• Paul (10/5): For me it is a great base in the city to head for. - Breakfast in the hotel is always a good choice and well cooked. A great selection of local dishes as 95% of visitors seem to be Asian. A bonus if like me you find UK tourists embarrassing sometimes and I am English. The menu food in the restaurant is also always delicious and there is plenty of it. Nice rooms. Sizeable bathroom with bath and water hot enough for a bath. 3 elevators in the lobby so no problem getting back to rooms. Staff are always helpful and friendly. I visit Bangkok twice a year for 2 month stays. Airport to Elizabeth Hotel then after 3 or 4 days I head north. We always stay in this hotel. Swimming pool on the roof takes some getting to if young children or older people with just minor movement restrictions due to the high steps in places and little to no hand rail. It actually looks better in the pictures. Nevertheless, the rest of the hotel makes up for that. Nice rooms. Sizeable bathroom with bath and water hot enough for a bath.

• Ramona (9/5): Optimales Hotel für die Erkundung von Bangkok. - Das Personal war überaus freundlich. Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Ein Taxi wurde für uns bestellt, dass innerhalb von zwei Minuten da war. Super Service!!! Es gab nichts zu bemängeln.

• John (8/5): - The staff were very helpful. There were 2 Indian families next door allowing their children to run around screaming and shouting after midnight. After complaining to reception, we were moved to another floor and upgraded.

Me and my brother stayed over at this place for 1 night and our whole body is itchy with big bumps with multiple bumps like this one in the photo. I feel itchy everywhere on my body they should change there sheets or do a big clean in those rooms because I can stay anywhere as long as it’s clean and that really ruined my experience.

• Josefa (6/5): It was ok :) - O hotel é um pouco antigo, parece me ter uma ala antiga e uma mais renovada mas ficamos na antiga. Há um quarto com vidros sem janela que não abre, mas quando reclamamos e pedimos para mudar foram rápidos a resolver. A zona é boa para transportes mas é longe dos locais mais turísticos, apenas perto do mercado de fim de semana. De resto parece uma zona mais residencial sem muitas opções em redor a pé, apenas de transportes. Tem uma piscina agradável no andar de cima, sem bem que tudo parece ter pouca manutenção. O pequeno almoço é ok, mas nada de especial para um hotel de 4*. Não tem qualquer tipo de pastelaria, apenas pão. O hotel precisa de uma renovação. Os quartos têm um chuveiro antigo e ouve-se muito o barulho da canalização, acordamos a meio da noite com o barulho do banho do quadro do lado ou de cima.

• Lars (7/5): Aardig verblijf maar verwacht er niet teveel van - Erg ruime kamers Er was een hoop niet in orde. Het zou een 4 sterren hotel moeten zijn maar dat zijn denk ik wel heel oude sterren. Het meeste is oud en versleten. TL verlichting, een douchegordijn, schimmel en vies er vergaan voegwerk hoort niet in een 4 sterren hotel. Mocht je dan toch besluiten om overal tapijt neer te leggen zorg dan dat het er schoon uit ziet. Er hangt een vreemde lucht in de kamer, airco installatie is erg verouderd. Lichtknopjes zijn vergaan of te vies om aan te raken. Schilderwerk… hier zou ik iets grappigs op moeten zeggen maar dat zou niet eerlijk zijn. Het meubilair in de kamer… idem. Het zwembad heeft (of had) potentie maar is ondanks het vele chloor troebel en niet schoon. Het personeel daarintegen maakt een hoop goed. Super vriendelijk en ze doen echt hun best om het voor de gasten aangenaam te maken. Het was uiteindelijk een prima verblijf maar heb op voorhand geen hoge verwachtingen. Grote kamer, alle basis faciliteiten, fijne locatie en prima ontbijt.

Auf der Hauptstraße gegenüber war ein toller gemütlicher Biergarten mit viel Auswahl an thailändischen Essen. Auch viele 7Eleven-Shops überall.

• Richard (10/5): - From the moment you step into the Elizabeth Hotel, you feel welcome and cared for. The reception and banquet staff are attentive, housekeeping is organized and efficient, facilities including the rooftop pool are wonderful. The breakfast buffet is generous and offers a wide variety of options. The rooms are well kept and a good size and the bathroom even includes a bathtub! No complaints. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to travelers looking for a nice, if somewhat older, hotel with exceptional standards.

• Didier (1/5): Grattage toute la nuit - La décoration de Noël (je n’ai pas été à la piscine), à l’accueil ils parlent anglais La chambre est vieille et sent le vieux, le mobilier date des années 60, ça pourrait être sympa si le matelas n’était pas lui aussi très ancien, on sent certains ressorts du matelas et je n’ai pas arrêté de me gratter la nuit (présence d’acariens ?), nuit horrible, j’étais heureux de quitter l’hôtel au matin
