Didn't enjoy the meals in the restaurant ( this was as a paying guest from the menu) Update - pavement works along Soi 26 now complete :-)

- Erik (6/5): okay - The Gym was the best part of the hotel. Both the facilities and the friendly staff. Thank you to Kun Jim. Breakfast was just ok. Noise level could be managed if hotel front desk kept the tours bundled together in one floor. I was sandwiched between rooms booked to a big tour and they were very loud, shouting across the hallway to each other down the aisle. When I spoke to one of them nicely trying to explain what they were doing didn't reflect well on their country of origin, one of them passed by and barked at me saying "this is the XXXXX way" (XXXXX being their culture which I won't mention here). The tours seemed to keep coming very frequently during my stay. Finally, the first room they gave me was not as clean as I would have expected. I saw stains in the bed and left over garbage at the trash bin but they were nice enough to change the room right away after I asked.

Shower temperature fluctuated. Rooms very outdated. The rack rate was high but discounted so I thought I was getting a luxury deal, far from it.

Номера не маленькие, удобные кровати, чистое белье. Очень милый и доброжелательный персонал. Одна стена - это стекло, отличный вид. Номера очень старые. Не "уставшие", как часто пишут, а прямо старые. С ремонтом 20-30-летней давности. Не очень чисто. Ужасные древние розетки - из них вываливались зарядки. Кроме того, НИ ОДНОЙ розетки у кроватей. Впервые такое вижу в отеле. Кондиционер тоже старый, регулируется у входа в номер, нельзя управлять пультом. Довольно странный завтрак. Выбор большой, а есть нечего и не очень вкусно. Этот завтрак больше похож на ужин - супы, много видов горячего...

- Nicky (6/5): it was OK, but not good for a longer stay. - The rooms are very spacious but not balconys, or windows that can be opened. The rooftop terrace with the pool is huge with really great view. The whole hotel looks kind of old, especially the rooms
- Anatole (4/5): - The hotel is very old and has been in dire need of renovation. Overall, the room is as pictured, large, and has a fridge and TV, but time takes its toll. The air conditioner works and breaks down and makes constant noises. At one point, I even had a leak. The towels were full of holes from my nose, and the windows in the room were washed about 10 years ago. Overall, if you need a hotel for 1-2 days, it's fine, but if you want to stay longer, I wouldn't recommend it.

- Fredrik (7/5): - Once checked in, everything worked very well and the staff was very good. Bad shower head, you should check if they work properly now and then. Despite asking well in advance it was not possible to check in early. My flight from Europe arrived at 6 AM in Bangkok, and it's not fun to hang around/stay awake for several hours waiting for my room.

Vele plekken zijn op ongeveer 30 min rijden, vooral als je met de auto/taxi gaat. Grab bike is dan wel beter. Tot slot hele vriendelijke personeel die je graag helpen. Top ervaring gehad dus naar mijn mening een aanrader!

- Marc-Antoine (9/5): Lovely, old and charming hotel, nice neighborhood and friendly staff - I don’t know why but I love it, this old but clean and cute professional hotel has a soul. People working there do their job well. The few coffee, street vendors around are very very good, spa massage not so far. I would say it’s a bit hard to move east or west as roads in this area are not connected horizontally. Laundry is excessively expensive and you have to write down yourself the number of each and everything. Just do a price per KG, a bit higher that your neighbors, and an option for dry cleaning for expensive items, but I can’t pay 5$ for a t-shirt! The shower needs its “silicon joints” changed, it’s cheap and easy to do, it’s easier than cleaning the black mold.
