- faith1hope2love (6/5): An ok choice for a short stay only - Staying at Vision Imperial Hotel for a night only (Christmas Eve) and it's an acceptable experience. First of all the hotel's not far from the airport (10-15 mins cab ride) and in fact Dubai International Airport is quite close to downtown. The hotel's in a convenient location which has everything you need: eateries, pharmacies, supermarkets— many of them run 24hrs. This is in an old neighborhood that's why living costs is also relatively lower. Be fair, the room I stayed in was alright as far as the price is concerned. At least I got basic toiletries, bottled water and speedy internet access. There is also a water cooler in the lobby and the staff are efficient too. In a nutshell, Vision Imperial Hotel is a not bad choice in downtown Dubai only if it’s for a day or 2.
- visha2025 (10/5): Pool Area Review - I had a great experience at the swimming pool area of Vision Imperial Hotel. The pool was crystal clear and well-maintained, making it a perfect spot to relax. The ambiance was peaceful, and the cleanliness was impressive. The staff, especially Rambilas Rai, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. His attentive service added to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the food was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

- ahmweng (2/5): Below standards - The location is accessible about 5 minutes from Dubai metro. The following are below standard- and needs to be replace as soon as possible. -bath towel’s - Hand towels -Bath mat The colour is already dirty white as a signs of too old, stitches coming off . Housekeeping services is terrible- they left our room open by mistake. We need to constantly contact them to provide toiletries for 2 persons as they provided us only one. Above all- this is the first time I encountered this- they do not allow the customer to go without sending their staff to check the room in case you take any of the items in the room. OMG!!
- ShabaanK1 (2/5): How did it happen? - Hotel has a great location. Have been booking this hotel from the time it was an IHG hotel , to Excelsior and now to Vision Imperial . Sad to say this beautiful property has deteriorated badly, Lack of maintenance , coacroaches, to unclean breakfast utensils . I have stayed about 6 times and our last experience seems to be the last. Unless management go on an improvement plan, I will avoid the hotel. Pity a good hotel with a great location suffers because of lack of investment in the upkeep of a once sought after hotel ,

I have been using this hotel for two years now and I cannot explain how much I enjoy my stay here. It is located near the metro and other attractions, making it a convenient location. Room is very nice, breakfast and dinner were great and there is a gym and a pool at the rooftop. Al rigga metro station is 5 minutes walk or you can find a taxi in the street in 5 minutes.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Need renovation & pest control - I’ll start by saying that if I had a refundable reservation I would have left the 2nd night! The rooms are in desperate need for renovation, not sure if the furniture is old or they are trying to pull off a classic style, but for sure their showers, tubs, seats, flush & shower curtains need to be changed. Stayed 2 nights in the first room: Shower handle broken, can’t use the tub to relax as the water holder doesn’t work, remote control not working. I asked them to change the room after the first night they said they dnt have availability & that they will fix the problems. They changed the remote, it still ddnt work, the 3rd day I stopped having hot water. It is when I insisted to change the room and if they dnt have availability they can give me my money & I can go somewhere else. Room 2 I stayed 7 nights: Better than first room but still the bathroom needs renovation. To note that in both rooms I had cockroaches! & when I complained abt that they said they sprayed but can’t do anything more... several times I had to go back down to reactivate my key card. Not sure how they are operating a 4 stars hotel. Food not bad, though they dnt have diet cola only regular lol. Location is in older part of Dubai. Parking is available Supermarket around the corner Have a gym and pool but I Ddnt use. The staff tried to help & are friendly, but that’s not enough to run a hotel

Hotel staff was awful with service and fixing my reservation to accommodate me. They stated they didn't have the room type (king size and twin) i requested at their location and also wanted to charge me for more adults in the room, which i tried to inquire about before the trip but did not get an answer. Seeing that me and 3 other adults were headed back to the United States in about 5 hours we were not actually spending the night. We needed a room to refresh and somewhere safe for our luggage. After i did not accept getting more rooms they finally allowed me to leave the luggage in their car and gave me a room with ONE bed for just me.

- Haisam (8/5): Great service - The staff was very very helpful. I arrived early due to change in travel plans with my two 6and nine year old daughters who were very tired from the long trip. The staff found us a room right away. The girls really enjoyed their stay and the pool was great to spend time there.

There was no running hot water for my stay of 4 days, I was told the “engineers” were working on and it should be done fixed within few hours (same reason by all different employees as if they were trained to reply accordingly) room cleaning service - Unreliable extra towels and any other items you need will require two or three phone call reminders to the front desk Not staying in this hotel again!

- Carl (8/5): - The room and local hallway stunk of bug spray; good to think that the hotel was making sure that no little critters would bother us but the odor of this spray was over powering; at first my wife insisted on a different room; the staff was very helpful, helped us move to a room that stunk less. But that room was much older, was not updated and not nearly as good a room. So my wife asked to move back to the first room, which we were able to do. She liked that room much better and got used to the powerful bug spray smell. Staff very helpful, a pleasant visit.

The second time i went in one of the staff showed us the way to the parking lot which was ver small and annoying. We booked two rooms one both of them had bad smell. The hotel staff was friendly, but careless and unfortunate errors were made. My room key stopped working on 3 separate occasions, due to programming the card incorrectly. I was also billed incorrectly for the hotel tax. I have no dispute for the tax itself, but find it disappointing that I was billed incorrectly and had to use much time to settle a bill that should have beeen paid days before.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Booked a non smoking but they had none left when we arrived. Room smelt, bed needed a new mattress. Nightclub played loud music all night clearly heard in the room. Breakfast was ok but the staff were really polite.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Old, tired hotel, cheap rates, great staff - Located in very busy area so traffic was a challenge, however only 10 mins or so to the airport so convenient for a quick stopover. The hotel itself is very old and in need of an update, the shared area carpets were very dirty and the condition of the room very tired ie bath enamel coming off, shower barely worked and furnishings a bit dirty. However the bed was very comfortable, bedding very good and I had a great sleep. I ate rom service with a mixed grill and it was very tasty. The staff were very helpful and doing their best, just an old hotel. The price was very cheap for Dubai though so you have to be realistic about what you get. Standout was the positive and helpful attitude of the staff.

- Marianna (2/5): Very bad hotel - Room smell very bad , and the mirror inside the toilet were broken , the bed smell also bad , it took us 15 minutes to decide to book another hotel and even not to bother to ask the receptionist for refund. I would never recommend it to anyone.

- London Boy (2/5): worst stay ever with filthy room and conditions - dirty, smelly and very old hotel that is in need of complete refurbishment. staff useless as sink hole was blocked for 3 days and despite complains nothing was done. charged me for being a bit early and then after all inconvenience refused to waiver the charge. I had booked for 7 nights and wanted to cancel on first day but was told it not refundable. worst stay every
- Kiki (6/5): It was ok. - Starting with how small the room was compared to the picture shown when we were booking, it was a little disappointing. Then, the bathroom mirror was really bad stained that was annoying to use, our bed sheets had stains, housekeeper did not refilled coffee supplies once we consumed it. Overall it was an OK stay, I would not stay there again unless the room was on discount and had more or better commodities.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Okay hotel close to the airport. - The hotel is a short taxi ride from the airport. However, the taxi driver got very cranky because he had been waiting for 2 hours for a fare. The hotel itself is fine but the room is old and needs updating. The bathtub seem a bit dirty with some stains that I was about to rinse off with water. The bed is comfortable. Check-in and check-out is speedy. I did not visit their amenities (ie. gym) nor did I have their breakfast.

- Shirin (8/5): A must stay hotel - Service at the hotel was impeccable.special mention of mr joy and mr shabin,who went out of the way to look into our preferrences,and arrange hassle free tours,trips. The check in on arrival was smooth and quick. Similar was the checkout. Breakfast was delicious. Really enjoyed the hummus. Delicate flavours. Kudos to executive chef and his team. Sleep quality was good.rooms were of adequate size with all required amenities. Housekeeping is done everyday and that is commendable! Swimming pool and a swankier bathroom,would have made the hotel on the top most list,for the budget traveller. On the whole a super experience!! Will be sure to return back again.

- Chris (8/5): Vibrant Dubai, stay right in the center :) - Well, staying in the vibrant part of Dubai, Dubai Creek, in a hotel which reflects this vibration, nothing more you may want. It is vibrant ... not quiet ... not a family retreat ... it is fun though ... and while the hotel is a bit vintage ... the staff is really good and helpful. It is a good place to go to :) ... You almost feel like Anton Ego, when you are at this hotel and in this area. First , there is the feeling, you are in the wrong place ,,, later your heart opens up to it and you enjoy every single bit of it (Ratatouille, the movie). So, go there and enjoy.

- Verified traveler (4/5): A not altogether pleasant experience - The hotel is difficult to get to if your driving yourself around and is very basic in terms of accommodation these days. The night club on till 3 am every night is not helpful and the Breakfast is not great. Whatch out for the Wi Fi signal strength if you reliant on this for work purposes and of course the fact that its not inclusive is an interesting ,marketing strategy.
- simon (6/5): Does the basics - Stayed here as location suite. Bit out dated in style but not visibly tired just needs renovating. Very friendly and efficient staff with a ok ground floor café / bar (bit stark in decoration). There is another bar restaurant, didn't visit but could here it! Oh and the fire alarm went off intermittently during the night...
