Guest Reviews
- Abdulaziz (2/5): - Worst hotel I stayed at in my life
- SAMEER (8/5): - THE STAY WAS GOOD. NICE PEOPLE TO HELP YOU OUT & THE ROOM WAS GOOD. THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS THAT THEY DONT HAVE KITCHEN. WE CAN HAVE FROM OUTSIDE ALL GROCERIES AND COOK IN ROOM IF REQUIRED OR THEY HAVE CONNECTIONS TO NEARBY HOTELS WHERE YOU CAN ORDER ON PHONE.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - very good location, overall a good hotel with all things you need, very friendly staff,i will book again
- Krishnan (8/5): Fantastic Stay - Nice and good hotel ambience. Rooms are spacious and well maintained.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Pettyneitä hotelliin - Olimme varanneet hotellin kolmelle hengelle.
- Abdel (8/5): Perfect second time !!! - We have been upgraded, the staff is helpful.
It was our second stay, we will return !!
- Verified traveler (8/5): ładny hotel w dubaju - Brak darmowego WiFi i brak śniadań reszta wszystko dobrze
- Fatima (10/5): hotel très accueillant, personnel parfait - Très bon choix de l'hotel, personnel à l'ecoute, competent
hotel très propre
equipement adéquat mais horaire d'ouverture de la piscine trop restreint
- Ajay Verma (10/5): Great Location & Good Service - It was my family holiday trip & I got every thing out there except in house food. Although they have provided excellent kitchen if you can do self cooking while on holiday. This amenity is provided in all the appartment rooms. If anyone have budget contraint then it's excellent property to enjoy your holiday & stay in Dubai.
- Yasmeen (4/5): - The hotel rooms had bad smell and bathrooms were not very clean. Overall the apartment was too expensive in comparison to the service and cleanliness
- Maneet (2/5): Not on Good Location - This apartment is not on good location, all the cookware are old, Mahindra Staff is not at all good neither seems to be helpful As useual they are, Manager don't have time for Customer simply decline to meet, Studio room is not comfertable seems like Hostel room, not providing any water bottle even on arrival.
WIFI is not free, Metro station is far away,
I simply say no to this hotel, and I am not sure for which reason property rated as 3Star, according to me it should be 1 Star hotel.
- Aliyah (4/5): Bad hotel - The only thing nice about this hotel is the closeness to central dubai. The staff are horrible and the facilities doesn't even exist. Wifi is chargeable and the pool closes early!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel n clean - I enjoyed our stay it was very nice n would stay again , just wish they have menus n leaflets n maps to help get around , really nice hotel !
- Bhagath (6/5): Nice and clean hotel but lack of restaurant - Nice and clean hotel but lack of restaurant is a problem mainly not having a breakfast will be an issue. This is not a luxury hotel or resort but rooms are very clean and spacious. Stayed in 1BR unit. Bit pricey. Location is central.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel needs a lot of work - Don't have queen or king bed for couple. Twin beds join together no free wi-fi.
- Kala (2/5): Nice exterior not equating to what is inside - Most distressing from our arrival @ 12. 30 p.m. to be shoved to Dolphin Hotel that was of inferior status in occupational health &....decor of the 1960's. Had to demand to return to Arabian D but continuously refused without explanation. Insisting our demands for a better room were told that room will be available next day. With 3 days in Dubai we wasted a full day returning and demanding to meet the manager who offered no explanation. The next day after we were able to finally get in touch with Expedia we met manager to state that it was total fault of Arabian Dreams and was the offered compensation of one breakfast day & free wi fi for a day.
Definitely the marble corridors are no match to services within, bad decor, faulty washing machine, dilapidated blinds, no hand towels.....very poorly trained personnel lacking hospitality etiquette. Mahendra Hotel chain MUST take full blame and wasted full day without any refunds. Emotional drain and worst experience in my years of travelling. Arabian Dreams definitely NOT of International standard practising basic ethical hospitality regulations. It was an Arabian Nightmare in a supposedly rich Dubai City!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Mohammad Umar (8/5): Very central & close to all attractions - Very satisfying and will recommend to others.
- Raunak (8/5): Great Hotel with quiet surroundings - The hotel rooms were spacious. But the nearest bus stop is about 800 metres away and metro station is 2 kms away.
- ajeenckya (8/5): nice hotel but bit slow service. - we stayed for 5 nights .the hotel is gud. nice location having near by general store, indian resto. they r equip ed washing machine, microwave. one draw back is they don't have their own kitchen so breakfast is very so so. house keeping is not as good as they forget to keep towels for 3 days. other wise gud value for money.
- Amar (2/5): not at all 4* - It was disappointed even a bottle of water was not provided and they hold title of 4* hotel, no warm welcome reception was not so clean same bathroom also. I will not recommend at all..
- Djewels (10/5): Everything Great - Fantastic ***
- sam (6/5): ok hotel for the price - it was an ok experience, the AC in the room was noisy,
it's not sound proof you hear everything inside the room and outside
- Verified traveler (6/5): ok hotel for the price - it was an ok experience, the AC in the room was noisy,
it's not sound proof you hear everything inside the room and outside
- Mohammed (2/5): Unpleasant - Service was absolutely rubbish. We were two people staying in a room needed extra key was not provided even after various request. We had booked in 4 nights then again 2 night after two days break when we returned the receptionist said your room is not booked luckily i had paper work with me she only gave us room after receiving papers from us. She said expedia did not fax us the detail. There was a horrible stink in toilets and rooms.
- Naeblis (4/5): Not a 4 star hotel - Arrived in taxi, no bell boy had to bring all my luggage in. Reception could not find my prepaid reservation. Left for appointment. Two hours later I get an email "sir you may come back we found your details". However, the room was spacious, seperate kitchen, bathroom, sitting room and bedroom. No wifi in rooms had to go to lobby. No tea of bottled water in rooms like every other hotel in Dubai that I stayed in. House keeping did respect my do not disturb sign and my wake up call was on time
- Mark Matthews (6/5): - Staying at a 4 star hotel I was expecting more from it. Like the washer took hours to finish and there was no dryer as stated on the web site. Also they said to have slippers and a robe neither of these was provided either. The location was very Quiet which is good for Duabi bit out of the way of most areas.
- Nick (8/5): - Very happy with my stay in this hotel. The room was very big and clean. A couple of issues though: Wifi is chargeable and cost about £25 a day and taxi drivers tends to have issues to find the hotel (just have a map with you).
- Abdulwahab (6/5): Good to use for short stay - I faced very bad smile once i opened the door it was from the WC , the location not on main st. Internet to pay for in room
- Verified traveler (8/5): A Good Hotel - The Hotel weas all that we required. We could with a wider selection of friut for breakfast. We had promp attention for our room .I would reccomend it our friends.Happy to come back to your Hotel. We could do with some Tea Or Coffee and milk in our room on arrival .
- Carolyn Moore (6/5): Hotel Staff friendly & helpful - Unfortunately, the hotel location lets this property down. Taxi drivers even struggled to find it. There is nothing nearby to walk to i.e. shops, etc. The room had an unpleasant smell when we arrived which dispersed slightly when the air conditioning was on. The bed was super comfortable but the breakfast was below par.
- Jay (8/5): Great hotel for comfortable stay - stayed 2 days as part of business visit, the stay was quite comfortable and the staff were quite courteous
- Rudolf (8/5): Our stay at Arabian Dreams Hotel Apartment - We had a good time at this Hotel, the rooms have been clean, the staff was always fiendly and helpful. In overal we wer satisfied.
- Matthew (6/5): A functional and large apartment - We stayed over two nights in separate rooms and were underwhelmed with the experience. The apartments were large and had all the fittings of an apartment but very few features of a hotel. There was no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room. So, I ordered room service only to get a call back to take my order again, at which point I was advised that I could not have 4 of the things we had ordered. So, I ordered alternatives, one of which did not arrive.
All in all we avoided being in the rooms, as they were stark and dark. The beds were very comfortable, however, and the rooms were large and clean. They just weren't at all inviting.
Functional and cheap.
- Dawn (10/5): Personal service and great location - The staff were extremely helpful and assisted with any queries. The hotel itself is in a good location Mankhool Road with quick transfer to the bus station in Dubai. The rooms were clean and very spacious with all modcons. Very reasonable rate for this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a weekend break in Dubai.
- Abiola (8/5): Close to the airport, hotel is not easily known. - Hotel is clean and tidy. The breakfast was a bit poor, I expected a continental bone with plenty of variety. Room service was ok, though we were a bit dissappointed when we arrived. We had to wait about 10 minutes outside the sun in the hotel waiting for help to bring in our luggages. When we complainedwe were informed that the bell boy just helped a guest up. We expected the hotel to have enough help for thatm
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel for long stay - I was very well greeted with my dad. The service workers were extremely helpful and professional. They take extra care for the elderly and disabled person. We slept very well, no noise was heard. Room was very well kept and clean. We didn't know how to work the washing machine and within minutes we had a worker come and showed us how to work. I was amazed at their fast and dedicated service. Highly recommend this place if you staying in Dubai.
- Lee (8/5): Great Hotel, great staff, would come again - Wonderful helpful friendly staff, exceptional people. Excellent value for money.
- Derek (2/5): Arabian Dreams Hotel - Do not stay at this hotel. It is outdated, the furniture is worn, there are bugs, the tvs are old, there was not one in my bedroom, inconveniently located on a back road and had a funny odor. I was so disgusted that I checked out and went to another hotel.
- Aziz (8/5): - Location of the hotel is little unknown till you mention that is is behind New Gold Souk then the cab driver will understand. The employees are basically Indians and do not speak much of English except the day time manager. If they want international clientel then the employees need to speak better english. Other than that, they were very helpful and it was a very pleasant stay. Hope to return to the same hotel in future.
- Rob (10/5): The Hotel was close by the IMH Hotel - Every one of the Hotel staff were great. They helped me with whatever I needed. The Hotel was clean, and the room was very comfortable
- Lin (2/5): Arabian Nightmare. - Dirty and shabby room. No natural light. Corridors like a prison. Aircon so noisy it wasn't possible to sleep with it. Cold breakfast. Omelet with hair in it. No tea and coffee in the room. Order of tea for the room took an hour to deliver. Rubbish place.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Arabian Dreams - The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff helpful. The location isn't very central and there are not many things around it, but taxis are easy to find. Wifi was available, but should have been free.
- J (6/5): plain Arabian dreams - It's a very plain but clean hotel-apartment suited for families. The lobby had sparse furniture, but then again no one really hangs out in a lobby unless you're in a 5-star hotel. My main complaint is that it is located in a street where there are absolutely no street lights. The hotel was not even lit. Unless you are standing in front of the sign, you cant differentiate this from the next apartment building. Check in and out was fast although the supposed law of Dubai of collecting all passports of those staying in the hotel is unnerving. There is no reason for this. As long as you have a credit card and one identification card of ONE of the occupants, that should be enough. While receptionist was explaining this rule, he showed us one of the passports of another guest. What's stopping him from showing everyone else ours?
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good Hotel for family stay - Good hotel to stay with family. Friendly staff and easy access to restaurant and taxi.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not bad if you are on a budget travel and are more interested in the old Dubai - In general, this hotel-apartment is good enough if all you need is a place to catch some sleep, which is what we wanted as we were out all day long. The room was clean and the furniture is acceptable. It's a 3 starts hotel, although it's advertised higher. If you want to be close to the action in Dubai, this is not the best location, unless you care more for the old Dubai than the new Dubai, or if you are just in transit. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a desktop where you can access the internet for free, just need to go when there are not many people trying to use it at the same time. Or, you can pay for the service and connect with your own laptop.
- Huzyfa (8/5): The Arabian Dream Suites Hotel - Overall the staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is quite and comforting, Highly recommended for Family and Couples.
Room come with a fully equipped kitchen.
The hotel lacks a dining restaurant, but the neighboring restaurant make up for this.
- ashlee (8/5): - This hotel is a very good deal for its amenities. I stayed here on a weekend with coworkers. The room offered more space than we needed, and was cery reasonably priced. The hotel is not located in the most convenient location, however cabs were cheap and we found it was a better deal to stay here and utilize cabs than pay more to stay a little closer to the action. The breakfast was good enough, but nothing special. The neighborhood was not in the action of the city, but did not feel unsafe.
Stayed Feb 2011
- nasa (2/5): bad - bad bad
- Steve (8/5): Would use again - The hotel is a bit out of the way but this has it's advantages. It's quiet and it gets you away from the hustle and bustle. The pool was a great way to relax and it isn't used very much so we had it to ourselves every day. The rooms are comfortable and we would use it again.
