- markeP9961GZ (2/5): Believe it or not the stained sheets are last on the list. - ZERO STARS - Safety Hazard and Total Disrespect for Guests If you value your time, safety, or basic human decency, do not book a room here. * Check-in Disaster: Official check-in was 3:00 PM. Our room wasn’t ready until after 4:30 PM. * The "Hallway Experience": We were forced to wait in a cramped hallway, literally sitting on the floor next to piles of dirty laundry while housekeeping worked around us. * Physical Hazard & Disrespect: It got worse. A housekeeper aggressively shoved her way past us to cram her cart items into the elevator. In the process, she knocked over a pile of mops and broom handles, which fell directly onto me. No apology, no care. * Broken Infrastructure: The hotel is operating on only one semi-working elevator, which staff monopolize with laundry piles while guests are trapped waiting. * Insulting Compensation: Management's grand gesture for a 1.5-hour delay, making us sit in laundry, and getting hit by cleaning equipment? A voucher for 4 free Cokes at the hotel convenience store. Keep the sodas; fix your toxic operation.

- enricotT5058TT (10/5): The hotel to pick in NYC - The location of the Hotel is simply impeccable, walking distance from Times Square and the Fifth Avenue and Central Terminal. It was a very calm hotel and well isolated from the noises of the city. The rooms are nice, thoroughly cleaned and well equipped with USB and USB-C ports for different plugs and a quick Wi-Fi connection. An honorable mention to matress and pillows, quite thick and supportive unlike in other places where you normally get very cheap and uncomfortable alternatives. We also had a good breakfast included. On the whole, great value for money, I recommend this place.

- slemishm (6/5): NY budget hotel in good location - So the location of this place is great on 45th street just off 5th avenue The rooms are ok for this type of hotel in NY - small but you expect that and tge air con worked well ( after engineer visit that was very quick ) Room was quiet and black out Coffee in room was the old fashioned filter type machines Wifi worked fine usd 250 a night after taxes was almost half the price of the place i usually stay a block away so excellent price Staff very friendly and helpful But No real lobby No fitness or gym Tiny reception desk and no online check out Lines to checkin and yesterday long lines to checkout. I checked out 90 mins earlier than i really wanted to avoid the lines…. Asked if i could check out night before - no More staff and on an online checkin and most imp check out process would really fix the issue at this hotel
- roachcoachtravel (6/5): Needs some finishing touches - Hotel is currently under construction or renovations. I'm not really sure which one. The lobby is currently going through a makeover. The hallways and rooms are either missing wood trim or paint. The service the hotel unfortunately is rather slow. It was always one person at the desk the entire time. It feels like this is their first day on the job so just need to be patient. Not me directly someone came downstairs three times because the key the desk gave them didn't open their door. And then once they got in with the help of housekeeping, their key didn't work again a second time. The hotel is located blocks away from Broadway and Times Square. You really can't beat the location. Lots of pubs and food right downstairs on the same street. For the money, it's kind of hard to say yes or no to this place. It does feel on the lower end of the pricing for the area. so if you can find a good deal, it's probably OK for a two night stay maximum. The rooms are really designed for a one person traveler.

The location and cleanliness of the hotel was fine and made for a convenient stay. Issues with the room lock, provision and quality of the breakfast and disengaged staff put a sour note on what would have otherwise been a decent stay. Beds were comfortable, room was around the size of what we’d experienced and expected in previous trip to NYC. Suspect we could have found better value elsewhere though.

- destiny252 (10/5): Great location, coffee in the lobby all day, will hold your bags - The Citadines Connect Fifth Avenue is in a fantastic location! So convenient to Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Center and Times Square. My fiancé and I went for a weekend in December right before Christmas so we could see the Rockefeller tree, Saks light show, and Christmas window displays. Being at this hotel we felt we were right in the middle of the action, as it was so close to everything we had planned to do. You could hear the street noise at night, even though we were a few floors up, but I still slept well. The bathroom was a nice size. The bed was comfortable. We initially thought there were no available electric outlets near the nightstands, but we found USB outlets in the shelf of each night stand, which worked well to charge our phones and watches overnight. They have a minimal breakfast which is delivered to your room in the morning. The front desk clerk directed us to a QR code that I scanned, and the menu came up and I was able to choose from a very limited selection for the morning we were there. We stayed over on a Friday night and the breakfast options for Saturday were blueberry muffins and juice. There was a coffee pot in the room, and coffee in the lobby all day which was really tasty. There was also a Starbucks across the street and another cafe a few doors down towards 6th Avenue in case the breakfast options don't work for you. I got a Greek yogurt parfait and some fruit from the cafe on Saturday morning as I wanted a healthier option than the blueberry muffin. We were also able to leave our bags as we arrived in the morning hours before the 3:00pm check-in and we didn't want to have our backpacks with us all day as were were navigating through the crowds in the busy Rockefeller Center area. The front desk clerk was pleasant and I would definitely stay here again.
- DayTrip07663950018 (6/5): Nice location - Hotel was clean and in a good location to Times Square and Broadway district. However getting things fixed is not a priority for them. The ice maker was broken our entire stay. I had medication that needed to be kept cool, they suggested I get ice from the business next door! I requested small refrigerator which they said they would get for me. After several “reminders” I gave up. Bought ice $6 a bag from market down the street. Now for the elevators!! Completely down for a few hours one day then only one in operation the rest of our stay. Staying on the 21st floor didn’t really want to use the stairs, however we did a few times. The housekeepers and their carts took up what little elevator space there was, saw the door open and close many times before we made it in.

- carolyne669 (8/5): Excellent location, clean and comfortable - Absolutely perfect location! Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We came in on the train, which was only a few blocks walk from Grand Central. We went for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, and this was only half a block away. Easy walk to Times Square, MoMA, Junior’s, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park a Christmas Market, Sacks, and many Broadway shows. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had been updated, but the paint used was not bathroom quality, so it was flaking/peeling from the industrial-look towel bars and fixtures, but everything was clean and functional. Complimentary continental breakfast is included, but you need to order it the night before. They leave it in a bag on your door in the morning. This was really nice for the parade, because we could just take it with us when we left super early.

You're only about a 10 minute walk from Times Square and the Rockefeller center. There's a few pubs, and restaurant on the same street as the hotel. Great price for the weekend stay.
- fnkcollar (6/5): Good hotel but some improvements needed - We stayed at Citadines for 3 nights in November 2025, the location is in good proximity to a lot of attractions like Times Square/Broadway, Grand Central, Empire State Building, Rockafeller and Central Park. The room was clean and tidy, but unfortunately we was on the "Lower Level" which has virtually no view at all, other than a concrete wall outside the window, this let the stay down massively, but not wanting to make a fuss with hotel staff after 12 hours travelling - we just accepted it. The noise from staff in other rooms in the basement could be heard all hours of the night. We were told housekeeping was done every other day and so we left a tip for housekeeping on the Thursday, however coming back late in the evening after vacating the room for about 8am, nobody had been in to freshen the room. I would stay here again if I visited New York City, but would probably make a point of requesting a room on a higher floor.

Although the breakfast they serve is a scam. They only give you a bag with one juice 125ml, one fruit like a banana or apple and one yogurt or vanilla cream. I have been to many hotels. Even when you cant get to the breakfast and they give you a "box" to go which is usually twice in quantity and options. Imagine even if you give this instead of normal breakfast every day!! The worst thing about it is that you won't find it written anywhere that the "breakfast included" means a bag with 3 basic products...

- bryanjpasqua (4/5): No frills. - The location was very convenient and the price was a deal compared to area. Staff were friendly and the front desk. Lobby was small but adequate. Room size was good for Manhattan. Bathroom amenities were good quality. There is a daily fee and "continental breakfast" that is actually a bag with cereal and milk hung on your door early in the morning if you fill out the Google Form. I'd expect some form of guest services for a $25 daily resort fee.

A takarítók ugyanazt a liftet használják mint a vendégek, volt hogy 20 percet kellett várnunk a liftre mert a takarítók az emeletek között használták.

If you are looking for a convenient location consider th - The staff is cordial and friendly and very well connected to multiple subway stations and very close to attractions such as Empire State Building and Radio city. Lots of food options close by, most of these are open till late night. The property itself is pretty old. You have to pay for something as basic as a mini fridge in the room and there is no complimentary water bottle. During my stay the lifts stopped working and this meant long queues at the reception to get into the lift.

La habitación que nos tocó es pequeña para 3 personas. Apenas queda espacio para valijas. No hay ningún placard que te permita dejar la ropa. I also liked that I could store my bag when I was checked out of the hotel. The location was good too. The room was clean but had a strong cleaning solution smell. Bed was comfortable. I was given a room in the lower level. The toilet didn't work and there was no conditioner. There was also NO access to stairs which made it a fire hazard! I was moved to one floor up, but it was a disappointing start and there should really be no rooms down there.

We didn’t like it at all. Just coffee from the lobby was great maybe have something fresh there a small pastry and call it quits Breakfast

- Meredith (7/5): Quick and sweet, satisfied what we needed for one night. - Decent room for New York stay. Decently quite even on the 2nd floor. Even found roof access for a grande view! Close to everything, good walking distances. Changed our room the day of, wasn’t big deal because they were able to accommodate but had to give us lower floor.

- Manaira (7/5): Boa limpeza e localização. Porem, caro para o que oferece. - Limpeza otima! Quarto sempre limpo e cheiroso. Cafe da manha veio errado todos os fias. Eles trabalham com sistema de pedido. Porem, mesmo fazendo o pedido diário nao teve 1 dia em que o cafe tenha sido entregue corretamente no quarto. Alem disso, tive um imprevisto com voo antecipado e fiquei uma diaria a menos. Nao houve nenhum tipo de flexibilização sobre a estadia, mesmo avisando sobre o o orrido no dia do check in. Paguei 1 dia a mais sem utilizar, e ok se for a regra do hotel. Mas a comunicação na recepção me deixou constrangida, pois o atendente estava vendo a minha dificuldade com ingles e nao ajudou. No dia seguinte, vi que estava falando espanhol com outros hospedes brasileiros.
- Silvina Hebe (8/5): La pasamos genial, pero no por el hotel, que es común, si no porqu NY es genial - Lo mejor del hotel es la ubicación. El hotel es común, caro para el servicio que brindan. Pienso que el precio se debe a que está en Midtown a 30 mts de la 5ta Avenida. Nos pasó que no nos hacían la habitación cuando correspondía. Era día por medio, pero no lo hacían y teníamos que reclamar. Otra cosa es que al llegar te hacen completar un formulario consultándote que quieres desayunar cada día. Es inútil completarlo porque te dan lo que ellos quieren.

- Chinchilla (9/5): Buen Hotel - Su ubicacion muy buena, no se escuchaba ruido de la calle. Nos dieron desayuno, aunque era muy básico pero nos permitía empezar el día. Puedes tomar café el que quieras. Un poco pequeña.la.habitacion para las 4 personas que nos hospedamos (Familia).

- Anika (5/5): Okay…for one night!! - It was clean, it was okay. Got an upgrade to a bigger room, felt uncomfortable in the room. The early check in was approved, but getting there they said not possible. Very annoying! The included breakfast was a joke! Cereals, milk and apple for order to your door - really? If I knew that I’d booked another hotel!!

Top hotel j'y est passer - A part le comfort du lit rien Le "petit dejeuner" ou mieux dit un sac accrocher a votre porte avec un petit jus une pièce de fromage et une brioche en forme de croissant !! Tout les matin a 06:00 le sacher a était pendu à la porte notre réveille ... Très dècevant A part sa je tiens a vous prévenir que les sage femmes sont des voleuse et que l'hotel les protège son meme confirmer si c'est vrai ou pas!!!!! Je me suis fais voler mes chaussures UGG que j'avais acheter pour ma fille de 2 ans. Comment : Nous étions trois dans la chambre. Le dernier jour, avant de partir, nous avons fait nos valises. J’avais mis le sac avec les chaussure de coter pour éviter qu’elles ne se cassent dans la valise. Mais avec le stress du départ, j’ai pris la valise et j’ai oublié le sac dans la chambre. J’y ai aussi laissé un autre sac que nous avions préparé, contenant des vêtements que nous ne portions plus, mais encore en bon état, destinés à des sans-abri. Ces deux sacs ont donc été oubliés dans la chambre. Nous nous en sommes rendu compte seulement une fois arrivés dans notre pays. Nous avons aussitôt appelé l’hôtel et leur avons aussi écrit. Ils nous ont dit qu’ils allaient faire des recherches. Nous avons même demandé à une amie qui habite à New York d’y aller sur place pour vérifier, mais on lui a répondu qu’il n’y avait rien. C’est un mensonge, selon nous. À la fin, l’hôtel nous a demandé si nous avions des photos des sacs — sûrement pour savoir si nous avions des preuves contre eux.
