- maria (10/5): great room in Barcelona - good location - the room was excellent -spacious with a small terrace 4th floor large bathoom and shower king bed you could purchase breakfast there - we only did the last day as we were leaving for convenience plenty of places near by to eat area is wonderful. fairly close to most but took uber to other areas that were a 20 min walk or so. there is an app which you use for your room key and to get into the building didnt know my view was the back of the bldg would have liked a balcony on the street side app was good BUT dont lt your phone die! or you cant get in. thankfully there were peeople inside that could open thedoor for us and then the staff helped us to the room and opened or doorfor us til our phones recharged. didnt think about that till it happened , but wouldnt stop me from re booking there again

Lying on the deck in the sun was the perfect way to acclimate from the jet lag. Adjacent to the bus line and short walk to the subway. Staff were lovely, and we were lucky enough to be staying there for the parade for the Dia de la Hispanidad right down the Passeig de Gràcia. Was a little worried about the other reviews regarding noise while we rested from our flight from Brisbane but wasn’t an issue at all. Nothing

- Alison (9/5): Great location, wonderful staff, super clean modern rooms. - Great location very close to Casa Batllo. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming making us feel valued. The room was reasonably sized for the city, and had a new interior that was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included, a cold buffet with hot options to order as extras. There was a good range of options and we were happy. There was also a coffee machine in the room which could be used for hot water for tea. They were happy to store our bags for a few hours after check out which was great. Overall, a very happy experience! Really nothing to complain about - the coffee machine in the room was very noisy and a kettle would have been nice, also the breakfast items often needed replenishing. Overall everything was great though.

- Bettina (8/5): the staff very helpful and we liked the location my daughter and I enjoyed our visit - location was great only a desk chair and an oversized chair in room. no chairs on balcony (we used the desk chair and a stool from the bathroom to sit on the balcony !) and when I asked for another chair I was told there were not any although I saw at least 20 on the rooftop and dining area. never saw any used

- Camille (6/5): Hôtel Top ! Personnel d’accueil Zéro ! - L’emplacement est super ! L’espace dans la chambre est très bien ! Il y avait un manque de diversité dans le petit déjeuner et les produits n’étaient pas attrayants. Un vrai tout « petit » déjeuner... Nous avons aussi vu des autres clients annuler leurs petits déjeuner à l’hôtel. Et les 2 femmes à l'accueil, une rousse et l'autre brune tatouée, étaient très désagréables! Le premier jour, nous sommes arrivés pour découvrir le petit déjeuner, n’ayant pas reçu d’explications lors de notre late check-in, nous sommes arrivés au desk, et avons demandé « Comment ça se passe pour le petit déjeuner ? » . Et la première réaction de cette jeune femme était de nous répondre : "Il faut payer!" Vous serez facturé » Alors que si elle avait pris le temps de vérifier que le petit déjeuner avait déjà été payé. Nous avons simplement demandé les détails, comme les horaires... Nous n'avons pas du tout aimé le comportement de ces deux femmes!

- Fragkos (6/5): Not a 5 star . - The location was great . Everything else not a 5 star hotel , maybe close to 3-4. Breakfast was not for a 5 star hotel . Also the room was tiny and had a window looking to other rooms , you couldn’t have it open and have light .

Ironically, if it were a 4* hotel, it'd be getting a much higher rating! Bit noisy We were expecting a much more spacious balcony judging by the pictures of the room - there was no chair or space to relax on the balcony Rude restaurant staff Extortionately priced breakfast which we didn't bother trying A bath would be nice

Teuer, es fing zu spät (erst nach 8 Uhr) an, sogar zur korrekten Uhrzeit wurde man vom Personal unfreundlich begrüßt als ob man zu früh da gewesen wäre, viele Fruchtfliegen, wenig Auswahl, wechselnde Bedingungen und Preise, alle Früchte, Gemüse und Cremes waren zumindest vom Vortag oder noch älter, die Verfärbungen waren deutlich sichtbar, wir haben uns nicht getraut davon zu essen, beim auschecken wurde gesagt dass die REchnung per Email käme, kam aber nicht, auch auf Anfrage per Email wurde dies abgelehnt, ich musste erst booking.com kontaktieren bevor ich (dann beim zweiten Mal) eine Rechnung erhielt

- Julane (10/5): Loved it! Would definitely stay here again. - The hotel was located in a great location. We were close to public transportation, restaurants, shopping, etc. The area surrounding the hotel was clean and felt safe to walk around at night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast buffet was great. You also have the option to order items from a menu if you do not wish to use the buffet. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again the next time we're in Barcelona. Nothing.

- Dawn (9/5): Very pleasant stay - Spacious clean room, very helpful staff. Able to open French doors to bring in fresh air. Great location close to Gaudi houses and lots of nearby places to eat. There was a Hop On/Hop Off bus stop a few steps away. Unable to watch any TV in English apart from news
- Oscar (7/5): This is not a five-star hotel. In this price bracket it recommend staying elsewhere such as Casa Bonay or the Hoxton. - Nice people in the reception. Clean rooms. There won’t come a day where this is a five star hotel. Having just come from another five star hotel, it lacked everything from nice lobby, service, luggage handling, ammenties and so on. It is at very best a decent 4 star hotel. But in this price bracket it recommend staying elsewhere such as Casa Bonay or the Hoxton. The street the hotel is located on is extremely touristy which wasn’t to our liking either. But many shops just outside the door.

- Audrey (5/5): Fantastic location, Disappointing Service — Not a Five-Star Experience - excellent location of the hotel — it made accessing the city and nearby attractions convenient and enjoyable. Additionally, the room was comfortable and provided a relaxing space the level of service provided during our stay fell significantly short of what is expected from a five-star establishment. A hotel bearing a five-star rating is generally expected to deliver a consistently high standard of service, including — but not limited to — attentive and professional front desk and reservations support, valet or porter service, evening housekeeping or turndown service, and a guest experience marked by attention to detail and proactive hospitality. Regrettably, none of these elements were present during our stay. The lack of responsiveness to guest needs, combined with the absence of hallmark five-star services, makes it difficult to justify the current rating.
