Simone was very helpful in getting us checked in & helping to secure a spot in parking garage next door. Trainee, Francesco, is also going to be a great asset to your company, he is kind and very attentive in assisting us with checkout and answering our questions. Well done Simone & Francesco!! Was a delay in check-in due to housekeeping did not have room ready by 2pm.

The bathroom was also very small, but we were really only in the room to sleep. Also, the hotel is located about a 25 minute walk to the colosseum so don’t think you’re goin g to be right beside the museum.

From rooms being made up at 8:00 in the morning (noisy doors bashing, vacuum cleaners running etc) to the ‘breakfast’. Plenty of fruit and bread, but the warmer options were appalling. Rooms were tiny and the bathroom shower doesn’t even have a door to close, therefore every time you take a shower then water gets all over the floor. Terribly designed hotel rooms.

The moment we checked in , Ilaria at the front desk gave us that warm italian Hospitality and friendliness. I must add,the whole front office as a team is great. The breakfast team are also fantastic, esp Jenny. Jenny welcomes everybody with a smile and i see her like many of her peers work hard and attentive. The breakfast crew works hard esp on busy times but they will acknowledge you and attend to whatever guests may need. The breakfast selections are good and tasty. The housekeeping team are also great at cleaning and refreshing the room. We are always greeted warmly upon interacting them at the hallways. The location is great. The metro is just a few steps out and couple stops to Roma Termini. The Colosseo is just a fee blocks away. There are few restaurant on the same block, Japanese, Chinese to name a few. This Hilton took over and this hotel was a Best Western property,one will see the difference of a Hilton hotel brand. It is providing a reliable, seamless, and positive experience where every guest feels valued. The people that works here i beleive were giving that service even before the brand took over. - JonathanL348 (8/5): Gaslit at the Hilton - I have one major peeve about this hotel. The thermostat is set in a way that defies the actual weather. It was freezing in Rome in March, and yet guests were only allowed to use air conditioning rather than the heat. The rationale at the front desk? It was 20 degrees Celsius "last week," and it will be warm again "next month." Well, I'm sorry, but I wasn't a guest at your hotel last week, and I won't be the next month either. And from what I could tell, average temperatures in Rome in February and April do not justify turning off the heating option so that your guests don't want to get out of bed and step into an ice box in the mornings. Gaslighting your guests to suggest that nothing is really wrong with the hotel policy is not a way to address their discomfort. Other than that peeve, I have some real praise for this hotel. It is well situated in Rome. Some reviews suggest that the area in which the hotel is located is dingy and dangerous: yes the area is dingy here and there as is typical of big cities; dangerous? not that I ever noticed. It is located right on a metro stop, and close to buses and trams which make getting around Rome pretty easy. The breakfast at the hotel was very good. There was an enormous spread (scrambled eggs and bacon; fresh fruit and yogurts; extensive pastries and breads; a waffle maker and a self-serve espresso machine. The dining room was spacious enough to serve guests: there was never a wait. The staff working the dining room welcoming and seating guests and clearing the tables were always friendly. The room itself was a little drab (it seems that this Hilton Garden Inn, in its mid range of the chain's offerings, took over and renovated a Best Western) but very reasonably priced for Rome. The bathroom featured a very nice shower with a steady stream of hot water. The bed was comfortable. The hotel's location on a busy street meant that from my 3rd floor room, I could hear some traffic noise but I never felt that it was excessive.

- 581hardeepd (6/5): Will I stay again.. maybe! - I stayed here recently and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the breakfast at the restaurant was excellent; it catered to all diet types and was a highlight of the stay. However, there were several issues. One elevator was out of service due to construction, and the remaining ones are very small. My room had a persistent smell of wet socks, and while it looked newly furnished, the finish was poor—some electrical plugs and boards were loose and hanging off the walls. Being in a busy area, the noise level was quite high. It’s a convenient location, but the maintenance needs to be addressed.

- Anna (8/5): it was okay but not for such a price - the reception staff was the best part of our stay. i personally liked the room too: it was quite spacious and newly renovated. really liked the closet and the bed. it was also really quite there; the soundproofing was great. the cleaning service was nice. the breakfast was good and fresh with wide variety of options. location! some may think the location is not so great and touristy “clean” but it was just 20 minutes walk from coliseum so that’s a great deal in my opinion. also the metro station was just right beside the hotel entrance. for me the problem was the shower. it was impossible to fully close the glass door(?) in the shower so the water spilled all over the floor every time i took it. didn’t like the exterior of the hotel: it’s undergoing some renovation i guess but it’s kinda confusing especially if you have just arrived in the city and it’s dark outside. despite being good overall the breakfast was still kinda overpriced. i think it could be better for such a price. on the last day of our stay one of the two elevators broke down and we had to use the stairs when going out. it was ok for us but it took extra time to wait for it to arrive on the day of our check out because obviously with the bags we just couldn’t use the stairs. to sum up, I enjoyed the stay but still think that the price of it could be much lower considering all the things. like.. it’s a Hilton but somehow i couldn’t feel that Hilton experience.

Couldn't take showers and had to move to another room later that day. Hotel provided a free breakfast for two to try and make up for the inconvenience.

- Wills01 (10/5): Lovely Hotel - Very friendly staff on reception, we were allocated a double room but we needed a twin room so went back down to reception and room changed without any problems. Breakfast was good with plenty to choose from and breakfast staff nice. Big shout out to Anna on reception who tried to get ahold of the transfer company to take use back to airport when it didn’t turn up and they called us a taxi.

- Y6890MIpatriciae (10/5): Great Stay - This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The staff members were accommodating and friendly at check-in and throughout our stay. We had a room with a king bed, very comfortable and quiet. The air conditioning was excellent and the room had a great hair dryer and iron. The breakfast was solid with many choices. The hotel is recently updated, so everything is fresh and clean. The location was perfect. We walked to many sights, easy walk to the colosseum and found nice restaurants along the way. We would stay here again if we return to Rome!
- Transplanter (10/5): A great smaller hotel with plenty of space and modern facilities. - Comfy conveniently located with a train tram and bus stop all within a few metres of the front door. Modern spacious king room was the same price as a smaller room and very reasonable. Was stuck in Rome after the Middle East caught fire again on March 1st 2026 and ended up having mix of the anxiety of not knowing how in would get home relieved by such a comfortable stay.

For the price we paid, we expected a much better quality and variety. Overall, the hotel feels quite expensive compared to what it actually offers. I don’t think it provides good value for money.

- Kenneth (1/5): - The people were friend and apologetic. I actually felt sorry for all the people who worked there because they were putting up with so much grief. They should’ve closed the hotel for us. If we knew the whole place was undergoing renovations we would have never stayed. Extremely noisy. Every day, no naps, circles under my eyes. Dust and toxics smells of glue electrical wires sticking out everywhere with out even the option of running the air.

- Carla (7/5): Ok hotel , mostly for business purposes - It’s clean and it has 24 ha reception The location is well communicated , but not great, and haven’t felt safe at night . The room is small for the price , and there is some construction/renovation in the building , and it’s very very loud, noisy. I guess that is a temporary situation , however I should have been notified about it beforehand as it is really disturbing.
