I will return back, if I visit Shanghai again. - The location of the hotel is very convenient if you visit Fudan University and some neighbouring places. A metro station and bus stops are very close to the hotel. For breakfast, you can find traditional chinese cuisine - hot and cold, but also there is a very good choice of western foods (English breakfast, omelette, bacon, sausage, etc.), fruits, vegetable,... It would be good if the hotel extends its offer of western meals menu for lunch and dinners. It si quite difficult to speak in English to young waiters and order a meal.

Das Personal im Frühstücksrestaurant könnte aufmerksamer sein, Den Kaffeemaschinen fehlte mal Milch oder Tassen, Die Tische wurden nur langsam ab- und neu eingedeckt. Uns fehlte manchmal eine Bar im Hotel, an der man die Abende ausklingen lassen kann.

- Mark (9/5): Close to Fudan,a great stay with excellent service. - I had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Shanghai Fudan, as we were visiting because my daughter goes to the university nearby. The hotel itself was clean, well located, for us and had everything we needed. We didn't book breakfast initially but decided to add it one day. The man at the breakfast area told me we could just show up and mention our room number, with a certain price. However, after checkout, I noticed the price was higher than expected. The lady explained the cheaper rate applies only if booked a day in advance, which was a bit surprising. Overall, I still recommend the hotel for its great service and location.

- Yi (8/5): - Im Zimmer fehlten Mülltüten, offenbar sollte man nasse Abfälle in die Mülleimern direkt einwerfen, sehr komisch! Erst habe ich gedacht, dass die Putzfrau die Mülltüten vergessen hat. Vielleicht sind die Mülheimer so stylisch, dass Plastiktüten die Schönheit zerstören könnten. Ich persönlich habe eine Bar mit Alkohol Möglichkeiten wie Cocktails oder leichte Wein, Bier bei diesem warmen Wetter. Ein Hotel mit sovielen Stars muss doch eine Cocktail bar haben! Beim Frühstück fehlten gute europäischen Zutaten: Käse war schon gelb, schicken und Salami waren kaum zu sehen Vielleicht liegt es daran, dass es kaum westliche Gäste da sind. Die Service personal war alle super! Vielen dank dafür!

- Conny (9/5): Beautiful Hotel close to Fudan University - Very comfortable, beautiful Hotel. Rooms are large and clean. Lots of services and amenities around the Hotel itself. Breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly even though not everyone feels comfortable speaking English. If you are not in the Hotel for the proximity to Fudan university, the Hotel is a bit far from public transportation and main sights. But it is very easy to get around and there are a lot of options for dining in the vicinity.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - 5点到酒店 被告知房间还没好，不过就等了一会会，总台看到我们2大1小直接给了多一份早餐表示歉意。入住过程体验非常好。 对于酒店不能给四星五星好评是因为：1. 房间卫生间味道比较大,是上完厕所后没有换气的感觉,但是服务员说是有换气扇的,而且他们闻不出来,入住的2天3夜一直被这个味道困扰 2. 晚上睡觉能听到隔壁厕所放水的声音 3. 订的是行政房,为了平时比如早茶啊,午餐简餐啊,下午茶什么的可以去坐坐(因为这次就是休闲度假一样的), 但是可能我的认知有问题, 皇冠假日的行政酒廊早上10点才开始,而且除了茶水,咖啡以及雪碧可乐外,就一盘带皮的水果, 一直到晚上5点半有个简餐, 当然因为每个人的口味不同,对于简餐不做评价,但是品种是真的很少很少. 而且餐位很少,迟点去就得坐沙发上吃饭,也就放弃了. 这次的行政酒廊是多年来入住的行政房里体验感最差的. 不过服务人员很好,每次看到客人要走了都第一时间起身去按电梯,知道电梯关门才回. 4. 游泳体验也不好, 除了泳池外的所有设施都比较陈旧,没有大浴巾,就一条大点的毛巾, 游泳池回来瑟瑟发抖,没有浴巾可以包裹(所以千万记得去游泳一定要带房间的浴巾去), 设施卫生请看照片

- Henriette (9/5): Location perfect for Fudan, very good hotel but poor restaurant. - Location: Perfect for Fudan university and it was very busy just before semester start and before students have found independent accommodation. It is about a 25 minute taxi ride to Pudong or Jing’an. Rooms are big and comfortable, all is very clean and well looked after. Staff are very willing and friendly. Breakfast buffet is generous and very good. Not all reception or restaurant staff speak English which can be a small problem. Apart from the very good breakfast the food and service in the restaurant are very poor. Room service is good but food also not great, so if you have the time go and eat elsewhere.

- Henriette (8/5): Perfect for Fudan university, excellent breakfast. - This hotel is literally opposite Fudan university and perfect if that is where you need to be. The rooms are big and comfortable, Wi-Fi is very good and the staff is really friendly. Breakfast is very good, the omelette are delicious! It is not really geared up for foreigners and a number of the staff do not speak English. However, one can always find someone to get things done and organised. The most disappointing is the restaurant, even though breakfast is really very good, the food and service at dinner is not great.
- Julia (8/5): Very good - Although the receptionist could not speak English, she tried her best to communicate. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. Staff helped ordering didi. I would stay here again.
- Michael Allen (10/5): - Reception desk senior staffs are very helpful and flexible with room arrangements. Cleaning crews have been very nice and thoughtful to our requests. The only piece we were a bit of disappointing is the breakfast was below expectation (especially when other things are so great with the hotel), and service wasn't too organized and professional.

- John (8/5): A Good Place to Stay if You’re Visiting Fudan U - The service was generally pretty good. Most staff spoke some some level of English and they definitely made an effort to be helpful. I was in Shanghai for a few days to visit my son who was doing a semester abroad at Fudan University. You will not find a more convenient place to stay if you happen to have business at the university. You are also within reasonable walking distance of the Shanghai metro (maybe 10 or 15 minutes walking). The rooms are clean and pretty well appointed. For the price, I think the hotel is a very good value/

Reception was a breeze and overall stay was pleasant, except maybe the breakfast selection can be even more fancier.
