Dimitrios (8/5): pleasant stay. nothing really to complain about. - Great location. Close to Shunjiku station, shops etc. Area is a bit lively with bars and clubs below, but not too noisy. Staff upgraded us to executive suit for no extra charge, which was a pleasant surprise. toilet seat was a bit warm for my liking, but others might enjoy it..haha!

There were always a bunch of men situated in the street close to the hotel that will try to talk me up each time I came in and out of my hotel which made me very uncomfortable. They looked Like they were ip to no good. The hotel itself was okay, it did have a distinct sewage smell that I didn’t like. Personally will never stay here again.

Puja (1/5): Would not recommend to anyone for the price. - Nothing Absolutely horrible property that was unclean. We changed rooms twice and in both instances, airconditioning did not work and there were horrid black stains in the toilet bowl. The sink was continuously clogged. The property is also in a pretty unsafe and unsavoury part of Shinjuku. Beds are tiny (smaller than a Queen) and room is extremely dusty.

Vincenzo (5/5): non consiglio il posto - posizione centrale, hall bella spaziosa e gradevole, peccato le camere non erano all'altezza la posizione è molto incasinata, davanti all'hotel ti trovi molti nordafricani che cercano di proporti la qualunque dalla droga alla prostituzioni con donne giapponesi ecc. Questa cosa ci ha disturbato abbastanza. Lo staff è stato poco accogliente. In fase di checkin, senza tener conto della stanchezza del viaggio, ci hanno fatto compilare tanti documenti digitali. Hanno provato in due fasi di farci registrare al loro sito per ricevere newsletter o altro, abbiamo rifiutato, in quanto non interessati e in una successiva fase ci flaggano altre caselle in cui diamo la nostra autorizzazione a inviarci email o altro. Questo è molto scorretto! deve essere detto chiaramente e non provarci con tranelli!

Thomas (8/5): Comfortable stay in a great location - The location was amazing close to Shinjuku station and golden gai. Despite the hotel being in a busy area you still couldn’t hear anything from the room. The room we were in was on the smaller side, but good trade off for the location.

G6160AUcraigd (10/5): Outstanding location and a lovely hotel. - Location, location, location. Right in the middle of bustling Shinjuku with the Golden Gai pub strip directly behind the hotel. Actually, it is smack bang in the red light district but that made it all the more exciting and interesting. Within close walking distance, we accessed train terminals, the Love Statue (for two tours), the Cat Board, Godzilla and countless restaurants and bars. There was a Lawsons convenience store on the ground floor and a Seven-11 10m down the road. We chose the Citadines because the room sizes looked more than adequate. Our room was excellent and big for Tokyo standards. Two king single beds, excellent pillows and a bath tub with separate shower too. Of course the toilet had all the bells and whistles of a Japanese toilet too. A big plus were the free amenities, the delicious coffee bags and tea varieties available and a totally awesome and free coffee machine in the foyer. Harry, at the front desk, spoke perfect English and helped us check in and out without a glitch. My only little gripe is that the breakfast at ¥19500 is really quite ordinary with limited selection. Two rounds of excellent sandwiches at Lawson’s is less than ¥500. However, despite this one insignificant issue, I would recommend the Citadines Central Shinjuku for anyone who like excellent hotel facilities and locations and also really wants to see Tokyo and the nightlife. Two thumbs up guys!!

Nicole (10/5): Ótima - O quarto é muito espaçoso, o banheiro também. A localização é incrível. O atendimento é ótimo. A região é muito bem servida de bares e restaurantes. A noite a região pode ser estranha, mas nada que mudasse nossa opinião em relação ao hotel.

Micky128398 (10/5): Great Central Location - We are thoroughly enjoying our stay here at Citadines Central in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo! On arrival the Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly and although we arrived prior to official check in time (3.00pm), our room was available. We booked a Twin Studio Club room (the largest available / located on the 14th Floor) and were very glad we did. Like most hotels in Japan the rooms are quite small and with 3 suitcases etc anything smaller would have been a real squeeze! There is a self service laundry on site with several washing machines and dryers and the prices are very reasonable! There is an ice and water machine on each floor. The bathroom is (given the size of the room) quite spacious - with seperate toilet, shower/bath and twin hand basins. There is good bench space for toiletries etc. Location is great and within relatively easy walking distance of the Shinjuku Train station. There is no shortage of eating options! Overall a great place to stay during a visit to Tokyo!!

Jim (6/5): Just ok - Good central location Generally looks a bit tired . Breakfast was expensive with limited selection. Rather than waiting till check out or after the meal I was interrupted while selecting food quite rudely to require immediate payment for breakfast .

Jiuan (10/5): Amazing! - Customer service that's above the hotel's grade level. In particular, Quynh and Niu, the Vietnamese and Thai ladies, went above and beyond to help me in a city that doesn't speak my languages. I'll return! Minor: the hotel doesn't have a gym or pool on site, nor does it partner with one within walking distance.
Ryan (8/5): Perfect for a short stay in Tokyo! - Location was great, right in the centre of the action. However, rooms were very quiet and we slept well there. City room was very small, I am sure this is standard for central Tokyo hotels but was very noticeable. Especially, with one side of the bed against a wall.

The bed was also small for 2 adults but comfortable. We chose not to eat breakfast. It was very basic with little options.

xavierpZ5012KT (2/5): Breakfast cheaters. This is not a 4 star hotel. - Poor show. Group of 16. We paid for breakfast. Had a tour at 7.45 am at shibuya. Requested for a packed breakfast for the group. They refused. And instead asked us to pay 1700 yen . Also the hotel is not a 4 star as advertised.
Rosella (9/5): Ancora una volta al Citadines Central Shinjiku - Il mio quinto viaggio in Giappone che inizia e finisce sempre con qualche giorno al Citadides Central Shinjuku! La posizione e la gentilezza del personale sono sicuramente dei punti forti, che ci hanno fatto affezionare alla struttura. Andrebbe fatta un po' di manutenzione alla moquette nei corridoi e stanze, e controllare che ad esempio le mitiche toilette giapponesi funzionino completamente. Inoltre al momento della prenotazione, con largo anticipo se si chiede di stare ad un piano alto si dovrebbe avere la certezza di avere questa possibilità, senza invece verificare direttamente al momento del check-in, con magari personale che non è neanche al corrente della richiesta già inoltrata-
