Guest Reviews
- Mathew (8/5): - Friendly staff, clean room
- louisewH2790TD (10/5): Great hotel & fab location - Great hotel , brilliant location . Good 4 star
For exploring Paris with 3 good metros all near by .
Friendly reception staff and great shower & fluffy towels . Rooms were not big but we asked for a twin as was travelling with my daughter . This location is amazing . You explore Paris then at night you have a very local feel with tons of bars and pavement cafes . Felt very safe in this area .
- Théo (6/5): - Bon hôtel mais sans plus. Chambre assez petite et sombre. On a pu check in en avance.
Le staff est correct, le quartier est vraiment sympa en été.
- James (10/5): Lovely hotel with plenty of transport options - Everything was lovely. The hotel is clean and welcoming and check in was a breeze. The area has plenty of transport and food options.
I'd definitely stay here again.
- FANAUA (10/5): - Close to the stations and plenty of places to eat and not far from the places we wanted to go and sightsee. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice location, good breakfast.
Room was clean and good size, little bit dated but nice.
- Luca Francesco (10/5): - Such a great place! Amazing location, always clean and the friendly staff. It’s on a street full of restaurants and cafes and it’s situated right between two metro stations. A+
- Seyedeh Nazanin (10/5): - Clean, cozy hotel in a great spot—just steps away from restaurants and public transit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Magnifique! - The housekeeping staff were efficient and took their responsibilities seriously. The rooms were spotless.
- Melanie (10/5): - Was in a great area and convenient to many things.
- Bernhard (6/5): - It was good but a bit older than in the pictures
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to travel and entertainment - Location is good near the theatre and close to Station, but far enough not to be any issue and plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby.
Rooms were basic and quiet despite possible noise from late night revellers
- Jennie (8/5): - It was a cute hotel at a good location, close to the metro & train. What was not so good was that there was an unexpected heat wave & no air conditioning on yet because it wasn’t required yet so early in the season. My room was stuffy & uncomfortable, which gave me anxiety as I was overheating. I opened a window & it fell on my hand causing tremendous pain. Thank goodness it wasn’t broken but extremely bruised .
- Kristen (10/5): - The staff was lovely and helpful. Beautiful and clean. The connecting rooms were amazing! Hotel next to so many restaurant's and sub ways. Easily to get around the area wither by walking, bus or train. Would highly recommend!
- DianeW348 (8/5): Very nice boutique hotel - A hard as I try, I can’t seem to find a hotel where the rooms are normal size! I booked the larger “cozy” room with the terrace. The terrace did not disappoint! We had to change rooms because there was absolutely no storage in the first room. One of the front desk staff even admitted that some rooms were too small for two people for a week-long stay.
Pros:
Very good location to anywhere in the city. We took taxicabs as we’re getting older and the knees don’t work like they used to!
Lots of local cafes with a very easy walk from the hotel.
Fabulous outdoor weekend market with fresh food and boutique shop-type items.
Room was extremely clean.
Front desk staff were always helpful with ALL our questions.
Cons:
Lack of storage.
- Aileen (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable rooms. Great service.
- Rami (10/5): - well maintained hotel, very clean, nice staff, safe area & convenient transportation
- Hussein (10/5): - Very pleasant staff. Very good facilities.
Very convenient location. Lots of cafes and restaurants. Very close to the commercial at gare Montparnasse.
- Hussein (6/5): - Could be better for the price
- Jonathan (8/5): - Great location, staff and up-to-date facilities
- MZF123 (8/5): Olympic break - We stayed here for 2 nights in August during the Olympics. We weren’t in the room a lot but it was very clean, the shower was nice and the reception staff were helpful when contacted. The location was very good, lots of public transport close by as well as bars and cafes too. We did have an issue with our fridge in the room but this was fixed quickly and without fuss, overall a nice hotel.
- Trail04060203115 (2/5): 1.6 Stars at maximum! - Location: Very good, within 30 minutes bus ride to best attractions.
Service: Tried to buy only 2 coffees and 2 croissants but been told that is not possible and I have to buy their 11 euros breakfast, special thing what can I say.
Rooms: 1.6 stars at maximum, the rooms are smelling, the walls are all scratched and there is mould on them. First room had the bathroom very bad affected by the mould and luckily I got another one on my request.
I don’t want to be that person complaining, the only reason I’m leaving this review is that the stars of the hotel are misleading. It cannot be a 4 stars hotel, looking at the rooms at this hotel and another 4 stars I stayed I can give it a generous 1.6 stars!
If this was a 1.6 stars I would’ve understood but 4 stars is very far away from that.
RE:
I had to insist and insist to the person that i only want 2 coffees and 2 croissants, it doesn't help with anything if i got 2 croissants free. Its all about the experience, your croissants doesn't justify the 4 stars hotel.
Its interesting that from all what i written all you have to say is i gave you 2 croissants.
This could've ended very bad as some people with allergy to mold could've need medical help because of your rooms.
Shocking!
- Judy (6/5): - The hotel is esthetically pleasantly nice, rooms were clean but overall needs upgrades on furniture in rooms and strange electrical blinds in bathroom which goes up and down. Feels like a peepshow if that makes sense. Manager is great very helpful but a female receptionist with glasses is not ! Toilet in reception area needs attention regularly as it was smelly and dirty ! But fortunately my room was always clean! A very convenient area with 2 metro very near and plenty of eateries nearby. Pricing is average of the rooms and next time id book nearer to central as if you book early you'd get a better or similar price.
- Isis (10/5): - Very conveniently located, clean and very friendly & helpful staff.
- Gillian (10/5): - We had a lovely stay as part of our honeymoon. Comfortable room, friendly staff and good location. A short walk to the metro which takes you to the airport. Would recommend & would stay here again.
- Alice (6/5): - Convenient ! Lights in the room are too dark.
- OLIVIER (10/5): - Very nice and quiet room.
- Davide (8/5): - Great spot with a great access to dining and the metro.
- Marie Paule (8/5): - I give it a four because a few things could have been adressed. One bedroom on the fifth floor had a foul smell and the curtain in the other one was torn. The taps could be better scrubbed. I like the neighborhood and the convenience of the hotel.
- Richard (10/5): Nice hotel - We stay there every year for 3/4 days.
Close to everything. Nice hotel.
The only downside for me is the gym. It’s practically nonexistent.
- F6533KNalexandrer (10/5): Modern Comfort in the Heart of Paris - Hôtel Le M Paris was the second hotel we stayed at during our trip to Paris, and it did not disappoint. The rooms were modern and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff were courteous and always ready to help with any request. The convenient location allowed us to easily explore the Luxembourg Gardens, and the charming streets of Saint-Germain and the Latin Quarter, which was one of our favorite neighborhoods, if not our favorite! I highly recommend Hôtel Le M Paris for a delightful stay.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Check in was easy and quick. We had a family room - two rooms set up to be able to have a single hallway door. The rooms were comfortable. Check out was frustrating. The employee didn't know how to check us out since we were technically in two rooms. That was the only hiccup during the stay.
- Sylvia (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Good breakfast, everything works, no problems. Room very nice. I have stayed here on 3 occasions.
- Jonathan (8/5): - Great location to access all of Paris whilst being a busy area filled with food, entertainment without too much annoying tourist venues.
- Curtis (10/5): - Location/ Location/ Location 😎
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Safe area, even at night with plenty of cafés and shops close by. Hotel was clean and comfy and reception were very helpful.
- SnowyBadger (4/5): Good location, terrible infrastructure - The hotel is well located close by the Montparnasse train station in a very nice and active area, but when I was there nothing worked: the staff couldn't create new keycards, so we had to be accompanied by someone every time we had to get into the room, and once in the room, there was no hot water (only lukewarm at best) and the AC wasn't working.
Long story short, it was not a nice stay.
- ERIC (8/5): - Good place to go to Bombino Theatre.
Very good personal who help for everything.
- nancylO6761CA (10/5): A chrming hotel in an outstanding location - It was my first time to Paris. The experience in the hotel made my trip more enjoyable.
The hotel locates in a vivid street, full of nice restrants and close to well known theaters, where you see what Parisians look like in an old charming street.
Metro (public transportation) is just a stone's throw away from the hotel, and it only takes you around 10 minutes to get to some of Paris' most popular landmarks, which makes Hôtel Le M a great destination for tourists.
Free wifi is fast and the hotel is quiet and clean. I like that the windows can be opened so you get the fresh air, not like most hotels that only have air conditioning.
If you like French crepes, you definitely will be well satisfied. There are great creperies nearby, that I would explore more next time I visit.
Stayin in Hôtel Le M made me feel Paris more attactive!
- Dawn (8/5): Great hotel in great location - Great hotel in great area. Friendly staff. Sadly no phone charging sockets in the room so bring the correct adaptors. Also we had no hot water on our last morning so cold / no showers which was very annoying.
- Conor R (10/5): - Lovely boutique feel to the hotel
- Anthony (8/5): Good but expensive! - The check in desk is very good as I deed is the room. The aircon was good in the bedroom but so warm in all other areas of the hotel as they never appear to turn the aircon on!
The breakfast buffet was very good but a little expensive at €20.
Lots of restaurants in the area with the Metro nearby.
- Olivier (10/5): - Moderne et bien équipé. Bien situé et confortable.
- sailifa (10/5): - Great location, I’ll definitely book again in the future. Personal is amazing.
- Christina (4/5): Not like the pictures at all! urgent refurb needed - Pros: Staff are nice and it’s a pretty good location as close to montparnasse station and lots of restaurants/bars.
Cons: it’s very dated and the decor is beyond tired. It must be photoshopped on the website as I didn’t recognise it on arrival. Like it hasn’t been renovated since the 80s. Given it’s really shabby it makes you feel it isn’t clean, I was particularly worried as the curtains and carpet are dark so seemed it was hiding a multitude of sins. The shower / toilet configuration is awkward as there isn’t much space for the door to open and the sink is separate from toilet which isn’t the most hygienic set up. Also noticed fingerprints all over the light switches so didn’t bother touching anything.
- Christopher (4/5): - Our overall experience at Hotel Le M was very disappointing. We had been informed the day of arrival that the air conditioning was broken (it had been broken for a couple days) and that it would not be fixed during the duration of our stay. We also paid extra to have the ability to cancel at any time before the day of check in. However they withheld this information from us. Hotel staff “comped us” with a fan… during our stay it was 33 everyday.
- Jessica (4/5): - The rooms are clean however the air conditioning was not working and I did not have a working access key my entire 48hr stay. The staff had to let me in my room at at 11.45pm I had to wait for over 40mins.
- Steven (2/5): No a/c, no fa, no thank you - No air conditioning and the room was probably 100 degrees. Front desk said there was a fan to help but there wasn't a fan and when I asked, they said they didn't have any more. It was so miserable, I checked out that same night and found a different hotel nearby that had a/c.
- Bijan (10/5): - Great boutique hotel in a very convenient area. We stayed twice in one week, a one night and a three night. They stored our luggage, while we travelled to other parts of Europe, which made it extremely convenient. It is only 5 minutes walk to the train station. First night, we stayed in the classic room, which was small, not in great shape, and broken AC. The last 3 nights, we paid 40 Euro per night extra and stayed in Cozy room, which was fantastic - updated with AC. Well worth the extra charge.
- Sarah (4/5): - AC wasn’t working which at 30 degrees is rough. Miserable sleep and no effort to help make the stay better.
Great location for Gare Montparnasse but I would not stay here again due to lack of AC for price paid.
- Rosy (10/5): - Very convenient area with short walk to several metro and train stations.
- Ken (6/5): - The room left much to be desired. The WC was so cramped, and no exhaust fan. The glass divider/guard of the bathtub required you to stand right at the front of the tub to shower - otherwise water splashes all over the floor outside the tub. The AC does not work.
Things that were good was the main staircase. The view from the staircase was even better than our top floor room. Also, the staff were great. All of them we interacted with were courteous and extremely helpful.
- Malcolm (10/5): Great staff - Lovely, helpful staff with courteous service. Good value for money and rooms relatively spacious (by Parisian standards).
- Elita po yin (6/5): - not what we expected flr a 4 stars property. room is much smaller and property is much dated. requested do not disturb and room got cleaned for 2 days. Light in the room is very dim and curtains are very dirty. The only up side was the location to the metro and train station
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice Hotel In Great Location - It’s within walking distance to 2 metro lines. Slightly away is the big main station.
Lots of dining options around the area, with laundromat and supermarket around the corner too.
Room is clean n nice, with a bathtub and a separate bathroom.
- Amy (8/5): - Great staff— sink was clogged and ran slow- wish it was closer to mwtro
- Steven (10/5): - We stayed the weekend in Paris. This is a nice boutique hotel. The rooms were clean and average size by European standards. The breakfast was not bad. Overall, a goo value for the money.
- Eunkyong (10/5): - Staff were kind and professional. I visit Paris often with students and this hotel has been consistently client-oriented. Great location too. Clise to several metro lines.
- Constance (10/5): - Close to the train station, Resturants outside the door, theater next door, arr. 5 or 6 makes it centrally located, breakfast buffets, special taxi can be called when you need them. Beautiful modern hotel
- Verified traveler (4/5): Desappointing - We were desappointed because we made reservation for a “comfort” room and paid extra but the room we got was just regular and didn’t match the picture of a “comfort” room from the website. Room was small. Went to ask the front desk but they said it was the same and they were all booked anyway… so why did we pay extra for “comfort”??? Doesn’t make sense!!! so if you go to this hotel you are better off just getting a regular room. It will be cheaper and you will get the same thing!
- Kaleb (10/5): - This hotel is a great location fir Paris. There are 20 restaurants all within 2 block of the property, along with the subway just 2 blocks away.
Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Very willing to provide recommendations and help. Would reccomend to anyone visiting!
- John (10/5): - Great location close to plenty of dining options and very close to the train. Room was excellent... we had two rooms at the end of the hall which had a separate door giving us a "suite-like" feel. Very nice indeed. Staff was very helpful as well helping us set up transportation options to get to the airport.
- Elisa (8/5): - The Hotel was very chic, UBER was not a problem as far as transportation. A little out of the way
- Velizara (10/5): - Wonderful! Thank you!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This hotel is in a very good location for the train station.
Rooms are very nice and spacious.
Staff are friendly and speak good English.
- Emilie (8/5): Hotel LE M my stay - Confort of the room, availability of the personnel, professionalism I recommend this place
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Convenient and clean. Rooms are spacious. Staff was helpfull
- James (8/5): Stylish hotel in a great location, with issues - Stylish Hotel in a great location. The attic room arrangement was not well thought out. The refrigerator had gin and a bottle of tonic, but the room did not have a bottle opener. Opps!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I didn’t like there were only 3 English TV channels (and they were all News channels).
I liked the location of the hotel. Plenty of good restaurants on the same street.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel is in a very busy area, but is totally quiet inside with excellent air conditioning. Very clean and nice, helpful reception staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - nice stay except the alarm sounding off at 6 AM on a Sunday
- Steven (10/5): - Very close to Gare du Montparnasse, so very easy to get around. Lots of good restaurant options and sightseeing nearby. Hotel actually has AC, which is great during a heat wave. Clean and comfortable.
- Petite4 (8/5): - The hotel, which has a sort of Josephine Baker vibe, is located near the Gare du Montparnasse in a lively, youth-oriented area and is in walking distance of Le Jardin du Luxembourg and various shopping areas. Good restaurants nearby as well. My room faced the street, yet absolutely no street noise penetrated the room.
- David (4/5): Average at best - Average maybe on a good day nothing special don’t waste your money
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Not as good as the pictures. The property is somewhat old. Non-smoking rooms have an unpleasant smell, it feels like they have been smoked in.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Central, close to train and many restaurants close by. Loved the spiral staircase and iron windows
- Herman (8/5): - experience was good
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very convenient to Gare Montparnasse and the Metro Gaiete station. The room was OK - slightly less clean than I would have preferred (a few strands of someone's hair was still on the sink in the bathroom -- eww!), and the bed was weird -- instead of a double bed there were actually two twin mattresses side by side on the boxspring -- the seam between them was pretty uncomfortable.
- Adrian (10/5): - This hotel is in a prime location for food and entertainment. The metro is only a two block distance away. Thankfully our room had a decent view of the city (facing towards the street). My minimum requirement was a place to stay, and that was met. I'm quite pleased.
- Kimberly (8/5): Solid value for a comfortable hotel. - Good value for the price. Room had everything we needed and is in a great location. As a single female I was comfortable walking at night and felt safe. Would stay here again.
- Kay (6/5): - very small room, skimper on tea/coffee, very poor natural light.
- RD (10/5): - Great room and décor. Good neighbourhood with good restaurants all down the street but not too noisy.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - A very strong smell of sewers and a dirty bathroom
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel close to the theatre area - Good hotel with easy reach of train and metro lines. Good restaurants nearby. Staff were very helpful
- Sherry (10/5): Roomy - The hotel was was well located to metro and sights in Montparnasse. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and close to many restaurants.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Conveniently located between 3 Metro stations. The room was clean, but small and the shower leaked all over the floor every day. Breakfast is expensive a la carte.
The airport shuttle listed in their website is not for pickup, only on departure, and although it says book 24 hours in advance, when I did that, it was FULLY booked and I had to take a shuttle much earlier in the morning than needed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location, friendly staff, fabulous value for money.
- mohammad (10/5): GREAT STAFF GREAT SERVICE - I didn’t like one room they immediately reallocate me to chambers room they are really helpful. Even I payed extra for breakfast but after going to breakfast the breakfast didn’t offer much halal item but the staff accommodated me different item great service
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Easy to get to from Gare Montparnasse. Foyer smelt a bit like curried eggs but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Had an issue with the kettle not working unfortunately.
- Catalina (10/5): Amazing - Le M Hotel was amazing, clean, central to train stations, great stuff. 100% recomenend it
- Verified traveler (6/5): - OK, but not exceptional. Some small issues: occasional loud noise coming from air conditioning. Room was not ready when we arrived at 4 in afternoon. Bathroom badly designed resulting in flooded floor after a shower. Some areas were not fully cleaned in room during our stay.
- Lauree (8/5): Modern hotel close to all needs - Nicely renovated hotel in accessible area! Rooms quite spacious by Paris standards. Very clean and good aircon (except when we hit a heatwave!,)
Easy walk to lots of reastaurants and Metro.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good Location - I like the location and the main reason why I chose this hotel. It’s not too far from Gare Montparnasse and le bus direct. There are many restaurants near the hotel. The room was clean and had aircon because it was a very hot sunny day. I’ll be back soon
- Nat (4/5): - Good location but not worth 4 star , it’s a joke ,
It was very stron bad smell in the lobby and continued all the way to the corridors
- Michel (10/5): - Great location and the family rooms configuration was great for our party of 4. Would definitely recommend for Family with 2 adult and 2 kids.
- Bar (8/5): - very nice
good location
little too expensive
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel - Very Nice hotel. Just 10-15 mins away from all the attractions. The night shift receptionst is super nice and very friendly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Fantastic location - The locations was great- really close to three metro stations as well as a ray of cafes that had great atmosphere in the afternoons and evenings.
Hotel staff weren’t overly friendly after initial check in. They didn’t do anything offensive rather not very welcoming when re-entering the hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nicely located with plenty to do in the immediate area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Ok Hotel in Good Neighborhood - They put us in the tiniest room because we booked through hotels.com. Staff not helpful. Mold in bathroom and shower. Hotel showing wear, needs fresh paint and a facelift. We liked the neighborhood.
