From the very beginning, there was a girl named Shashi who opened the hotel door for me with a very beautiful smile. There was also Jun, who was very kind. At breakfast, there was Ibrahim, who worked in the restaurant. He loved offering his help and generously and kindly tried to fulfill all my requests. When I went to the swimming pool, I was trying to take a selfie, and there was a young Indian man working as a lifeguard who offered to help me take my picture with his phone. He took the most beautiful photos. He is truly skilled at taking photos and videos. I really loved staying at this hotel and will definitely return. The management is very smart in choosing its staff.

The room is good with a queen size bed. I just didn't like the pillow that much but it seems more of a personal preference. The bathrooms are clean and have basic toilettries available at request. The pool is also good with heating. Great hotel if you want your nights to be peaceful.

Entrance staff, Housekeeping, breakfast team ( Shahini, zyad, ibrahim, snow, sahal, ushara, josephine, raza) all our well trained and hospitable. • Satya (10/5): Novotel Knows how to Serve - Great stay at Novotel Deira Dubai during a short business trip. The ambiance and the service was top-notch and the room was quiet spacious and clean. Didn't get chance to use other facilities, but had a walk through the pool and it was great.

The hotel is strategically located just besides the Deira City Center Mall. The housekeeping staff is generous and very kind to provide whatever is required. The overall staff at the hotel greets you with a smiling face. Consider this for a comfortable stay in Dubai.

• 958bhubans (6/5): Room for Improvement Despite Warm Welcome - We recently stayed at your property and would like to share some honest feedback with the hope that it contributes to improving your services. Our arrival experience was very engaging, thanks to Mr. Mohamed at the front desk. He welcomed us warmly and explained the hotel facilities in detail. He even mentioned a kids’ corner, which sounded promising for our children. Unfortunately, when we visited the area, we were surprised and disappointed to find two adults sleeping there—clearly not an appropriate or welcoming environment for kids. We ordered dinner from the hotel and found the food quality far below the expectations of a hotel under the Accor brand. The nasi goreng came with a half-burned egg, and the chicken nuggets for the kids were overcooked to the point of being rubbery. It didn’t feel like any effort had been made to prepare the food properly. The breakfast the next morning was very basic, just about acceptable. The room was fair for our budget; however, it had a strong moldy smell that made the stay uncomfortable. We had to call several times to get someone to spray air freshener. Moreover, despite booking for two adults and two children, the room was not prepared accordingly—we had to wait 40–50 minutes for extra water, pillows, and a blanket. After waiting, I decided to check the hallway and was fortunate to find two helpful housekeepers, Ms. Hira and Mr. Manjeel, who were incredibly kind and promptly provided what we needed. Their attitude and willingness to help were much appreciated. We understand that this is a budget-friendly hotel, and we appreciate the concept. However, service quality needs improvement to uphold the standards associated with the Accor brand. Lastly, a small suggestion: since many families stay at your hotel, it would be a great value addition to have a proper kids’ club or at least a dedicated kids’ corner with toys, coloring materials, and basic activities. It would go a long way in keeping children engaged and happy. Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback. Only downfall is the pool depth, not suitable for kids (aged 8-15) or small adults without floaties. Hahaha. Kids pool is too shallow also so they cant stay there as well. The weather is not yet super hot but the water in the pool is too cold. (Have to compare because the next day we transferred to a different hotel that we booked one week earlier in al barsha and the pool temperature and depth are perfect for all ages and height)

• r0ewie (6/5): Not a 4star hotel - Stayed with my family of four in this hotel for three nights. First impression upon arrival was already disappointing. We arrived by car and could not find a parking place as everything got quickly taken by taxis and drop offs. Then the bell boy came and started helping with the luggage, however in the midst of doing that another guest came and requested the bell boy’s assistance and surprisingly they both walked off to the hotel. Meanwhile we stood there in the middle of the hotel lane in the burning sun and the traffic situation was getting even worse as taxis and drop offs could not get by us. I had to run back to the hotel and request them for assistance. Fortunately a security guard came along and helped us with our luggage. Check-in was rather smooth, no complaints there and the lobby spacious and neat. Then we went upstairs to the rooms and there is already this musty smell in the hallways. When we entered the room, it had the same musty smell. Don’t bother opening the curtains as you’ll see sand and bird droppings covering the window. The bathroom was clean but needs to be renovated as it is in poor shape. For our children we requested an extra bed, which we got complimentary. However my 12year old could not sleep on it as the mattress was very hard and the blanket too thin to keep warm. The next day housekeeping fixed it, so problem solved. Breakfast was ok, but not much variety and during peak hours you’ll wait long before something gets refilled. All in all, having stayed at other 4star hotels this hotel does not meet 4 star quality. I would give it 3 stars at the most. Ending with a positive, it is opposite the city center mall which can be quite convenient.

We were Three persons and would be more comfortable to have single beds or separate duvets and softer pillows. We had everything for two people instead of Three ( cups, glasses, bathrobes).The breakfest were very tasty and The hotel service was helpful and kind. We liked The Area, close to shops and restaurants. And nice and warm water in a pool open till 8 oclock. They also made us a surprise giving a small birthdaycake to one of us( two of us had a birthday but we were not expected antything). Thank You

First, I would like to congratulate the hotel management for providing everything needed for an excellent stay. The quality of services is perfect. The lobby and restaurant areas are very beautiful, and all the staff are polite and friendly. There is always a pleasant fragrance and soothing, appropriate music in the air. The rooms are cleaned daily, and any shortages are immediately replenished. The food and desserts and sweets at the breakfast and lunch buffets is varied and very delicious. Supervisor Janaka is very polite he is nice man, as are the other staff whose names I don’t remember. The reception staff are also very welcoming. I received positive vibes from all the staff and waiters. The hotel is constantly being cleaned. The pool area and the pool water are clean and clear, and the new gym area is beautiful and well-equipped, making it great for a short stay. I truly did not find any negative points here. All the staff perform their duties correctly and genuinely respect the guests. I have previously stayed at Ibis One Central on Sheikh Zayed Road, and it was the same experience. Overall, I am very satisfied with Novotel in Dubai and highly recommend it to everyone. Although it is an economy hotel and not a luxury one, it truly exceeds the expectations of an economy hotel.

• sobia (6/5): - Breakfast was average, with more South Indian options. Reception service was okay but other staff around the hotel were amazing. Specially at entrance, swimming area, house keeping. They were brilliant and helpful. Chef and other staff at breakfast were efficient too.
• Mark (2/5): - Staff was generally helpful. However, new staff with change of shift gave our room away and we had to wait longer. Room had water damage, carpet was mouldy and twrribly smelly. Very concern for our health. We were given another roo. But the issues were the same. The smell was a little less and we only plan to stay for half a day so we put up with it. Very disappointed as we expected better from Novotel.
