- BenG (10/5): - I've stayed here every 6 months for the past 9 years and the hotel is exceptional. The service is brillaint, decor fantastic and you can walk to the best department stores. Rooms are on the smaller side but this is Paris.

- Jenna (10/5): - The hotel is beautifully maintained with many original features. The staff were friendly and there to help any time of the day, no task to large.
- Anna (2/5): - it’s def not worth the amount paid. Rooms super small, bathroom had funny smell and don’t get me started about the rest. Only good thing it’s location buy a for a room that cost so much money a night its def not worth it.
- HappyTraveler (10/5): - All good things to say about this hotel. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - The fact that it’s an old historical building
And the location is amazing very close to shops
The building itself is beautiful
- Satya (10/5): - After many years of traveling around the world. This Hotel is one of the best collection in arts and comfort. Great service can't say enough how clean and the smell on the floor as if you are in a top spa in Paris.
Loved the Dining room and the Breakfast.
Thanks you we will be back soon.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff was unbelievably helpful. My luggage lost one for its wheels and they fixed it there at the hotel. Everyone was extremely helpful. The bar staff especially Mohamed were extremely friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a lovely place to stay, staff were very helpful and it was very conveniently placed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everyone is very friendly and the hotel is amazingly beautiful
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Beautiful hotel, great location and friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - What I didn’t like are the staff. I booked a non refundable room, which I understand there is a policy in place. However, as a Marriott rewards member, I reached out 10 days in advance that I may not be able to get to Paris because of the strikes and notifications of my train services. They still would not refund the money which I was disappointed in but understand. The problem is they continued messaging me about how people are checking in and out every day and taxis, car services etc.. are running fine. That’s great for all of them, but both my trains in and out of Paris were cancelled. So I have to book new hotels, trains etc.. just to get home. and don’t need to hear multiple times how everyone is great with no problems at their hotel. Every train operator and hotel I had booked gave a full refund aside from this one. So if integrity and customer service are important to you then skip this place. The $ is not a big deal to me, the principle is.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel was exceptional. The staff was amazing and so friendly! The lobby was just beautiful, as well as the bar and restaurant. The room was amazing too! Very modern and clean. This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at! I would 100% recommend. I would only stay here the next time I come to Paris!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Absolutely rediculous and unfair management. I gave them 4 months notice that I wasn't able to go on my trip and they kept the $4000 that I paid! Not a penny returned to me. I will never recommend a hotel that doesn't have their customers interests in mind. Full scammers.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Does not deserve 5 stars at all. Noisy rooms, no coffee/tea maker. Went twice With colleagues for drinks to bar downstairs, bartender barely present.
- Adam (4/5): Beautiful till you get inside your room. - We chose this hotel for its location, reviews, and pictures. We thought a cute Autograph boutique hotel would be perfect for a cute romantic Paris holiday. Pulling it to the building, we loved what we saw besides the construction across the street. Entering the lobby was very dramatic and was beautiful.
Check in was easy and got a lot of info about the hotels history and area. We upgraded our room to make it even more comfortable for the stay.
Walking down the hall was very nice. It’s dark yet warm and cozy and parfum filled the hallway.
We were very excited to see the room, and then we entered it and it was beyond underwhelming. It was actually sad, then frustrating to know how much we spent on this room. The character of the room was all over the place, small bed because it had 2 huge nightstands that were on the sides. The nightstands were sloped inward so everything rolled into the middle of them. The tv was on a side wall and angles out with an arm but it was a short arm so you couldn’t angle the tv towards the bed or the couch.
Now the bathroom was a great size, white and bright, but kinda ran down. Very disappointed with it. The shower was so small I kept beating my elbows on the glass walls washing my hair. The silver metallic tiles are pretty...till you see the mildew and mold growing in the cracks and grout. It was gross.
For this being a new Marriott Autograph hotel, I hope Marriott comes through and doesn’t some cosmetic work in the rooms ASAP.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice hotel in excellent location. Room is very small.
- Khalid (8/5): Close to everywhere. - The place is really good, I will sure look it up next time in town
- Diane (10/5): Superb! - Superb! This upcycled boutique hotel has all the bells and whistles you are looking for if you need this as your tourist homebase. Friendly and personable staff along eith convenient metro rails or walkable spot to sites.
- Anne-Marie (10/5): - The location and room size and layout was excellent and the service was incredible. Every recommendation made was spit on and we could not be happier with our choice of hotels.
- JerryAndEileen (10/5): - The staff was excellent and took care of everything. Marie and Solene were the best! We loved seeing them every day of our stay.
- Sarah (10/5): - When arriving this “old bank” that was converted into a hotel is jaw dropping and eye catching. Rudy at the front door was very welcoming and helpful through our entire stay. Patricia helped check us u
In and she was outstanding. She told us where to go and what to do and was super helpful. She walked us to our room and showed us the amenities. As an American in Paris, the location was perfect and the staff was excellent
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I love this hotel Every year I visit it from tunisia
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location - Nice location and ambience- would be nice if they make the shower stall floor skid proof. And provide hand holds
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Service exceptional given concern re May Day marches
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful hotel! Comfortable rooms and the smart phone provided was great for getting around!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hotel Banke was an amazing place to stay. The staff was warm and welcoming and made us feel like we belonged there even though we felt like we weren't worthy. The staff went above and beyond to help me celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The food was amazing and I wish I could have it every day. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to see. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Paris
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel Banke was great a wonderful building. All staff we’re excellent the only negative I have is that the room we had was a bit small, but overall fantastic.
- Nate (10/5): - Beautiful modern decor and large comfortable rooms in a beautiful building centrally located.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice hotel, but room is small and inconvenient. Staff is not helpful
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic Hotel in a great location to shops and Metro. Staff were friendly and super helpful making great suggestions where to go and we felt comfortable asking for anything we needed. Very clean, welcoming and food was delicious!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property location was excellent for most of the major tourist attractions. Most were within a 20 minute walk from the hotel. Numerous restaurants were within a 10 minute walk.
The staff were very friendly and provided excellent recommendations on activities taking place around the city.
The hotel room was outstanding, larger than expected, and well maintained.
We would definitely recommend the Hotel Banke for future trips.
- Szeto (6/5): - Everything is great such as the cleaniness of the room, both bedding and bathroom condition. If you get a chance to stay there, avoid room that has a connected room next door, as the walls are thin, you can hear everything happening next door.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room too small. Definitely didn't consider it a five star hotel
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The location was very good but our stay was ruined by the night porter banging on our door at 3.30a.m with a "delivery". When we said we had not ordered anything he left but then reception called and woke us up again half an hour later. No-one at reception knew about it the next morning. I also found the fact that the toilet was separate to the bathroom a little concerning as there was no sink for the person using the WC to wash their hands and had to wait for the bathroom to be free. So they had to use dirty hands to open and close all the doors etc. Not really hygienic! I don't know why the toilet could not have been installed in the main bathroom.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely, beautiful hotel
Great attentive staff
Room / bathroom was a little small
- Yael (8/5): - A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Staff worked hard to adjust my booking to match my reservation, which was not originally honoured. Room was well appointed, bright, spacious and very comfortable. Beautiful lobby and room interiors matched the quality of the hotel. A decent 5 star hotel with attentive staff and perfectly located for shopping and touring. Will definitely return.
- Jake (4/5): - Average hotel that is oversold massively rooms a lot smaller than the photos and got charged an extra €200 for not checking out in the morning even though it wasn’t explained to us and our pick up wasn’t until 17:40
- Cosmas (10/5): Banke - Convenient location very good and helpful staff and moreover speak English
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent hotel in Paris. Recently renovated, good central location, friendly staff. I upgraded to a larger room. I recommend it without hesitation.
- Daniel (10/5): My stay - Very much enjoyed the room.
- richard (6/5): - Magnificent building and reception area. Nice enough rooms, but many touches don't come close to 5 star and given the price falls short of expectations. Some big ones: breakfast served in a miserable basement room with little light as opposed to main restaurant; gym is possibly the worst effort I've ever seen, better off just saying you don't have one. Lots of little touches around the room from the phone system to the minibar are below standard. Staff are not uniformly good, maybe that's the standard for Paris but I can't believe genuine 5* hotels are typically that way even there. I'd mark them down a star or two and then suggest it's a lot of money for that level of execution.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had an incredible experience during our stay at Hotel Banke.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The people in the reception desk were very nice and helpful, the bell boy Gonzalo very nice and attentive. The hotel is amazingly beautiful, every onr went beyond helpful to us, rooms very spacious and beautiful s 5 stars hotel
- James (10/5): - Fantastic
- Bibi (10/5): - It was very nice, we had a good time staying there
- Thomas (10/5): Paris vacation - Relaxed and quite vacation. Would stay there again.
- Grant (6/5): Making own bed - Had to make my own bed!
- Mattia (4/5): Check your credit card bill - For the second time, they tried to charge me for mini bar after I checked out. Of course I didn’t take anything. You all be careful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good stay - Very good room with nice decoration.
- Joya (10/5): - Great Hotel worth every penny. We got excellent service. We were on our honeymoon and they offered us a basket of fruits and a bottle of sparkling wine...The area is central and close to everything...Thank you Banke People..
- Bill (10/5): - It was the best hotel I ever experienced and I’m really picky. Great service, huge room(very unusual in that city), extremely clean, quiet even though was sold out and spectacular breakfast either in the restaurant or room service.
- angelo (10/5): Centrally located in hotel district - Alice at front desk, trainee, was excellent. Very helpful and nice.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Expect to be scammed and disappointed - Expect to end up paying significantly more than the advertised price as the hotel attempts to apply all kinds of "optional" charges onto your bill at the end of your stay, claiming that you "opted in" to paying a "reduced rate" for hotel features that you never used (like their overpriced breakfasts).
The actual quality of your stay will be marred by "features" like:
- Fixtures that aren't attached to the wall and fall off when you hang your coat on them.
- Broken door handles that the staff won't address, replace, or repair.
- Housecleaning removing the dirty towels from your room, but not replacing them with new towels. (It will then be implied that you stole the towels.)
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved everything about this hotel - My stay was amazing. The staff, the rooms, and the attention to details was superb. As could be expected the rooms were small, but with an upgrade, you could get a bigger room. Would definitely make this my hotel of choice, because I don't like crowds. the view to the front was facing an office building, but that's Paris.
Definitely the boutique feel. and...... the oversized jars of candy in the lobby..... not for me but a nice touch for my group.
- Taj (10/5): - I arrived at the hotel very late at night and found that the room i was booked into was a very small and could not move around at ease.
The following morning i raised the issue with front desk and was very helpful and quickly accommodated me to a much larger and much comfortable and room with all facilities at a small extra cost.
My overall thought of the hotel and the staff.
The staff at the reception couldn't help enough!! , very courteous and always smiling ,the sort of attitude helps one have a great day and a positive start to your travel.
I would like to add that the guest relation lady ( I am not sure about her name but i think her name is Seleno's) who could not do enough to help and organise and make you feel special and always willing to go the extra mile!!.
So my last and final word.
Well done team Hotel Banke, and keep up the service for making our stay comfortable and pleasant till the last day of our stay.
I will be back!!!
- Gabe (10/5): - Excellent staff across the board. Hugo, the porter was especially helpful on our departure day.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - In May I was in Paris with my daughter for her 18th Birthday and stayed in the Banke hotel for four nights.
This hotel is in an excellent location with extremely friendly staff . I found the concierge very helpful . Our room was spacious with a beautiful street view and large bathroom . Cleanliness was five star . Price was well worth it I have already recommended this hotel to my friends and can’t Waite to go back.
- Rubi (10/5): - Beautiful hotel centrally located.
Courteous staff and very knowledgeable.
I loved the fact that they spoke fluent English.!

- gigi (10/5): Perfect Honeymoon! - My husband and I just stayed at Hotel Banke for our honeymoon in paris and I can honestly say one of the highlights of our trip was our amazing and memorable stay at Banke. First off the staff is so friendly and helpful! Immediately they greeted us with amazing amenities such as champagne and chocolate and a gorgeous personalized note congratulating us on our wedding it was such a beautiful gesture one which we were not expecting. Throughout our 6 day stay they were constantly making sure we were happy and comfortable and provided us with tips and ideas of things to do. The front desk attendant Lindsey was beyond amazing she really went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and special. my husband and I haven’t stopped raving about this hotel and how excited we are to return to paris for our anniversary! You can garuntee we will stay and Banke!
- Steve (10/5): Great Hotel,Small Rooms, Great service. - ONLY LITTLE PROBLEM WAS WITH MAIN RESTURANT CHANGING HOUR AND NOT CHANGE SIGN,hOTEL DESK DID KNOW WNAT HAPPENED....Breakfast was great in Coffee Shop. Great Service.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great hotel, exceptional staff, great location. We stayed there for 2 weeks and it felt like home.
- Tony (10/5): First trip to Paris - Nice hotel, great location, friendly staff, small rooms considering we had a "Superior room". Do not hesitate to book as this hotel is very clean, well decorated and in a safe location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent location, beautiful decor, staff all extremely helpful
- Faith (10/5): Great proximity to EVERYTHING!!! - First time visiting Paris and this Hotel checked off all of our boxes. Beautiful hotel, great location, great sized room (Deluxe Room), close to restaurants, close to metro, overall an unforgettable experience!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing staff - Great one. Courteous staff, professional & helpful.
Narrow room but comfortable & clean. Hotel in a great location.
- Brian (10/5): Nice building - Great experience overall , heating in room not working properly on first night so very cold but heater supplied for rest of stay kept room warm , faulty heated towel rail reported on first night but still not working when we left 8 days later , we had room 406 which had 3 large windows so plenty of light but view only of offices opposite from two , the staff were all perfect from the breakfast team the dining room bar and reception area , they could not have been more helpful , I would definitely visit again and ask for room 406 , oh ,and a heater
- Damien (10/5): A lovely stay - So this stay was a birthday treat for my partner. We checked in on Friday and departed on the following Monday.
From check-in you can see how beautiful the building is and that you are in somewhere special.
The concierge service were very polite, helpful and always good to talk to. Check in was easy, quick however not as full of information, for example not knowing where breakfast was.
The room was very beautiful, clean and had a turn down service around 5/6pm.
The food was beautiful, we had dinner on the Friday night, slightly expensive but well worth it.
Breakfast was a different affair and was a bit of a disappointment. The service was lacking and it took nearly 30 minutes for the food to come.
I complained at reception and to the manager at breakfast and the complaint was dealt with by reception very well. They took of the price of the breakfast and we had a free latte while waiting for our taxi to the airport. We received an apology from the reception and food & beverage manager. This shows they take complaints seriously and deal with them brilliantly.
I would stay here again and I would recommend the hotel to others, I would suggest to go for breakfast early and if you need anything don’t hesitate to ask the staff as they will help in any way they can.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent hotel, location is perfect. The only issue room is quite small. Other than that a very good hotel. I will stay again there and recommend it to friends.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location. Friendly staff. Clean room - I have all good things to talk about this hotel. It was a pleasant surprise as I did not have good experience with many Euro hotel. This hotel is conveniently located in the Opera area. There is a super market across street. One minutes walking distance to Metro.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent hotel - The guest services team was exceptional. From reception to the doormen, we always felt welcome. As for location, if you want to be near all the major shops the location couldn't be much better. The only negative has to be the bathroom in our suite. The shower stall leaked water like mad which left the bath mat soaked by the time you finished your shower and the sink stopper had to be removed if you wanted the water to drain. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay at Banke Hotel and would return on our next trip to Paris.
- John (10/5): One nighter - On layover. Stayed at castle due to price and beauty. Not at all disappointed. Great place in every manner.
- Ruth (10/5): - Great hotel, good location, great staff and clean. Hotel is as shown on the hotel website pictures. Size is small but I heard that is standard for Paris. Also, there is enough space so that was not an issue for me.
- charles (10/5): - Excellent service and received benefits by being a returning guest
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Well located , good service. Food is very good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We had a very comfortable and welcoming stay at the Hotel Banke. The location was very convenient and safe and the hotel was just a short walk to the Galleries LaFayette, metro, grocery store and many nice restaurants. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
- Sheila (10/5): Modern hotel close to everything - We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Banke. Upon arrival the staff were friendly and since we were early, our room wasn't ready but they kept our luggage and we went out for a short walk. After we returned, the front desk person took us up to our room where our luggage was already waiting and she took time to show us around our room and the amenities. The room was a good size compared to other hotels in the area and very clean and modern. There is a bar as well as a restaurant in the lobby and a small gym with steam room, sauna and shower too. We were located near the Galleries Lafayette and within walking distance to restaurants and conveniences. Will definitely stay here again!
- Travis (10/5): Excellent hotel close to the Opera - We went here for our honeymoon and the hotel was fantastic. A shuttle from the airport will drop you off at the Opera which is a block away. Service was great, the staff was eager and helpful. The hotel offers umbrellas when it rains. Our room was spotless and our bed was made twice a day. Without question the best hotel experience I have ever had.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent room, friendly and attentive staff who were able to communicate well in English
- mark (10/5): Nice hotel, close to everything in Paris - Very friendly staff, everyone spoke English and was helpful with directions, requests and questions.
Hotel is in a historic bank building and was walking distance to many cafes and restaurants.
- Robert (10/5): - Customer service was outstanding, hotel was clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely gem in downtown Paris - Fantastic location. Terrific service... really terrific. Took great care of my wife and I. Great restaurant recommendation and directions to local attractions and they helped make my birthday special.
- Paul (10/5): Lovely hotel in a perfect location - We had a wonderful stay at the Banke hotel for my fiancee's birthday. The staff were very welcoming and helped in every way possible to make this a special event.
The hotel is all we hoped and expected with a lovely room and bathroom. We didn't use many of the facilities as we were out in the city most of the time but as the hotel was so conveniently located it was easy to get to the main attractions, mainly on foot. With it so central too we were surprised with how nice and peaceful the hotel was with little traffic noise even though it is so central to the city.
Thank you to all at the Banke hotel for a wonderful weekend stay.
- Von (8/5): Good hotel - Hotel Banke is a very nice hotel in a convenient location with very good service. Employees were especially pleasant and helpful. My only complaint would be that there is no coffe or tea service before breakfast at 7 am.
- Jennifer (10/5): Hotel Banke is five starr all the way . - We have stayed in many hotels in our time all around the world and this hotel is one of best . Staff wonderful , great spot in Paris . I would recommend with all my heart that you stay at this hotel if in Paris .
- Naveen (10/5): Nice hotel! Close to all tourist spots in Pari - Five star experience! The hotel is right besides subway and close to all tourist spots. Best part is that this hotel located in safe neighbourhood.
- Mohammad (8/5): M&O - 4 nights stay on business
- henderson (10/5): - Staff were helpful and polite. Hotel was located in a convenient place. Rooms were comfortable.
- Tracy (8/5): Five days in Paris - The hotel is beautiful, the staff is incredibly responsive and the central location makes getting around quite easy. The only negative is the overpowering scent of insence in the lobby. It is STRONG. We could smell it the minute we left our 2nd floor room until we exited the hotel. Not once, everyday. I'm not particularly sensitive to smell but if you are, the experience may not be for you.
