• Verified traveler (4/5): - This should be a glowing review of clean spacious room, impressive gym or beautiful pool. Instead, I was left with a very negative impression of this hotel as a result of the check-out procedure where I was asked to wait while they "check my room for any forgotten items." I've traveled a lot don't have a problem with a property wanting to check for damage or stolen items. My problem is being lied to, not informed in advance to allow extra time at check-out and the long, insulting process I experienced. After more than 10 minutes waiting for them to "check for any forgotten items" the phone at the front desk rang and the gentleman tells me "oh, housekeeping tells me there's a line on one of the TVs, do you know about it?" I had no idea what they were talking about so requested they show me this "line." We went to the room together and the TV is on and the housekeeper points out a burnt-out line going across the top of the screen maybe the thickness of a hair. No crack in the screen, no physical damage. They asked if I had noticed it - which I hadn't since the sofa was several meters from the screen and I had the guy from the desk stand at the sofa and look at the screen. Impossible to see the line. At this point he surely understood that line wasn't anything a guest could cause, but all he could say was "it'll probably be OK." Back downstairs he called the manager and repeated the same "probably be OK" line when he got off the phone. That after 20 minutes checking out.
• Wali (8/5): - Excellent place to stay and very clean. The only thing I was disappointed for was that I was looking one night and got booked for two. I mentioned to the receptionist and was advised to talk to Expedia and change it since I booked through Expedia and I did so. Expedia talked to the hotel management but they didn’t change and I ended up paying for two nights and stayed only from 8:00am to 10:00 pm.

• Khalil (8/5): - Good overall -- friendly staff and efficient housekeeping, and getting food delivered to the room was very easy. All of the appliances in the apartment worked well and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Guest parking was slightly inconvenient as it required access to two buildings and two elevators, and the constant traffic jams around the hotel were frustrating.
• Mohammed (8/5): - This is a nice apartment hotel that is a 3-minute walk to the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) metro stop and a 5-minute walk to the DWTC itself. There is a small grocery store about a 1 minute away. The property is well located, has a great gym and pool. The cleaning crew really made an effort to keep everything spic and span on a daily basis. The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful. A little disappointed with the interior. For the location and money, the decor is dated and run-down. The property could benefit from some modernization / remodeling. Also, the air conditioning was great (we were there in the summer when Dubai temperatures were hovering around 105 degrees F) but was a little uneven; the second bedroom (which, btw, has a sliding door) was quite warm and the only way to cool it down was to keep the door open so the living room vent would cool down it down.

• Eric Gordon (10/5): - We needed a place to stay near the Dubai convention center, and this place is literally across the highway. You walk through the (air conditioned!) train station to cross the highway and you are at the World Trace/Convention center. friendly staff got us an plug adapter when we realized we needed and extra one. 2 bedroom suite was HUGE with an enormous open area with couches and a TV. (Note - NO Parties allowed.) Decent dining options nearby, and also a grocery store which is nice because our room had a full kitchen.

• PrashantKumar (10/5): - We travelled with family and kids, every thing was great. Staff gets out of their way to help you. Very nice 👍. Highly recommend premier room with 2 bedrooms, it is bit on pricey side but having space is worth it.
• Ronald (10/5): Dubai for half term - My first choice if visiting Dubai. 15 minutes from airport and metro outside. On main road with huge choice of places to eat and hotels and Irish bars to visit. Excellent pool and gym. Boss location and wonderful staff. Have stayed in Dubai over a dozen times and always look to see if Ascot has availability.

I asked the IT and management to improve it, they said they did but it only got worse. Less than 8MB speed is like a flashback to the 90's - nowadays, internet below 100mg is unexaptable.

Down the street and opposite the hotel, there are restaurants and supermarkets. Location is great! The apartment we booked was a 2-storey apartment, which was not mentioned during the booking. The bedroom was a level down once you enter the apartment. So for those who is not a fan of stairs and lugging the baggage down to the bedrooms, please take note. Travelled in a group of 4 and checking into 1 single apartment. The service at the reception was great. Even helped me to book an Uber to the airport. What's frustrating is the daily call to housekeeping to tell them I need 4 sets of toiletries (towels and all..) instead of two. Otherwise, my experience will be great!
• Andre B (10/5): Spacious rooms. Great place to stay - Check-in was very easy. We arrived on a red-eye but since the room was not yet ready, we were offered to rest at their lounge, and use the gym's toilets if we needed a shower. I find that to be very convenient while the room is being prepared. The room was very spacious and housekeeping kept it tidy daily. Overall, a great place to stay in Dubai.

If there was a breakfast provided by the hotel would have been perfect. There is cafe Bateel in reception which provides good breakfast but was pricey.

Only two bath towels in the apartment and when we asked for more we were told there were no towels until the next morning and then we had to chase up the next morning. 2.no bottle opener on the apartment - so many kitchen utensils in the apartment except this one. One was brought to the room but we had to return it as another apartment wanted one.

• Abid (8/5): Perfect Location with Nice View - This review is based on our stay in 2 bedrooms suite on 34th floor. The suite had panoramic view of Sheikh Zayed Road from all rooms. Nicely laid out plan and spacious rooms. The only minor drawback was early morning day light because of blinds instead of curtains. TV cable and internet speed was perfect, no issues with them. Beds were comfortable and nice clean sheets. Plenty of pillows and you can request extra blanket or sheets. Sofas in living area are huge and big enough to use as single beds. Kitchen needs more plates and a toaster. Only 4 small plates were provided. Overall, we liked our stay at this hotel and would try it again.
• Kevin G (8/5): Convenient and clean hotel - Great hotel, very friendly staff who can't do enough for one. Daily room cleaned and daily tea and coffee replenished. Our room and sitting room had a view but unfortunately windows were high up so have to stand up to see view. On the downside - room wasn't ready by check in time - had to wait 3/4 if an hour but they were very apologetic. When getting to room we only had 2 queen beds and go jump in the lake 5th bed. I had requested 3 singles and one queen. I assume hotel.com should have seen to it that hotel was able to cater for 5 people which is what I had booked for. Luckily the ascott was kind enough to give us another bed for free but would have cost us an extra $150 per night otherwise. So if you are booking for 5, be careful of this small print!
• kids and me (8/5): Christmas with grown up kids - Ascott park place was superb location with the metro close by -3 minute walk We had a two bedroom apartment really spacious clean with two bathrooms even a washing machine. Only thing lacked was not enough towels so we had to ask Also if you go to pool take money as you cannot charge the meal to your room Definitely recommend this hotel

• Verified traveler (10/5): Maybe the best hotel I have stayed in! - This is a wonderful hotel with great amenities. I'd like to stay here again. .you only valid concern is in regards to a crib I requested. I booked multiple nights and complained to the reception day after day and they didn't get me a crib until the last night. I think the lack of availability of cribs should never be a reason to not make an effort in trying to resolve this issue for a guest. Simply said I would recommend this hotel to those without toddlers as we had a hard time working things out without a crib.
• Hamid (10/5): Super comfy - this hotel was very convenient. I stayed there for 11 nights. The apartment had 2 large bedroom. It was comfy like my own home. The metro accessibility was great. The staff were super kind and helpful, whatever I needed they provided me immediately. everyday there was a nice guy came to clean our room. He was great, he even washed our dirty dishes. The only issue was that I requested highway view in higher levels, upon arrival they gave me a sea view room, and they told me that they would change my sea view room as soon as the other room becomes available. that never happened though.

• PREMA (8/5): Highly recommended hotel apartment - We arrived at the hotel at 10.30 am. We waited in their lounge located on the 5th floor and at around 12.30 pm we got into our apartment. Positives: The hotel is centrally located. Only 10 mins taxi ride to Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. World Trade centre metro station is only half a mins walk from the hotel. There are lots of fast food, restaurants, cafes etc nearby and a supermarket which was very convenient for us as we bought a lot of things from there. It was a very clean and spacious 2 bedroom executive apartment. All the necessary things were provided in the kitchen. Teabags, milk and 2 small boxes of cereal were there too. 4 bottles of water were provided everyday. House-keeping was very good too. The apartment was cleaned everyday. The view was very nice from our rooms. We enjoyed the sunset and sunrise. All the staff we dealt with were very attentive and friendly. Negatives: There was strong smell of cigarette in the bathroom and the utility room. We reported this and someone arrived to check this out straightaway. The problem was resolved and we did not face this issue again. I stayed in this hotel with my family ( 10 months old baby and 8 year old child) and we enjoyed our stay very much. The only reason I would not go back to this hotel is because I would like to try something new. Otherwise there are no problems at all. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
• Janae (10/5): Very good quality - The room was fantastic and clean. Good space and wonderful view of Dubai. Linens were comfortable. Bed could be improved as was rather stiff, but not too terrible. Parking was easily accessible. I commend management on promptly addressing our one issue with our stay. Upon arrival at 2pm check-in time, our room was not yet cleaned. We ended up waiting a whole hour in the lobby which was quite inconvenient. The manager was accommodating and upgraded our stay from a 2 bedroom suite, to 3 bedroom in order to speed up our check-in. Though we could have been better informed from the start about the length of time til a ready room, the service recovery provided was appreciated.
• Margaret (8/5): Good value for your money. - This was my second stay at Ascott Park Place and I enjoyed my stay very much. But when it comes to the ventilation something has to be done. There is no window that can be opened. It means if you cook food which has quite strong smell the whole apartment gets smelly. Perhaps it would have been better if I had the airconditioner turned on the whole time. Is that how it works if thw apartment is designed unable to let the fresh outside air to flow in? Nevertheless, it is a great place to stay with large numbers of your companion together. Oh you have to ask for a frying pan with house keeping. There is no frying pan unless you ask and the knives are very very dull. Perhaps it would be better if you bring swiss knife with you. That's what I will do next time I stay at this place.

Started from the reception that is where you build your first impression, i was lectured, directed and ordered to obey rules that did not make any sense, i was forced to wright an email even though i said i have no email and the funny part the receptionist said i will only pass it this time but next time i won’t as it is a rule, and my response was simply, if it is a rule you shouldn’t wave it for me, third i was asked then to sign the content of the apartment while in the reception before even getting into it, while i refused. Last, i was directed to as well take a good care of the keys as they are not going to replace them or give me any copy if i missed them. The whole experience was about directing, ordering lecturing and instructing. The manager in duty witnessed the whole situation and i took her on a side to explain my disappointment, while she interrupted and directed me to listen to her, and my response was simply if a customer was talking and trying to complain you should first listed not asking him to shut up and listen to you first. Last when finally entered my apartment i came to find that my towels have stains on them, the carpet was dirty with black spots. There are no Taxi have ever find the hotel at any time till I explain the hotel next to it which is the Fairmount, so it isn’t famous.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent apartment - The property is relatively new, and beautifully appointed. The apartment was very convenient for a week long stay, with a fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer. It's a good room to share, except if one person gets up, or stays up, much later than the other. Due to the loft configuration, any noise made downstairs really carries into the bedroom. If you're on the same schedule it wouldn't be a problem. Also, Café Bateel in the lobby is one of the best restaurants.
• Gene (10/5): Work place review - Internet was intermittent at best. Upstairs shower had very little flow. Breakfast NOT included with a $400/night room?? Pool facilities quite far from the rooms. Still an amazing facility worth trying again. Hopefully someone from the hotel will read this and work on it.

• Dick Schmitt (10/5): Perfect for long or short term stay! - Very large and well equipped room in a very central location. Excellent athletic facilities and swimming pool.
• Hend (10/5): Perfect Stay - Very comfortable , exceeded my expectations, we stayed twice and defiantly going again. Very welcoming staff, polite and helpful 24/7 The prices can be a bet high but totally worth it. We have our own parking with separate entrance to it. Very nice gym. small but effective, with a lovely outdoor swimming pool. The apartments have great view. We stayed in 2 different apartments, one of them with 2 floors. The only issue that we had that the reception won’t provide more than 2 keys for the apartment, and sometimes you need more than 2 because you must the key to get access to the elevator plus you can only get to your floor. Otherwise you need to go to the reception and they will swap the card for you to go to a different floor. Everything else is just perfect. I would highly recommend it for families with kids and friends. It can be optimum for those couples who seek a quit peaceful stay. The area around is hotel is perfect. You have supermarket and pharmacy around. Both can deliver your items to you.
• Robin (10/5): Top place to stay. - The apartment we stayed in was vast. And beautifully equipped. With stunning views towards sheik zayed road and the coast. Really very nice place and 24 hour restaurant and store downstairs. Was very happy to stay here and to recommend to anyone
• Holiday Maker (4/5): Meh - Was given a look of contempt by the snoody blonde male staff member upon arrival. I believe this is because I arrived in a surf singlet. It was NOT five star reception at all. The hotel itself is not 5 star. It is very average and there are FAR better hotels in Dubai. It is however located conveniently near a subway stop. The pool is freezing cold and they would only give us one keycard for four people in our apartment. I would not stay here again as for the price you can get better. There is no wow factor with anything in this hotel. The gym is pretty good.
• Roya (8/5): Homey,clean and well equipped,good access to all e - The hotel was quiet and modern,well furnished and equipped,nice surroundings,the pool was not heated though,too cold to swim even at noon,the gym was really nice
• Pamela Fuller (10/5): - The location was fine, if you were business oriented and was centrally located. Next time, and there will be, we would stay closer to the Marina, but LOVED the apartment, with it's two bedrooms, two nice baths, living room and kitchen! I would definitely recommend the Hotel to any business travellers, and even though it was in the business district, the cab service to anywhere was superb!

• Sarwar (10/5): Ascott Park Place - Excellent location. For a family of four this hotel suite worked out great - spacious and comfortable.
• colette (10/5): superb helpful staff - we booked on the day we arrived as we were visiting our sick grandson, the staff were really helpful the accomadation was superb, the manager even let us stay in our room after checkout time free of charge till we left for the airport.They were very understanding in what was an extremly difficult situation.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Family - - We stayed here as a Family, 2 Adults, 3 kids (16-14-10) in a 2 bedroom apartment. We requested an extra bed in advance for the youngest, but this didn't work out. This was the only minus point. The apartment was very large and comforable. We only used the kichten for breakfast. The pool is good. We didn't use the gym but it looked well equipt. we used the Sauna and steam room, both small but useable. The Metro is just outside the door. Near the hotel is a supermarket which has everything. English pub is nearby in the next hotel. I can recomend this hotel for a family with kids because the whole family can stay very comfortably for the price of a normal double room
• Cameron (10/5): Great hotel, great location. - Stayed in the Ascott Park Place hotel for 6 nights. It wasn't serviced the first day, but was every day afterwards. Free paper everyday. Wifi in the gym / pool area or in the Park Central cafe at the base of the building. It seems the Ascott has recently changed from being called The Place, as both names are written on things. Taxi driver's don't know where either are, so we ended up telling people it was between the Fairmont and the Crowne Plaza. Either that or tell them to drop you at the World Trade Centre Metro station and cross Sheik Zayed Rd at the metro overpass. We got a view of the gulf/coast and one of the days it was clear enough to see The World, or what's there of it ! Supermarket (LIFCO) few hundred meters down the road towards the Emirates Towers, on the same side as the Ascott. KFC, Burger King, McDonalds all in the vicinity but open at 10am. Subway opens earlier. Try the Fountain Cafe further down S-Z Rd for a more authentic meal, at night the locals fill it up, so it must be ok. Wagamamas at the Crowne Plaza serve alcohol. For a treat, go to Vu's Bar on Floor 51 of the Jumeriah Emirates Towers for a drink. Expensive, but you pay for the view I guess too. Good gym & pool facilities at the hotel. Hotel's location is good because it is in between Dubai Creek where, if you are doing tourist things you should be going, and Jumeriah Beach Residence & Marina, for more touristy things as well as bars & restaurants, and also the Malls are down the road too. Avoid August, even the locals leave for a month !
• Sumit (8/5): Great apartments, mediocre staff/breakfast - Excellent location / apartments. Very clean and spacious. Couldn't be happier! The frontdesk staff is not the best/smartest in the world. Taking a breakfast order took 4 tries. On that note the room delivered breakfast simply sucks. Cold food, warm juice and cold hot chocolates!
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Not 500 yards from Dubai Mall. Much longer, taxi necessary.
• Ahmed (6/5): Not the best - new building, nice design, but master bedroom does not have ensuite bathrom, and door is sliding which is not enough of privacy. hotel did not have an extra bed. no concierge.
• EuroPhilly (4/5): Not impressed with The Place.... - The Place is a grand, well designed, nice amenities, apartment hotel. But....some of the services and attention to detail is something to be desired. There are no wireless capabilities, problem by itself. Also, on the second floor there is nowhere to plug in for internet. So you are stuck downstairs if you want to use the notebook. No television in the second floor bedroom. The kitchen. Before moving in, there was an inventory sheet of all the items within the apartment. It clearly says there is a frying pan in the apartment. They consider a pot with a handle, a frying pan. A regular pot with lid, make no mistake of it. I asked, 'do u eat eggs?' he said 'yes', i asked 'would you fry eggs in this pot?', hes said 'no'. But he said, that is what they call a frying pan. Oh yea, and the internet went out for up to 4 hours, and this happen at least 5 times in a 11 day business trip. So take your chances if you like. If you don't need any of the items I am harping about, this place is for you.
• Faith (10/5): Excellent Apartments - The hotel was clean, the apartment was spacious and nicely decorated, the kitchen had all required. Wish we had time to stay longer.
