• Kevin (10/5): A really comfortable hotel in a great location - excellent value for money! - Location is first class - a quiet area, but only 10 - 15 mins from the Charles Bridge, and <100m from a tram stop. The latter is very useful indeed - Prague's trams are great, and free for older users. The lines from the nearby stop are useful ones, and it is very easy to change for a trickier journey. Breakfast is fine - not much fruit (this is middle Europe, not the Med...), but nice hot stuff and pastries. Coffee machine may need upgrading perhaps... Reception staff are well-turned out (no jeans and tee-shirts as seems trendy) and were very helpful indeed. Room was a good size, with a decent (easy to use) shower, and proper shampoo etc in bottles - a welcome change from the fairy-liquid in a vat attached to the wall, so common nowadays. Good regular cleaning - none of the spurious green nonsense so often used by the big chains as an excuse for irregular and inadequate cleaning. There was also a great choice of channels on the TV in many languages, and very nicely-decorated public areas, with a lovely roof-terrace. I really liked this hotel - a refreshing change from the usual chain-type product, and will certainly consider staying here again when visiting Prague. Well-done all round to the staff and management! Nothing!

A wide variety of choices is offered at breakfast. We chose the double bed and had two small quilts inadequate to cover us, the curtain is not eye-catching and we were woken up by daylight.

• MabuhayNYC (8/5): Great small hotel in a convenient location - The breakfast was excellent, and the location was great. The common room was nice and cozy. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near all the sights and is situated in a quieter part of the city. Really enjoyed that side of the city. Room facing opposite side of the street was quiet. However, the room conditions were average. The standard room we had was quite basic and could use some improvements. The furniture in the rooms was motel-style, which didn’t quite match the coziness of the lobby area. We could also hear people moving bags and furniture because there wasn’t carpet on the floors. I would recommend this hotel for the location, the great breakfast and staff but not so much for the standard rooms.

Fenster zur Straße könnten einen besseren Schallschutz bieten.

• Menace3001 (10/5): Great hotel. Would stay here if we were in Prague again - The hotel is well situated and everything really walkable. We were normally in the central part of the town within 15 minutes. Leisurely walk 20-25. The hotel breakfast was varied and plentiful and tasty. Lift was quick. Nice roof bar which is simple and service is at reception and you take the drinks up to the bar. Rooms are very comfortable and everything you need. Our AC was a bit noisy on and off when I clicked in but I was being woken up with the husband snoring so that was the least of my problems. All in all everything we hoped and needed and we would go back. Thank you staff

Bed war sehr bequem, Polster waren zahlreich vorhanden. Frühstück bietet alles was das Herz begehrt. Lift vorhanden. Parkplatz im Hinterhof ist sehr sicher. (Videoüberwacht durch Hotellobby). Schminkspiegel ohne Licht und der Spiegel im Bad für Frauen ist zu hoch montiert.

Hotel je mimo tramavaje, ovšem na hlavní silnici s nepřetržitou dopravou ve dne v noci. S lehkým spánkem se usíná hůře.

• Marshall (10/5): Convenient, clean, friendly, visually interesting. - The property has the updated elegance of an old palace or old school, Hotel. It is conveniently located just a block from the tram lines that basically will take you anywhere you want to go in Prague. The neighborhood that it sits in is relatively quiet yet just blocks away from the noise and bluster of the city. Nothing. They did an excellent job.

• lezzdothis (10/5): So happy I Czech'd into the Julian. - The hotel itself is nicely situated, within walking distance of Old Town and most major attractions. There is an old world charm to it. A lovely library with soft music playing (even the occasional Christmas song will slip in, regardless of the time of year). Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, with the spread changing every day. There's a beautiful spa underground which is very affordable to book as well as a nice rooftop terrace with views of the surroundings. Above all, though, I must commend the staffer Zuzana who, from the moment I arrived, was a bubbly delight. She greeted me with a welcome drink and took the time to talk through the hotel's location and its proximity to the sights. She walked me through the spa prior to my appointment, brought me a glass of Prosecco when I arrived. Even on my last day, she set me up with a cab to the airport when I had trouble hailing an Uber. Her upbeat personality was always welcome to return to, to the point where my friends and I would always hope to find her whenever we entered or exited. A wonderful stay.

Room is perfectly sized and housekeeping does a fine job. Breakfast room is everything everyone else is writing about -- you don't need to eat until dinner, but who could resist Prague's cafes?

Very nice rooftop terrasse. Great breakfast. Good bed. Great price value for Prague. I booked directly on their website. No reason to complain and we like to complain ;-)

About a 20-30 mins walk to old town with plenty to see on the way.

• Hugo (10/5): This is a gem - This hotel is a gem! I highly recommend it. The location is perfect, walking distance (or short tram trip) to main touristic places but it is not in the middle of old town where things get a bit crowded, loud and expensive. Near the hotel you will have tram stations, restaurants and supermarkets. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, the whole hotel is spotless. I feel that they thought about everything. There is a terrace with a wonderful sight of the city, a small cozy library to enjoy and relax after a hectic day, free lockers and bathrooms in case you arrive early or after you check out and no longer have access to the room and need a place to put your bags. The staff was wonderful as well, they make you feel at home. Breakfast area is a bit small and it may a little congested during peak hours but nothing you can’t survive with a bit of patience.

Der Nachmittagstee in der Bibliothek ist inklusive und ein Muss. Die Lage ist für jede Art der Stadterkundung optimal. In 15 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in derAltstadt und an der Karlsbrücke. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist angenehm überschaubar, frisch und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Immer wieder gerne.

Au calme et bien situé pour visiter Prague à pied (5min du parc de Petrin et sa "tour Eiffel" , 30min du pont Charles, 40min du château) ou avec les moyens de transport à proximité (200m) Bonne insonorisation entre les chambres. Tout le personnel (réception, service, ...) est accueillant et serviable. Un service de bagagerie au top pour l'arrivée ou le départ est aussi disponible Très bon petit déjeuner sucré et salé. Une consommation de bienvenue offerte et en plus un tea-time est proposé chaque jour. RAS

• Johann (10/5): Sehr gutes Hotel für einen Pragtrip - Wir waren mit 3 Personen unter dem Dach in der Suite, für uns war der Platz völlig ausreichend, die Betten waren bequem und alles war perfekt sauber. Da die Dachterrasse um 10pm geschlossen wird, hatten wir keine Probleme mit Lärm. Auch die leisen Straßengeräusche waren für uns nicht störend. Für 4 Personen wäre es in einem der Betten etwas kuschelig. Der Aufzug fährt bis in den 4. Stock, danach ist es noch eine Treppe. Parkplatz sollte man vorreservieren, da die plätze im Hinterhof begrenzt sind. Die öffentlichen Parkplatze und andere Anbieter sind meist teurer und nicht direkt am Hotel (außer man hat Glück). Kostenfreie Parkplätze gibt es nicht. Die 2 Min. entfernte Tram fährt entlang der Moldau, so dass man praktisch alle Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht erreichen kann. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und mit exzellenten Details versehen, die man sonst nicht oft bekommt. Herausragend ist das super hilfsbereite und immer freundliche Hotelpersonal. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Lediglich die Obstauswahl beim Frühstück könnte üppiger sein.

The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and welcoming -not pretentious, but truly heartfelt. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, making you feel genuinely cared for. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, with great attention to detail. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with a lovely homemade touch. Little extras like afternoon tea with pastries and cozy lounge areas make the stay even more special. The location is perfect -close to the city center, yet quiet and peaceful, allowing you to fully relax after exploring Prague. A truly charming and atmospheric place that you want to come back to. Highly recommended -it really feels like the best, just like home.

• Estelle (9/5): Parfait pour visiter Prague - Très belle chambre, bon matelas, baignoire. Bel hôtel superbement bien placé. Le personnel nous a donné de très bonnes recommandations de restaurants. Buffet du petit-déjeuner très bon, mais pas exceptionnel.

• Lee-Anne (10/5): Beautiful hotel a short distance from main attractions - Located in a quieter district (perfect for us) and a short walk (10-15mins) into the busier areas. Large rooms that were spotless and a lovely breakfast included. Nothing!

• Edurne M. (7/5): - Lo limpio y nuevo que está todo. Cerca hay muchos restaurantes y cafetería que facilitan la estancia. A unos 15 minutos de la playa. Que no haya persianas y con la luz que entra por los laterales de la cortinas, no he podido dormir bien. Es una pena porque por lo demás está muy bien. Pero el descanso es muy importante en vacaciones, por eso la puntuación no es tan alta.
• ANNE (8/5): A proximité de tout - La localisation de l'hébergement est idéale, proximité du centre et des parcs réseaux de transport (tram) a proximité permettant de rallier facilement tout point de la ville. Personnel très chaleureux, souriant et à l'écoute des demandes/besoins. Le bémol pourrait être au niveau de l'insonorisation vis à vis de l'extérieur mais la rue étant calme cela n'est pas vraiment gênant. Petit déjeuner complet et de qualité pouvant éventuellement manquer de fruits frais en fonction de l'horaire d'arrivée en salle.
