Guest Reviews
- Willian (9/5): Muito bom.

- Deborah (10/5): Great location! Great host!! Great stay! - Location was great, close to Universal Resort, you could walk but it would be too much in the heat. Close to major road links making it an easy to drive to all parks and attractions. The location is close to everything but is still quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful relax away from the hustle and bustle. The host was/is brilliant and the communication was great. Ranaldo is a very attentive host and always responds to any query we may have. Excellent value. This is our second stay with Ronaldo and we have already booked our third. This time we are introducing family to the apartments. I really can't think of anything I didn't like. I would say the parking can get very busy but we were never unable to find a parking spot.
- Fábio Jean Goulart (10/5): Perfect - I had a great stay at this apartment in Orlando. The location is excellent, very close to the International Outlet and just a short drive from many attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. Everything you might need during your stay is nearby, which makes it very convenient.
The apartment itself was comfortable, clean, and well organized. It had everything needed for a pleasant stay and felt very welcoming.
I would also like to highlight the reception service, which was always very helpful and friendly. A special thanks to Ronaldo, who was extremely attentive and always responded very quickly whenever we had a question or needed assistance. His support made the experience even better.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Orlando.
- KATTY (10/5): Volvería al mismo lugar - Muy cómodo, limpio, tiene todo lo que necesitas Nada
- Ginette (10/5): - La ubicación es excelente 👌
- JONATHAN (4/5): Really disappointed ☹️ as we have stayed here four times in the last 18 months - Location and staff were excellent Room 705H is not luxury as advertised. It needs properly cleaned and could do with being redecorated. As it wasn’t part of the Pointe Hotel the room wasn’t serviced during our two week stay!!!!!!!! NO clean towels,no clean sheets!!!!!!!! and we had to purchase our own toilet paper!!!!!!!!!
- Deborah (9/5): Good value, great location, attentive host. - The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. The cost was great value for the accommodation. Communication was excellent. The location was amazing, walking distance to I-Drive, TJ Maxx, Burlingtons, lots of restaurants and (although a long walk) Premium outlet mall. There is a bar by the pool which had reasonably priced food and drink, which we used on a couple of occasions. We could watch Disney fireworks the balcony. Everything was in working order. Absolutely no issues at all. We are returning soon to one of the hosts other apartments as this one isn't available for our next stay, but we are sure it will be just as good. The little amount of contact we had with staff at the hotel was good. TIP- you can walk to Universal orlando but if you walk to Dockside or Surfside you can get on the resort bus and head to any of the parks from there.
- Lucas (10/5): -
- Natasha (10/5): - Room was clean, plenty of room, easy access and friendly staff.
- Miriam (10/5): - Excellent and very nice communication.
- Katie (10/5): - Perfect location to nearby theme parks. The room was clean and staff were so helpful. Will definitely stay again!
- sandra (8/5): - Stayed here 14 years ago!! Good to be back very quiet pool was great walkable to universal no concerns would highly recommend 👍
- Yanet (10/5): - shopping near by. Neighborhood very nice
- Victoria (10/5): - Very nice room and staff
- Alexis (10/5): - Room looked just like the photos online. Very comfortable and clean.
- Edson (10/5): - It was great
- Steven (4/5): Not a great place to stay - AC vent rattled, ask to fix, never came. Hidden resort fees, not a resort. Outside doors were damaged or locked. Parking has no lighting.
Room was clean enough but far from perfect. Room is quite dated.
Will not stay again.
- Dinna (8/5): - Check in was a little strange, we arrived at 330 and asked if we could check in early they checked and said yes. They checked us in but when we got to the room someone was painting it. So it wasn't ready. We had to go back to request another room. They wanted us to keep the room with wet paint and we refused. I even offered to downgrade my room to a smaller room as to not have that room. They were able to give us a new room and everything worked out but they should probably have better communication on room availability.
- Maritza (10/5): - This hotel resort match my expectations. The location is a 10/10. Can't wait to go back:)
- Julio (10/5): Great choice - The room is perfect for a couple (but also good for 4 people). Everything is clean, and the kitchen has everything you might need.
- robert (4/5): ac - the ac didn't work finally changed rooms it didn't work either.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall the stay was great!
However, there was just a few things that need to be assessed regarding cleanliness and property condition.
There was quite a bit of hair left over in the shower from a previous guest. I can understand how it could be missed as it blended in with the tile.
There was mold/mildew growing in the shower grout as well.
Also, I foresee additional parking spots being needed in the future. Guests were parked in the grass on our check out day.
Just some things that sometimes get overlooked when cleaning! Other than that, we’d stay there again.
- preston (6/5): was very disappointed - Request a room facing pool, was told that they did not have one.but did have many.
- Jessica (4/5): - We enjoyed the room and area. It’s a very short drive from Universal studios. We warn others staying here that the parking is not guaranteed. We were left stranded at 2am after returning from the theme park with no parking anywhere. The attendant suggested us parking illegally and offered no help or assistance. We were not the only ones as others were circling the parking lot. I mentioned to the front desk staff that many of the cars in the lot did not have the parking pass and I was promptly ignored. Turns out the hotels parking is listed on maps as public parking so just a warning! Our room was also never cleaned for the duration of the 3 day stay which wouldn’t be a problem if the fees charged didn’t specify room cleaning. Nice open room but would not return
- Gildas (10/5): - This property offers an exceptional experience for both long and short stays. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable. In the future, I will definitely be choosing this property for eco-friendly, budget-friendly, or high-end accommodations in the area.
- Gildas (10/5): - This hotel in the Orlando/Universal area is incredibly awesome. I have not met a single staff member who wasn’t exceptional at this property, and I truly appreciate that. The only downside is that we have to request room cleaning, but overall, it’s an A-1 property in my book, which is why I extended my stay.
- Kathleen (8/5): - Loved the amenities, kind staff and proximity to where I needed to go during my stay. What I didn’t like was the slow drain of the kitchen sink and the toilet was almost like it wanted to get choked on flushing.
- Tiffany (10/5): - Very pretty and clean! Spacious rooms with working ac! Also nice pool. Downside have to pay for breakfast when other places have it free
- AZER-ANTHONY (6/5): Close to Universal - Great to see security guard in the evenings and the hotel is making sure there are no wild or loud parties taking place on the property. Beds were comfortable and had good amenities such as in unit washer dryer, full kitchen. No restaurant on site which is ok since this is Orlando- restaurants everywhere. Overall good stay.
- Lilian (10/5): - Second time staying here and I love how everything is so close.
- Matthew (8/5): - Good location, handy to all things…parks, shopping, dining the works. Super quite great to turn in after massive days out. Worth the stay
- Luana (10/5): - A liberdade de estar como se fosse em casa, sem check-in ou check-out em recepção, apto confortável, localização excelente, área de lazer muito boa. Voltaremos com certeza! Não teve nada de desagradável
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Rooms are outdated but clean. Location was perfect.
- Anne Mae (8/5): - I like the room it’s comfortable.
- Alecia (8/5): - Some things in the room show visible wear and tear but beds were very comfortable and clean
- Heather (8/5): - I liked the location and the area. I didn't like that there was no complementary breakfast and no maid service included with the stay.
- Susan (10/5): - Staff was accommodating. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.
- Enrique (10/5): - Don't get to have breakfast as will have to leave at 3am. Though it would be most apprecciated if coffee was available throughout the night and early hours in the morning.
Thank you.
Bed very comforting. The room overlooking the swimming pool is a 10+. We are definitely coming back.
- erika (6/5): It was ok - I have stayed here several times before in the past but definitely noticed the difference in service. If you staying long you will have to pay for room service if u want your room cleaned.
- Mayra (10/5): - Enjoyed my time here!
- Christopher (10/5): - The lobby was gorgeous. Everything was very clean and the air smelled great. I would definitely stay here again for no reason just to be in such a nice room for a fair pricing.
- Tiffany (6/5): It’s OK, it depends on your preferences. - I wasn’t really a fan of this place. I don’t know if it’s the lighting if it’s the dated furniture/curtains. But I questioned the cleanliness. And whatever they clean with mess with my sinuses for a day. The pool area was lovely, not crowded at all the service at the Tiki bar was great. But I personally wouldn’t stay here that’s not my type of place.
- Rochelle (10/5): - Great
- Jerry (10/5): Exceeded all my expectations - This property exceeded my expectations. Nice pool area with a bar. Nice breakfast area with Starbucks coffee. (not free but worth it)
The room was huge! Will definitely stay here again.
- Isabella (10/5): - had a good stay
- Kiaraliz (10/5): - Excelente me encantó la habitación.
- Brandon (8/5): Great theme Park hotel. - Hotel is a bit dated. Older hotel I had a lot of construction around the streets not their fault. Our hotel room was extremely dated. TVs were extremely old but they did work. Did not have HDMI hookups for any entertainment such as Roku or fire stick or even video games. But we stayed there for two nights and we went to universal Orlando and it was perfectly fine for a stay for a theme park. But as a family vacation I would not recommend.
- Damon (10/5): - Best hotel I’ve stayed in. I travel a lot because my daughter plays travel volleyball. We will be staying here again next year
- lizete (10/5): - Excellent the staff very friendly
- Maria Carmen (10/5): - My family and I had a great experience staying at this hotel.
- Vivianne (10/5): - The hotel offers excellent storage space and a functional kitchenette. The pool area was a great spot to relax while waiting for the room, and the staff, especially Jailene, were incredibly welcoming. The hotel is also a short Uber ride to Universal, making it convenient for theme park visits. The only downside was the proximity of the rooms, which sometimes allowed for noise from neighboring rooms.
- Lawanda (10/5): - The property was nice
- Jacquelyn (6/5): - No vending machines
- Tiffany (10/5): - Nice place to stay
- Verified traveler (4/5): - We booked this hotel based on the location and reviews. The location was fine, but there was only one entry door, we thought that was strange. Check in was easy and the front desk lady was very nice. We received our keys and went to our room. Upon entry, we noticed the overall uncleanliness of the room. The walls and baseboards were dirty, especially in the bathroom. The sheets were very stiff and felt like sand paper.
- Jessica (10/5): Amazing hotel ! - They were super accommodating!!
- Kirk (10/5): - Great location, and price can't be beat.
- Carlos (10/5): - They make some improvements in the rooms . Need to upgrade the beds.
- Kristina (6/5): Caution - The place consistently smelled of marijuana so bad you could tell they were smoking in the room. our shower water was not warm. We had two rooms and both rooms the water was not hot at all more cold than anything…there were no towels at the pool. The room is in fair condition
- Rodrick (4/5): - I will start with the good: this hotel is close to universal and islands of adventure perfect for families who want to stay close to the parks but at staying at one of the universal hotels. Close to a lot of restaurants and stores to shop at.
Now the bad: we checked in around 9:30PM-10ish due to us spending time at the universal parks all day (recently stayed at Royal Pacific hotel for a night for the express passes) check in went fine, first look at the room it looked nice (one-bedroom suite) but once we was about to lay down in the bed after a long day at the parks we noticed the bed comforter had spots on it, so we took that off and then come to find pieces of hair on top of the sheets that were under the covers which is crazy to me. We called the front desk and asked them if they can bring us some new sheets because the sheets we had were dirty, front desk told us “he was the only one in the front and he couldn’t bring us the sheets and that we would have to come get the sheets” I’m like put up a sign saying that you will be back soon (which they have done before) and bring us some clean sheets and take these dirty sheets away. But whatever went to get the sheets and they were clean. I don’t know who was cleaning the sheets and comforter but they have to do better. Also how does the sink water have more pressure than the shower, it felt like I was taking a shower in a water fountain. If the hotel can fix those problems it would be sooooo much better.
- LISA (8/5): - Close to most things
- candace (6/5): - I enjoyed the whirlpool tub. The front desk people were nice & helpful.
The negatives are I had no hot water the morning I checked out. The AC was not working in the fitness center & the temps was 95 outside. This was very disappointing as I look forward to enjoying the gym any time I have a hotel stay.
The hotel definitely needs some updates. The gym equipment is old & rusted. The appliances in the kitchen are very old.
- cari (8/5): - The layout of my suite was comfy. Loved the view from my balcony. Just wished the hotel had more food options
- Karim (10/5): Comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable - The place was very nice and well equipped, with a good view from the balcony, at night we could see the fireworks. The neighborhood was safe and quiet, and the location was excellent very close to Universal Studios, shops, and restaurants. The staff were friendly, and free parking was a big plus. The host was very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our two week stay and would definitely stay here again
- Shantel (8/5): - The cleaning staff did not speak English and we didn’t get any housecleaning or new towels daily.
It was very loud with people having parties and kids running the halls all times of the night.
- Marianella (4/5): - Poor service, no empathy for guests, the room assigned to me was next to the pool, where there was a lot of noise. I asked to change rooms, and they only responded that the hotel was full. No attempt was made to resolve the problem. No restaurant nor coffe
- JOLENE (4/5): Very disappointed in this property - I don't even know if I have the energy to explain. The check in process was a disaster. Hotels.com said I paid a deposit yet no one could find a paid deposit. The hotel made a xerox copy of my ID in a back room - definitely sketchy. Anytime I needed anything from the front desk, people from a completely other hotel were manning the desk so couldn't help me. The outdoor food/bar area was not open the entire four days we were there. The front lobby absolutely stunk like a highway rest stop. There was a heavy cigarette smoke smell in the hallway of my room. It was a terrible stay overall and I'd never stay or recommend it again.
- Amy (10/5): Our New Favorite - Fantastic hotel. We visit the area frequently and have found our new go-to stay!!! Props to Tauran at the front desk. Super polite and so helpful!
- Darline (10/5): - Great place to stay.
- LaToya (6/5): - Expedia offered the filters that were incorrect. Smoking isnt permitted, which was a factor in where we decided to stay! Expedi definitely didn't mention the property was under construction. Nor that the poolside bar and restaurant is not open! Major disappointment!
- ENRIQUE (6/5): - At first seemed like newer hotel but furniture in room cheap outdated. Paint on bathroom door was dirty not well taken care of.
- Michael (6/5): -
No water to our room the last night. Water preasure the morning we left but lack of hot water.
- Dolsey (8/5): - There was a lot of construction
I wish they had a bench to sit on outside of the front door to wait for our rides
I also would have appreciated a small store in the lobby to purchase drinks we had to drive through all the construction to get a soda or a water
Other then that the rooms were comfy and had everything we expected we would need
- Jewel (10/5): - The only place i stay when visiting Orlando. Definitely recommend if traveling with a family. Convenient in suite amenities like jacuzzi tub, and full kitchdn
- Syreeta (6/5): - I would give the stay an overall 6.
The room was nice. It felt like a mini apartment. We had a king room with a balcony. The room was a nice size with a door that closed it off from the living and bathroom area. The bathroom was nice and spacious. It had a small kitchenette with stove, frig, microwave, washer/dryer, and dishes/glasses. We were allowed to check in early with no additional fee.
Now, what we didn’t like was there were no food options. The restaurant that was advertised was closed down. They did not offer breakfast of any kind
The tiki bar at the pool was closed down. They said they were waiting on someone to get licensing. The pool needed cleaning. They said they cleaned it but we’re thinking the just did it with a net. It needs deep cleaning like draining and cleaned because it was dirty on the bottom. The hit tub had a greenish tint to it. It needs cleaning as well. They offer a pool table but you have to have quarters to use it. The room key was only to open your room door not the exterior doors. So we had to walk to the front to get in the building when we parked on the side.
There is construction going on around it and in the area, be prepared to take an alternate route.
At checkout, we were credited back the resort fee for the inconveniences. We would stay again but not now. They need to get the fore mentioned fixed and taken care of first.
- Vicky (7/5): Ok for the price - The location was ok, but you really need a car to get around - not much within walking distance
- Olivia (8/5): Short staff hotel but we understand - Hotel seems to be short staff and there is construction going around the hotel. We needed toilet paper. We was told there was only one person working and you have to come down to the front desk and get it. We needed a dollie for suit case and was told the same thing on the day of leaving. Also, if you had any hotel trash you had to the designated areas to throw your trash away. No room service. Also, there is a poolside bar but it was closed for our whole stay. However, the rooms are nice and they have a full size kitchen. Also upon coming back from a park all day the water was turned off. But it did come on about 30 minutes after we were there. I wish they would have text or email a heads up.
- Austin (6/5): - Stayed at this property several times before where we had no issues at all . It seems like the soul has gone out of the place and the room was just plain grubby . Come on guys sort it out .
- Andres (8/5): - Comfortable, great size room for 2 people, safe area, everything near by
- Darla (6/5): Misrepresentation - On your website there was a restaurant and a bar as well as room service at this establishment. When I spoke to the manager about the lack of those amenities I was told that they have tried to get hotels.com to change their information. I don't know nor do I care where the fault lies. I just know that I paid way too much for a subpar vacation
- Shannon (10/5): Great view - For the price point the view and the room were amazing
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Taryn (8/5): Very clean - Suite was very clean. Parking convenient. Wish there was not an extra charge for daily maid and fresh linens. Otherwise, very comfortable.
- Nyaim (8/5): - Spacious rooms, nice front desk staff
- Aimee (10/5): Clean & Beautiful Property - We had a wonderful stay. Our balcony looked out over the pool. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows (plenty of them too). Location was perfect.
- emilie Ann (10/5): - Amazing customer service front desk people actually do their jobs and help you with your booking if theirs any issues, they will be patient with you, tiki bar and restaurant were closed due to renovations so just be aware of that, the suites are like apartments so come prepared to do your own cleaning which isn’t bad since you have all appliances in your suite additional charge for room service if wanted which isn’t bad at all, they do give your refund back I don’t know why people saying other wise but yeah I got mine back for sure, pool is clean and spa area as well, enjoyed my stay will be coming again, thank you
- Steven (2/5): - I have stayed at the Point several times in the past and noticed the last time I was there, the property was not as well staffed or as clean in the past. This trip was horrible. The entire area around the property is under construction with the main road to the property closed off. It took an additional 30 minutes to get to the property due additional traffic from the road closure. The restaurants were closed inside the hotel and the pool bar as well. I had to switch rooms 3 times due to the fact that there was no hot water in the first two rooms for showering. I started on the 6th floor (higher floor requested) and was put on the first floor (only room with hot water). The water pressure sucked on top of the issues with hot water. The pool was filthy from all the construction. And the property still charged a resort fee. Will never stay there again.
- Kishma (8/5): - The only concer is access to necessities lime vending machine for drinks amd snacks
- David (10/5): - Was great stay
- SHARRON (8/5): - Spacious suites with balconies. Difficult to find accommodations that nice with balcony
- Verified traveler (4/5): Wouldn’t come back. - The hotel room was dirty - hair everywhere, the lamps were slanted (looks like someone did a quick wipe down and didn’t even have the time to straighten them), the doors were filthy. We truly felt gross staying there.
- Howard (6/5): - We have stayed here in year's past. Always a pleasure. Great breakfasts.
This year, no food, no vending machines. Will not go back unless they get the breakfasts back and vending machines.
- Kristin (6/5): - The beds were comfortable and staff was great. Unfortunately the shower barely turned on and the hot tub was cold.
- Ed (8/5): - Friendly staff. Clean. Near a few restaurants and Pirates Dinner Adventure and other shows. Could use a few supplies such as paper towels at the sink area, dish towel for drying dishes, complementary bottles of water for coffee machine. Free weights in the fitness center. Thanks.
- Lisa (4/5): - Be aware that the property does not have any food served anywhere on the property. I blame Expedia for advertising a pool bar with light food and drinks. The pool bar is not operational. Also Expedia advertised breakfast for 2 each morning of our stay. The Point does not serve any food. The mattress was very old and bumpy. The room was okay, not the cleanest I have stayed in. Be aware also that there is street construction all around the hotel and is very noisy. I stayed here 3 years ago and the condition of the property was very nice back then, has gone down hill since.
- Steve (4/5): WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!! - I stay in hotels for biz about 50 nights a year. This is by fore one of the worst! I could not even by a bottled water! No vending! Staff was nice, but limited and over worked!!!! I booked because every pic I say had a balcony. Mine did not have one. No food, no soda, no free basic breakfast (Not even coffee or cereal with milk!), took 25 minutes to get a cart as they only had two! I was also told that they could not call up the the guests that had taken a cart 30 minutes ago to pack their room
and ask them to please bring a cart down soon. UGH! after that, it took 20 minutes to get the one of only two elevators were working and the second one was having "issues"! I was late for a biz meeting that could have cost me my job!!!!!! There was minimal hot water my last day with a tap at a 25% flow. I could go on, but most of it would just be complaining even more!!!!! I no longer trust Hotels.c reviews sine they went to the Darkside!!!!
- Joyce (10/5): Nice place to stay - Very nice wish I could have got a balcony overlooking the pool not the parking lot.
