The location was great and facilities were good. The staff were great with a special shoutout to Evan who was extremely.helpful in making sure everything was OK. If we were to come back to Hanoi we would definatly look at staying here again as it exceeded our expectations for a brief day stay.

- Andrew (9/5): Well worth the money. - The staff were exceptional, and went out of their way to look for a solution when I found that my room had a shower that was over the bath, rather than a walk-in shower. I suffer from arthritis, and thought that getting into the shower may have been an issue. They had sourced some kind of step that I could use, although when I came to use the shower, it wasn't as difficult as I thought it might be, so didn't need the step after all. But the offer was there if I needed it! The location is also great, and is just a 10 minute walk from the lake. Plus being in the Old Town meant there was an abundance of shops, cafés and restaurants everywhere. A tip is to use the Amap app for getting directions rather than Google Maps, as Google Maps doesn't always get things right! One evening I wanted to go from the hotel to Train Street, and Google Maps said it was a 30 minute walk. So I ordered a Grab instead. But by the time I'd fastened my seat belt, we were almost at my destination! I used Amap to find the journey back, and it showed that it was barely a 10 to 15 minute walk. Consequently, I walked back to the hotel! Can't really think of anything.

Great location, walking distance to everything in the old corner. The staff were amazing! Very polite and kind. The complementary breakfast was delicious.

You can hear people in the room next door talking and using the bathroom, and people in room above you walking and thumping across the floor at night. People slamming doors. I was on the 3rd floor and you can hear the staff on the ground floor talking, noise of restaurant as it travels up the open stairwell to the floors. Should be doors closing accomodation off from restaurant and staff work area. It's location is good, very central. Breakfast mediocre at best. The only cereal is cornflakes or coco pops. The omelettes are nice. But it's a bit awkward when youre trying to have a meal in the restaurant and the staff stop by your table to hassle you with little cards to scan, asking you to give them a 5 star review and mention them by name. Not professional. Wouldn't stay here again. Too noisy.

Overall, the hospitality made my experience memorable, and I will definitely be thinking of coming back to this hotel on my next visit to Hanoi.

The location is perfectly in the middle of everything, has great hospitality, has an amazing breakfast buffet, and is very clean along with beautiful rooms. The front desk staff, especially Hannah and Evan, are great and can speak multiple languages for an easy check in and check out. I definitely recommend this hotel for its great value!

Their communication through email was excellent and very prompt. The hotel is located right in the heart of the Old Quarter, and everything is within walking distance, making it very convenient to explore. - Tony (10/5): Great Hotel / Great Location - Hotel is in a great location, very central so easy access to everything. Rooms are large and comfy, staff very friendly and breakfast is good. Turn left out of Hotel and there is the best Bun Cha in Hanoi (120k vnd), turn right and walk for a few minutes and you will find the cheapest beer in Hanoi (14k vnd). The lake, Citadel, Train Street and Hoa Lo Prison all in easy walking distance. If you are travelling on to areas like mai chau etc then use the 12Go app which is way cheaper than a private taxi. They are not quick at responding to messages asking for transport to Hotel from airport but if your flying in we got a taxi for 300k vnd.

The highlight was the staff — the chefs Febe and Evan went above and beyond by making a birthday cake for my wife, which was such a lovely touch. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and we felt well looked after the whole time. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay here again.
