I booked for my Guest, she not able to travel due to visa issues but this hotel charged full four days and no response even though cancelled before checkin and pay at the property was chosen.

- 114anwarj (2/5): Unauthorised Charge of Funds - Dear Hotel Team, I am from Canada and currently residing in the UAE. I booked your hotel through Booking.com for a guest who was supposed to stay at your property from 20 to 24. Unfortunately, due to visa delay issues, the guest was unable to travel. The booking was cancelled before check-in. However, despite selecting on-property payment and free cancellation, the full amount was deducted from our account. I contacted Booking.com, and after reviewing my case, they confirmed that it is genuine. They requested the hotel management to process the refund and also advised us to contact the hotel directly, as the refund can only be processed by the hotel. Accordingly, I visited the hotel in person and spoke with the front desk team, but unfortunately they were not supportive. I came with all relevant documentation, including proof of the visa delay. Upon speaking with the General Manager, Mr. Ikrami, I was informed that the Revenue Manager is responsible for handling this matter. Through this message, I kindly request the Revenue Manager to please process our refund, as the booking was cancelled before check-in and met all free cancellation conditions. We are your customers, and your support in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to a positive response.
