I have stayed here at times for half the year and knew almost all of the staff who delivered everything with a smile and a "Khun Don" at every corner. Grand living area with dining table and small kitchen (please, look into a way of switching the overhead lights in the kitchen, I didn't find it myself). It also has a comfortable separate bedroom. For once the bed and the pillows were chef's kiss! I had maybe the best sleep from all the hotels I stayed on this trip. There's some renovation going on, however, I didn't hear any noise whilst there. The hotel has good bones, it carries this old glory vibe and I'm sure it was amazing when it was built. The bathroom. The shower was a joke, water was spraying everywhere, because there's no shower curtain. The shower hose is the shortest I've seen, washing yourself from the chest down is a challenge. The water was extremely hard and the shower head with the ultra small holes made the experience more like a torture - the water was piercing my skin like needles. The breakfast was... A choice? That's why I used it only once. At first sight I thought there's a good choice. And then I had just scrambled eggs and toast, and bit of watermelon. There was no bacon, the butter was a concept, there was no cheese selection.

SophMack (10/5): Lovely hotel in fabulous location - We made an emergency booking at Bandara Suites from Bangkok airport after our previous hotel cancelled the booking. What a happy accident this was!! This is a great hotel with lovely staff and facilities including a pool and bar. We had a lovely two bed suite with superb views over downtown Bangkok. The best thing was the location - situated off a quieter street just off Lumphini Park (monitor lizards!) and 5 min walk from Silom and Sala Dueng station. The street itself is in a classy neighbourhood with some great restaurants including the Commons which is a food court with both Eastern and Western options. We were also 10 mins from the fabulous Vertigo roof top bar at the Banyan Tree - bargain compared to some of the others. Thank you to the wonderful staff: Namdrel, Care and May!! Highly recommended for a well located stay with older children

Dagmar (7/5): Pictures look nicer than the real thing - Breakfast was wonderfull, a real kick-start to your day. Staff was friendly and tuk-tuk service to the nearby Metro station was a blessing. The room in the building we stayed in (there are 2 towers) was outdated and needed a new coat of paint and furniture, everything felt like the ‘90’s and never changed. The pool in our building was closed due to renovation, but the pool in the main building was very nice.

Priscilla (10/5): Fantastic - The room was so neat and clean and it was a right choice in choosing this hotel. The staff are so professional and always at your service with a smile. The price of their food are affordable and we have a buffet for breakfast. Their food taste good too. We even have a tuk tuk for free that drops us at the silom complex mall. Walk in distance to the centre and very near to pratunam market and chatuchak by car. I would surely recommend to choose this hotel. They even gave me an early check in without additional charge. My room was all set when i got there. The furnitures are a bit outdated and the bathroom need to be renovated but i can assure that the room is very clean

Yehor (1/5): Disappointing Experience — the Rating Doesn’t Match Reality - Location I stayed at this hotel with my family for two nights. We specifically chose it because of its high rating, hoping to make the most of our trip and enjoy a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, our expectations were completely let down. Exhausted after a long flight, we were taken advantage of and placed in a room that did not match the photos, the rating, or the price. The room was in a separate building next to the main hotel, and it looked nothing like what was advertised. What we got was a very old room with cracked and yellowed walls, worn-out furniture, dirty thin windows, and even food remains left on the floor. It clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. The pool that was highlighted in the listing turned out to be located in a different building, which we didn’t even have access to in a practical sense. This is far from the level of quality I expect when paying this kind of price, and it was especially frustrating that a high Booking.com rating turned out to be so misleading. At checkout, a staff member casually told us that we were simply "unlucky" to be placed in the old building. That’s unacceptable — and frankly, disgraceful.

Some lights not working and no remote for the aircon, so should wake up at night to switch off...but the view from the room is superb... staff there are so nice, the reception has a lovely decor and also their pool is well.located and great view...a big thx to Katai at the pool bar for her professionalism, good customer service and her good spirit. She always has that smile on her face to welcome you. Have not tried the breakfast yet coz i just check in today itself. Will keep u updated

Elizabeth (10/5): Great for families - We were travelling with our toddler, so to have so much space was really exceptional. Also to have the bedroom separate so she could sleep peacefully and we could still use the rest of the room. It’s not far from the BTS, maybe 7 minutes, or there is a free shuttle too. The most exceptional part about the place was the staff. They are so professional and friendly, and so welcoming after our long journey. They were great with my daughter too, she loved them! This extends to reception, security guards, door men, everyone. The area is vibrant and safe, with lots of great food options on your doorstep. We used the pool too, the baby pool is nicely shaded. Some more utensils and bowls in the room would be good, and a towel to dry your hands in the kitchen. Very minor!

The room we had was very spacious which was great as we were travelling with our toddler and come with a lot of stuff!!! The hotel is professional and clean. The breakfast is good if you want western food. There’s a cute coffee place at the entrance, and thousands of options to eat nearby. The BTS is a short walk or there is a free shuttle. The area is safe but vibrant. The staff here are amazing, so friendly and polite. They were so kind and sweet to my daughter. They welcomed us warmly after our long journey and were so helpful throughout, this extends to cleaning staff, security guards and receptionists. We enjoyed it so much we decided to book again for our second stay in Bangkok. Kob khun kaa!

Fri t desk helpful when the first apartment we had was not up to scratch in the second building and promptly moved us on request. / bed apartment in old building was musty smelling and very dated. We couldn’t stay there and asked to be moved and this was granted easily. So we ended up with smaller floor plan but much better modern suite.

A huge thanks to Mr Noom who has helped us on every visit over the past 11 years. We love how vibrant the area is with plenty of great street food, and with easy access to Saladaeng BTS station. The in-house breakfast isn't as good as it used to be, so we self-catered.

Getaway01598598874 (10/5): At home in Bangkok - I found the room to be very pleasant and I enjoyed very much all that the room had to offer, including the TV, the fridge and the sofa. I also enjoyed the space that the room has. Beyond that, there's a ton of services available to the customer, like pool, sauna, gym, laundry, restaurant, bar and lounge. The people working were also very pleasant and always ready to help. I'm gonna mention two of them in especific, Care and Naudre, which were always very helpful and very warm. I felt at home here and I loved it. If I had to point something not so perfect it would be the wifi that sometimes goes down, but other than that, brilliant stay and very very very welcoming and hardworking people here with great accommodations.

The tuk tuk service to the train station was a bonus. We got dropped off and collected from the station. Close to a lovely food market. Breakfast is basic but still value for money. Our room was extremely spacious. Home away from home. We will definitely stay and recommend Bandara Suites to families traveling to Bangkok

The only option is the very expensive in house laundry service. They used to have washing machines and dryers for guests to use. I was staying there for two weeks and needed somewhere to do my laundry.
