Ugne (9/5): Good value for money, clean and convenient. - Check-in was smooth, and the room was clean. It was cleaned daily, and it was easy to ask for extra towels or a change of sheets. The hotel is close to bus stops, MRT stations, convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants, so the location is quite convenient. The room had a kettle, fridge, and hairdryer. Overall, everything was fine. The room is quite small, but it is good enough for a short stay and really not a problem. The only downside is that the hotel is located in the red light district, so I would be careful, especially at night. However, that may also be one of the reasons why the hotel is cheaper, so it is understandable. The hotel itself is good.

Alejandra (6/5): It could be better - Nice staff, the rooms are cleaned every day and it has elevator. The walls seem to be made of cardboard — you can hear every noise from the neighboring rooms. Keep in mind the neighborhood is far from the Marina (we paid $20 for a taxi) and it's a noisy, dirty area (even though they guaranteed us it was safe). The pillows need to be replaced, and the bathroom pipes make noise all night. The towels are slightly stained; even if they're clean, they give a bad impression. If you're tall, be aware the beds are like narrow, small bunk beds.

The staff were polite and helpful during our stay. The room was simple and fairly clean, which is expected for a budget hotel. However, The walls were not very soundproof, and we could hear noise from other rooms, including toilets flushing. One thing we didn’t realize before booking was that the hotel is located in the Geylang area, which is known as a red-light district. The area had many food places and was quite lively, but it’s something travelers may want to be aware of before booking.
