite dated and needs refreshing. No shuttle bus provision which was surprising for such a big hotel. Breakfast environment very chaotic and seemed a bit disorganised.

- T8587VUmartinw (10/5): unfortable stay at the MJ mansion @sofitel ponte 16 - after 4 nights at the cotai strip i changed to taipa area for an unforgetable stay at the sofitel macau ponte 16. my reason to have a stay here was the incredible MJ mansion. when i arrived mr.sandy the concierge was really helpful and gentile. after check inn he accompannied me to the MJ mansion. i was really surprised about the size, looked bigger than on the webside. the bathroom with jazuzzi and massive rainshower ,,yes in enjoyed to have a bath there. there is also a karoke tv room in the mansion..the living room is gorgeous with sofas and two tables .. the bedroom a masterpiece , felt like the king of pop. if u book one of the mansions.. there is a big pool on the floor extra only for manions guests. der club millesieme was closed..that was a bit dissapoining for me because i didnt get any news about the closure before i arrived. so i had my dinner and brekfast at the mistral restaurnat on floor 6. hopefully they will reopen the club millesieme again. the sofitel is a short walk away from old quarter macau and the other casinos, but offers a great view to mainland china. a very special tahnks to sandy the concierge who was very helpful and the reception stuff. my flight to the next destination was at 10p.m , so when i went down at 12 for check out...the reception gave me the option to stay til i have to leave at 7.pm.. that was so great so i went up again to enjoy the mansion pool and enjoyed again the massive MJ mansion. i left the sofitel very happy. yes i will be back in macau in october and i m thinkin to have another stay in one of the other mansions ...the japanese designed mansion. see you again later this year and thanks for the special time i had .

Great food at the buffet restaurant with excellent choice and very tasty food at all meal times. Also very healthy food available with lots of fresh fruit. location was good to reach all destinations and not far from border crossings for road and rail travel. Excellent and full gym also at this hotel with good ventilation. First room did not have good sound proofing, however, I was immediately given another room, which solved the problem.

Highly recommend the executive floor as it comes with some perks like complementary tea time and happy hour (that includes (pre-) dinner food and beverages). Breakfast was incredible! Staff was welcoming and attentive. The executive floor lounge is undergoing renovations, but a separate area in the restaurant was reserved for us. Our hostess Luisa made sure we were having an excellent experience throughout.

- jaintarang11 (10/5): Excellent Location & Friendly Service - Excellent Location & Friendly Service The breakfast spread was genuinely impressive, a wide variety of both Western and Asian options, fresh items and good quality. The staff were very courteous and professional throughout my stay. What stood out was the warm and attentive service which made the experience feel more personal. Location is one of the strongest points of this hotel. Senado Square is only about 500 meters away, an easy 7–8 mins walk. The hotel is surrounded by numerous local eateries, cafes and shops, so you are never far from good food or convenience. The bus stop is right outside the hotel, making it very easy to get around Macau. Thanks to my Accor Platinum status, I was upgraded to a higher category river facing room. The view was lovely, especially in the evening, and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. Overall had a very pleasant experience.

The mansion is enormous, with outstanding facilities including a sauna, jacuzzi, and even a karaoke room. Everything feels grand and imposing. I genuinely felt like a VIP throughout my stay. The location is central and very convenient. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets are of high quality, and having dinner and afternoon tea included in the price is a significant advantage. The staff are friendly and approachable, especially Sam from the concierge department, who stood out for being particularly helpful. The hotel advertises a free airport transfer upon request, but when I contacted the hotel, I was informed that this service was no longer available. The listing also states that check out is available until 16:00, but this was only honoured after I had to complain, which should not be necessary. A more serious concern is the polished stone floor in the shower, extremely slippery and poses a real risk of falls. Overall, while the concept deserves a 10/10, these inconsistencies and the safety concern should not be overlooked.

- Susan (10/5): Lovely hotel that is centrally located. - The hotel feels luxurious - and is centrally located. We had a room that overlooked the main road so we could see the casinos and lights of the city! Made it feel very posh! The rooms are clean and decorated in soft beiges, and creams - plus the beds are comfortable. We would stay here again.

The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great decor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options. Most importantly, the staff Mary, Michelle and Luisa were attentive and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable—nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect for sightseeing, within walking distance of all popular landmarks. Other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back!"

The hotel is elegant, rooms are very comfortable, and in a great location, perfect for exploring Macau while still enjoying a relaxing atmosphere. Close, walking distance to shops, tourist photo spots & casino etc.. 1) design of toilet space is too squashy. 2) use of hot water making machine is impractical, take too many steps just to boil water. Just a simple kettle is perfect.

- kit (8/5): This is the place to stay in Macau if you are not into casinos . I will be back . Simple. - Luxury at an excellent price. Close to the old town . Good facilities , nice food , good breakfast. The price of in house laundry was too much comparative to other places .
