L’hôtel est vieillissant et il y avait une odeur de remontée dégoût dans la salle de bain. La chambre sans fenêtre (on avait été prévenu mais ce n’est pas grave quand on ne vient que pour y dormir). On s’attendait à mieux pour un 4 étoiles.

Fabian (6/5): - Alors de l'extérieur quand on arrive l'hôtel est majestueux le personnel est très sympathique mais cela s'arrête là tout simplement Sincèrement la chambre était très petite la fenêtre ne correspondait pas du tout à la photo c'était vraiment une minuscule fenêtre la douche était en très mauvais état l'insonorisation était plus que mauvaise et le bruit dans les couloirs très important pendant la nuit bref nous n'y retournerons pas et nous ne le conseillerons pas je pense qu'il vaut mieux éviter cet endroit nous sommes dans un autre maintenant et c'est beaucoup mieux

Music is too loud at the pool. There are some bugs in the bathroom and bedroom but not too bad. After rain there was a stiff smell in the hallways.

Would like to mention PLOY one of the receptionist. Ploy was so helpful on a previous visit 2025 when my follow up trips went awry! . So had an extended stay at the Royal. PLOY was so helpful at that time and when returning again this year, was welcomed with her customary big smile.

Jens (7/5): Es ist nicht das teuerste Hotel - daher für den Preis ok. - Die Lage war extrem gut - mitten China Town und die Blue Line Station direkt um die Ecke! Die Geräte im Fitnessstudio waren gut, es war sauber und ausreichend. Das Personal war super freundlich, vor allem die Herren fürs Gepäck und den Fahrstuhl! Das Zimmer ist schon recht in die Jahre gekommen. Die Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen, die Gardinen ließen alles sehr dunkel und bedrückend wirken. Am Pool hat man auch gesehen, dass es überholungsbedürftig ist. Die Auflagen auf den Liegen und den Stühlen waren schon recht fleckig. Preise für Getränke recht hoch trotz Happy Hour. Alles in allem sollte über eine Modernisierung nachgedacht werden.

David (9/5): - Super Location in der Mitte der Chinesen town. Ca 2 Fußweg von U-Bahn, ca 45 Minuten von der Flughafen. Jede Menge Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe. Trotzdem das Hotel ist ruhig. Wir hatten einem Zimmer ohne Fenster und war super, war kalt und ruhig. Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen! Beim Pool kann man keine Drinks oder Bier mitnehmen sondern muss man alles dort kaufen :(

Ein super Vorteil wenn man die Gegend in und rund Chinatown erkunden möchte. Cooler Rooftop. Pool und Rooftop war meistens voll. Es gibt ziemlich wenige Liegen am Pool.

Sehr freundliches Personal, Bedingungslose Unterstützung bei Organisation der Taxi, Ausflüger und Besichtigungen. Jederzeit hilfbereit. Rooftop mit tollem Ausblick über die Stadt. Eigener Massage und Spa. Habe wirklich nichts zu bemängeln.

Claire (10/5): Great central and reasonably priced hotel if you want to be in central Chinatown - Very central location in Chinatown, comfortable bed and lovely rooftop area with swimming pool and bar- much needed to escape the city heat! There was a step into the bathroom which we both kept catching as the step itself wasn’t flush.
jenniferfG3298OU (10/5): Peacefull stay - Perfect location in chinatown Bangkok. The view from the rooftop at night is very beautiful and we liked watching the sunset from the swimming pool everyday. There is a gym with good equipements, a very nice massage salon and the hotels proposes many other activities. Every single staff member was very kind, a special mention to miss Cream who helped us when we had troubles with booking. She was professional, kind and very efficient and helped us find a solution quickly to our problem. Definetly worth it, thank you very much, can't wait to be back here.

Only stayed here for 2 nights en route home to UK after staying at 3 different locations in Thailand. Second time staying here perfect for a few days at beginning or end of your holiday.
