There's a very thin sheet on top they give you to cover. I have no idea why this hotel has the rating that it does it was absolutely shabby with broken furniture and walls which have not been painted in years and TVs that don't work. It's even got a lobby that looks depressing the minute you walk into it and the staff is extremely rude especially their main manager. They don't accommodate your requests and they take a 200 dollar deposit from you which is really unfair
- Bartosz (1/5): - Absolutely disgusting experience. The apartment was full of bugs and cockroaches from the moment I arrived. I immediately reported it to the staff and asked to cancel the rest of my stay because the entire property felt dirty and unhygienic. Instead of helping, the manager accused me of bringing the bugs with me, which is ridiculous — especially considering there are already multiple Google reviews mentioning the exact same issue. They refused to cancel my stay or refund my money. - Booking.com was also extremely unhelpful and did nothing to resolve the situation. - The problems didn’t stop there: - The room smelled terrible, including the bedding - Doors were not locking properly - WiFi barely worked and when it did, the speed was awful - The TV in the bedroom didn’t work at all - The apartment was never cleaned during my entire 1-week stay The staff and management were rude, dismissive, and constantly tried to blame the guest instead of taking responsibility. This was genuinely the worst hotel experience of my life, especially considering how much money I paid. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place completely.

It’s not labeled anywhere that it’s on the third floor and it’s hard to find the right way to go. More signage would help. The room I was in must have allowed smokers on the balcony (there was an ash tray) so the room smelt like sickly sweet air fresheners. It’s a little noisy but the 8th level was fine.

Having a $200 security hold put on your credit card for a week is excessive specially as it was a one night stay. Have not encountered this at any other Sydney accommodation. I would not stay here again because of this.

- Germaine Daniels (5/5): Great location, but cleaning could be stepped up a notch (or two). - Great location, walking distance to all areas or alternatively very close to public transport. Shops and restaurants close by. Supermarket across the road. Some staff were very helpful however some staff were not very helpful. We explicitly requested that our room not be entered by housekeeping, however upon return from our day out we found our room had been entered and some of our belongings strewn across the floor. The room could do with a good clean. Obvious surfaces had been wiped down, however there was a lot of dust in some areas (e.g. bottom shelf of bedside tables, laundry area). I would say attention to detail is perhaps not a strength of the housekeeping team.

- Jon (2/5): Great location, but service has changed significantly - Location is definitely a positive being across the road from World Square as well as very near the main area for retail, food, and entertainment. Staff were infrequently at the reception. We had to request bath mats as they weren't provided in room. Free wifi could be connected to, but wouldn't allow internet access (for previous stays it worked fine, though maybe this time it's a user skill issue). We also noticed that the smoke detector in our room seemed to be covered with tissues which we let the property know via the app. We requested late checkout via the app the previous day, but on our day of departure housekeeping knocked around 10:30am, we let them know we'd be right there but they abruptly opened the door and asked when we were leaving. Very disappointing experience overall particularly as we've stayed at this property before for business and leisure but this time the experience was less than satisfactory.

- Cornelia (6/5): Ok, but will not stay again. - Location was good. Easy walk to Darling Harbour and China Town. Struggled with the temperature of the shower all weekend. From not getting warm at all to getting too hot. Shower head fell off at one stage. Room was very warm and coffee and teas supplies very minimal. Lady at check in very officious. Also don’t understand why a holding deposit on the credit card takes up to a week to be cleared.
