- HODA (10/5): I really enjoyed it and highly recommend this hotel - The location is perfect: a quiet part yet at the center with easy walking access to many museums and the Biennale sites. Not much. I think the breakfast could be diversified: everyday was the same .

It was also relatively close to other neighborhoods we wanted to explore. The room itself was small but cozy and perfect for our uses. We were able to get a water taxi from the hotel directly to the train station when we left, which was very helpful. Felt safe and would absolutely stay here again. The room we had (one of the attic room), had a window that wasn’t very easy to look out as it was too high up. Not a huge problem as we could stand on a chair and look out, but something for others to keep in mind when booking an attic room.

- Lukas (9/5): Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder! - Die Lage des Hotels war sehr schön und mitten in einem zentralen, aber nicht so überlaufenen Teil der Stadt an einem Platz. Die Anreise ist mit einem Koffer auch ohne Taxiboot gut machbar. Der Palazzo in dem das Hotel liegt ist wirklich wunderschön! Wir waren mit dem Zimmer sehr zufrieden, auch wenn das Hotel schon etwas älter ist. Es war geräumig, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Das Team des Hotels war zuvorkommend und die Cocktails in der Hotelbar sehr gut! Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder! Der Preis in der Nebensaison war in der Preis-Leistung erstklassig und einmalig. Das Frühstückbuffet war in Ordnung (für italienische Verhältnisse), jedoch fanden wir es sehr schade dass es kein italienisches Gebäck wie zum Beispiel Panini gab. Trotzdem war für jeden etwas dabei und der Kaffee war für einen Frühstücksbuffet-Vollautomaten lecker :)

- coconutdaisy (6/5): Nice view of canal - We were so excited to visit Venice. Upon arrival to the hotel, we were welcomed to sit by the canal window for cafe while I room was being prepared. We booked a Classic Double Room with Canal View. It was located at the top of the stairs directly across from the front desk. It was directly next to the elevator. The room was extremely tight for two adults. We has a balcony to view the canal which was the best part. We could hear people getting on & off the elevator at night, which woke us up. We could also hear the phone ringing at the front desk. We found the staff to be unfriendly but for one gentleman, who was always pleasant to talk to compared to the other men that worked there. This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in yet the accommodations & staff were not nearly as nice as all of the other hotels we visited in Italy. We were really disappointed.

- T2714DWmike (10/5): A great all round experience - Ruzzini Palace Hotel provided an ideal location, generally within 5 to 15 minutes walk of the main tourist area. The Hotel itself was in a relatively quite area so best of both really depending on your requirements. The Hotel itself is spotlessly clean, rooms are spacious and very comfortable (great beds!). The staff are very polite and helpful and no request causes a problem. The hotel bar is a great way to relax (very comfortable) and meet new people. Happy Hour seems to be every hour as your drinks are accompanied by various snacks (with no additional cost). We intend to return to Venice (and explore outside of the tourist areas - there is so much to see) we would return to the Ruzzini Palace Hotel it was ideal.

Tegelijk is het een oud pand en daarmee helaas flink gehorig. De goedkopere zolderkamers zijn best stil maar juist de deluxe kamers zijn ontzettend gehorig. Je kan letterlijk verstaan wat de buren zeggen of doen. Dit hoort niet bij een hotel van dit prijsniveau

It’s a beautiful hotel in a palazzo with many original features. A fantastic location and very easy to walk everywhere. The staff were just brilliant. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite. We were very lucky as March is one of the quieter months by Venice standards. Every staff member we met was smiling and helpful. The hotel bar is comfortable and extremely well run. A great place to return to in between long Venetian wanderings. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

The hotel is in a great location, very near the touristy area but not right in it, and there is a free shuttle watertaxi service from the hotel. The rooms are not ultra modern, but are impeccably clean, comfortable and spacious - all of which are more important to me!
