• juliansS1561ZQ (10/5): Birthday Trip - From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Our two suitcase collected by reception and taken to our awaiting room whilst we completed a very swift check in! The room was beautifully decorated and had a lovely size bed and coffee and tea making facilities! The hotel and surrounding areas are beautiful and so well maintained! The pool area is stunning plenty of Sunbeds to choose from and is so relaxing! The food and service was excellent throughout our stay and staff are so friendly and on point! There are some lovely bars and restaurants outside the hotel too but still very quiet area! Would love to return some time! Thank You Hotel Kazbek!
• dmnickel (10/5): Beautiful Small Local Hotel - Hotel Kazbek is perfect for those who prefer small local hotels rather than generic large tourist hotels. The staff was very friendly and attentive with advice about taking a shortcut to the #6 bus into Old Town. The rooms were attractive and comfortable with modern baths. There is a lovely seafood restaurant just a 5-minute walk along the marina. We were there in early April, but I'd love to enjoy the outside tables and pool in late spring or summer. Breakfast was included in our travel itinerary. We enjoyed ordering off the menu (pistacchio croissants!) as a change from the traveler's buffet found in most hotels. We did eat dinner in the restaurant the first night since we'd just arrived in Croatia that morning. The meal was very good -- not average hotel food -- and the service very attentive since the hotel was almost empty prior to the tourist season. Highly recommended if this is your style of accommodations.

We did not eat in the restaurant, but then staff was very helpful. If you don’t mind being outside the Old Town, would definitely recommend.

• Sarah (9/5): Wonderful & charming hotel. - Very friendly & helpful staff. Room was lovely and comfortable. It was chilly but we still jumped in the pool for a few minutes and then used the hotel's sauna which was great. Neighborhood is nice for walking around & only a 5 minute drive from Dubrovnik old town. The shutters outside the windows were creaky in the wind at night and woke us up a few times.
• aliciarT3819WC (10/5): Awesome luxurious stay at Lapad - Best hotel in Lapad. We found this hotel through our credit card benefits. It was awesome. The rooms are spacious and clean. They have a turn down service at night. The property is luxurious and the service spectacular. We happened to visit during the good food fest and the manager ( Vinka) helped coordinate a vegan meal for my husband. She checked in with us when we arrived due to a little miscommunication about a reservation at Lopud. Wonderful customer service. If we return to Dubrovnik, we are definitely staying at Kazbek again! Book it. Don’t hesitate. Location is in Lapad, easy to take a boat to nearby islands. You can take a bus that goes to the old town.
• Sara (9/5): A luxurious quiet escape in a beautiful Dubrovnik location - The boutique hotel is a beautifully restored property that is subtly elegant with modern facilities. It really feels like living in a Venetian or a Lake Como villa. It's just incredibly beautiful! The room was luxurious and spacious, elegantly decorated. We love the breakfast provided, especially the coffee, juices, eggs and the grilled vegetables. We also love the afternoon cake and coffee time - the modern apple strudel was gone in a few seconds, so scrumptious! I would like to also convey my appreciation to one of the staff who sorted our room temperature (the first night our room was really stuffy and we found out the room was indeed too hot temperature-wise from her), and another staff member who provided us with milk for our room and breakfast box for an early day trip start. So sorry I did not remember their names but thank you to all of them! We love the location in Lapad, near to a lively promenade with good restaurants and shops. Lapad felt more like a family area. Easy to get an Uber or bus to the Old Town. We did walk to the Old Town once but it was too long and not scenic. Take an Uber! It's probably the way the hotel wants to serve breakfast but we would rather have a buffet set out (for the drinks, cold items and bread) for self-service, rather than ordering our meals/drinks because it felt we were somewhat bothering the staff. On that note, we also had a staff during two breakfasts which sorry, I felt was a bit condescending to us to a point I really wanted to finish breakfast fast and get out of sight. It slightly dampen the spirit of being in such a beautiful environment. Maybe she needed to take a break or something after a long shift.

• Leigh (10/5): Perfectly located and immaculately presented hotel - ticks every box for a relaxing break - breakfast is served daily from an a la carte menu with table service to a very high standard. The pool was quiet and secluded with plenty of beds, towels and waiter service which was perfect for relaxing. Every aspect of the hotel was of the highest standard and all the staff from the cleaners to reception to the waiters were helpful and courteous throughout our stay

The food was exceptional in quality and appearance. The location is a bit of the beaten track but in a reasonable area and we felt safe walking at night after our meal though there is not a lot to look at. Breakfast was very good from an a la carte menu but all items both hot and cold were served at the same time and not as courses. Despite this a very good stay.

Located 15 mins bus ride from Old Town, the area is just as cool with many bars, restaurants and the waterfront surrounding the hotel. It was super quiet and peaceful. The bed was very comfy…we slept so well. We loved returning each afternoon to rest at the pool. The service was impeccable and the breakfast plentiful and delicious. An amazing stay!! Cannot recommend enough!

Breakfast was wonderful all freshly prepared and we stayed in for dinner once as the weather was wet and had a lovely evening meal here too. Staff are so helpful and the hotel is really nicely decorated and set out. Room are so clean and comfortable highly recommend this hotel. I would love to return.

On the last day, I had to check out early in the morning for my flight, and when I consulted the front desk about it the day before, they kindly explained the route to the airport and even arranged a wake-up call and a breakfast box for me. • marie pierre (9/5): Oui mais... - La localisation tout d abord, juste en face de la Marina, c est joli et calme. La chambre et l établissement en général sont charmants, parfaitement équipés. La piscine est très agréable, les transats confortables. On peut rejoindre très facilement la vieille ville en bus Petites attentions delicates comme le chocolat déposé sur le chevet le soir Le fait de devoir choisir le petit déjeuner à la carte nous a privés du plaisir d' un joli buffet bien présenté. Il pourrait y avoir au moins un petit assortiment de confitures et de pain sur chaque table, à compléter selon nos envies. Enfin, le Mr qui s est occupé de notre check out s est montré d une froideur extrême, presque choquante dans ce genre d établissement ! Il était certes 6h30 du matin , il n en demeure pas moins qu un minimum de politesse serait de mise ! Pas un bonjour, pas un merci, rien qui encourage à y revenir !

• davidpL4106NZ (10/5): Beautiful hotel in a great location - Lovely hotel, rooms really well appointed, breakfast fabulous and pool area is perfect!! The bus from the old town stops right outside the hotel. I would also recommend walking to sunset beach, takes 10 mins from the hotel and passes lovely restaurants and bars. Take the coastal path when you reach the beach for a beautiful early morning or sunset walk.
• Johns (8/5): Quiet hotel outside the city center. - I enjoyed that the hotel provided a quiet escape from the very busy old town area, and we were within walking distance of several restaurants and bars in the Lapad area. The restaurant and the bar were of limited value. After having breakfast at the hotel, I was glad that we’d booked dinners elsewhere. It also difficult at times to find someone working the bar—it seems the hotel runs on very few staff. Relatedly, the pool bar/restaurant doesn’t open until 1 pm, which we thought seemed late.

• Patrikc CHILD (10/5): A superlative hotel, would definitely recommend. - Very welcoming staff. The room had views in 2 directions and very efficient air conditioning. Super large bathroom with a shower and a bath. Varied offering for breakfast , but provided in a way to make minimal waste. The hotel is a bus ride from the historic city centre, so we spent some time waiting for the very busy bus. But good to escape the bustle.

They took really good care of us, with a lot of attention, even to details. The hotel is rather pricey (as is everything in Dubrovnik). The pool bar closes at 6 pm, which is relatively early.

• Lyndsie (10/5): - The hotel was very nice and our room was clean and spacious. The restaurant was nice and the pool grounds were great. Beach is walkable along with multiple restaurants. The old city is also walkable and such a beautiful place to visit.
• William (9/5): A fabulous boutique hotel away from the crowds. - Beautiful building and courtyard. We had a fantastic room (number 10) double aspect with four windows and a dressing room. It’s not got that many rooms so doesn’t feel too busy and is far away enough from Old Town to feel like you’ve got away from the crowds despite it being peak season. But is close enough to be only a 15 minute drive away. Well located for ferries to the Elephiti islands and close to Coral beach club which is great mid-week for some uncrowded beach time. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast too. Almost nothing, my one recommendation is that the bathrooms could be modernised but ours was absolutely spotless and perfectly adequate. So just a minor point.

• 991nigels (10/5): A great boutique hotel. - I would highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel, situated on the marina with many restaurants within walking distance and yet when you step back into the hotel grounds it is so peaceful. We also had a beautiful dinner in the hotel, with a fabulous terrace bar overlooking the marina, breakfast is served in the courtyard, with an extensive menu. Large bedroom with all the amenities provided. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. Plenty hotel car parking. Dubrovnik old town is a short taxi ride.

• Nigel (10/5): Look no further, best hotel - This is a beautiful boutique style hotel, with wonderful staff. We had an excellent dinner on our first night. Breakfast each morning was served in the courtyard, a very extensive menu with many choices. The marina is straight across the road, with many restaurants nearby, we got a taxi into Dubrovnik Old Town or a 35 minute walk. Shower over bath.
• Danilo (7/5): - Boa localização, apesar de estar distante da Old Town. Dear Sirs, We stayed at your hotel to have an excellent experience. However, upon I arrivaed, I was rudely treated by someone because I was smoking in the outdoor area of the hotel. I confess that, despite the information on Booking.com that the hotel is smoke-free, it wasn't made clear that it would also be in the outdoor area. Furthermore, at check-in, I wasn't informed of this! The employee was very rude, saying that I was causing a disturbance to the guests, as if I wasn't one myself, being treated that way. He simply didn't explain to me that the entire hotel was smoke-free (only later, the employee in reception had informed me!). I'm a very polite person. I looked for signs around where it said smoking was prohibited in that area and couldn't find any, so I immediately left the hotel. I confess that the next time I go there, I will never go there again, not because it's a smoke-free hotel, which really isn't a problem, but because of the way I was treated.
• Ernesto Duarte (8/5): Schönes und ruhiges Hotel am Hafen - Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen, der Innenhof und der Poolbereich laden zum Verweilen ein. Die Zimmer sind gross und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich, kann aber in der Regel kein Deutsch, obwohl es so angegeben wird. Hätten wir gewusst, dass das Hotel keine Raucher wünscht und es auch keinen Platz zum (Zigarren-) Rauchen gibt, hätten wir das Hotel nicht gebucht. Platz hätte es eigentlich genug, zum Beispiel in der Lounge auf der Terrasse. Auch hätten wir nicht dort am Abend gegessen. Zum Glück fanden wir in der Nähe ein Lokal, wo auch Raucher willkommen sind.

• Eugenia (9/5): Nett aber keine 5* Experience - Charmante Zimmer mit kroatischen Einflüssen. Kurze Wege da kleines Hotel. Schöner Innenhof zum Frühstücken. Ganz in der Nähe konnte man Bootsausflüge unternehmen. Mir war die Matratze zu steif. Es waren über 30 Grad als ich dort war und dann war es um 9:00 in dem Innenhof schon zu warm zum Frühstücken. Auch am Pool viel zu warm, weil kein Lüftchen weht und es fehlt die frische Meeresbrise. Das Hotel liegt am Hafen und keinem Strand. Ich denke, das Hotel ist eher eine gute Wahl bei nicht ganz so warmen Temperaturen. Das Hotelrestaurant ist auf Google gut bewertet, aber es war überhaupt nicht gut besucht. Insgesamt wirkt das Hotel etwas eingeschlafen.

• Sally (9/5): Lovely hotel would definitely return - The location is good, out of the old town, by the marina, with a regular No.6 bus outside every 10 minutes to take you in. The swimming pool area is lovely and calm, the pool isn’t huge but it’s very nicely done, with good seating, beds and shades. Food was good, breakfast not buffet, but waiter service and freshly prepared good quality. We also had lunch which was a set menu and very tasty. • cottaa14 (10/5): What an AMAZING boutique hotel - What an AMAZING hotel. It was better than we expected. Only 12 rooms but they are lovely. We were on first floor & overlooked the court yard, room was lovely, very traditional and quite. The terrace on the same floor overlooked the marina, perfect place to press the buzzer for a drink in the evening. Breakfast is served in the court yard from a la carte menu and served to your table. Pool area is lovely, with more that enough sun beds etc. Great location for short walk to marina, Lapad with plenty of restaurants and the bus stop to the old town. • Uiyeon (10/5): 앤티크와 클래식!! - 올드타운에서 차로 10분 거리인 라파드쪽인데 한적하니 좋습니다! 6번 버스타면 바로 올드타운까지 갑니다. 게다가 라파드해변까지 걸어서 10분..? 정도면 가고 그 동네도 새로워요! 무료로 주차도 가능하고 숙소 자체가 클래식하니..제 스타일이었어요! 인셉션에서 체크인 도와주는 분도 엄청 친절하고 수영장이랑 사우나가 있어서 좋았습니다! 조식도 맛있고 저녁에 식당에서 농어랑 스테이크 먹었는데 비싸지 않고 엄청 맛있었어요! 매일 두번은 청소해주시는 것 같고..수압도 세고 침대도 편안해서 잘 쉬다 왔어요! 숙소 자체가 앤티크하니 예뻐요! 없습니다~
• Bourn07 (10/5): Fantastic Boutique Hotel With Lovely Team - Our first stay at Hotel Kazbek and a lovely one. The hotel is quiet, spotless and beautifully furnished. The staff are friendly, polite and professional. The deluxe double room was spacious and well furnished. The swimming pool is a delight with some large parasols for much needed shade, at times. The casual poolside menu was great, from 1pm. Breakfast in the courtyard is very enjoyable, and a lovely start to the day, with a varied menu, served to the table. Take the No 6 bus, from outside the hotel, to the end of the line, and then back into the Old Town, for an easy journey to Pile Gate. A wonderful stay and highly recommended. My only suggestion would be for a more ‘casual’ evening menu on the terrace, overlooking the port.
• Bevwrigley (10/5): Excellent hotel - Couldn’t fault this hotel at all, quiet and peaceful. Lovely staff, pool pretty much to ourselves even in June. Waiter service breakfast, good restaurants and bars along the waterfront Bit of a trek into town, but good Uber coverage, you can walk y and get the no6 bus but prepare for a scrum. Nice easy 40 min walk back from centre if you give up on the bus

• 898karenm (10/5): First time in Croatia. - The first time for us visiting Croatia and what a lovely hotel! We stayed in room 21 which was spacious and very comfortable. Only 12 rooms in this hotel so very exclusive. The staff are so nice and friendly and helped us so much with making our way around Dubrovnik. Located across from the marina and lots of nice walks round the coast for lovely views. The breakfast is superb and the pool area is lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Really quiet, pretty courtya - A really nice surprise, somehow we didn’t expect it to be this nice! Nothing, it was all perfect (although possibly the music by the pool might have got to me over a longer stay).

Facilities including heated pool and delightful patio...access to plenty of good local restaurants complement the excellent hotel dining including full breakfast until 11am...Top hotel, perhaps the best Dubrovnik has to offer!

• KPSomerset (10/5): The place to stay if you visit Dubrovnik - Excellent hotel. Located on the marina, which is about 40 minutes walk from the old town. We stayed in their Deluxe double room. Great views to front over the marina and out back looking onto the pool and very private. For so few rooms (and therefore potential guests) this hotel has all the facilities you would expect of a great boutique hotel. We will stay again. They were very helpful in arranging our collection from the airport, we arrived early, well before check in time and that wasn't a problem and neither was the fact that we were departing late because of our flight. This hotel could not have been more accommodating. Great breakfast too.
• Peter (10/5): - What can I say… but; was amazing! Loved every minute of my 4 night stay. Location was perfect. A 2mile walk (each way) into the walled old city was nice and some of the views were great on the way… and there was a circular walk in Lapad that had some of the best views of the blue sea. Pool area was fantastic and every member of the team that we came across couldn’t do enough for us. Even remembering our order for breakfast and drinks (we should have mixed it up). Really gave the personal touch that was great (as were the chocolates every day). Room was big and spacious as was the bathroom. Separate shower and bath was good. Organised transfers which were also great. 10/10!

The breakfast was excellent. Staff was very helpful. It was easy to take the bus to and from the Old City. Highly recommended.

• John (10/5): - Really wonderful boutique accommodations. Twelve rooms total. We had a suite which was huge. Full breakfast included. Staff is super helpful and always at your service. Wonderful pool are that was never crowded. One of the finest hotels I have stayed in and right across from the Marina with great restaurants up and down the strip and a fabulous restaurant in the hotel.

• Sahara (9/5): Comfortable, great breakfasts and customer service. - Clean. Very charming. Staff were excellent. Peaceful. Felt like a guest being treated to a great experience. Fantastic breakfasts. Our room had the wow factor but not as useful as it looked. Lacking storage space. We kept banging our thighs on the corner of the bed have a few bruises to show for it. Room 12 Great bathroom.

• Carolyn (10/5): - About a 30 minute walk from the old town - close to a bus stop though, and we enjoyed being a bit separated from the chaos. Hotel was fantastic, we plan to stay here again if we ever return. Nice pool and rooftop.

• Mark (10/5): - It is one of the best hotel experiences ever. It was first class, five starish, totally professional...the breakfast was high class, yet free, and even the parking was free! The whole staff was very friendly and first-rate.
