- FarazA41 (2/5): Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend! - Our short layover stay at Royal Tulip Hotel Sharjah was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. We booked a single-day stay, intending to rest for a few hours before checking into our main hotel later in the day. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a huge disappointment. The apartment we were given was nothing like the pictures online. It was dirty, with old, worn-out furniture, broken kitchen cabinets, and a terrible moldy smell. The bathrooms were filthy, making it impossible to feel comfortable. When I complained at the reception, they had no alternative room available. They sent someone to clean the bathroom and sprayed air freshener for the smell, but it made little difference. Instead of resting, we ended up leaving after just two hours and spent the rest of the time at a nearby mall until we could check in at our main hotel. This was a terrible start to our vacation, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Cockroaches in the room, insects coming out of the sewer opening in the bathroom, smells like Dettol everywhere, dirty, bathroom sink leaking, and upon checkout they tried to charge me 100 Durhams for a crack in a shelf I didn't even use. Worst experience ever. Also not sure what the 4 stars are for, the hotel has absolutely no amenities, should be single star. Spend more money and avoid this place.

- G4010BG_ (2/5): Disgusting hotel, terrible, dirty, COCKROACHS! - Disgusting hotel, terrible, dirty, with COCKROACHS! There was one towel in the room for two people, and I asked the reception three times to bring a second one, and until I caught the cleaner in the corridor on the third day, the towel was never brought! The window in the room faces the wall, so it’s as cramped during the day as it is at night! The location of the hotel to the sea is simply terrible! We bought a tour to this hotel and almost ruined our vacation, it’s good that we left earlier!

No proper parking facility. No COVID precautionary measures are being taken at all. Not safe either. Dirtiest hotel absolutely disgusting.shameful customer service!

- Evie432 (4/5): Good hotel poor service - When we walked in no one was on the desk then after when he latter came he was so rude at us and when we approached him about he's attitude he actually shouted at us,and after that he never spoke to us he did all the checki in process without saying any word he didn't even explain anything about the hotel facilities,checkout time,how to connect to the wifi we had to find everything on our own. In the morning while checking out he didn't even say hi to us. And we were so disappointed. Apart from that everything else was just amazing.

Though i had told them to fix the shower cubicle door but no one bothered to repair after being told for several times. Ac was making so much noise that one cant have their sound sleep. Staff behaviour was not that exceptional though!! Left my power bank there but they had denied that they didn't find it. Apart from location nothing was great to mention about this hotel.

- meShifaam (10/5): Best stay in Sharjah - I travel frequently in & out of UAE, travel between UAE Cities. Hotels are the crucial thing in terms of parking, Sharjah and location. Tulip Inn Sharjah is one the best hotel I stayed in Sharjah & staffs are very friendly and organized. Rooms are nice and cleaned. The service is amazing the senior managers of this property are really caring which we can see on the staff behavior
- Abnvrubn (4/5): Poor Coordination among staffs - I had given them a call the day before the check in asking if its possible to check in early as i had a shoot to attend to later that day and they confirmed it saying it’s possible and nothing to worry but the very next day i was being said that there was no such information stated there and i had to wait for around 2 hours to get my room which honestly had issues with the key and they kept going and changing it twice and later on coming up with a master key card and mentioned that i rather not move it from the switch borad activator thing. Other than all this mess .. the staff there was pretty polite and helpful and the rooms are clean and the service is good too.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Pathetic Room Service - Since morning 9 am I had to at least remind 20 times to clean up the room. They did it at 6 pm. Each time when i asked them to do it, they said there are staff meetings on Tuesdays. I wonder if the guest is for the staff or the staff is for the guest. Rooms are dimly lit. If you are working on your laptop or want to do some reading you will for sure strain your eyes

- 657mukeshj (6/5): Nice location but not very well maintained - The location is very good, just 10 meters away from Mega Mall and there are lot of restaurants near by as well. My experience started on a bad note, when they were supposed to pick me up from the airport at 1am and no one turned up and I had to hire a taxi after waiting for 15 minutes. Then my bathroom had a shower that was not working properly, it also had pests. I did complain about the shower issue at the reception and nothing was done to address this. Since my travel was for work and was only for 3 nights I did adjust. Buffet breakfast had decent spread and was quite alright. Room interiors were good enough and housekeeping staff visited regularly and did a good job.

- zizu114 (2/5): The worst hotel I've ever stayed - I have stayed in this property from 08th March 2017 to 22nd March 2017. I flew to dubai in an early morning flight from Cochin so I was awake all the night and I arrived at the hotel around 8.30 am. Even though I have specifically mentioned my time of arrival, they told me to wait there till the room gets available. I told them that I have mentioned my time of arrival at the time of booking but they told me that they can't do anything (with out any emotions). Then I requested them to let me use their Wifi as my UAE no. was not working and I wished to inform my client about the happening. But then too she said "no sir, we can't. we could give you the password only at the time of check in". As I was coming from India where Reliance Jio was providing free data and also public places are having free wifi service" , I was so disappointed with the answer and her tone. it is horrible. Normally, every apartments come with a kitchen and washing machine. When I checked in, I saw no kitchen, no washing machine,a damaged and not working minibar, a microwave, which is always showing time(Sometime I got confused bcos during night also it was showing time) I think cleaning is done on every alternative days and they will never wash or clean tea cups, glasses etc. I bought a bottle of Nescafe and 1kg of sugar because they were not refilling the supplies. Also i used to purchase a 2 litre water bottle every night as there was no supply of water. Many of the times my phone was not working and when I complained, they send a technician and he made a call and said that it is all perfect. Wash room was also "pretty good". when you pull the mixer n diverter for using the shower tap, both the tap and the shower will work simultaneously. Since I am concerned about the scarcity n conservation water, I have complained about it in the reception, they send someone but of no use.It was simply wasting all water. I have booked this hotel through booking.com and there, it was mentioned that there is a pool but the pool is a baby pool. Gym was also ill equipped. They have offered a complimentary breakfast for one day. Menu was pancake, puri bhaji and Bread loafs. I have seen many Russian People staying in this apartment so I think that the property will be one of the cheapest in Dubai n Sharjah. No great Lobby only 3+2 sofas next to reception. dull interiors etc. I was describing all the negatives but let me tell you something really great. If you are a foodie, you will get everything. there is a huge variety of restaurants. Egyptian, Tamilian, Kerala, North Indian, Yemeni, Chinese, Ethiopian, Pakistani etc. MegaMall is just in front of this hotel and have many restaurants and coffee shops like starbucks, costa coffee, chili's etc. So the location is great. And there was a lady in the reception, one Ms. Anita, she is from my place and she helped me a lot in adjusting to that place. Another one was Mr. Kiran who was also in the front desk. They both were nice to me.

Do not get me wrong I have been to least advanced cities but the maintenance of this hotel is just appalling. I am posting pictures as proof of this. The room was big and spacious. It even had a kitchenette. The location is great. It is near so many places to eat and shop and is very accessible. It is also close to the Dubai-Sharjah highway. But I just couldn't wait to get out of the hotel because it was dirty. I only booked the place for a nights since I needed to go to Dubai the following day.

- Tanzeel (4/5): Racism - We stayed for 7 nights .the bed in room was old and uncomfortable like hard rock also would make sounds if we moved and was not attrached to the base . They only provided 2 small water bottles and teabags for first day complimentary slippers were provided that too when asked for first day only Hand towels were not replaced after 1 day. Even if house keeping did come we were not given hand towel in washroom had to use the bath towels. The worst part parking is a big problem around this area but that was taken care until the last night when we came back around 11 30 pm and as usual called security to give the keys for parking we were told the driver is off today and i dnt have license so you can park your car nearby around the mall as no parking in basement or hotel parking . It was late night we managed to find parking After doing rounds distance away . The strange part when we were coming walking towards hotel found out the same secuirty guard shiv parking omani car in the parking. We asked him how come you are parking this car when you said you dnt have license ?? He replied rudly in case of emergency i can . we went in and complained to manager but he replied the same we dnt have driver .we could have made police complain since the security didnt have license to drive atleast that is what we were told. How come we were denied and later he was parking omani car. Racism.
- Tauseef (8/5): Nice comfort stay near major business hub - Since the journey was for business purpose and I found hotel to be comfortable in regard to stay, food and easily approachable to some of the major business areas, would like to stay next time as well.
- Judy (10/5): Very friendly staff and close to most things - The staff were exceptionally helpful when our taxi driver delivered us to this hotel by mistake. We returned to stay here because of this. They continued to be very helpful in every area. We had a great stay.

- Vanessa (2/5): Very disappointed!!!! - Checked in only at 12 am and the room was so dirty, there was a terrible smell. When I complained about it, there solution was to spray air freshner. There was a Filipino lady at the reception that was extremely rude. When asked to get breakfast in the room, one of the staff at reception tells me that I have to eat at the restaurant and that they cannot give it in the room. Later spoke to room service and they said that they could bring it to my room. In any case, this is one hotel I will not recommend to anyone and will definitely not be going back.

- Skeeto (4/5): Two Nights In Sharjah - The positive things are free wifi, proximity to a mall and taxis are easy to get. The hotel is a bit old, the shower rose malfunctioned (needs to be replaced) and the hallways give the impression that you are in a run down apartment. Also, my room was cleaned around 5:30pm, just about 10mins after I returned tired after a full day. There was also a kitchenette, however, the utensils left a lot to be desired. I would have changed hotels if I stayed more than 2 nights.

- Ian (4/5): Business trip, close to our customer - Bed was rock hard. Manager insisted on keeping my passport . First excuse was to scan it for the local authorities, I waited for them to scan it & then went to my room with it. A few minutes later they knocked on my door saying they needed to scan it again but then they would bring it right back. When I went to the front desk to get it they said they needed to keep it to verify the Hotel.com payment was "real". I finally got it back but the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth, I wish they had been honest with me about the whole thing.

- Homer (4/5): Not Impressed with the customer service at front desk and the maintenace of the hotel - The shower stalls were not clean and poor maintenance on shower floor drains, no safe in room 708 as advertised on their website, and poor customer service at desk during check in and check out. Lady behind Customer service desk did not have eye to eye contact..Went downstairs later to reconnect internet, and the gentleman performed Outstanding Customer Service. Upon Checking out, I informed the lady that I was not happy and that I would not stay here again... She acted like that I was there for her which is not or never will be customer service.
