Was very disappointed with my stay. The staff however at the breakfast area and front desk was accommodating and were very helpful calling me as taxi and directing me on how to make tea.

• leylasteg16 (10/5): Nice hotel - I stayed in this Hotel last summer with husband and seven months old baby. We were all satisfied. Nice hotel. Good location. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Good soundproofing in the hotel, which is important for families with small kids. Tasty, fresh breakfast.

• zaphod12345 (8/5): Fine for business trips - This is a comfortable hotel 15 minutes walk from the train station Munich East. The immediate vicinity of that train station is not the nicest area of Munich, but there are a lot of unique restaurants in the nearby neighborhood. The front of the hotel looks out on a busy street and the train tracks, but the back faces a residential neighborhood of new buildings. You can sleep with your window open if your room faces the back. WiFi is good, and there is a nice table to work at. Somewhat annoyingly, one needs to use the room key to get electricity, and it is unclear if you can charge devices in your absence when the key is gone (are the outlets active?), and it is also unclear why the TV always switches on every time when inserting the card, so you need to find the remote to switch it off again. Everything is clean and fine, but for a hotel chain that prides itself in its design, it might be time for some renovations, just a once-over and slight updating. Breakfast is fine. One morning, there appeared to be only one breakfast attendant on duty, and while he worked constantly to keep up, between bussing tables, doing dishes, and registering guests, several breakfast items ran out. Maybe somebody called in sick. Other days, sufficient staff was on-duty, and things went smoothly.

• Carrie (8/5): Good for one night. - Liked our one night stay. Lobby and staff are nice. Room is clean… but tiny. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is good. The streets behind the hotel are quaint with many cute restaurants.

The hotel is within a walking distance from the train station (15 minutes +/-) . Despite the room window overlooking a main road and the railway the windows are soundproof so the room was silent. The breakfast is relatively modest, but has the necessary. The hotel is perhaps ideal for mature holidays or business trips. Overall I would recommend.

• Paula (8/5): Estadía Hotel one Múnich - Buen hotel , personal amable. Cama chica (2 plazas) Y el cobertor es muy chico alcanza para una persona. Al llegar muy limpio, pero durante la estadía sólo sacaron la basura del basurero y estiraron la cama, sin cambio de toalla, ni reposición de repuesto de pañuelos desechables ,ni del papel higiénico . La ventana quedó abierta. No cuenta con shampoo ,ni acondicionador. Tiene secador de pelo. Para estadía corta ok. Bien ubicado en relación al transporte público , y se puede llegar caminado al centro historico

• worm91dj (10/5): Motel One - Arrived here without a reservation and the check in process was very quick. I paid €78 for the room. The room looked nice with blue colors. Excellent location, walking distance from East Munich station. Some restaurants were nearby as well.
• zaphod12345 (8/5): Does the trick: everything just fine - There is nothing particularly special about this hotel; it has a very high standard of being normal. Everything is clean, the breakfast buffet is fine, the bed is comfortable, and the staff is friendly and professional. Only 4-out-of-5 points because the rooms are a bit small (but that is normal for European hotels, I guess), and it is on a busy street. Still, I would definitely come here again.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Nicht so gut wie ich vom Motel One kenne - Ich kenne alle Motel One Hotels in München, weil ich dort arbeite und bevorzugt in den Motels übernachte. Leider sind die Wände bei Motel One East sehr hellhörig und ich habe alle meine Zimmernachbarn gehört, konnte leider sehr schlecht schlafen. Das Zimmer war sehr abgenutzt und an der Wand hinter dem Bett waren komische Flecken dran. Ach ja und direkt vor meinem Fenster eine riesige Baustelle. Ich habe für meine nächste Aufenthalt doch umbuchen müssen.

• Daniel (4/5): Daniel - Das Zimmer war sauber und schön. Das Problem war das die Klimaanlage nur geheizt hat. Durch den Hinweis im Aufzug haben wir die Anlage im Zimmer gleich ausgestellt. Nur leider wurde es nicht viel kühler. So das wir nur mit offenem Fenster schlafen konnten. Leider war unter unserem Fenster im 1. Stock eine Schnellstraße, Straße, Baustellen an allen Seiten und gegenüber noch die Gleise des Ostbahnhofes. Demnacj qar eine ruhige Nacht ausgeschlossen und wir sind nach unserer Reise völlig übermüdet nach Hause gefahren. Würde die Klimaanlage kühlen würde das rine super unterkunft sein. Fie Betten sind nämluch auch super bequem. Fazit. Super preiswertes Hotel... leider klimaanlage noch nicht auf Sommermodus umgestellt

They assisted me with specialized maps, Covid 19 Test appointments and great information to pack a short stay in Munich with the city's cultural highlights! The hotel is very convenient to exceptional public transportation options! The room is carefully thought out and was very comfortable with everything I needed. The staff made me feel at home. It was a lovely experience!
• G_Bebetsos (6/5): Good (only for) short business stays - The hotel is conveniently located in walking distance from the East RR Station. Clean. Fine reception area and friendly/helpful staff. The rooms are very small, with absolutely basic furniture, no refrigerator or coffee machine and no amenities. Sound proofing is bad in between the rooms. You have to pay extra for the breakfast.

• steevo866 (6/5): Not bad for one night - I stayed here very last minute and it was the most affordable hotel I could find for close to central Munich, it was €80.50 including breakfast. The room was rather basic but that’s what you are getting, any longer than 1-2 nights and you might start to feel a little enclosed. No fridge in room or any form of Tea/Coffee making facilities etc but you are getting a bed and a shower for a good price The included breakfast was delicious and very fresh so would recommend this option when you check in. Walk to Munich OST is 10 mins and you can get the 21 Tram was right in front of hotel to Central Munich (shops, Christmas markets) so this is a great way to save money. The S Bahn to airport goes from Munich Ost direct in 50 mins on average and it’s the cheapest way to arrive

• Verified traveler (10/5): Eine kurzer, aber toller Aufenthalt in München - Tolle Lage, Ostbahnhof 5 Minuten zu Fuß, Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Alles sauber, Bett bequem, Frühstück lecker. Das eonzigste, was mir nicht gefallen ist - Klimaanlage hat nur geheizt, obwohl es draußen sehr warm für Oktober war (20 Grad und viel Sonne), es wird automatisch für Winter zentralgesteuert.

Für meinen persönlichen Komfort, hätte ich mir eine Badewanne gewünscht. Außerdem schade ist, dass das zugehörige Parkhaus öffentlich genutzt werden kann, sodass dieses bei meiner Ankunft leider besetzt war. Die Verbindung zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln war dagegen perfekt, da direkt vor der Türe eine Straßenbahn hielt. Obwohl das Hotel direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße liegt, habe ich auf dem Zimmer keinen Verkehrslärm vernommen.
• mboerma (6/5): Clean and practical. Small and weird breakfast seating - All is fine with the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. I found the rooms to be too small and noisy when staying at the street side. Especially because the rooms were far too warm for me. The only way to cool the down in this time of year is to open the large window/door. The lobby and bar area with deep, low chairs is also the main area for the breakfast. Those seats are highly impractical for that purpose and the tables which do offer more regular seats were always filled the three nights I stayed there.

• rogerbZ3611OH (8/5): Arrival Night In Muenchen - Upon arrival in Munich from our flight from the U.S.A., our first night was spent at Motel One Muenchen - East Side.We were not sure what to expect and were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. While located on a busy street, the room was very quiet. The accommodations were very comfortable, but smaller that what we are used to in the U.S.. Breakfast, which was included in the room price, was very fresh and provided many choices. We would consider this location again when traveling to Munich.
• CWC47 (8/5): A very pleasant stay - This is the latest in what’s becoming a long list of Motel Ones I’ve stayed at in various cities around Europe in the last few years, mainly because of the consistent standard of quality and service provided as well as usually having a convenient location often close to the city centre. While this one isn’t in the centre, it’s located close to the Berlin Ostbanhof from where you can reach anywhere in Berlin either using the S-Bahn or the U-Bahn, as well as having a direct S-Bahn service to the airport. There is also a bus/tram stop directly outside the hotel from where you can also reach the city centre as well as the Ostbanhof. There a good number of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. All the hotel staff were both courteous and helpful during my stay, my room was comfortable and clean, and as with all the Motel One’s I’ve visited had a walk-in shower (note that there are no baths). The choice of items at breakfast which is served in the bright lounge area was very good, with the usual selection of cereals, cold cuts, pastries, fruit etc., and as well as the coffee machine, there was also a good choice of teas on offer. There is also a comfortable seating area in front of the hotel, where you can also have breakfast in the morning, or relax with a drink later on. All in all this is a pleasant place to stay in Munich. Just a couple of minor criticisms. While there is an excellent flat-screen TV in the rooms with a large number of both German and foreign channels, there is no dedicated News channel in English. There are no USB ports in the bedrooms, and as with all Motel Ones there are no telephones, so if you have a problem you have to go to reception. There are also no fridges or mini-bars in the rooms either.

Einziger Haken (wie in einigen anderen Motel One) ist, dass der Frühstücksbereich nicht ausreicht um die Menge an Gäste unterzubringen. So muss man zu Stoßzeiten lange Wartezeiten in Kauf nehmen, bis ein Tisch frei wird.
• EDMAN90 (10/5): Fairly good Hotel, excellent hotel for the price I paid - This hotel has a fantastic balance between luxury and budget accommodation. I stayed one night alone on 2 May for €69 without breakfast. I could have had breakfast at extra cost but I wasn't hungry. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. While there were no ironing and coffee making facilities in my room which I wasn't expecting, the staff gave me an iron and board when I requested one. My 16 sqm room included the ensuite bathroom, I measured the dimensions myself. While a fairly small room, it was plenty big enough for myself and for the price I paid. The soundproofing was good enough that my sleep wasn't affected. The ensuite was reasonably spacious and very nice. The condition of the hotel was so good that it definitely looked like it was no more than 5 years old. Hardly any signs of wear and tear anywhere throughout the hotel. Many 3 star hotels I stayed in the UK looked in excellent condition downstairs, however once you go upstairs they can get fairly dilapidated. While the slightly bold decor may not to be to everybody's taste, I liked it very much. The location was good with fast, easily accessible and very regular public transport to the city centre. I stayed in 1 star budget hotels in Munich before for €45 - €50 per night without breakfast. One of them I highly rated. However even though I paid about 30% more this time, I got without exaggeration about 5 times more hotel. If the pricing structure of hotels based on quality is generally like what I mentioned in Munich or throughout Europe for that matter, I seriously cannot understand why people would be willing to settle with at best 30% as much hotel just to save a miserable 30% in money.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Kingsize-Bett gebucht und angegeben, falls möglich, bitte im oberen OG. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer im 6.Stock, aber mit Queensize-Bett. Haben es erst nachts bemerkt und konnte dann nicht mehr einschlafen. Nach Reklamation am nächsten Morgen hieß es, dass es im oberen OG nur kleine Betten gäbe. Dies hätte man mir bei Check-In aber sagen müssen, dann hätte ich abwägen können, was mir wichtiger ist. Wir sind dann für die 2. Nacht in ein Zimmer (2.OG) umgezogen.
• Corex (8/5): - I arrived at the hotel in the early morning, I was shocked when the staff told me my room had not be confirmed because my booking was done through expedia.com. She told me I should book direct from the hotel next time. Anyway, I just left my luggages and let them deal with it. Luckily, my room was ready in the afternoon. The room was spacious and clean. Location of the hotel is close to public transport. Some restaurants nearby. Satisfactory overall.

• Wolfgang (8/5): Gutes Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bhf M-Ost - Zweckmäßig und der erwartete gute Motel One Standard. Alles weitgehend so, wie es sein soll. Der Frühstücksbereich etwas knapp bemessen für die Größe des Hauses.
• Donald Clarke (10/5): GREAT value at a very reasonable rate. - absolutely "top shelf": Staff very professional, friendly and helpful. Room, neat, clean and comfortable.
• ALINA (10/5): - Friendly and accommodating staff. I would suggest to provide slippers to guest members, as hotel allows pets and even though it is clean, but also for more comfort, it would be nice to have feet in slippers.

• Adrian (10/5): Great hotel close to Munchen Ostbahnhof - The hotel was great, close to Munchen Ostbahnhof (10 min walk from hotel to station). It is a new hotel, the room was very comfortable.
• Bernadette (10/5): Clean and comfortable! - Convenient and affordable. Near Ostbahnhof station and the tram stop is right in front of the hotel.
• Catherine (8/5): OK, nothing special - I stayed at this Motel One for one night. It's a reasonably priced, standard hotel chain, perfectly decent but nothing special. But if all you need is a place to shower and sleep, it's fine.
• Peter (10/5): Good Hotel In Munich Ost - Good hotel located 5/10 mins walk from Ost Bahnoff or u can catch a tram there which stops right outside the hotel. Great location despite being a bit out of the city and there are a few nice restaurants nearby if you mooch around the streets, a LIDL is also just around the corner. Staff were super friendly and helpful, room was very clean and comfortable with a nice powerful shower and aircon that actually worked. Overall a great place to stay as an alternative to central Munich and well worth the saving compared to staying central.
• Adem (10/5): Excellent choice for Munich - Good location, close to trams and train. Hotel is very modern, extremely clean. Large parking garage, no issues finding a space. Would stay here again.

• Steve (10/5): Clean and great staff - Very clean and well maintained hotel. All communal areas were kept fresh and the staff were excellent. Rooms were spotless, but no tea/coffee making facilities or room safe. Has really good transport links via, bus, tram and trains and even good parking below the building. The immediate area was ok for bars and some restaurants, but if you need nightlife, it's a short journey into the city centre. Overall, excellent hotel and would have no hesitation in booking again, including other One Motels in other cities.

• Burak (10/5): One of the best! - Absolutely amazing! Recommend eyes closed to anyone and everyone. Might be a little pricier than most but you are definitely getting your money's worth. Would definitely go back.
• Jesena (8/5): great hotel, close to public transport - We stayed there for one night before heading home and needed something close to the S-Bahn going to the airport, but still close enough in town to go out and enjoy the city. The hotel seems pretty new, facilities are great and staff is friendly. The rooms are small, but that is to be expected in a city, but clean and simple. We unfortunately ended up in a 1st floor room overlooking the street car station, which woke us up every 20-30min during most of the night. I would stay there again, but not in a room facing the street noise or maybe a higher floor could help.
• Nicholas (10/5): modern feel - i always choose to stay in this hotel if in Munich. Links into the city and fairground for exhibitions are excellent, and the hotel represents good value for money. (prices go up when major events are happening in Munich, but not by as much as every other hotel in the area, so it will still be a good price.)
