After traveling for 24 hours from Hawaii, we arrived around 11 a.m., and to our delight, they allowed us to check in early since our room was already ready. We were so grateful to settle in after such a long journey. The hotel room was fantastic—quiet, with a comfortable bed and nice, cold air conditioning. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the ferry, St. Mark’s Square, and Vivaldi’s church. We had an excellent experience and would gladly stay here again!

- Freestyle (6/5): - This is a small Boutique Hotel in a great location. We had room 101 with windows on the alley, Calle de La Rasse. We checked in Friday 8 pm and out Sunday 630am. Alley was a little noisy. Hotel directly across alley doing extensive construction so beware of weekday noise. No 110 ac or USB charging ports in the room. Shower extremely tiny, so beware big people. Entered the hotel after a long travel day with delays and had a bit of trouble entering the small vestibule with small width double doors. As we entered there were two staff members snickering at the adjacent front desk, felt it was do to our entrance. Rather than offering help to hold the doors open they had a good laugh on us and we weren't that bad! The continental breakfast included was nice, good coffee and typical pastries, cereal and cold cuts. Had a small room safe that the room key didn't match, not electronic. 5 minute walk to the Alilaguna ferry. Overall we were happy with the hotel. Lastly, we felt very safe in Venice!

Excellent breakfast of pastries, juices, cereals, cheese, sliced meats, coffee or espresso, yogurt, bread, jam, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs. Elevator always worked. Just steps away from San Marco Square, Vaporetto, food. Groceries and laundromat 10 minutes.

The staff were very attentive and resolved an issue we had with the outlets with expediency. The bathroom was spacious and the air conditioning was great after being out on a hot day. There was also a good light breakfast that we were able to take advantage before heading out for our adventure. I would definitely recommend it and stay here again!

The shower/bathroom facilities are a bit basic and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable I’d ever slept on, but it was fine for a short stay. The walls are pretty thin so some neighbours with loud voices at 6.45am could have been done without.

The only minor drawback is the queen mattress is actually two twins pushed together, but that was understandable due to the small hallways. Great location and would definitely visit again!

It was really hot and the location of the hotel makes the air circulation “zero”. Opening the windows was the only reason and is really noisy because its location. On top of that a lot of mosquitos so be prepared!

I have a surgery in my back. And what it’s worst. They only came but say nothing and didn’t ask me later if I was ok. I had to explain them how are my conditions of my back. And they didn’t clean my room the first day.

The hotel room is very tastefully decorated and with a kettle and a mini fridge. Excellent buffet breakfast. Extremely helpful front deck staff. I stayed 6 nights total. Highly recommended this hotel.
- Darrell (8/5): Excellent location, good value budget hotel. - A reasonable budget hotel. Breakfast was a good continental choice, 3 meats, cheese, hard boiled eggs, toast, bread rolls, cereals, yoghurt, pastries. Rooms have been refurbished to a reasonable standard and includes a small minibar fridge which is useful to keep your own drinks or milk in. Unfortunately the bathrooms have not been refurbished and they are in need of some tlc. Great location being 30 metres from the water front, 2 minutes from San Marco and the Doges Palace and a selection of bars, restaurants, shops and snack bars at the end of the alley. Overall good value for money for a 3 star hotel in an excellent location.

- Gregory (10/5): Great Place to Stay - Loved our stay at this place. Everything went well. The front desk staff were all friendly and professional. The breakfast was terrific- not just a pastry & coffee that so many other places claim as breakfast. The location was perfect for us - 5 minutes from the waterbus station. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The place was quiet too, especially with the soundproof window closed. Just two knocks: 1) the wi-fi was very spotty, even a few feet difference in the room resulted in no signal; 2) the placement and nature of the room lighting was not ideal. Each side of the bed had a reading lamp, but the lamp shade was dark and the light so dim you couldn't read.

- margaret (10/5): - Wow! Our location was perfect! Not perfect for quiet, but perfect for getting to St. Marks. The room was basically windowless-- having a solid steel cover--- if you opened it --- the alley volume was loud -- but you could open it if you want. However, it was exciting to hear the hustle and bustle. It seemed everything was easy to get to---- if you didn't get lost in the maze of Venice streets. It was such a vibrant area. So easy to get to from the water bus stop. We got off "Arsenal" but "Zaccaria" is closer. It was so easy to catch the water bus to Murano, Burano, and the Alliguna water bus to the airport (which is a different ticket). Reception was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was lovely. I recommend!
- Jade (6/5): - We stayed in the apartment, which was not very hotel-like. It felt like an Airbnb, quite sparingly furnished, cold tile floors, and as far as we could tell, no housekeeping? There is a kitchen with many of the things you need, but no ice cube trays and while there is a coffee pot, no coffee provided in the room. Up two flights of stairs. We prefer to book hotels because Airbnbs can be so uncomfortable, and this was basically just an Airbnb operated by a hotel. The bed was not very comfortable and the bedding was not soft. There’s a TV but it’s not a smart TV so unless you want to watch local cable television it’s not super useful.

- Heena (10/5): Nice hotel in a great location. - I was a bit hesitant to book the hotel based on the mixed reviews but I honestly have to say I was relieved to find that the hotel was actually quite nice, with great service, decent choice of breakfast options, great location and very reasonably priced too. The decor is quite traditional which adds to the character and there’s a lift to the 3rd floor only (for the 4th floor you just have to climb one flight of stairs from the 3rd floor) which was manageable. I would certainly stay here again.

Assigned apartment was four floors up - and no help available for luggage. Check-in was disappointing. We were shown the front door to the building that contained our apartment and told nothing about its location in the building. If you’re okay with a lot of stairs and aren’t looking for ambience or a hotel-like experience - this place is okay because of it’s location.

Or 17 or 30 headinf towards academia bridge or rialto. So many nice glass shops and cafes around the corner i loved it. The room was quiet dated, the aircon woukd not work, we even looked online for the make and model user manual.The only lift was slow to arrive up and down just 3 floors. The breakfast was 10/10 so much to choose from. I would come here again between winter-spring.
- Andrew (10/5): - Everybody seemed friendly & helpful, and keen to assist and make your stay pleasant.
- Marius (2/5): Dirty and filthy and under renovation - The place was in renovation, nobody bother to tell us. Noise from 7 AM there were drilling and knocking noises. The entrance to the building was dirty and so the staircase. The apartment itself is big. The kitchen and the bathtub were nice and new but the bedroom and the other room are old. The room was dirty and in the contract it said that after 3 nights somebody will come and clen the room and change the sheets and towels. We stayed for 4 nights and nobody bother to clean up. A total disappointment!

- Steven (8/5): - I would definitely stay here again. Staff was friendly, free breakfast, and very close to the main attractions. The only con was they don't have irons for your clothes, which they should.
- Rane Randolph (8/5): - Location is the best part of this property. Short walking distance to San Marco Square and also to a Ferry station which can take you anywhere in the island.
- Claudia (10/5): - the location is great, be prepared since there is no elevators, try to use light luggage, they stated that as a part of the reservation. Overall a great property
- Margaret (10/5): - A well-run, clean, modest hostel with a cold breakfast. The furnishings are comfortable but a little old-fashioned; plenty of hangers and shelves in the wardrobe. Excellent central location, right by the water bus stop, and just a little street noise at night from the taverna next door. The staff could not have been friendlier; they even helped me make phone calls when my flight was cancelled, and offered to help me find another room near the airport.
