• copilot12 (6/5): John was great, but hotel needs a major renovation. - One night stay to attend the International builders show at the convention center. Check in with John was very swift and pleasant. Everything we asked for, quiet room and a late checkout, was cheerfully accommodated. With that said, even close to an elevator, our room was quiet. Bed and bedding were adequate, but the roll down blind failed to work. This meant we had a light from the parking lot glaring in our room all night. Maintenance, at that hour was non existent. We were so tired from the show, we fell right to sleep. In the morning we noticed how old the shower and bathroom tub were. Water pressure was weak. Personally, we hate soap and shampoos in those in wall dispensers. Wish hotels would get back to regular soap and shampoo bottles. Breakfast was good, hot and adequate. The gym was small with only a few pieces of equipment. In closing, at $200 per night, we expected an updated hotel. Time for a refresh!

• Milagros (8/5): Good Experience Overall, Though Dining Options Are Limited - I had a great stay at this hotel. The breakfast offered plenty of options, which made starting the day really easy and enjoyable. My room was spacious and comfortable, giving me everything I needed to relax. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful throughout my stay, which I really appreciated. One of the best parts was how simple it was to arrange the shuttle service. Calling for the shuttle and booking a ride to the airport was quick and convenient. It’s a great service the hotel provides, and it made my travel experience much smoother. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant. If you want something to eat later in the day, you’ll need to walk to a nearby restaurant, like the one at the Cambria Hotel,or stop by a convenience store close by. It’s not a major issue, but it’s worth noting for anyone who prefers having dining options on-site.

• ccarlson2022 (10/5): Nice Stay - Stayed in NYE as we were in town for the Citrus Bowl. Very convenient location to get to from the airport. Checked in after the game around 8pm. Front desk staff were great. Clean room and was a quiet stay as well. Was expecting some noise being NYE but didn’t hear anything. Breakfast was good with the total HIE offerings; eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fruits, pancakes, cereals, juices, coffee, tea. The best was the POG juice! We would stay here again in the future.

• mikewtravel (4/5): Get to Breakfast Early - We stayed here when we arrived a day early for our Disney trip. The room was good but the next morning we went down for breakfast and got there about 15-20 min before breakfast closed and most of the food was gone. Eggs, sausages, potatoes, pancake mix, was all gone and they did not replace any of it. We, and a handful of others, asked the lady working in kitchen and she seemed annoyed and said they aren't refilling things as it was almost time to close. Then a few minutes before the ending time she closed the doors to get to the food area.

There is water in the room if you are a reward member? Room was clean, bathroom tub shower needs work. Pull tab to shower whistles.

I asked for it to be fixed , that wasn't possible so they put me in another room saying that the safety locker was working there. After I moved I discovered that it was not working. Too far from Disney, but overall a good stay for women travelling alone, minor inconvenience not with standing.

Coffee ( freshly ground and brewed for each cup) was available 24 hours a day. Excellent quality. Even decaf! Pool was warm, clean. Loved sitting at the tables around the pool area. Refrigerator and microwave in room! Food selection in small store near reception to microwave/heat in your room. quiet, comfortable bed. Quick and efficient shuttle to/from the airport. Nothing.

• Philip (6/5): - We like to use HI Express, but this one looked a bit 'tired'. Shower head could only deliver narrow, hard stream of water or weak mist. Placement of TV on wall was odd -- near bed but far from couch. And we could not find a program guide on the TV and had to simply search blindly. That said, staff was helpful and shuttle bus to airport was efficient and friendly. Breakfast OK but not as good as at some other locations.
• Diane (10/5): - Clean, restaurant nearby, near the airport, let us hold luggage there after checkout 3 days before and after returning from our cruise and waiting for our flight so we could go do something while waiting.
• 418tonyl (8/5): Easy access to Universal Parks - Checkin was friendly and efficient. There is a deposit of $25/night for my suite and a car parking charge of $16 a day. The lift was slow. Quicker to walk if you are on floor 3 or lower. My room had everything I needed with a large flat screen tv, refrigerator/small freezer, keurig coffee machine, and microwave. All worked well, although the freezer is too small to fit an ice cream tub. The bathroom had a selection of Dove toiletries and moisturiser. The buffet breakfast is served weekdays, 6.30-9.30 and weekends 7.00-10.00. Bacon is not served every day, but there was a wide selection of hot and cold options including gluten free muffins. I found the Costa coffee way better than the coffee provided in my room. The Shuttle Bus often arrived later than the 9am time shown at reception and goes to all the Universal Parks except Volcano Bay. There is a free shuttle to Volcano Bay from the Spidermsn multistorey park ground level at the Universal Studios drop-off, which is a 3 minute walk. There were allot off rain showers in late September - October during my stay. I would recommend bringing waterproofs. The hotel is set back from the main road where you will find bus links to downtown and lots of places to eat and souvenir shops. The nearest large supermarket Walmart is too far to walk (40 min).

• Crystal (8/5): - The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable. We were contacted by the hotel the day before arrival with instructions for the shuttle when we arrived at the airport. We followed the instructions and the shuttle never arrived. After waiting over an hour, we decided to take an uber. Check in was a breeze. James at the front desk was friendly and got us checked in quickly and apologized for the issue with the shuttle and made the situation right. The shuttle to the airport the next morning was a much better experience than the night before. My only suggestion for you if you stay at this hotel, would be to not rely on the shuttle from MCO airport to the hotel during evening hours. Call an uber, you'll get there much faster. All in all, a good stay, good breakfast, and friendly staff.
