• Nicholas (9/5): Excellent value, well situated - Staff and facilities were excellent. Location very convenient for all travel in Central districts. Breakfast room very nice. Our own room was comfortable, clean, and well serviced. The breakfast menu was limited in choice. I would have liked more choices. The coffee and juice were fine, as was the food adequate, just rather tiring as we stayed for a week.

During our stay at Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong, we had a very disappointing experience with the staff in the breakfast area. The waiters and kitchen staff were extremely rude, unfriendly, and unwilling to communicate with us. Every question or suggestion we had was immediately rejected, and they showed absolutely no interest in helping guests. When we booked the hotel through Booking.com, it was clearly stated that breakfast included international cuisine. However, when we arrived, the breakfast was almost entirely focused on Chinese food. We politely asked if it would be possible to provide some alternative options, but the staff refused to help and behaved in a very disrespectful and unprofessional manner. Unfortunately, because of the people working in the kitchen and breakfast service, our entire impression of the hotel was ruined. Their behavior completely destroyed the credibility and reputation of this hotel in our eyes. Rating: 0/10.

• SANNY (8/5): We had a nice stay here in this very convienent location and it was comfortable for us. - This is an excellent location in Causeway Bay. The MTR station is right there at Times Square, there’s lots of good restaurants in this area, very convenient. The breakfast was ok. The beef noodle dish was good. It would be nice to have more of a variety or a buffet. The hotel is a bit old and dated and could use a refresh but otherwise was fine. The breakfasts were ok but would’ve like more of a variety or a buffet.

• Theresa (6/5): - The location was great and the price was acceptable. The standard was not as expected and as promoted. Pictures of the room were scarce and not representative. It was like we checked into a Motel 6. The room felt and smelt damp, the interior was clean but clearly worn down and old. The carpet was rather gross and the bathroom extremely small. You can't see pictures of the toilet, as it was hidden in a corner behind the bathroom door. Suitable for a 1 night stay, but not more.

• Isabella (8/5): Great location and very spacious rooms - The hotel is located near the Causeway Bay subway station, which is super convenient. You hop on the MTR and in no time you're in Central or anywhere on the red line. There is a busy roadway behind the hotel, but I didn't really hear it when I went to bed. The AC is probably louder than the road. Furthermore, it seemed pretty sound proof in that I haven't really heard any other guests through any of the walls! So barely any noise complaints if at all. The room was also very spacious. Just like the apartments, hotels in Hong Kong can tend to be really small, which is not great if you have big luggage with you. This room was really spacious and I had plenty of room to sort my luggage and personal belongings. The breakfast is included, which is nice if you've traveled a long way and don't want to think about what to eat the next day. However, the menu is only limited to 4 items and if you stay there for a week, it might bore you. I also wasn't very keen on the options, but it was okay. I think I have more of a preference towards buffet style breakfasts where you can pick anything. Usually that tends to be a nice mix between western and eastern/local cuisine. I also wanted to tell the staff my shower drain doesn't really work very well, however, with the amount of tourists every day checking out or checking in, there didn't seem to be a good time to tell them. Though the checking in and out process doesn't take long, I didn't really want to stand in line to tell them my worry. But other than that, the staff is really nice and able to help!

• Caroline (10/5): An excellent stay at Holiday Inn Express Causeway Bay - The amenity within the location is great as you can get a supermarket, eateries, shopping and etc. around the vicinity. Transportation to the hotel to everywhere is also convenient. We took an Airport bus (Cityliner A11) which was quite reasonable (HKD 41.90) to Causeway Bay and the hotel is within 7 mins of walking time. Please ensure that an Octopus card is purchased at the airport as it is the most convenient card to use for transportation. The room was small, but it is a value for money. Check-in was a breeze as I made a booking via Booking.com and was done within 5 mins. Overall, a small hotel but comfortable. The location was the plus point as the MTR was also nearby with buses. The staffs were helpful and polite. Room cleaniness was great as the room was cleaned everyday and mineral water and teas were refilled. Breakfast was limited and for an IHG group, a bit more within choices would be great for guests.

Miałem z okna bardzo ładny widok. Rezerwując pokój wiedziałem, że mogę mieć w łazience wannę a nie prysznic. Miałem wannę z możliwością używania prysznica, nie jest to to, co najbardziej lubię. Wolę prysznic. Ale wiedziałem, że tak może być. Nie było to bardzo uciążliwe. Wanna jednak rodzi jednak pewne większe ryzyko poślizgnięcia się. Jest to szczególnie istotne, gdy jest się samemu w pokoju.

• Wilma (8/5): ok - Die Lage ist perfekt. Das Zimmer ist auch in Ordnung. Das Frühstück ist einfach grauenvoll. KEIN Buffet. Statt dessen gab es jeden morgen 4 Auswahlmöglichkeiten zum Frühstücken. Eggs Benedikt auf Toast mit Soße Hollondaise, ein trockenes kleines Crossoint mit einem kleinen trockenen Brötchen mit Butter und Marmelade, eine ungenießbare Haferbrühe und noch irgendwas anderes. Von der Auswahl schrecklich, vom Geschmack auch und von der Menge unmöglich. Davon wurde man einfach überhaupt nicht satt. Und diese 4 Auswahlmöglichkeiten gab es die ganze Woche. Nach einer Woche gibt es für eine Woche 4 neue Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Die waren auch nicht besser. Manchmal dunkle lange Haare im Bad - nicht so toll
