• Sanne (2/5): Ikke nogen særlig god oplevelse - Hvor skal jeg starte. Vi ankom på hotellet mandag og sov der til onsdag også selvom det var planlagt at sove der til fredag. Men det var simpenhelt så forfærdeligt at være på værelserne når det udenfor er 33 grader. Det var ingen aircondition, kun en lille blæser, badeværelses blæseren larmede også selvom der var lukket dør, rummet var lille og rigtig varmt. vores udsigt fra rum 2, var et stillads med håndværkere som arbejde fra kl 08 - 17 hver dag, og larmede voldsomt med en borhammer. Hotellet i sig selv er heller ikke i særlig god stand, trapperne føles nemme at glide ned af da de er skrå, og lad mig da slet ikke snakke om morgenmaden. Røræggene var slimede og grå og meget slatne; brødet så ud til at have stået for længe og pandekagerne var meget hårde at skære fra hinanden og smagte lidt ligesom gummi. Der var så støvet på værelset under sengene lå store nullermænd, der var spind i loftet. Under de 3 dage vi var der blev der ikke gjort rent hverken på toilet eller værelse sengetøjet blev ikke skiftet selv om der var åbenlys beskidt, brugte glas blev ikke fjernet. Receptionisten var det eneste højdepunkt som var rigtig sød, og hjalp med at finde transport muligheder rundt i byen. Vi valgte hotellet fordi de fik så gode anmeldelser men må sige at jeg kunne ikke genkende noget af det folk skrev om.
• Jan (10/5): - Die Lage ist fantastisch, in kurzer Zeit (<15 Minuten) kann man nahezu überall in Prag sein, sei es zu Fuß oder mit der Bahn. Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Insbesondere Daniel möchte ich hervorheben, der uns sehr sympathisch bei Rückfragen beraten hat. Ich kann das Golden Key nur Wärmsteins weiterempfehlen
• Donna (10/5): Fantastic stay - Reception staff were excellent. Friendly and very helpful. The bed in our room was extremely comfortable. The shower pressure was fantastic and the bathroom had my favourite l’Occitaine products. Our room was on the lower ground floor which had access to a private garden area. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The location near the castle was perfect. Would highly recommend this hotel.
• Jose (10/5): Soft mattress, nice and clean great free breakfast - Great location, clean, staff was friendly, walking distance to everything, only a few blocks from the tram to the airport. most importantly, the mattresses were super soft, which is important for me. It was convenient and the free breakfast was awesome not boring continental but full on hot food.
• Falko (10/5): - Prima gelegen direkt unterhalb der Burg. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Fussnähe erreichbar. Zimmer sauber und gemütlich. Große Auswahl beim Frühstück. Personal freundlich und kompetent.
• Morgane (10/5): - It's the second time I stay at the Golden Key hotel and I totally recommend it. It's a very charming and clean place, the breakfast is very good and the rooms are amazingly comfortable. It's beautiful and very well located, just a few minutes away from the Castle and from the hill and also from Charles' bridge, which leads you to the Old town.
• Rachel (10/5): Xmas in Prague. - Beautiful building, welcoming and very helpful staff. Breakfast choices were lovely and plentiful every day. Location spot-on, central to all places of interest. Felt at home very quickly..always a good sign. Would definitely stay again!
• Mark (8/5): Enjoyable 3 night stay - We had a junior suite which was very decently accommodated (room 13). Plenty of space and a very good sized bathroom/wc as well. Service and check in were pretty faultless and the hotel is also very well positioned for most of the major attractions in Prague. Only issues were that we found the lighting in the bedroom to be a bit on the dim side. The only other area which I think could be improved is the breakfast. While there's a really good choice of cold food stuffs and good coffee/tea making facilities, the hot food in the steamer was somewhat lacking - rather poor quality, anemic looking frankfurter sausages - and the supply of hot food would sometimes run out. On our first morning we arrived just after 9.30 and there was almost no bacon left and the beans were finished. We asked for the latter to be replenished, although got the impression this wouldn't have happened automatically given that breakfast service ended at 10.00am. Also, the heater wasn't particularly efficient at keeping food warm. Given the cost of rooms at the hotel I would have expected eggs that eggs would have been available to order from the kitchen. All told, a very good experience overall, with some potential for improvement. I'm unsure as to whether we would stay at the Golden Key again, although we found the staff to be friendly whenever we met them.

• Jenny (10/5): - Very centrally located hotel close to Charles Bridge. Many convenience stores and shops in same street. We arrived early for check-in and luckily room was available. Lovely spacious room on ground floor with patio access and very clean. Grateful for friendliness and warm welcome. Caring receptionist arranged for packed breakfast due to early departure next day and being tea drinkers we were provided with a tea pot and tea bags. Coffee maker available in room.

• Ryan (6/5): It's fine - Nothing specifically bad to say. The hotel staff like most Czech's aren't particularly inviting but aren't rude. We got booked to room 22 which is way smaller than the pictures and isn't great for two people. We asked for an upgrade and got one at a small discount. You need your hotel key to use electricity so charging your phone or batteries while your out doesn't work. Breakfast isn't included in most rooms. Great location though! I'd keep looking for a better experience if I were to do it again but it was fine.
• Jaroslav (10/5): - Great neighborhood, romantic and rustic setting, clean. We stayed 3 nights over a weekend, enjoyed. The breakfast is fine, reasonable spectrum of choices for a small hotel. We had a yard view room, with an electric system for windows, was blocked but the reception solved it. The room was clean, the bathroom very spacious. The fitness room and sauna in the cellar was delightful. Overall great, we would come again.

Stanza e bagno molto spaziosi, pulitissimi, letti e cuscini comodi. Colazione abbondante e con varietà di salato e dolce, ottime tisane, yogurt e marmellate, personale molto gentile, riservato ed attento alle esigenze della clientela. Abbiamo trovato un ambiente molto accogliente e rilassante. Assolutamente consigliato

• Ron (10/5): - חוויה מדהימה בעיר מהממת המשלבת צד עתיק בצד מודרני. כל העיר ברגל ! מסעדות ובתי קפה בכל פינה. מחירי האוכל מצחיקים בהשוואה לארץ ואילו ביגוד ושאר "מתנות" - לא היינו בתקופה של סיילים ולא היו אטרקציות לקניות. המלון באזור שקט להפליא וממוקם 5 דקות מגשר קארל ו -2 דקות מהמצודה. גם שרותי החשמליות מאד קרובים כך שניתן בקלות להגיע גם לאזורים יותר מרוחקים. המלון שווה כל שקל (או יורו...). מזג האוויר - תענוג !!!!! נהנינו מאד .

• jeanette (10/5): Best hotel stay in 16 d trip - Great find in a beautiful city...room quite spacious ('deluxe') and very quiet with the best wi-fi we had in Europe; breakfast was included, staff very professional and welcoming. Hotel appears to have just been renovated as every feature in the room was tasteful, clean and crisp. The bed was quite comfortable - one of us is 6'5" and the other 5'10" so this is really important. The hotel is near the castle on the same street which is fairly steep, but surrounded by interesting cafes, embassies, chocolate shops.

Ainda no Brasil, solicitaram ao Hotel um quarto especial, sem custos adicionais. Foi um mimo maravilhoso. Linda decoração e pétalas de flores na cama, travesseiros, escrivaninha e banheiro. Adoramos.

Como ponto negativo fica a falta de frigobar e o sistema de exaustão do banheiro, que era extremamente barulhento. De resto, perfeito. Chão e porta toalhas aquecidos, chinelos cortesia... À noite a região fica um pouco deserta, mas tem fácil acesso ao transporte público.
• David (10/5): A Perfect Place to Rest - An excellent hotel on the busy, hotel-packed Naruda Street in Prague. This hotel lived up to its billing, providing great accommodations with a wonderful staff. Everything was first rate. Nothing over the top, but not a single thing lacking...
• Verified traveler (6/5): A Mix - The staff at the Golden Key couldn't have been nicer; Gabriela was especially helpful in arranging tours and taxis, but the room we were given at midnight upon our arrival was airless, dark, had no facility for making a cup of tea or coffee, and had a view only of an abandoned construction site. No robes, no air conditioning, tiny shower only, not the kind of room expected at a hotel that calls itself four star. Even though the hotel was not full, I believe we were given the worst room. Why? Probably because we had prepaid prior to checking in. The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting the palace and old town, and the breakfasts were lovely, but I would not go back.
• Justin (8/5): good value - It was a great area to stay in as we were able to walk everywhere. It was busy during the day but calmed down nicely at night. The room was a good size and clean. I was surprised that i couldn't find any working air conditioning solution. It was particularly hot on our first night. Having said this it cooled a little and we were very comfortable. The breakfasts was also of a good quality. For the price i can definitely recommend a stay at the Golden Key while in Prague.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Not recomended - Not luck with the golden key, the hotel has recently renovated, is clean but our room was awful, the noise from the kitchen woke us up very early every day. The bathroom was to HANDICAPPED not our case.

• Emily (6/5): Good location, mediocre service. - The hotel is very well located close to the Castle and a lot of other sights in Mala Strana. There was a problem with the room we originally booked as the radiator was broken to the point that the room was more like a sauna, also the bed was not properly made so we couldn't be sure if the sheets and towels had actually been changed. There are no staff at the hotel after 9pm so resolving this issue was difficult, though we were eventually allowed to move to one of the apartment rooms on the 4th floor. We were then moved to a more basic room the next morning which was then quite comfortable. The staff do their best and are very pleasant to deal with although the facilities are basic, the breakfast is nice but again quite basic. The location is excellent though and the hotel is good value for that reason.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great Location... Rooms could use a little help... - We stayed at the Aureus Clavis for one night during a quick weekend trip to Prague with our 9 month old baby. Let's start with the pros: the hotel is in a fantastic location (about a 5 minute walk to the Prague castle, 8 minute walk to the Charles bridge, very close to the tram stops...), they also serve a complementary nice hot breakfast, the staff is very friendly and the rooms were clean and quite spacious. They also offered us a large crib for our baby, free of charge. As for the cons: the rooms could use a little sprucing up (some tiles in the bathroom were coming loose, the bedding and towels are thin/cheap and getting frayed, there isn't a phone or coffee machine and the TV only had two channels), they do not have an elevator (which is a little difficult with a baby + gear) and there is rarely someone working in the hotel reception office (instead you have to speak with the restaurant staff). Overall, we thought that the hotel met our needs: we wanted somewhere clean to sleep that was situated in a central, walkable location. If you're expecting a 4 star hotel for your honeymoon, this is not the place. But if you want a reasonably priced nice hotel, then this will do.
