• Chip (4/5): - The airport advertises as close to yhe airport. Be aware, the airport is Istanbul's cargo airport, not the passenger airport. Note -this is a 45 min taxi/uber ride. We arrived on April 19 evening and the room's air conditioning was inopperable. The staff said the AC is not on yet because its still winter and to open the window(def NOT winter). Well the windows only open 6". So we had to endure the very hot room and the continuous railway noise, directly adjacent to the hotel. Not a good stay and would not recommend.

• Abdullah (8/5): Nice Hotel - It is nice hotel close to the exhibition halls, restaurants, and coffees. I could not eat in the hotel so I do not know the quality of food.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Istanbul . Expo hotel - Overall very nice hotel with professional and friendly staff. Some rooms are a little dated. Excellent for expo location. But nothing else nearby. Taxi required.
• Nader (6/5): - The property is in a location within a walking distance from the airport which gives you a peace of mind as you approach your flight day. However, they are shutting down the A/C, and instead placing it in 'fan mode' to fake the patrons and customers that the AC is working. Not the first time but definitely a good pick during the winter.

• Anna (4/5): - This hotel is 45 minute drive from the Ataturk airport where all the domestic and international flights arrive and leave from. It is close to the old airport that is only used now for cargo planes. But you cannot find this info anywhere on expedia, maybe due to the hotel itself giving them some fake info, because noone woukd stay there now, since they are not close to the active airport. When I was looking for a hotel close to the airport this was one of the first ones that expedia offered and I booked it and ended up having to take a taxi for 45 min back and forth since it was just for one night. I was trying to book something else while I was in a taxi with an expedia rep through the chat and he offered me the same hotel, so stuff there has no idea that it is actually on the other side of Istanbul completly. So if you need overnight accomodation look for something else or you will have a meltdown once you realise the taxi is taking you to the other side of the city. Also in some rooms smoking is allowed, so even the nonsmoking rooms still have a vague smell of cigarettes, which was annoying on top of everything else.
• Labiba (2/5): - The staff at the reception were not welcoming at all The way they deal and talk to customers was un appropriate, they over charged me for the breakfast it suppose to be 12 euro per person they charge me 56$ for 2 , I asked them at the check out he said will refund the difference to my credit but he didn’t, The location is not good. Not recommended

Tuve que tomar un taxi de una hora de Ida y una de vuelta para llegar, el hotel está bastante feo y no hay nada cerca . Muy mal

After traveling 15 days through different countries in the Mediterranean and Turkey we wanted to spend our last night in a different area of what we stayed In other places. The area was perfect, new and modern, very accommodating in restaurants and shopping. Nice property and nice staff, they could have a better understanding of the English language. Now the bad part was that the AC was not working in the room, we requested help to solve it and the respond was to sent a maintenance guy that “told” us that it was not functioning that we had to open the window and keep the door open to cool the room, at least that was we understood since he was speaking Turkish and pointing with his hands. No one follow up with a call or anything. I believe that the answer that got to our request was not acceptable, and worse of all made our stay horrible And miserable, since we could sleep all night. Keep in mind that our reservation included two rooms.

• THOMAS (6/5): - I cancelled my stay for Tuesday 9/17/19 because your ad says it’s near the airport. It is about 30+ MILES from the airport. It is very near the old airport which no longer handles passenger planes! When we stayed there on 9/5/19 because of flight from Istanbul to Bacu the next day, we paid 200 TL for taxi from airport and 200 TL for taxi back to airport. The total taxi rides should have been around 80 TL NOT 400 TL. When I mentioned to the reception desk that the add for WOW Hotel was near the airport, they said they have no control of your ad. Very dishonest!!!! Are you aware that the WOW Hotel is nowhere NEAR the new airport for passengers? Also, the ride to and from the new airport takes about 45 minutes.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel was ok as I stayed there many times before. They could provide a kettle and a couple of teabags as part of the complementary service. One complementary small 300ml bottle of water is very poor. The neighboring room has school kids that were up at 3am banging doors that kept me awake. The shopping Mall at the world trade center is closed so there is no close by shopping or restaurants. Added to that the new Istanbul Airport is one hour from Downtown Istanbul and a taxi costs about 180TL each way. I will be avoiding going through Istanbul in the future.

My only complaint is that it advertises that it is close to the airport, which it is but it is the old airport, not the new one. The new airport is a 50 minute cab ride away and I was there on a 13 hour layover and every minute counted. Last time I was in the old town and this time I got to see the modern city but less sleep. I'd go back if I had time.

• Kaan (4/5): Was a mistake to stay here - Hotel was below our expectation. You book a room for 2 people and there is only 1 small size water in the room. When we asked for the second one for the second person staying in the room, they said their procedures are to leave 1 water per room, “for this time” they can give us 2 water bottles. THANK YOU, very generous!!. Hotel is dirty and full of strangers. I wouldnt step in ever again
• Allyson (4/5): - Istanbul opened a new airport, so this no longer near the airport. So it cost us a lot to get to the hotel. Once we were there, we found out they hadn't turned the A/C on for the season, I called the front desk to complain about the heat and the suggested I open a window. The windows opened to a busy, noisy, street. Needless to say, no one slept that night.

My go to aiport hotel when getting a connecting flight in Istanbul. Easy to get to airport and hop train to city. Stayed here at least half a dozen times. Positive experience every time.

I don't know if the issues were with WOW, or Expedia. but between the time I booked the room online and when I stayed there a few weeks later, the price increased. When I checked in, I learned that the room didn't come with breakfast. All told, not huge amounts of money, but annoying. That said, they did let me check in early (as my flight came in early).

• Kivanc_Dincer (10/5): - - There are two WOW Hotels next to each other as seen in the hotel pictures. This is the 4* one, the other one is 5*. These two are the closest high-star hotels to the Istanbul Ataturk International Airport. - An airport shuttle is available most of the day. But I preferred to take a taxi for my airport connection that costed less than 10 TL (2 USD) as of Jan 2019 - The day and night fare is the same. - The hotel has an in house restaurant/cafe/bar in the first floor that - I think - open for 24 hours. The sibling hotel is a little bigger and have some other alternative shops to enjoy. There are also many restaurants, and shopping places in close distance that you can reach by taxi. - The metro station is in 4-5 minute walking distance to the hotel. It connects you to the Airport (1 hop) and to the most of the mejor attractions in the Anatolian side of Istanbul. - The room comfort quaility and cleanliness was very good but the amenities/supplies were at a very basic level. Guests are supplied 2/3 bottles of free water (0.33 lt) but no kettle in the room. More things are available in the fridge for a price. You have to ask to the front desk for getting tootpaste, shaving cream, etc. or iron/ironing desk for free. - I am only bothered seeing a walk-in gentleman paying less than what I paid online thru Expedia for my advance rezervation.

Location is excellent, just 3 minutes walk from metro station and a very short shuttle service ride (about 5 minutes) to the airport terminal. • Greta (8/5): This was my third stay at WOW hotel - BETHWEEN THE FLIGHTS This was my third stay at WOW hotel. If I had to fly again with TURKISH AIRLINES and there is an over night I would choice again WOW hotel - really close to the airport. BUT! do not wait for the shattle in the evening - at least 1 hour...$5-7 and if not the first than the second taxi will take you there - 5 minutes.
