Gostei da cama e restantes comodidades. Os funcionários foram impecáveis! Não reservamos com pequeno almoço incluído mas havia opção de pagar no local. Ofereceram-nos águas todos os dias. É uma cidade muito barulhenta e o quarto onde eu fiquei não tinha bom isolamento sonoro. Acordei várias vezes durante as noites com buzinas, ambulâncias e por aí. - MateuszNesterok (2/5): A disgrace to the IHG brand - filth, ignorance, and extreme neglect - As a loyal member of the IHG Platinum Elite and InterContinental Ambassador programs, I have stayed in countless IHG hotels worldwide. I am strict in my reviews. I often give high ratings, but just as often very low ones. The baseline for me is hygiene - the cleanliness of the room and its fixtures. My current 4-day stay at the Holiday Inn New York City - Wall Street in room 1603 has undoubtedly been one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. I expected the standard IHG is famous for. Instead, we lived through a nightmare. The room we received looked nothing like the pristine, renovated interiors from the photos on their website. It was claustrophobically small. The beds are not so much narrow as they are short - meant for short people. Cleanliness in this property does not exist. Both the hallway and our room reeked of a constant, unbearable smell of mustiness, but also probably marijuana or something similar. That is why we constantly keep the window open. In my opinion, the carpet is dirty, as are the walls and lampshades. The furniture is heavily worn, and so are the doors. The bathroom is archaic and extremely unhygienic. Black mold was growing on the silicone by the sink, and hair from previous guests was lying in the shower drain. Thick clumps of dust are hiding right behind the illuminated mirror. The shower fixture is heavily corroded, rusted, and simply disgusting, on top of having no adjustable shower head. Even the toilet bowl had chipped enamel. Don't count on getting any sleep here. The windows provide absolutely no insulation against street noise. Worse yet, we heard everything from the neighboring rooms (including a crying child), and in the morning, a loud rushing water sound from the pipes, resembling some tank refilling, woke us up every few minutes. Generally, it is hard to sleep here past dawn. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, and by 5:30 AM I was already up. That is also when I informed the hotel management in writing about the irregularities. However, I was completely ignored. Currently, we are past our 3rd night, waiting for a reaction from the IHG network after sending the information directly to them. As of right now, no answer, no apologies, and no manager has contacted us to offer a room change. Their concept of service consisted of the housekeeping ladies superficially making the bed every day and leaving replacement towels that were so worn and threadbare they would be a better fit for a cheap roadside motel. The actual dirt was never removed from the bathroom, nor was the carpet ever cleaned. Don't be fooled by the retouched photos on the internet. It is not fair. Avoid this property at all costs. The location is very good, but that cannot compensate for everything.

- Attila (8/5): I recommend it. - Great location, very close to the New York Stock Exchange, nice room, but the best part was the breakfast — a proper breakfast with a wide variety of options. The check-in staff was rude and unhelpful on the first day, but after that everyone was kind and helpful.

Te cobran $17 por noche extra en el hotel al hacer el check-in por una fee que no se indica en ninguna parte al reservar. La limpieza de la habitación se basa en hacer la cama y doblar las toallas, porque el baño no lo limpian mucho.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I also appreciated how close the hotel was to local eateries, bars, and the major event I was attending at the NYSE. With a few minor updates, I would stay here again. One morning, I attempted to take a shower and the water would not warm up, which was frustrating. Housekeeping provided hand towels and bath towels, but no washcloths, and since I was in a hurry, I had to use a hand towel. The curtains or blinds were very sheer, which made me feel uncomfortable as a woman, and they also appeared to need cleaning. Additionally, the decor and furnishings could use some updating.

- Martha (1/5): Damp, cramped and uncomfortable - The location was convenient. The whole room was dark, damp and smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals. Every surface and soft furnishing felt damp to touch, to the point where the carpet felt wet underfoot. I mentioned this to the front desk and was met with indifference. The AC was very noisy and appeared to make no tangible difference to the room temperature. I ended up checking out at 7am as I couldn’t bear to spend any longer in the room.

I asked to change the number, and it was done immediately Number Cleaning was perfect! The lady at breakfast was super friendly very loud conditioner. can't sleep with that apartments need to be renovated It's not a breakfast for 10$, it's some discount for restaurants in the lobby, I took 2 vouchers for $20 for and it allows me to take 2 skinny breakfasts and 2 coffees, and paid 20$ for it extra So I spend 40$ for 2 people, because that 10$ voucher covers 17$ of the breakfast price. cup of coffe 5$ each I would prefer to take breakfast around

- Clémence (8/5): Hôtel charmant avec un emplacement exceptionnel mais besoin de rafraîchissement - L’emplacement est extraordinaire pour visiter New York ; à 4-5 minutes à pied du World Trade Center et du Pont de Brooklyn. Les métros à côté qui desservent toute la ville en très peu de temps. Rue passante mais calme. La chambre est propre. L’hôtel manque d’amour ; besoin de rafraîchissement (ascenseur, escalier, salle de bain, mur sale). Notre chambre était vraiment petite. Le radiateur fait un bruit atroce. Le personnel à la réception n’est pas souriant ni chaleureux.

- Chelsea (9/5): thankyou for making our time in NYC so great! - we loved the location, so much around ( food, shops, subway, walking distance to brooklyn bridge, 9/11 memorial etc the hospitality from staff, bed was comfy + heater/aircon house keeping everyday was great room was a little outdated but great for the price loved that they used dove products in bathroom!!! big bonus points was overally pretty quiet compared to other cities ive stayed in which was amazing staff were amazing!!! nothing!

- Angelica (2/5): great location, but overall disappointed! - the location was by far the best part of this hotel, as well as the easy access to the subway and many great spots nearby such as food and attractions. Unfortunately during our stay, we noticed there was no fridge or microwave in the rooms, which made it difficult for we had to throw out our food a lot of the time since there was no where to store it. another thing we noticed missing was a safe, there was no safe anywhere in the room to store our belongings. The heater does not work well, it turns on and off and overall does not work. At the time of our stay we experienced an inconvenience, we had left a Bag of brand new shoes along with other items in the bag in our room, we left early in the morning to explore and upon returning in the night the bag was gone it was no where to be found in the room. We spoke with the manager, and with the housekeeping manager, and they claim no one took the bag but we do not understand how our personal belongings just disappear out of the blue. Upon speaking with one of the managers she continued to gaslight us and say maybe we left it in the subway or that we did not check the room well enough. She tried to say did you check the safe, and we told her there was none! We found her to be rude and dismissive of our claim, which I find to be poor customer service skills. The higher manager eventually did speak to us about a reimbursement but it is really upsetting that we had to experience this on our vacation especially since we had went shopping and purchased multiple items , just for them to be lost/stolen. Not sure I would stay here again, we did not even allow them to service our room during our stay after that just to be safe. overall quite disappointed and have yet to hear back for our "reimbursement".
