Guest Reviews
- Rubin (2/5): - The property was under new and inexperienced management. Unsafe area - upon enter the hotel I was approached by a homeless person demanding money. The hotel used a lot of fragrance spray to cover up a mold problem. In summary, convenient location, inexperienced staff, limited restaurant and old furniture. I would rate 2 stars.
- Queen (4/5): Bad choice hotel - Poor customer service, heating room system insuficient.
Basic and not very fresh Breakfast ingridients.
Overall it is a too expensive hotel.
Not recomended
- charles (10/5): - Much better than similar nearby hotels- we’ve tried them all
- Osvaldo (8/5): A Hidden Gem with Lofty Surprises in Palermo H. - Staying at this hotel was like unwrapping an unexpected gift. I booked their largest room, discovering it was a stylish yet simple duplex loft. The space had a certain charm, even if the furnishings leaned more “utilitarian chic” than luxurious. But hey, for the price I paid, it felt like a win.
Now, let’s talk about the shower: I measure a hotel’s worth by water pressure, and let me tell you, this one did *not* disappoint. A+ on that front. On the other hand, the bed had a firm personality—great if you like a little extra support, but maybe not ideal for those who prefer a cloud-like mattress. The towels? They’ve seen better days, but they got the job done.
What truly elevates this hotel is its location. Nestled in the heart of Palermo Hollywood, the surrounding area is a treasure trove of culinary delights and buzzing coffee shops. If you’re a foodie, this neighbourhood is your playground. Buenos Aires itself? Always a vibrant, intoxicating experience—and this spot puts you right in the middle of the action.
- Ravi (10/5): - I only stayed at this property for an afternoon and a morning (as I had to change my accommodation for one night ahead of going to a different city), however I found it to be excellent! The room was spacious and clean, I utilized the pool area where I fully able to relax after a busy working week with some travels, and the staff were super friendly. Thank you Botique Suites team 🙂
- Margarita (10/5): - Fantastic hotel very friendly staff and right in the middle of everything. one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Great shower, Pool, restaurants and very cute rooms
- Bernardo E (8/5): I was expecting more.
- Robert (10/5): - Great location , big rooms and quiet . Staff were very helpful and I would definitely stay again .
- tim (10/5): - Location. Also staff very friendly. They were very helpful.
- Joseph (10/5): - Great hotel, really cool area. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- STEPHANIE (8/5): - Beautiful property - super clean, great location, super accessible to shops and restaurants, very safe area, very upscale as well. Property was super clean as was the room - very comfortable stay. We did have an issue with them saying the dog was too big but they never specified small dogs only - they allowed us to take the dog up anyway.
They had a private pool on the balcony but unfortunately, it was not heated and it was a rainy cold night so we couldn’t use it if I had known that I wouldn’t have booked it. I thought it was a heated jacuzzi by the photos.
- Andrea Sofia (10/5): - Staff is super helpful, especially Omar!
- Ana (10/5): - Staff was super helpful and very nice
- Hector (8/5): - Great place and met our expectations
- sarah (10/5): - Excellent!
- Camila (10/5): - The staff was super friendly and it is in a safe walkable area!
- michael (8/5): - Good value apartment . However building needed maintenance and updating. Poorly equipped kitchen area… no plates , bowls or tea towels
- Javier (10/5): - The check-in was extremely friendly and easy.
- Rob (8/5): - Comfortable, spacious, clean with excellent front desk staff
- NAUSHAD (6/5): - Problem in communicating in English.
Only one staff at the front desk at all the time.
Only one staff member speaks broken English. Rest neither speak nor understand English,
- Barak (10/5): Great service, big rooms. - Amazing service from everyone. Big rooms, Great location. A lot of restaurants around around the hotel. It’s not in the most center, 10 min walk from there. but center enough. Great price. Worth the price. I recommend.
- Mark (2/5): Absolutely awful - This place is disgusting and the staff are incompetent. I booked a two night stay and after the first night I was woken up by several phone calls and a housekeeper who entered the room without knocking while I was nude. I was told I needed to check out or show proof of a two night stay. But it was confirmed when I checked in. Old, ripped towels, yellow sheets, moldy bathrooms, a pool that looks like a green pond… Stay someplace else. Anyplace else.
- Donal (8/5): - Generally a very nice place to stay. Good area with good restaurants and bars nearby. The room I was in could have done with a paint refresh, but it was a nice spacious and quite room. The rationing of toilet paper was an inconvenience, and no, I didn't have a problem !
- Rez (10/5): - For the money, as an American I found this place affordable for the quality I wanted. Everyone was so nice as many have been in Argentina and the room is pretty much what we expected. Overall my rating is 5 star for a 4 star hotel. I think if the bathrooms were more inviting and they had a few more pieces of furniture in the room, it could be 4.5 but that’d take a lot on their part. 4 is all I really need!
- Vasilii (10/5): - El personal es muy amable. Muy fácil check-in y check-out. La habitación está en excelentes condiciones. Es muy limpio y agradable. Nosotros recomendamos!
- GENEVIEVE (10/5): - Excellent service, great location, and very safe property. I would stay here again.
- Mario (10/5): - Good location and easy access to other areas.
- GISELA (10/5): Love this gem!!! - What an amazing property!! Customer service was great, very helpful. The room was comfy and cozy. the location was spectacular! you have various options. Would definitely come back again!
- Julio (8/5): - Well located
- Richard (10/5): - Excellent hotel in BA. Good value and nice accommodations.
- Alma Adriana (10/5): - It’s a very nice hotel, love the aesthetic, safe location, so many restaurants within walking distance and overall our stay was great, but let me tell you that the reception staff was AMAZING!!!
We are so thankful for the attention and help they gave us booking events, activities and tours, they were truly wonderful!!
- Jose (10/5): - Clean and walkable
- Carly (10/5): Very relaxed and great location - I was impressed by the location and the quality of the hotel and rooms, especially for the cost. There are lots of bakeries and cafes in the vicinity and only a few minutes’ walk from Palermo Soho with bars and restaurants. The majority of the front desk staff were helpful. Very clean property and it was fine for us not to have room keeping every day (there’s an extra charge for that). I’d definitely come back if available in the future. I’d like if there was a breakfast offer
- yarisel mairene (8/5): - Alejandro was very helpful. It was my first time in Argentina and I felt like home. It's far from most attractions but with Uber you can go anywhere. I took the hop on and off bus and it was cool cuz you visit all the tourist spots. A lot of policeman in the area. I travel by myself and as a woman
- Hector (10/5): - Great location close to airport
- Jimmy (6/5): Budget Option (due to no room cleaning. - I would have rated slightly higher if not for the lack of friendliness from Gabriel at the front desk on our last night. He quoted me a much higher late check-out fee from an earlier conversation with another rep. I asked about why the difference in fees but he just seemed very defensive and couldn’t communicate a sound explanation other than - the other guy did it wrong.
Just left a bad taste in our whole experience (6 nights there)
Wouldn’t be back based on that experience and would rather pay a little more to be closer to all the bars and restaurants next time (about a 15 min walk).
- Edmundo (10/5): - Excellent hotel in the neighborhood of Palermo in the city of Buenos Aires. Large and clean suite, great shower and bed. The hotel has a SPA and swimming pool.
- cheryll (10/5): - staff were super friendly - great location
- Sonia (8/5): - They don't clean your room unless you pay an extra charge. The people at the front desk offer different rates for exchanging money and sometime they wouldn't accept less than $200 to change. The location was great and the room was comfortable.
- Jorge (10/5): Great location and confortable stay - Great stay at Boutique Suites Palermo. The location is very good, close to restaurants, markets and transportation. The hotel is clean and confortable. The only downside is the lack of breakfast at the place.
- Zachary (10/5): - The staff were amazing and very helpful. We were able to change money at the hotel at a good rate. The pool, steam room, sauna, and spa were great! And the massages offered at the hotel spa were also excellent!
- Gabriel (10/5): absolutely lovely - very nice place, and amazing set up and comfort,
It will help to have breakfast in the place,
Thank you
- Robert (10/5): - The staff went far beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Recommendations for food, arranging transportation and accommodating special requests, the staff was fabulous.
- Sharon (10/5): - The hotel is in a great location with many dining options
nearby. The room was nice. The bed was really comfortable.
- Dawn (10/5): - Great value for money, especially if you pay in pesos.
- Carlos (10/5): - Is like been at home no difference
- Sean (10/5): Amazing location and super comfortable! - I stayed 3 nights here and the room was massive, very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a great location so you can walk to some amazing restaurants and bars. Across the street is a small coffee shop with some of the best coffee I have ever had. I also booked a massage at the hotel spa and it was really great! Very happy and I'll likely return for another stay.
- Domingo (10/5): - The place is nice and modern, the reception was amazing and helpful . Rooms are spacious and clean, and a beautiful balcony. Nice and bright.. Location is great, a few bars around, just a few steps and coffee place just across the street. Definitely, I will come back..
- Landon (10/5): Brilliant stay in a perfect location - We stayed in suite 30 and it was gorgeous! We had an outdoor pool which was perfect when the sun got too hot, the apartment was spacious and had everything we needed, the bed was comfy and the staff were extremely helpful - especially Jhonathon. The location is also great. Having never been to Buenos Aires before we picked Palermo as we were told there were good restaurants. We would highly recommend staying in this area - good food, bars, brunch spots, shopping and feels very safe vs the downtown area.
- Ada (6/5): - Location is nice very convenient next to several god restaurants and coffee shops. Rooms are spacious, comfortable bed. It needs some
Upgrading. Walls are tearing apart and stains in the showers.
- Paulo (8/5): - Nice !
- Glenda (10/5): Great hotel in Palermo - Everything was great. The only thing was that, having two different reservations for a room with the same amenities, they request me to ck out from one room and ck in for the other. I wasn’t sure why.
Nevertheless, this hotel is amazing and staff is nice.
- Jason (6/5): - The good: Best location in the city IMO, and the staff was very friendly and helpful for a visitor from the US that did not speak any Spanish. The bad: The walls are paper thin, so I could hear everything in the hallways like it was in my room. Also the shower water knobs were outside of the shower for some reason. That's not the worst thing in the world but something I had never seen before.
- colin (6/5): - Well located, however the hotel has no amenities. Our room was big and confortable but very mousy. No breakfast at the hotel.
- Yvonne (10/5): Great hotel - Just a quick 1 night stop before going to the airport. Would definitely return on future trips. Very large room, front desk service amazing and a very cool hotel overall.
- Lazaro (4/5): - They didn’t clean my room. Didn’t care about leaving toilet paper or towels or shampoo.
- Aimone (10/5): - Great area great staff
- Verified traveler (8/5): - MUY BUENO EL LUGAR , MUY COMODO, MUY LIMPIO, FALTAN SERVICIOS ,FALTA ESTACIONAMIENTO PROPIO, PERO EN GRAL ES MUY BUEN LUGAR PARA DESCANSAR , PARA EL RELAX, HERMOSAS HABITACIONES,.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Comfortable mellow space in a good location close to restaurants in Palermo district
- Corrado (4/5): - We liked the location. We disliked the facilities and their indifferent treatment. The building is very noisy and there is no respect for cleaning employees to minimize noise and respect guests who are sleeping
- Steve (10/5): - The hotel is in the best location you could ask for and the staff are incredible! Diego came with us to the wine tasting to translate and helped us throughout our entire trip with planning dinners, bars, and everything thing you could think of. We will be back and thank you for the incredible hospitality!
- JP (6/5): - Seems like people are overworked and not too friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a great property in the heart of Palermo with MANY restaurants/bars within walking distance. Campo Bravo and Copa de Rey are two great places as an example. Anyway, the front desk staff here is AMAZING. Carolina, David, Luca, Diego, Jonathan, Juan - did I miss anyone? We had a huge issue with shipping a small but important package from the States to BA via DHL. The package got stuck in Argentine customs hell for a week and we truly couldn't have got the package back without the assistance of everyone at the front desk. Keep in mind, they helped us even AFTER we checked out of the hotel and by most standards they were under no obligation to do so. My husband and I can never thank them enough, we are very grateful for their help and their kindness.
As far as the hotel - the rooms are great, we had a very spacious room. I would only mention that the showers are quite small but other than that no complaints. They have a restaurant, a small gym and a sauna which we definitely liked. They also have an art gallery attached to their lobby which was cool. I highly recommend this property. When my husband and I travel it's important that the staff is helpful and friendly and the staff at Vitrum go above and beyond!
P.S. - the BEST steak place in our opinion is La Cabrera!
- Nancy (10/5): - Beautiful room and by far best breakfast spread out of all the hotels i stayed at. Spa area can get quite crowded but pool was nice and relaxing regardless.
- Linda (10/5): - The rooms are very big, roomy, and have everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Beds are huge and super comfortable. There is also a large sofa that can prob sleep 2 people more than comfortably if needed. The rain head shower in the bathroom is amazing, although the floor does get wet.
Only thing I would ask for of the room is a large floor to ceiling mirror somewhere, as the only mirror is waist up and in the bathroom.
Hotel staff was very nice and was able to get us amazing seats to a soccer game. Hotel is also in a great, safe area close to restaurants and about a 10 min walk to the Subte (subway) to get to other parts of BA. Had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
- Mark (10/5): - Very spacious comfortable room, modern, clean. Nice breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We stayed for three nights and would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were amazing. They responded promptly to any question before we arrived and were extremely helpful once we in the hotel. The bar/restaurant staff were also very friendly and cheerful. Breakfast was good location provides easy access to walk around Palermo and is a short very cheap taxi ride to the centre
- Janice (10/5): Totally great - The front desk personnel were the best ever. We used them for dinner recommendations ( all great) tour recommendations (same - great and a few times to help with translations and communications as we don’t speak Spanish. Always friendly and happy to be of service, each and every one! We highly recommend Vitrum Hotel for this reason and the quality of the accommodation. It was our first time in Buenos Aires and it was great.
- Alon (8/5): - The front desk staff was great
Room was very spicy and comfortable.
the shower setting was a little odd..
Overall great value for the money
- RMMS (8/5): - Friendly staff, prompt to address issues. Beautiful design. One of our rooms could have used more lighting and one AC unit made odd crackling signs all the time making it difficult to sleep. Overall great stay and wonderful neighborhood.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel has such a unique style that created a wonderful place to rest/relax between trips out on the town. The staff went above and beyond every opportunity and was extremely helpful in making our trip safe and successful.
- MARIA GABRIELA (10/5): A hotel to recommendin Palermo area - Excellent service, friendly people. The hotel has a superb location for a reasonable price. I will recommend it to my friends! :)
- Kenneth (10/5): Great hotel in Palermo, BA - This hotel has almost everything you could ask for. It is in a great location in Palermo close to great dining and shopping. The front desk staff provided excellent service in both Spanish and English. They were extremely helpful with local suggestions and provided free luggage storage both before and after our hotel stay. The room was large, quiet, and had just the right amenities. The hotel has a pool, gym, saunas, and buffet breakfast included. And the WiFi was excellent throughout the hotel. I would stay at this hotel every time I visit Buenos Aires.
- Zach (10/5): - Loved this hotel and will definitely stay here again. Great location in the heart of vibrant Palermo, incredibly friendly staff, clean and modern room, awesome shower, and beautiful balcony overlooking BA. A perfect home base for exploring.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean and bright and the Reception staff in particular were very helpful.
- Mikhail (10/5): - Excellent service, good location, great breakfast, fantastic front desk people, especially Diego who was trained in US
- Amelia (10/5): - Everything from the staff to the location and facilities was fantastic
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Private patio big room and well appointed, all in mint condition
- Verified traveler (10/5): - They were very helpful and changed our room to better for our needs. Friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel was in an amazing location. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the the hotel has a very cool vibe. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again!
- Cristian (10/5): Great and comfortable week - I stayed at this amazing hotel for about a week. Nothing but praises!!!
I hope they keep these standards because nothing around that area compares.
- Jordan (10/5): Excellent experience in a fun neighborhood - Well-devorated and maintained boutique hotel in a fun neighborhood. Staff was outstanding, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay, knew how to get around, and made it to the airport for our flight.
Neighborhood is fun, with lots going on, but is a little bit of a hike from some of the main tourist attractions in BA. Nonetheless, it's a safe, if long, walk, or an easy cab ride.
Would highly recommend, and stay again without hesitation.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel is ok, in the Spa area there are no towels and we used the ones we had at the room. When requested new ones were not delivered.
- Andrew (10/5): Excellent stay - Really excellent hotel and so friendly staff
Thank you
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A very comfortable stay. Very modern and bright. Super comfortable bed. Great terrace. Great sized rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent location. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
- Kris (10/5): Hidden Gem - Great location. Jonathan was very helpful in planning our excursions.
- Rob (10/5): - Really nice hotel - very big rooms and great location! The only downside was no bathtub and the fitness room.
- Bonnie (10/5): - We had a really nice time on this property and convenient!
- Javier (8/5): Nice, clean and lots of entertainment - It was a good experience overall. Very clean, well maintained, nice hotel with excellent Internet, big bathroom, lots of light, with a classic modernistic style. Lots of hot water, good air conditioning, and a nice restaurant. I noticed a sliding glass was missing from the shower, which was not an inconvenience but was still noticeable. The fridge was full of beverages, but was not working or set to a warm temperature. Very nice area with lots of restaurants and bars nearby.
- Jessica (10/5): Excellent location, staff, and stay! - The hotel and staff were great, especially Diego at the front desk. We checked in on a hot/humid summer day, and our air conditioning didn't work correctly. Diego worked tirelessly to ensure we would be comfortable in our room by restarting the AC, finding a fan, and working w/ his manager to secure us a partial refund for our first night. In addition, he made great restaurant and bar recommendations and kept us laughing throughout a stressful, hot first few hours. The hotel itself was in pretty, comfortable, and in a perfect location to explore the neighborhood, eat, drink, shop, or just relax. Breakfast was good, the wifi was strong, and it was easy to get a taxi or Uber. Highly recommend, especially because of the excellent front desk team.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a lovely boutique hotel in Palermo. There were four fantastic staff on the front desk - Diego D., Lucas E., Jonatan C. and Diego D. They went out of their way to assist us with restaurants in the are and a terrific Tango show. The hotel is small and quaint - I believe 35 rooms - all spacious and bright. Each room has its own outside patio. This is a gem in Palermo!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Former glory, ok for 1 night - Dated and tired. The bed was not really clean. Shower looks like missing door. The pool facilities rather unpleasant.
Must have been great when opened but not properly mantained.
The restaurant is great and staff very nice. The location is perfect.
Generally ok for 1 night but would not stay longer.
- Melissa (10/5): A GEM - this hotel is a little gem, the definition of a perfect boutique hotel in a great area. it's light and airy, nice restaurant, but most of all the desk/concierge staff are AMAZING -- Diegos (2), Lucas, Luciano and Jonathan were so so helpful not only during our BA stay but in helping us book things in Mendoza. I cannot recommend them (and therefore this hotel) more highly.
- Edward (10/5): Fantastic Boutique Hotel - We had a great stay at the Vitrum hotel, it is an very Hip part of town, with a great vibe. The hotel was really comfortable, large rooms, and the service by the front desk staff was amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, as it offers both great value and comfort.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff was superb!! Hard working! They were helpful, FUN, efficient, professional.... and spoke excellent English! Also the Vitrum is in a great location in the Palermo Hollywood neighborhood! Our stay was a joy from start to finish! Highly recommend!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - In a fairly quiet part of Palermo, close to lots of bars, restaurants and coffee shops. 10 minutes walk to Palermo Soho where there are a huge range of shopping, bars , restaurants etc
- Nnaemeka (10/5): Cozy in Palermo - Great stay! Great staff! Excellent location!
- Mark (6/5): Hotel with great "bones," but poorly maintained. - Hotel was beautifully designed, our room was spacious, with plenty of storage, and most of the staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. But the hotel is not being well maintained. There were missing floor boards and tippy tables in the first floor restaurant. The pool was freakishly warm, full of little bits of debris and covered with a light oily sheen. The beautiful, blue, impasto "diamonds" on the wall of our room had been crudely painted around with white paint that didn't match the rest of the white wall. The outside corridor, covered in glass, wasn't air-conditioned and grew hot as Hades during the day. It also leaked during heavy rainstorms, leaving a puddle of water in front of our room door. Worst of all was the breakfast, included in the price, that consisted of the same exact array of unhealthy carbs every day, watered-down coffee, and watery orange juice. (Literally, when the big coffee urn ran out of coffee, the wait staff would pour hot water into the urn without putting in new grounds.) This was the only spot in Buenos Aires where we had bad coffee. You could order eggs for the breakfast, but they arrived hopelessly overcooked. The food you paid for in Jolie, the restaurant, was much better prepared. Hotel was obviously skimping on breakfast for guests.
