Friendly staff and all facilities throughout the stay were excellent. Good breakfast too. Nothing to add. Well got great feedback from this trip from 2 colleagues and will be using the Grange in future for our work collegues visiting London.

• Caroline Sanger-Davies (7/5): Comfortable and clean. - Very centrally located hotel - and lovely and quiet overnight. Furnishings a little tired, but couldn't fault the cleanliness. The staff were pleasant but everything took so long - at both check in and check out, and on both occasions the staff member had to call for assistance. The place felt a little tired.

• Karolina (7/5): - Spacious room and bed really comfortable. Staff were not very helpful. Asked to change rooms but was told no, that I should have requested a specific room when booking. There was no other explanation or support with this. Asked to store luggage with them but was told I could only keep it until 2pm. Never came across this before. Ground floor room - could not open windows as the fan outside kept blowing air into the room. The sheets had slits in them so the duvet kept coming out - did not feel hygienic.

• Kathy (6/5): - The staff was very friendly and the room we stayed in was very spacious. The property is within walking distance to Covent Garden, there are lots of restaurants and Cafes in the area. Our room was on the lower ground floor which made the room rather dark. Also it was quite cold. An electric heater was provided, but in spite of that it was rather chilly in the evening.

• James (1/5): Cheap for a reason, dated dirty room WiFi very slow - Location was great staff were friendly whenever I came in and out. Room was dirty and bathroom was really bad mould on the ceiling, bath is not designed to be able to have a bath hard to get in and out, windows blow cold air, bed was wonky room very dated not what I expected for 4 stars should have asked for a refund and gone to a different hotel, WiFi connected but literally did not work dipped in and out and very slow could not stream anything even social media was too slow to use. Noise from upstairs really loud, carpet on stairs all stained needs full renovation. TV too small not able to see from bed.

Servía para descargar correos electrónicos, pero era imposible mantener una reunión online o descargar un noticiario de TV. Me vi obligado a utilizar los datos de mi teléfono móvil. Por otra parte, tuve problemas para conseguir una factura a nombre de mi empresa. Había enviado un mensaje pidiéndolo y enviando los datos. Cuando llegué al establecimiento, lo recordé y me dijeron que no me preocupara, que al hacer el checkout estaría todo listo. pero no fue así. La factura estaba a mi nombre y la recepcionista no sabía cómo cambiarlo. Tuve que esperar diez minutos a que llegara una persona que sí sabía hacerlo y, como iba con prisa, perder un cuarto de hora para obtener una factura que ya había avisado me hizo llegar tarde a la cita que tenía programada. No es la primera vez que me pasa en hoteles de la cadena Grange. deberían solucionarlo y estar atentos a las solicitudes de los clientes.

• Daniel (7/5): Satisfactory base in central London, good sized rooms and quiet at night - but needs a decor upgrade - Comfortable good sized room that was quiet. Facilities are satisfactory and clean, but not modern. Location of hotel is good, close to Holborn / Russell Square attractions. Price was reasonable for central London. Decor, fixtures & features are a little old for my taste and would be improved with fresh look / paint. Breakfast was acceptable but limited fresh fruit / non-processed food options.

• Loubna (7/5): Al met al prima voor een kort verblijf als je vooral Londen wilt verkennen. - Het ligt rustig, maar toch op slechts een paar minuten afstand van winkels en het openbaar vervoer, wat erg fijn is. De kamers zijn helaas wel erg gehorig; je hoort duidelijk de bovenburen lopen en het plafond kraakt daarbij. Ook kan het tapijt wel een grondige reiniging gebruiken en het hotel zelf heeft hier en daar een opknapbeurt nodig.

• Bettina (9/5): Das Hotel ist in Jahre gekommen, das macht die Lage allerdings wett. Würden das Hotel wieder buchen. - Die Lage des Hotels ist super! In einer Parallelstraße zum Britischen Museum ist es sehr zentrumsnah. Metrostationen und Bushaltestellen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ruhige Lage. Personal freundlich. Die Fenster unseres Zimmers waren so undicht, dass wir uns gefragt haben: wie kann man hier wohnen, wenn es draußen kalt ist? Das Frühstück war sehr überschaubar. Kaffee so naja, nur weiße kleine aufgebackene Brötchen und Toast.

• Liam (6/5): Decent enough, location good, and room size great. Lots to improve on but nothing ruined our trip. - Location was good and staff helpful when needed. Basement rooms are pretty drab tbh, and in need of upgrade (ripped carpet, dirty tiles, paint touch up Etc) It was a pleasant property but no way a 4* Now having read reviews many comment on being a good budget hotel. That I agree with. A decent enough 3* for sure - no where near 4*. We didn’t try any of the restaurant food as not particularly inviting area to eat so can’t comment on that.

• Daniel Roberto (5/5): Lo mejor que tiene es la ubicación. - Sin dudas lo mejor que tiene es la ubicación. El tamaño de la habitación es muy bueno. Es un hotel viejo que en algún momento pudo haber tenido algo de categoría. Desayuno muy pobre, las toallas de baño manchadas o rotas. La calefacción muy difícil de regular, te ahogas del calor o te congelas. El baño con manchas de humedad en techo y paredes. Y la bañera con manchas viejas. Al precio que te cobran deberían darte como mínimo mejores instalaciones. Es necesario frigobar en las habitaciones.
• Josie (8/5): Excellent location in Bloomsbury, comfortable, though rooms in need of a few repairs to the decor. - Location excellent, neighbourhood quiet and bed comfortable.  Feels a cut above the many budget hotels in Bloomsbury, though see caveats below. The room was a bit cramped (tiny gap to squeeze through between the bed and luggage rack, and the kettle fixed to a shelf inside the wardrobe!).  The decor was somewhat spoiled by scuffs to the paintwork, a rusty hole in the enamel in the bathtub, and water damage to the paintwork on the bathroom door.   Some repairs could restore this to the standard that the hotel deserves.  Reception insisted on taking a deposit from my credit card even though I indicated there would be no extras.  Breakfast is expensive - better to go to a nearby cafe.

• Giovanni (4/5): Hotel da evitare per quello che costa - La posizione è l'unica nota positiva L'hotel si presenta esternamente bene ma le camere lascianocmoltomandesiderare e hanno bisogno di notevole manutenzione: Il riscaldamento di 2 stanze su 3 non funziona e se funziona non è regolabile La moquette presentein tutti i piani ed in camera è polverosa e l'aria talvolta è pesante e poco respirabile Le rifiniture della stanza sono del tutto da riprendere (carta da parati scollata, finestre di legno rovinate e slaccate, le tende macchiate, le scrivanie di legno con solchi o macchie )

• paola (6/5): Buena ubicación pero estancia regular - Bien ubicado, limpio, staff muy amable. Muy amplia la habitación y el baño. Las camas y las almohadas muy muy incómodas y el aire acondicionado no servía y aunque fueron a arreglarlo aún no servía y no era posible cambiarnos de habitación por no haber disponibilidad pero no buscaron ninguna solución ni tuvieron ninguna atención para con nosotros. Dormimos con las ventanas abiertas por suerte el clima estaba bastante fresco.

• Howard (8/5): A good hotel for location and size of rooms (that we booked), staff were accommodating and polite. - The hotel was picked due to location. The room was large and clean. We were lucky we were on the second floor with a garden view, so this was really peaceful. For once I felt like I could walk around the room with no shoes or socks, my feet were still clean. Shower pressure was very good. Bed was very large, which was nice. It was also nice to be able to open the windows and let the fresh air in. The room was tired, cracks in the sink and the covering/enamel of the bath coming away. The windows could do with a rub down and paint. The bathtub was very slim and uncomfortable having a bath. Pillows felt hard and so did the bed after our second night. It would have been nice to have had a smart TV where we could have accessed Netflix or Prime, but it was just the standard TV programmes, unless I missed something. Room was far too hot, staff were informed and heating turned off.

La ubicación de la habitación qué nos asignaron en el semisotano y sobre todo el comedor donde se desayuna es muy pequeño y es insuficiente para dar servicio a este hotel y a clientes del hotel contiguo del mismo grupo que también lo.utilizan y teniendo que esperar a que se queden mesas libres para poder desayunar.

Very complète and fois breakfast When we arrived, the receptionist told us breakfast was not included although we had booked it. Next morning, we mentioned it to the new receptionist and she confirmed breakfast was included. So no issue at the end

But bad experience with customer service and don’t think it was worth what we paid. - Location was ideal and very central, room was big and spacious The Room we got was not what we had paid for. We paid for a room with 2 king size beds which is what the room description said as well but ended up with a room that had 1 king size bed and 1 sofa bed. Sofa bed was so uncomfortable that you could feel the springs underneath it. We were only staying for 2 nights and we complained about it as soon as we got in but they said there were no other rooms available and when we said could we get some money back they said no because apparently we had been upgraded to the most expensive room in the hotel but never asked for that we just wanted to have 2 beds we didn’t care about how big the room was. Also the room was unbearably warm, the air con didn’t work and the windows were flimsy when trying to leave open for some air to come through.

Le personnel est sympa Je ne sais pas si les chambres sont identiques mais la nôtre.ne valait pas le 4 étoiles. Fenêtres anciennes qui ne ferment pas, non insonorisées, un matelas ancien, une salle de bain vétuste et même pas de sèche-cheveux ! Et vraiment point négatif, beaucoup de tâches sur les couettes , draps.
