- Alla (2/5): - I don't even know where to start describing how awful this place is. 5 stars it is not, we felt totally scammed, I've stayed in 3 star hotels WAY better than this hell hole. We arrived at 1:30pm (check-in is at 2), the room was not ready. I can sort of understand that but other hotels, especially those claiming to be 5 stars, already have a room available 30 min before the check in. The girl on reception immediately tried to upsell us a more expensive room, then disappeared before checking us in, and we stood by the reception counter for over half an hour, with no-one updating us or showing any interest in us. We had to ask someone else eventually about checking us in, and even though at that point it was well after 2pm, the was some confusion about our room. After we were finally given a room, it was not the room type we booked - we booked a room with a king bed and a double-bed sofa, and we got a room with just two double beds for 3 people. When I called reception and complained, it took them another half an hour to have someone call us back. Then a single bed was delivered to our room (without confirming with us if that arrangement was ok by us), which took all the free space left in the room. The staff person bringing the bed had attitude of being greatly inconvenienced by this demand. The AC did not work in the room, and it took them over 24 hrs to send someone to look at it. Even after supposedly 'fixing' the AC, it didn't work properly, but it was just enough to cou

The staff at the pool are great too! Location great. Only small downside is the lifts are a bit slow only 3 for 25 floors so can take a while for one to arrive / be empty.

- Andréa (8/5): - Our room was well cleaned every day thanks to Zeeshan. The pool area was nice and the lifeguards were nice. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Nice walking paths and close to tram and metro. The only minus was that there are people who park sunbeds with their towels and then disappear for a few hours, that doesn't make it fair for those who actually want to swim and sunbathe by the pool area. The lifeguards should remove those towels and give the beds to others who plan to stay there. Another thing was that we could hear the traffic very well, but nothing you can do about it when you live so centrally.

- Catherine (10/5): - Fantastic location for Jumeireh Beach - the area around the hotel is great and the walk over to Bluewaters Island is very near. Traffic is busy but that’s because it’s central but taxis are very reasonable. Some people say the hotel is noisy but we found the rooms to be very quiet with excellent housekeeping. The pool was also much bigger than some reviews suggest and the hotel kept the water cool somehow which was a great relief in temps of 40+ degrees
- HAWABIBI (10/5): - I have stayed at many five star hotels. And this hotel met all my expectations. I came on holiday with my sisters we booked two sea view rooms for five nights. We will give this hotel a 10 out of 10. From check in to check out, the service from all the staff at the hotel was excellent. They were polite, friendly and very professional. Our room was cleaned by Furkan everyday and was immaculate. The health and wellbeing centre and the swimming pool was clean and in excellent condition. We also booked a massage at the hotel. We booked the breakfast for our stay and the variety of the intercontinental breakfast was excellent. The sea view room, along with the location of the hotel was great. Everything was either a walking distance or a short taxi if required. I will strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to visit Dubai.

- Atul (10/5): - The customer service from every single staff member was 100%. From the second we got out the taxi which was after 1:30 am. Efficient check in Process then heading to a comfortable room. Have to mention Sultana who really helpful when planning days out and giving us great deals. The concierge service was really helpful as well. In the mornings the lifts were busy for breakfast but the staff member(sorry I can’t remember her name),was doing a great job helping and controlling the lifts. The breakfast choices were incredible from a traditional options to Indian breakfast. Next time I book a holiday in Dubai this is my hotel choice.

Upon arrival check in was nice and smooth however when we went to our room there was so much noise of construction happening which was on going work in the hotel. I knew this would be a problem so I requested for a room change or I was thinking to leave the hotel. The manager George, such a lovely gentleman changed my room to a higher floor (24) with an even better view and there was no construction noise thank God. However there was a ridiculous amount of noise from the clubs and road downstairs despite the floor being the highest. The hotel is not soundproof as it states on their own website as well as third party sites. Facilities were good at the hotel, breakfast buffet was good and once we had dinner which was also nice but not much variety to choose from which was a disappointment. Yet again, on the first day the aircon was working perfectly but after this it was so hot in the room and despite complaining and asking for a fan several times nothing was done. Yes someone came to check but they kept saying it’s cooling it’s fine, you left balcony door open then that’s why even though we did not leave the door open as the temp was so hot! Some of the night staff were so rude it was not acceptable. one occasion without my knowledge the housekeeping staff entered the room after midnight and turned on all the lights despite we being asleep and not dressed appropriately I was fuming! Felt like I have wasted my money here :(

I just checked out and got a link for the review and I wanted to make sure I write one on the way to the airport. It's a great hotel in the jbr area. The location was fantastic with so much to do around the area. Rooms are clean, nicely laid out. Staff was courteous and went out of the way to make sure we were taken care of. They even gave me extra time to checkout. Ordered room service a couple of times. Food was excellent. Wife and I decided we're only staying here next time we're here. Thanks Amwaj Rotana!

- natasha (10/5): - Our room was clean and spacious and the breakfast buffet was always fresh with plenty of choices. The hotel is broadly located just walking distance from all the main attractions and restaurants of JBR. Our cleaner / housekeeper Akash was very friendly and helpful when we asked for more water to be provided. All of the staff were very courteous and polite. My friend had lost her sunglasses and when we reported it to guest services and the reception team they were most helpful in helping us to review the CCTV footage and try to locate them again which was really appreciated. One thing I would say was that there is an issue with waiting times for the lifts (elevators) and sometimes we waited for close to ten minutes before the lift would come which could be quite frustrating. Overall we had a wonderful 7 night stay at the Amwaj and would return in future.

Whilst I read very good reviews before booking this hotel. My experience was far from satisfactory. Unfortunately the long delays every morning at the lift really did frustrate and upset many guests.

Day of arrival, unfortunately room took a hour longer than check in time than expected, was offered complementary lunch whilst I wait due to the delay. Luggage was bought to the room and I misplaced my lock key- hotel staff kindly helped by breaking the lock off for me! Rooms were always cleaned thoroughly and sheets changed upon request. When I called from the room for anything, wait time was minimal! They were always as quick as they could be. Breakfast buffet, selection of food! Loved it my favourite part of the morning! Pool staff extremely helpful and always asking if you needed anything. Spa staff, can’t fault the massages and reasonably priced (previously stayed at another hotel due to this hotel being booked up - I still came to this hotel to book my massage, that’s how good it was and the service). Hotel valet - always very polite, unintentionally kept leaving the panroof and windows open but they would always kindly close when parking the car, minimal wait time went requesting for my car. One occasion during my stay my car wouldn’t start outside the hotel - the staff were great with helping the mechanics push the car round the back parking area. The door men, day/ night security always very friendly, welcoming and chatty! Overall another brilliant stay! & Definatly will be back!

House keeping was good for the first night then service declined.

I’d definitely recommend Amwaj Rotana at Jummariah beach to anyone looking for a classy stay. Hotel prices were very reasonable and within our budget.

Bed was huge with comfortsble mattress. Housekeeping do a top job here and lastly must say a huge tha k you to Promise the security guard who always welcomes you in and out but also checks to see if there is anything we need. Totally 5 star and will return back to this hotel. Price was better than all other 5 star hotels. Pictures of this hotel do not do it justice - you have to see it and appreciate it when there.

The club lounge rooms fall short in terms of amenities, offering no vegan food options and a very limited selection of drinks during happy hours. Additionally, they don’t provide basic accompaniments like crisps or nuts with drinks during this time.
- John (8/5): Excellent but uncomfortable - Location and the customer service was absolutely fantastic however the pool is dated and constantly in the shade and this makes it redundant to use. The bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. We like a firm bed normally but this bed left us tossing and turning through the night and waking up with aches and pains every day. Not helped by the fact that we were woken every night to the screeching of chairs being dragged across the tiled floor by the rooms above us. The hotel should put rugs or carpet underneath these as it really was so terrible and constant. We cannot be the first to comment on this. By the end of our trip my partner was nearly in tears with tiredness which did taint our last few days of the holiday. If the bed was comfortable and the chair noises were resolved we would stay again as we said, the customer service and location was brilliant.

- Abdul Kuddas (10/5): - Excellent first stay at Amwaj Rotana highly recommend as the service was brilliant all round. However on the last two days the receptionist/front desk staff member WEIM was absolutely awful. I witnessed her on two separate occasions being rude to elderly guests - pulling faces, moaning and all round being a disgruntled employee. When my husband asked her if everything is ok as she was very grumpy she made a remark saying she didn’t ‘want to be here’ and would rather go home. It wasn’t pleasant to witness and really bought down the overall experience of the hotel.

- Shamael (10/5): - The hotel lives to its 5 star rating and is even better than some of the 5 star hotels in the area for what you get in the price you pay. The only thing that it requires is more elevators because the wait is a couple minutes. Also, the phone to reception or in-room dining was at times not working for my room. The welcoming you receive at the entrance is truly warming. Notable mention is Ahmed at the valet. He is exceptional.

The frıends workıng at the reception were very helpful,thank you all very much, l stayed ın two dıffrent hotels ın Dubai,this is the best ın everything. I recommend ıt to everyone.

- Marco (6/5): - Lifts are a big issue here, as peak times you could be waiting 20 mins for a lift. Not ideal (especially with young kids and on the 24th floor). Don’t book all inclusive the menu is extremely limited, better off pay as you go. Good location, right on the beach. Food good, though limited restaurant choice. Quite short staffed in key areas (pool bar especially).
- Baharak (10/5): - It was my first experience staying in Rotana hotel this amwaj rotana was nice and convenient hotel by great management the staff was great mr mubarak and mr bassal front desk was so helpful and habib was wonderful so nice and helped us for taking taxi for going to airport and ij general I highly recommend this hotel for vacation in Dubai

- Nicola Ellen (10/5): - A very enjoyable stay for a long weekend. The hotel was very nice, especially considering the great price. I did the dine around package which was really good value with loads of options. The staff were all excellent, both in the bars, restaurants and also in the spa. Soji and mohuiddin at the beach bar were especially very attentive and Moh Moh served me at Rosso and benihanna and was great. The gym was good and the spa was great. I had two massages by different members of staff and both were great. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. You can’t beat the location either, an extremely short walk to the beach and shops! Hope to return again soon and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
- Ahmed (8/5): Nice but beware of the lifts - Property is good service is good but the lifts are an absolute nightmare I stayed 3 nights and needed to extend another night but decided to stay elsewhere rather than stay due to the lifts Here was two occasions where I was waiting for a lift for 10mins One time a worker took me to a service lift as she saw me standing on my level three times while she worked the floor and felt bad for me waiting there
- Janet (10/5): - This was our first time visiting Dubai, our journey from Canada took 24 hours but it was worth every minute of travelling time. The Amwaj Rotana hotel is exceptional. All the staff are so welcoming, helpful and friendly, the property is beautiful and we will definitely stay at this hotel when we return to Dubai.
- Lars (6/5): Holiday - The stay was ok... the hotel is used as because looks like an old hotel. Elevator is extremely slow.. I general hotel have good position, restaurant need better cook, food not super good as a 5 star. Breakfast is fine
