- Go16091466441 (10/5): Two Stays - one Trip! - Started our 7 night trip at this hotel (prior to heading to Anu Dhabi) because we’d stayed here before and really like it. Little did we realise we’d be stranded and stay for a further 7 nights after we were supposed to be back home because of the conflict. Despite a very challenging time for their staff and guests, this hotel looked after us incredibly well. It’s a great location, near airport, situated on the creek and next to the IHG IC and Festival City mall. Everything is clean, lovely pool areas, good gym - brilliant, brilliant staff. Thank you for looking after us and making us feel very safe - special shout out to Jony at the pool bar and Michel on reception. We’ll be back ASAP.
- H2594UXwilliams (10/5): Unbeatable Staff and Hotel Location - I stayed at the Dubai Festival City Crowne Plaza during Feb/March 2026 and really a fabulous hotel, location and staff. View from my room was looking across the Dubai Creek towards the Mohammed bin Rashid Library and downtown Dubai so a view I never got tired of seeing. The Crowne Plaza location attached to the Festival City Mall was also very convenient and gave many great options for shopping, restaurants and coffee cafe’s. Also the Belgium Cafe was attached to the Crowne Plaza and, I think, was the best place in Dubai to enjoy a nightly drink out on the patio and the staff there was the best 👏. Really the staff throughout the Crowne Plaza was superb in every regard….from the efficient front desk staff that made check-in/check-out very smooth to housecleaning that always took great care of the room to the Zaytoun restaurant staff who’s friendly nature and service and delicious food always made the morning breakfasts and evening Iftar’s a highlight of the day. I unfortunately do not remember all the names of the outstanding staff at Crowne Plaze, Belgium Cafe and Zaytoun’s restaurant but for the breakfast staff Haider, Yoon and Peter were the one’s that predominately handled my table so I would like to recognize them. Location and convenience make the Festival City Crowne Plaza a great place to stay but the Crowne Plaza/Belgium Cafe/Zaytoun staff is the reason this will always be my hotel of choice when I am in Dubai.
- Tuckerton (10/5): High Quality Crowne Plaza Hotel - A stay enjoyed during a time of crisis. From the warm welcome to the wonderful view of Dubai Creek, this is a Crowne Plaza of note. Rooms are well maintained and very comfortable with little touches that help make your stay comfortable. There is easy access to Festival City Shopping Centre and the Abra to take you across the Creek to join Dubai Metro. All the staff were charming, helpful and doing their very best to make their guests comfortable at a challenging time.
- sharontatendag (10/5): Wonderful experience at Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City - I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, everything was welcoming, clean, and beautifully maintained. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax and truly enjoy my time there. A special thank you to Shanika, who was our waitress during our stay. She was exceptionally nice, warm, and attentive. Her friendly personality and genuine care made every meal a pleasure. Shanika went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s rare to come across someone who brings such positive energy and professionalism to their work. I highly recommend this hotel, and I truly hope Shanika receives recognition for her outstanding service. I’ll definitely be returning!

Super view of the creek, we never tired of looking across at the skyline 10 minutes from the airport, arranging the transfer through the hotel is highly recommended, £40 each way. The staff are super helpful from the seamless check in to our departure, and everyone is so courteous, we honestly felt like royalty, and the food was superb. We had a half board option and it represented fantastic value. I can strongly recommend the Anise world buffet which is in the hotel next door. Our rooms were made up every day and with fresh bottles of water to replace the empties. A particular mention to Rahul our housekeeper who was always so very helpful. I recommend this hotel 100% and will be returning next year.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough as a perfect setting, walking distance undercover to the shopping mall and all its amazing shops and restaurants - hope to stay again with you.

Thank you Arun for the smooth check in. Room was very nice and clean. You can choose between the 3 types of people they have. The view is very beautiful of the city. Breakfast was very good, they have international foods so many choices. The outdoor seating was very nice with this beautiful weather and the amazing view of Dubai. Prayer rooms are available on the ground floor. A very nice pool area, gym and spa, a kids area was also available. Although it was cold outside but they kept the pool warm throughout. Festival city mall is connected from the ground floor. One of the best malls in Dubai. Special thanx to all the staff who made our stay special and memorable including reception, house keeping and car valet parking. One of the best hotel stays. The front-of-house team were warm, professional, and welcoming, the porters were efficient and friendly, and the service from the waiters throughout our stay was exceptional. The lifeguards were always attentive and professional, and the housekeeping team kept our room immaculate, ensuring everything was spotless and comfortable each day. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Being situated in Festival City gave us a more local and relaxed feel compared to some of the busier tourist areas, while still offering easy access to everything we needed. The direct connection and short walk to Dubai Festival City Mall was incredibly convenient, making shopping, dining, and entertainment effortless. The buffet dining experience was another highlight of our stay. The food was high-end, beautifully presented, and offered an excellent variety, with high-quality ingredients and flavours that exceeded expectations for a buffet. Each meal felt well thought out and consistently delicious. Overall, Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City offers outstanding service, a superb location, and excellent dining. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return in the future.

- Tina2go (10/5): Great stay - Stayed for two nights as part of 9 night holiday in Dubai, in a creek view room. This was our 3rd visit as we love the location and being beside the Festival city Mall. Booked a standard room but the one we were given seemed bigger than before and had great views. Don’t know if we got a slightly better room. The room was not musty as was our last stay so I was very happy. Everything just worked for us and felt very comfortable. Staff were all very kind and helpful giving us a check in a few hours earlier and a couple of hours later at check out which made our visit better. We had breakfast in the buffet restaurant each day which was good and Dinner in the Anise buffet restaurant in the intercontinental hotel adjoining the hotel. Dinner had a wide choice and water and coffee is given if on half board which I like. The staff here were very pleasant and went out of their way to show us where to watch a firework display outside the hotel one night at Festival Bay. That was very kind. The two hotels share a large pool deck area with several pool options. Love this and the views over the creek. Like the recycled bottled water. The hotel has direct access to the mall which always has a nice more local buzzy feel to it with plenty of cafes, restaurants and large food court if you weren’t eating in the hotels. Great choice of shops and large supermarkets and entertainment options on your door step. This visit we used the boats in front of the hotel to visit the Creek harbour area and Al Jaddaf. The hotel does have a shuttle to one terminal at the airport at certain times too which would link you to the metro to explore further afield. Had never visited at this time of year before and loved all the hotel Christmas trees , flower displays and decorations. The pop up Marsa Boulivard in front of the hotel beside the waterfront added to the holiday weekend atmosphere, all the boats lit up at night , the light displays on buildings and the firework display at Al Seef too which we could see from our room.

Our hotel, the Crown Plaza in Festival City exceeded our expectations in everyway. The staff in all the restuarants were kind and considerate assisting my wife with gluten free options. The housekeeping team ensured our room was spotless at all times and the welcoming gifts of fruit and chocolates were very kind. On the subject of our room I must express our thanks to the hotel reception team Indi and Icael and the hotel managers for the unbeliavable upgrade to one of the best suites in the hotel. Not expected but such a nice surprise..We were on a halfboard deal at the Crown Plaza and managed to eat in all five restuarants on the site including the ones in the sister hotel the Intercontinental which is linked to the Crown Plaza. All the resturants were great with plenty of choices. The staff in all the restuarants were excellent with the ladies and staff at the breakfast venue particulary attentive and kind. The Crown Plaza is next to the Festival Mall which is a grest base for visiting Dubia with easy links to all that Dubia has to offer. The Mall has a vast array of shops and restuarants and even has a floor dedicated to childrens entertainment so a great base for families. To reach the centre of Dubia I would recommend the lovely trip across the Creek by the local taxi boats. A five minute trip on these small boats takes you across to the Creek Metro Green Line station which links up with Red line stations allowing you to reach all the main areas of the attractions that Dubia hads to offer. One bit of advice on the Metro...pay the extra for the Gold coaches, less crowded and nice leather seats... Finally, Dubia is a fabulous place, very clean, friendly, safe and breathtaking but the best thing about Dubia is the people.....

The breakfast is delicious, and with half board there is also a very good dinner buffet in the evening. It’s possible to switch dinner for lunch. On Thursdays and Fridays there is even an Arabic buffet that you can choose instead of the international one. There are several swimming pools and the staff are friendly and helpful.

As we arrived very late we were grateful that the hotel is only a short hop from the airport, making it a perfect choice for a short layover. Our room was exceptional, spacious with sumptuous bedding. Lovely toiletries and very handy amenities which we very much appreciated as, due to flight delays, we didn’t get to the room until 3am. We had an included breakfast and would wholeheartedly recommend this. Despite the hotel being exceptionally busy thanks to events and the Dubai Rugby 7’s teams staying, the choice and quality of breakfast was wonderful. Despite it probably being a pop up offer to the usual breakfast room, you really wouldn’t notice, extensive choice of Arabic, Indian, Asian and English hot choices as well as a wide choice of cold options. Service was impeccable. We will definitely stay again. This is our only choice when stopping over for a couple of nights in Dubai. The adjacent FestivalCity Mall is a great place to while away the hours and has recently been improved thanks to the new Market Kitchen restaurants.

Nothing seems too much trouble for example mentioned to Atta Haida of the house keeping team would welcome a pod coffee machine in room which duly arrived within 24 hours. Excellent breakfast with outside seating overlooking the canal is a wonderful setting to start the day. Location puts much readily at hand with Festival Mall having a 3 minute internal walk direct connection. No need to waste time with taxis. The Promnade offers excellent range of eating out opportunities again in great settings. And, of course one has the nightly laser fountain display as colorful boats take people on nightly dining cruises. The hotel has very efficient lifts symbolic of all that goes on. One person reviewed that the furniture is dated but that seems petty as they most likely did not like the deep brown color. The rooms are of a good comfortable size and well designed.

The location is good - close to DXB and close enough to the business district and the Burj. The rooms are of good size and clean (only the shower‘s water pressure could be better). The food selection at breakfast and dinner is wide and food quality is extremely good. At breakfast, Puran, Atif and Iwan were very attentive and during dinner, Sabal was always kind, helpful and quick. The other facilities are also very nice - we used the gym, spa and pool of the Interconti. At the pool, Bijaya, Thushara, Timothy, Ruchan as well as Marc (Poolbar) went above and beyond to make our and our children’s time top. All in all, again, a very pleasant stay and, despite the many guests, the staff made one feel „special“.

However this time I have to say that even without mentioning anyone by name, the staff at this hotel is truly what makes the difference. It doesn’t matter if they are at breakfast, by the pool, at the reception or handling valet service, they were all exceptional. This is a solid 10 out of 10. This hotel is worth it because of the incredible people who keep it running!

Being recognized after two years says something truly beautiful about their character and the mutual respect we share. The breakfast is still amazing, and the dinner buffet at Anise is simply Michelin star-worthy. After eight days, we still couldn’t get enough of the incredible flavors. Then it was into the Anise restaurant for our lunch Never in all the hotels I have stayed in and I have stayed nearly all over the world have we ever had staff and chef,s that have been so welcoming and kind.Firstly our now very good friend Glaida she went above and beyond for us and made our holiday 1 of best we have ever had (I am nearly crying thinking how much we miss her).She looked after us with her staff of course every day and did her job perfectly thank you all so much.(see you in December we can't wait).I must say that everywhere in the hotel and next door in intercontinental hotel which we used a lot was absolutely spotlessly clean Everywhere. The food in Anise changed every day and was delicious the sweets where exquisite and to die for. We also made friends with the chefs they were all very nice and so professional. Chef Ali also has become our friend and looked after us he was the best fun and we laughed everyday with him we also miss him so much. The food (Indian)was the best we had had in any in restaurant at home top class.As was the Asian, fish,sushi,soups absolutely everything so a huge thank you to everyone in restaurant Anise including bar staff who made the most refreshing drinks. We are going back in December and we probably will not go anywhere else in dubai and that is a huge statement but if you go you will know why,it's not how big or posh or fabulous a hotel is it's all down to the staff and this hotel and ajoining hotel intercontinental have got the kindest, helpful most professional staff we have ever had.
