• José Luiz (6/5): Poderia ter sido boa não fosse o esforço e o risco para chegar ao quarto e ao café da manhã - Quarto bom e limpo. Café da manhã bom Não há acesso para deficiente (meu caso) e o staff não se oferece minimamente para ajudar a suplantar às dificuldades. O s acesso à recepção, elevador e sala do café da manhã têm escadas sem corrimão! Tive que me apoiar em minha esposa, que se recupera de uma cirurgia de articulação do quadril!! Carros não chegam à porta do hotel.

• Virginia Lynn (10/5): Very nice and centrally located Hotel in Naples Historic Center - Good and central location to the Historic Center, train station and everything. Liked our room a lot with double French doors that opened at the front of the hotel. Bright and breezy … Barbara who greeted us on arrival was fantastic at the front desk. Also another female member of the team was very helpful with recommendation etc. breakfast was very good too. The towels and linens all clean and white. Room was always clean and perfect. The hotel was exactly what we expected. It is not in a posh area … it is the real real in Naples.

Il y a beaucoup de marches dans les zones de circulation communes : entrée, accueil, salles du petit déjeuner. C’est une difficulté pour les personnes handicapées ou se mouvant difficilement.

• Katrien (10/5): Uitstekende uitvalsbasis om Napels te bezoeken - Hele goede ligging. Mooie kamers. Netjes. Verzorgd ontbijt. Alles prima geregeld. Maar bovenal de verwelkoming door de receptioniste bij aankomst! Met een Napolitaanse kwinkslag gaf ze ons een instant thuisgevoel. Gedurende ons verblijf kregen we zowel toeristische tips ter aanvulling op onze planning als praktische adviezen. Daarnaast leidde ze ons ook naar hele goede lokale adresjes. Of gaf ze gewoon een duidelijke uitleg bij historische of typische feiten van Napels (als we daar om vroegen). We volgden haar advies en hebben genoten van Napels! -

• Dr. Steffen (9/5): Very comfortable place in a great location - Great location, just a few steps from the main street of the historical centre, yet quiet enough. Rooms are of a good size and nicely appointed with high ceilings. Staff is friendly, yet not very visible outside of the reception area. The hotel has a nice small lobby and bar area, yet it is not staffed with the exception of a few late evening hours. They try to compensate this by stocking up the minibars in the rooms, but that is still not the same thing.

Huone oli tilava ja erittäin siisti, eikä mitään kaupungin meteliä kuulunut huoneeseen. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja monipuolinen. Miinusta oli leipä joka oli esipaistettua sämpylää eikä pekoni ja nakit näyttäneet kovinkaan houkuttelevilta.

• Roberta (10/5): Lovely stay at this hotel. - The staff is great. The breakfast is amazing and delicious! Our room was very comfortable. The AC quit working. There was a switch on the window to shut the AC off if the window is opened (understandable). We had not opened the window but the switch had malfunctioned and we had no AC. The staff helped us troubleshoot the problem.

• Anirban (7/5): Good location, close to Spaccanspoli but not 4 star hotel. More like a 3.2 stars. - We had good stay at Albergo Palazzo Decumani for the first time. The hotel is in a good location, just a short walk from the heart of Naples and very close to Spaccanapoli, the famous pedestrian street that makes exploring the historic center easy. However, the neighborhood is typical for Napoli, a bit run down. For two nights we stayed in Superior Room. It was spacious, and the bathroom was also large and comfortable. Directly across from the hotel is Pizzeria La Figlia del Presidente, one of the best-known and excellent pizzerias in Naples. The front desk staff were very kind especially Barbara, who was extremely polite, warm, and very helpful throughout our stay. One of the cons there is no tea or coffee maker.  One important point for future guests: we also stayed one night in a Classic Room in the same hotel, and the experience was quite different. Although the room itself was large, it had no real outside window—only a window facing an internal stairwell—which made the room feel dark and somewhat claustrophobic. For that reason, I would strongly recommend booking a Superior Room rather than a Classic Room if staying at this hotel. I did not realize that the “ Classic” room had no proper windows. There was one facing a dark, dank stairwell. No water , coffee maker or tea facilities.

• Bruce (6/5): Good location for a hotel that was strangely unwelcoming and unsmiling. - Location. Cleanliness, Bathroom. All were good. Room was comfortable and stylish. Breakfast buffet was good and the lobby had a style as well, with a remarkable glass chandelier that filled several stories of the stairwell. Front desk staff were cool to the point of unfriendliness, and that extended to a lesser degree to the dining room staff as well. It was not a welcoming hotel. There were no handrails beside the stairs from the reception level to the hotel entrance. Everyone commented on this absence which extended to other staircases as well. The television/entertainment set up was almost impossible to use. Two "wands" and a box beneath the screen had to be used, and no one in my group succeeded in making it work. There was no guide to the channels available in English. There was no coffee maker provided in the room of this four star hotel, and the coast hangers in the closet had to be separated from the track, a cheap touch in a four star hotel, and an irritation.

• Ainhoa (8/5): Estancia perfecta en el centro de Napoles. - Esta muy centrico sin el ruido de las calles mas transitadas, la cama era comodisima y el desayuno aunque con poca variedad correcto y muy rico. Todo esta limpisimo y la atencion es muy buena.Cada dia tienes diferentes tartas recien hechas que estan espectaculares. Por decir algo, la habitacion estaba en el primer piso y no esta insonorizada. Se oia mucho el ruido de la calle que no es ruidosa pero pasa gente y coches. Si eres sensible a los ruidos lleva tapones.

• 596anthead (10/5): Unique ,gracious with helpful committed staff. - We were welcomed efficiently and patiently, but were distracted by the extraordinary iron and marble staircase which spirals up through the whole height of the building. A vast crystal chandelier hangs to light the ground floor ,its chain suspended from the roof. A series of beautiful iron hands hold the hand rail in place. Our receptionist could describe the fascinating history of the building as her grandfather had converted it from the family home to the present gracious hotel. It stands in a small piazza very central to Naples' most popular streets ,a brilliant pizzeria and awe inspiring museum. Bathrooms, bedding and furnishings are of the highest quality. Breakfast was a feast to the eyes and consequently, the waistline!

• Stephan (9/5): Angenehmer Aufenthalt in zentraler Lage - Sehr gute Lage. Nahe an Sehenswürdigkeiten, Geschäften und Restaurants. Zentral in der Stadt. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeitende. Geräumige Zimmer mit allem, was man so benötigt. Frühstück italienisch mit interkontinentalem touch. Das imposante Treppenhaus verbreitet die Geräusche lauter Hotelgäste am Morgen sehr (Zimmer waren zum Treppenhaus ausgerichtet, es gibt auch einen Seitenflügel) - laut Buchung waren es Schallisolierte Zimmer. In meinem Zimmer waren der Kühlschrank und darüber der Safe in einem Schrank verbaut. Dadurch sehr hoher Wärmestau. Safe deshalb nicht benutzt (für technische Geräte). In einem anderen Zimmer war das besser gelöst (offen verbaut). Hier und dort wäre ein makeover ganz gut.

• viridlm (9/5): Estupenda estancia - El hotel es ideal para un viaje de turismo, está en pleno centro histórico y muy cerca de todos los lugares de interés. Las habitaciones estupendas, mobiliario renovado, baño grande con todo lo necesario, no falta el mas mínimo detalle, y la limpieza perfecta. El desayuno adecuado, con un poco de todo, dulce y salado. El café preparado al momento y no de máquina, muy muy rico! A destacar el personal en general muy amable y atento. Todo bien
