- Timo (8/5): Erinomainen sijainti, luokitus vastaa 4-tähden hotellia, erinomainen aamiainen (erityisruokavaliot) - Erinomainen, monipuolinen aamiaispöytä (tarjolla jopa lasillinen kuohuviiniä aamiaisella). Lisäksi hämmästyttävän monipuolisesti vaihtoehtoja myös keliaakikolle, mistä erityiskiitos Siistit huoneet, ystävällinen henkilökunta - lukuunottamatta sisäänkirjoittautumista, josta pitkä miinus ja paljon parannettavaa. Muutoin erinomainen valinta Rooman keskustassa - tulen varmasti myös seuraavalla kerralla tähän hotelliin, vaikka hintataso onkin suht' korkea. Hotellin sisäänkirjoittautuminen ei sujunut lainkaan: tulimme 2 tuntia ennen kuin huoneet olivat valmiit. Aulassa ei ollut silloin muita asiakkaita. Kirjoittauduimme sisään ja annoimme passit ja kaikki tarvittavat tiedot. Tiskin takana oli mieshenkilö (Michel ??), joka kieltäytyi ottamasta passien tietoja, vaikka aikaa olisi ollut hyvin - hän sanoi ottavansa kaikki yhdellä kertaa vasta, kun huoneet ovat valmiina! Kävimme syömässä ja kun tulimme takaisin, hotellin aula oli täynnä japanilaisia turisteja. Sama mieshenkiö tiskin takana ei suostunut antamaan huoneiden avaimia, vaikka ne olivat valmiina; hän halusi meidän jonottavan koko em. ryhmän sisäänkirjoittautumista ennen kuin suostui ottamaan passien tiedot ja antamaan huoneemme. Muu henkilökunta olisi palvellut meitä, mutta tämä "pikkupomo" ei sallinut sitä, koska "hän on vastuussa aulan toiminnoista sillä hetkellä"! Käytös maksavia asiakkaita kohtaan oli ylimielistä ja törkeää - varsinkin kun hotelli on luokiteltu premium-luokkaan. Olisimme lähteneet toiseen hotelliin, jos matkassamme ei olisi ollut lasta. Tulemme seuraavan kerran Roomassa ollessamme kysymään majoitusta samasta hotellista erinomaisen sijainnin, tason ja mm. aamiaistarjoilun vuoksi - mutta jos sama mieshenkilö on taas ottamassa asiakkaita vastaan aulassa, majoitun varmasti muualle!!

I was unable to make the first night of my reservation due to airport strikes in Rome. I informed booking.com and best western, they then changed the dates of the reservation but maintained the same total price prior to the change and told me no refund was possible for the missed night. They also would not specify a per night cost of the stay. At the end of my stay they asked for a 3% tip to top it off.

The room was ready 20 minutes after booking, so I’m happy about the prompt accommodation on short notice. The breakfast was outstanding, and the room was clean and quiet.

- Özgür (10/5): - Roma da 1 gece konakladık. Best Western otellerini seven biri olarak seçim yaptım. Otel roma terminide çok güzel bir yerde. Kaldığımız oda içten merdivenli asma katlı bir odaydı. Ambiyansı çok güzeldi. Ayrıca her detay düşünülmüş. Bornozlar, terlikler, tüm hijyen ürünleri, diş fırçası, diş macunu, Kahve ve Çay ürünleri... her şey çok güzeldi. Kahvaltı da her kesime hitap eden güzel çeşitleri olan bir kahvaltıydı. Omletleri çok güzeldi. Ayrıca bagaj muhafaza hizmetleri de çok iyi ve güvenli. Fiyat olarak çevrede ki otellere göre biraz yüksek olabilir ama bu kalite için değer bence. kafanız rahat olur. Olumsuz bir durumla karşılaşmadım.

- BC Miller (9/5): The hotel is located near the train station, and the breakfast is outstanding! - The breakfast buffet was the best part of my 5-night stay, and Monica greeted me each morning! The egg station was a dream come true! Monica knew each morning how I wanted my cappuccino. The water machine on each floor was quite convenient for filling my water bottle. The front desk staff was professional and I'm sure helpful if asked. The size of my room was tough to handle for 5 nights. I was tripping over luggage and personal items.

- Susan (9/5): - Location is great! We had a really weird room. The bed was in a loft on the second floor and the bathroom was on the first floor. That meant that in the middle of the night one had to go down a narrow, winding, dark Set of stairs to use the bathroom. Not very convenient. This was the third time I’ve stayed here and will stay here again. The location is great; the neighborhood has many restaurants, shops, and it’s very close to the train station. Overall it’s a great place to stay in Rome.

Everything was within walking distance. We felt safe in this area of the city. The breakfast was expensive. We only used it once after hour long travel to Rome. Innenstadt und Restaurant dind auch Fußläufig und ich fand es toll das es ein Trinkwasserspender gab um die Wasserflaschen aufzufüllen und wir am letzten Tag unser Gepäck einstellen konnten. Könnte etwas ruhiger sein, und im Bad evtl. Mal das eine oder andere Renoviert werden.

Our check in process was very easy and we found that the language difference was not an issue. The hotel staff was very helpful and assisted us with all our questions. The shower door was very tricky and the tub very slippery.

- Mathurina (7/5): Excellent emplacement - Le best western était conforme à mes attentes, quoique pour le prix payé, je m'attendais à plus de prestations. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Rome à pied, et surtout prendre le train ou métro à proximité. le buffet petit déjeuner était à l'hauteur. J'ai demandé un transfert pour aller sur le port, et le prix a évolué entre le moment du mail et la personne à l'accueil ( est-ce lié à la personne...). C'est un hôtel très fréquenté, donc l'attente à la réception peut être importante.

- Andreea (8/5): - Good experience overall. Nice and clean room, moderate size. Very near to the train station. No noticeable noise on the 4th floor. That they openly asked for tips for the entire staff at checkout. We did not require or received any special care. You have to request special products for persons with allergies.

- Kay (9/5): Empfehlenswertes Hotel für einen Besuch in Rom. - Schon wenn man den Eingangsbereich betritt fühlte man sich wohl. Das Zimmer im 7.Stock mit Balkon war groß und sehr sauber, also wirklich schön für eine ganze Woche Aufenthalt in Rom. Die Lage war Top. Bahnhof Termini ist in 5 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Ob mit Metro oder Bus aber auch zu Fuß konnte man verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Zeit erreichen. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet mit einer großen Auswahl wie wir sie selten gesehen haben bei unseren Reisen. Schon die Begrüßung der Empfangsdame zum Frühstücksbuffet war so freundlich, das der Tag schon zum Frühstück einen richtig guten Anfang hatte. Viele gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe zu finden. Da wir nicht das letzte mal in Rom waren ist das Best Western Plus Hotel Universo unsere erste Wahl für den Hotelaufenthalt. Unser Zimmerservice hat wirklich jeden Tag eine kleinere Sache (Glaswechsel, Handtuch, Hygienetücher usw.) vergessen. Es ließ sich alles korrigieren und war nicht wirklich schlimm aber man sollte es erwähnen. Für die kniffligen Informationen hätten wir auch gerne die deutsche Sprache gesprochen weil es angeboten wurde. Aber OK, gemeinsam mit den freundlichen Rezeptionisten haben wir mit unserem mittelmäßigen Englischkenntnissen alles vernünftig geregelt bekommen.

Spacious room Carpet on the floors make allergics have a hard time. Shower box has a small bulkhead, so bathroom gets all wet every shower.
