All facilities are good but very Old styled
The suites are good n big enough.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful and is very quiet. Everyone in the hotel is amazing. The restaurant is amazing room service is amazing After I leave. I would probably come back here again and stay for a month or two thank you for the great service.

- James (10/5): - Very elegant and inviting. Excellent security.
- Dianna (10/5): - We always enjoy our stays at Kantary House. A great place to stay
- Rob (6/5): - Kantary is not located in a tourist area so don’t expect anything like Silom or Sukhumvit in terms of vibe, restaurants etc. Which suited us just fine. It has its pro’s and con’s.
It is conveniently located relative to the airport which was a key factor for us.
The hotel itself is VERY dated. The whole feel of the place is very 1970’s/80’s.
The room we had was a two bedroom spacious, give it that, but I think we were the first people that had stayed in it for a long time. The kitchen and parts of the room were a bit grotty but the bathrooms and beds were ok. I wouldn’t use the kitchen facilities to cook anything, and I wouldn’t sit on the sofa/chairs in the living room without a plastic sheet.
Check in was efficient and staff polite without doing anything more than they needed. Be prepared to lug your own bags from your taxi to reception and your room as Theo’s guys must have been at lunch when we arrived.
All in all, ok but we checked out the next day and moved to somewhere far more pleasant.
- PUTHENPURAYIL (10/5): - The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff were really helpful and I would recommend this to anyone
- Grant (10/5): - we stay here often, the hotels a little older but very clean and quiet, the staff are outstanding and the resturant has a wide range of food, tasty and reasonalby priced.
i recomend this hotel in the area
- Jens Peter (10/5): - Overall nice place with large rooms. Good pool, nice breakfast and good possibilities for dining. Large mall in walking distance. This place is super for long and short term stay.
- utcharee (10/5): - Friendly staff
- GARRY (6/5): Showing its age. - Room description on Hotels.com had some errors, however staff did upgrade room to fix. Property is showing its age and service was not as good as other hotels from this brand.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel and awesome staff but there were some things I didn’t like. The pool was too cold and my kids could hardly swim in it. Too many bugs and lizards in the hotels. More pest control needed. Great breakfast buffet offerings and great housekeeping staff.
- James (10/5): Favorite Hotel in Bangkok - We always stay at the Kantary House when we visit Bangkok annually. Great foodxand customer service in every area. Location is 15 minutes away by taxi from Suvarnabhumi airport too. Really enjoy their executive lounge too.
- Lynn (10/5): Pete from spain - We had a very nice stay in this hotel. Close to the airport and we found it to have very good facilities. The staff were extremely friendly and were always willing to help. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The local area is off the tourist track but we needed a hotel to stay in over night before flying out next morning and this one was ideal. I would recommend this hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice serviced apartment/hotel room. There were many choices for the breakfast buffet including authentic Thai selections. Your eggs are cooked to order. The restaurant had a diverse menu including Japanese/Thai and Western cuisine and a very attentive and pleasant staff.
There are very nice amenities: an enclosed ground level lounge with light refreshments 24/7, daily maid service, restaurant, outdoor pool, fitness center, hot tub, sauna and steam room.
There was a problem at check-in due to that the hotel had not been notified of our arrival by Expedia.com. The hotel gave us access to an apartment while they corrected a communication problem and verified that our 4 day reservatiom had been paid in full prior to our arrival.
- Stephan (8/5): - Very good place with a good restaurant at affordable prices. Large room with separate living room. Only point to improve would be the relative hard madras however some may like it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good solid hotel. - Good hotel. Exactly what was required. Would recommend to anyone.
- Verified traveler (8/5): A good option near Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital - We like to stay here with our 2 small kids whenever we have medical appointments at Samitivej Srinakarin. The one bedroom suite is spacious, the pool is clean and nice, the restaurant is suitable, and the Mall Bangkapi is a 15 minute walk.
- Jayvee (10/5): Safe and confortable place - I booked the room for my son who was travelling for a sports tournament. Thank you for keeping him safe and comfortable all those three nights.
- James (8/5): Nice hotel to have a quite stay. - Nice hotel to have a quite stay. But a bit out in no where.
- Dennis (4/5): Old hotel in need of upgrades - This is a old hotel / serviced apartment primarily use for Japanese workers on short term assignments in Thailand. As such, expect smoking odors, lack of upgrades, low quality food in restaurant, The new addition within the past 5 years is in need of significatnt upgrades as well.
So many better hotels in the area to choose from at similar rates
- /Vaishali (10/5): - Very Nice Hotel. Very Friendly staff, clean rooms and safe for women. All is well !!!
- dennis (4/5): Old old residence hotel - Well past it’s useful life, even with upgrades the property is still lacking. Restaurant staff poorly trained.
- Grant (8/5): nice and comfortable - We have stayed here a few times, nice large comfortable apartment rooms, always clean and tidy.
- Davide (8/5): Nice hotel - Nice hotel good distance from airport easy to get to and from Bangkok city
- Alexander (8/5): Quick stay - Good Hotel and communications, lovely brackfast
- Verified traveler (8/5): Overall it was okay! - Overall it was okay but the mattress for a bed is a bit hard and made me uncomfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable value stay with good restaurant - The stay was comfortable. The restaurant catered great food at good prices. The only downside to the stay was that maintenance work was being done in a room nearby from 9am making it impossible to rest during the daytime.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - Just a short stay as we were attending a concert at Hua Mark. Nice hotel that was a good base for us. Food was also good.
- George (8/5): Nice place, close to airport but not downtown. - The room was nice and the breakfast was excellent. Having the two bedrooms and two bathrooms was great. The only issue was that is was not very close to downtown.
- Robert (10/5): Good place to stay - A nice hotel close to the airport. The rooms were modern and clean. The Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful and I would stay again.
- Patrick (6/5): Kantary House stsy - Staff were friendly but spoke very little English.
Location was not great either, eg public transport like train and boat.
- vinnie (2/5): very disappointed - Well what can I say, first of all I booked a Room on line telling me what this Hotel had to offer, King size bed, pool side views and breakfast. But!! what it should of said, Single bed for you and the wife, No Pool views and no mini bar, and should you want to leave your room take care in the hall way as the cleaners will have all the sheets towels ect, in the hall way.
If you go to the pool? I hope you like drinking hot beer!
- Mr (6/5): Overnight stop - We chose this hotel due to its close proximity to the airport, which in bad traffic still took us almost an hour to get to. Rooms we booked werent available, so we were upgraded to a one bedroomed suite, the hotel is fine for short stays as their is very little nearby.
- Stefanie (10/5): - Value: Amazing, upgraded us;
upgraded us to 2 bedroom apartment, really lovely place with great pool and gym
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice Hotel close to Airport - Kantary House is a nice hotel to stay at if you have a connecting flight the following day. It's a very clean, modern hotel with complimentary breakfast. I would stay here again if we had a layover in Bangkok.
- Mriette (10/5): Great Place - Kantary House is a great place to stay if you are looking for something near the airport that also has shopping nearby. Bankapi Mall is across the street and through a parking lot....a five minute walk at most. Just take the sky walkway nearest to the hotel and then turn right and turn into the mall parking lot- there is a sign in English. The mall is huge with stores that Thai people shop at- not just real expensive stores.
The hotel is wifi in the public areas.....the business lounge is very nice ....offers free snacks and beverages all day. The breakfast is excellent- both Eastern and Western choices.
The room we stayed in was in the new section. An excellent bathroom as well as main area. I appreciated the hot water thermos.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kantary House Ramkaenghang.
A great restaurant that serves fushion food in a great lake view is Ruenos in the nearby neighbourhood of Sammakorn. It is about 20 minutes by taxi. Wonderful food.....you must try the Beef Tacos and the prawns in fruit and lime mayo!
