The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The hotel is in a prime spot for the Patpong/Silom area and a walkable distance to MBK shopping centre. Our check-in was delayed for about 4 hours due to the room type I booked and previous guests having a late checkout. However the hotel provided us with bonus access to their VIP Club Lounge for the duration of our stay as compensation.

Dieter the GM has done an incredible job with the hotel, staff, and experiences staying here. He started up a rooftop social hour on Wed evening, and the roof has art pieces from various local artists, great food, drinks, and staff. Hopefully this will continue moving forward and continue to grow. The lounge staff was also excellent. I asked for an espresso martini, and Pluem made an excellent one for me, even though it was her first time making one. Pio and Yelly were also incredibly friendly and incredible hostesses, providing things you need even before you realize you need them. When you stay more than over 100 nights a year in a hotel, it is really a pleasure to stay somewhere that offers everything that you would want…

JA1628 (10/5): The Mojito - Wow—what a great hotel. Where do I even begin? My partner and I stayed at Le Meridien Bangkok a few years ago, and I still can’t stop thinking about it. Well, we finally made it back!! We’re both Marriott Bonvoy members (my partner was Titanium for a while), so we’ve stayed at quite a few Marriott properties—but this one is, without question, our favorite. (The JW Marriott in Hanoi is a close runner-up!) Here’s why Le Meridien Bangkok stands out as the BEST of the BEST: Club Lounge:  The lounge is FANTASTIC! Elite members can have breakfast there (though the buffet at Tempo downstairs is also one of the best Marriott breakfasts I’ve ever had). Service in the lounge, however, is phenomenal, and food is offered in the lounge multiple times throughout the day. Honestly, it’s hard to leave. I overheard another guest joking, “We didn’t come to Bangkok just to stay in the lounge all day”—but we were all guilty of it. The food is just that good. The Thai Mojito (and Name):  The highlight of the hotel? The mojito—crafted by one of the most gracious, humble, and sincere Marriott staff members I’ve ever met… whose name is actually “Name.” Name makes the BEST mojitos I’ve ever had in my life—which is saying something, because mojitos are my go-to drink. I don’t even like to drink much, but gosh—I love a good mojito. What stayed with me even more, however, was Name’s reaction when I told him he made the best mojitos I’ve ever had. His response was so genuine and full of gratitude—it truly touched my heart. He is, without a doubt, one of the kindest and most authentic souls you’ll meet. Thank you, Name, for sharing your hospitality with us. Your Thai mojitos were unforgettable. No matter where my journey takes me, I’ll always think of Le Meridien Bangkok whenever I sip a mojito. Rooftop & Leadership:  This leads to what really makes this hotel special: the people. A huge thank you to Christian (Food & Beverage Director) and Naruewat (“Nas”), Executive Assistant Manager of Rooms. Their leadership is clearly felt throughout the hotel. They’re incredibly hands-on, present, and genuinely engaged with guests. We saw them multiple times every day to personally checking in with the guests. They don’t hide behind desks—they know their guests. Even as someone who tends to keep to myself, every interaction with them felt natural—like catching up with old friends. One night, Nas personally invited us (and other guests) to a rooftop event—and it was unforgettable. Christian’s vision for the rooftop space is amazing. There were art nights, special food and drinks, music, and experiences that made us feel incredibly valued as guests. What’s most impressive is that their passion doesn’t feel corporate—it feels real. They genuinely love what they do, and it shows in every detail. Because of them, I’ve never felt more like a VIP at any hotel. From the bottom of my heart—thank you. Cleanliness:  A special thank you to our housekeeper, Nok—such a kind and lovely person. The room was absolutely spotless every single day. She knew just how to make me smile every time we passed in the hall. The Suite:  And finally—OMG. Book the suite.  JUST. DO. IT. Summary:  Although Le Meridien Bangkok is my favorite hotel in the world, it’s the little things that stay with you. (For example, I still remember “Pinmook’s Pancakes” from a trip to Koh Samui years ago.) And I will NEVER forget Name’s Thai mojito.

The lighting and blinds of the room really set the mood because of the ability to customize. The bathroom is resort level, with fabulous tube that allows you to see the view of the city and shower that feels like a spa.

Nitchamon (8/5): Nice place, nice staff. A bit difficult to travel without a personal car. - The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I was particularly impressed with few foreign staffs (one Japanese and one African American, I believe). The Japanese staff understood my continued booking situation quickly and assured that my stay would be comfortable. The African-American was so fun and friendly every time I ran into him. Thanks to both of them, I had an impressive vacation. I wish staff team had more with-in team communication so that I didn’t have to repeat my cont. booking situation every time I talked to different people. Or if they had communication, I wish they reassured me that my request was received and would be resolved accordingly. For example, I requested to Thai young staff around noon that I wanted my room cleaned for new check-in before my husband’s arrival with our continued booking in the same room type. I waited in that room at least one hour but no one arrived nor confirmed my request so I had to contact the front staff again to send someone to clean the room. The situation was a bit frustrating.

jirowaters (8/5): Le Meridien Bangkok - Exception Service - Le Meridien Bangkok is a well run hotel in the center of Bangkok’s Silom area. Having seen in many times, I was always curious to stay, so I did. The hotel has been here for quite sometime, but is well maintained. Being a platinum member, I also had access to the buffet breakfast and club lounge. The buffet breakfast was decent, both in service and food variety. The club lounge service was exceptional, the staff are so welcoming and engaging - I was thoroughly impressed – it was the highlight of my stay at the hotel. I actually stayed twice in about a two week period. A few issues: 1) the hotel is quite warm, I actually stayed in 3 different rooms (over two separate stays) because I asked them to change my first room because it was too hot – however, the second room while slightly cooler definitely wasn’t anywhere near the 17 degree Celsius I had set temperature at, I found third room also warmer than I would have liked; 2) the hotel caters to clientele from Japan, which may explain why their beds are all extremely hard by western standards. I finally had to ask for a topper, which did help, but I still would have preferred the beds to be slightly softer. The pool and gym are well maintained, however the gym frequently was missing or ran out of regular exercise towels, and the pool while fine, is on the smaller side. I will also note, and it was something I was aware of when I chose to stay here, but the hotel is right smack dab in the middle of Bangkok’s redlight district (may not be a preferable location for people with kids). Thus, when you walk to most places, to include the skytrain station, you will be approached by people trying to entice you into coming to watch one of Bangkok’s many adult entertainment shows. While this didn’t bother me per se, it does get a bit old, and for that reason and the other reasons above I probably wouldn’t stay here again - although the rack rate at this property is usually very good given its solid reputation and overall higher-end feel. I have to reiterate, I really did love the lounge and the lounge staff, and the service at the hotel is overall was fantastic, it just isn’t quite my favorite hotel nor location in Bangkok to stay for a vacation.

As a frequent traveller, i enjoy hoping hotels, exploring the hidden gems in and around hotels and find the uniqueness of each one. Le meridien has a normal lobby experience, but their lounge service hospitality is second to none. They remember you, your preference, and genuinly really considerate of each hotel guests interests. If you have been here agree with me, give a thumbs up as well. Unlike other hotels, the staff here, name Jimmy and Yelly stood out as staffs i would recommend to anyone. From the first day, they put the guest priority and greets me warmly. Bring me warm water, offers me some snack, (which i knownits there), and many small gestures that would make me feel comfortable. Altough they are taking care a lot of guests, i feel that both has done a very good job to take care of me and other guest. This hotel would definitely be one of the top hotel i will visit in the future.

192edx (10/5): Just WOW - I’m Canadian and have travelled throughout North America and Asia and I already know the service in Asia vs North America is a completely different ballgame, even for a brand like Marriott, where they’re “supposed” to keep it consistent. With the “expectation” of receiving great service in a club lounge in Asia, the service provided by the staff at Le Méridien is simply mind blowing and above and beyond. The attentiveness of the staff is honestly unreal (I don’t even get that kind of service at a nice restaurant back home let alone cocktail hour at a hotel club lounge). Jommy (I think he’s the lead as far as serve staff wise? nilschristanf (10/5): Best service and breakfast in town - I keep on coming back to Le Meridien every time I go there for business or vacation. There are many good reasons for that, but first and foremost the fantastic service from an amazing staff! Everyone in the staff are just so kind and helpful, excellent Consierge service and personal service from K. Jam and last but not least the hotel manager Dieter who takes very good care of his guests. The breakfast is top notch with a wide variety ranging from healthy juices and fresh fruits to 🇮🇹 Italian home made ice cream! And of course the omelettes they make with your preferred filling. The gym and pool is also worth mentioning! I’ll be back!

We booked a club room and it really was worth the extra cost; free unlimited wine, nibble and cocktails from 5 to 7, intimate space for breakfast and delicious afternoon tea. The staff here really are wonderful!

My stay here was absolutely flawless from start to finish. The location is simply unbeatable—right in the heart of the city, making it so easy to explore all the main attractions. However, despite being so central, our room was incredibly quiet and offered breathtaking views. Waking up to that panorama was the highlight of my trip. The service throughout the hotel is top-notch, but I have to give a very special mention to Pio, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Her warm personality and attention to detail really stood out and made us feel like VIPs. The breakfast spread was phenomenal—a huge variety of fresh, delicious options to suit every taste. And if you have access to the lounge, you are in for a treat! The evening offerings were generous and the staff up there were just as attentive. If you are looking for a place with great service, a perfect location, and incredible food, look no further. We will definitely be back!

Mobile47857111299 (10/5): Preferred Marriott Bonvoy property in Bangkok - Location: Surrounding area is a little dodgy, but just a short walk will bring you to Dusit Central Park and Park Silom area which is more upscale with BTS stations. Do not try the massage place right opposite called Urban Thai. Its not a massage, they just slather oil on you for 1h and the price is much more expensive that other outlets. Rooms: Bed and sofa is comfortable, room is spacious, shower water pressure is good. Food: Lounge food and drinks during creative hour in the lounge is mostly good. Good for business travellers as you do not need to think whats for dinner. Service: Excellent service from lounge staff Pio! She makes you feel welcomed the minute you step in, and have a cheerful demeanour, engaging with all guests and acknowledging them.
erichL1714FC (10/5): Wonderful experience at the Le Meriden Bangkok - I had access to the lounge on the 24th floor because of my Bonvoy status. The service on the lounge was incredible. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, and the food options were absolutely delicious. The staff were just amazing. I want to especially call out a gentleman by the name of Johnny Martin who went above and beyond to really make me comfortable and provided great service. I have to say that I chose this hotel based on my association with Bonvoy and I didn’t know much about it, but would definitely come back. The experience from the check-in through my stay has really been wonderful.
