• Salomon (9/5): Great location, fun to stay in a former castle. - This used to be a castle. The hotel is on the first floor and there is no elevator so just be mindful of this. It was not an issue for us. The lobby is very fancy with large sofas. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was fairly small but clean and quiet (facing the garden). We paid for the breakfast that was continental style but with a large variety of options (boild eggs, cake, yogurt, cereal, fruit, etc. The location is central (walkable distance to all the attractions but on the other side of the river which made it more affordable. The room could have been a little bigger.

The staff is also excellent -- very friendly and very helpful. We were particularly impressed by Chiara. The room was very basic and quite small.
• fisal (10/5): لمن يبحث عن مكان تاريخي جميل للنوم والاسترخاء بعد يوم طويل في فلورنس فالمكان مناسب وملىء بعبق التاريخ الاصلي يعيد عن الف - المكان ساحر ، يقع في الدور الاول من مبنى تاريخي من القرن ال14 في قلب فلورنس وكل شي يبعد مجرد خطوات ، العرف ليست كبيرة لكنها حميمية وتحتوي على تراس جميل وهي مناسبة جدا للاستراحة في أجواء فاورنس ، الموظفين وأخص الفتاتان الموجدتان في الاستقبال كانو اكثر من رائعتين خزومتان ولطيفتان ومبتسمتان دائما ، الصالة الموجودة في الاستقبال حميمية جدا مع جزء لتناول الفطور او الاسترخاء تمنيت لو كنت قادر ان امدد ليلة او ليلتين اضافيتان في هذا الفندق

Staff were incredibly friendly, they offer breakfast for a fee, and location was great. Only downside was finding the door - its not super clearly marked and I had no phone data to search it up. This could be more clearly communicated before check in perhaps.

• Claude Charlotte (6/5): Couvent mal entretenu au prix d'un hotel confortable - Pas grand chose sauf le quartier où est situé le couvent dans l'oltrarno tout pres du parc Boboli Couvent mal entretenu, très vieillot, sans aucun confort. Nous avions une chambre superieure avec terrasse inutilisable car jouxtant celle des voisins sans separation visuelle. Dans la chambre, pas de commode, juste une vieille garde- robe , une vieille longue table et une chaise. La salle de bain minuscule. mal nettoyée avec une panne d'eau chaude le 1er matin!

D'une manière générale l'établissement est viellissant, les chambres sont plus jolies dans les photos. Notre lit ressemblait plutôt à un matelas posé sur le sommier qu'à un beau lit avec couvre-lit etc. Le petit-déjeuner ne vaut pas son prix, très basique, jus de bouteille. Dommage car on s'attend à plus de niveau vu le prix, l'annonce et l'importance historique de l'établissement.

Floransa'ya tekrar gidersem, ki enfes bir şehir tekrar gideceğim, yine bu otelde tereddütsüz kalırım. Sevmediğim hiçbirşey olmadı.

• Claire (10/5): Peaceful haven close to everything - For me this was an absolute surprise! Such a gem, hidden in quiet part of Oltrarno and close to everything. The sunny terrace with view over the gardens was so lovely. I liked the authenticity, nothing too polished, but very comfortable and nice.

• Mariam (10/5): Изумительное погружение в жизнь Флоренции. - Очень красивый холл на втором этаже, в отеле все также аутентично, красиво, вы погружаетесь в атмосферу искусства заранее. Находиться в очень приятном районе, где можно найти прекрасные рестораны с местной кухней. Персонал очень отзывчивый, дружелюбный, поможет при появлении проблем. Единственный минус (не для меня) нет лифта, кому тяжело подниматься по лестнице учитывайте эту особенность.
• Story (10/5): Hidden gem - The location was unbelievable for the price. A stone’s throw away from the pitti palace and 20 min walk to the Duomo, it was perfect. I have a feeling this will become one of those “hidden gems” that become not so hidden in the near future! It has some charming decoration as well and a very interesting history. The staff were all lovely, especially Alexandra. Thank you for the stay!

• Michael (10/5): Wonderful, classic building in the heart of the Oltrarno neighborhood, highly recommend. - A beautiful, classic building in the Oltrarno neighborhood of Florence, on Via Romana, which is within easy walking distance of most of Florence's sites, Uffizi, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Accademia, Santa Maria Novella, Boboli Gardens, train station, etc. The room was spacious and comfortable with a large balcony overlooking Giardino Corsi. Hotel Annalena staff were courteous and professional and will provide guidance to experiencing the best of Florence, including restaurant recommendations (there are many great restaurants in the Oltrarno neighborhood). I would gladly stay at Hotel Annalena again should we return to Florence. This was not a issue for us but want to point out that there is no elevator in the building. Accessing Hotel Annalena requires climbing three sets of stairs.

I would most definitely s - It is a beautiful historic building with so much more character than your usual hotel. Our rooms had cute little terraces to sit outside. The lobby was welcoming and comfortable. Great location! Within close walking distance to many of Florence’s attractions. The hotel was immaculately clean. The staff was so helpful, friendly and welcoming. I would have enjoyed having screens on the bedroom windows to let fresh air in. I would have liked more varieties of fruits at the breakfast; otherwise it was good.

Easy walking distance to everything (15 minutes to Uffizi, Duomo etc.). Friendly, helpful staff and very clean. The sound proofing was poor, so we were aware of our neighbours in the hotel (as I’m sure they were of us). Whilst it was very clean, the soft furnishings could do with replacing, as worn).

• Susan (9/5): Happy with my room! - I was on my own and my room was great! It was long and skinny but the bed was comfortable and everything felt clean which is the most important thing! This is also a great location across the river from the more touristy part of Florence and if you like walking it's easy to walk to the other side.
• Andres (7/5): Nice but a challenge - Hotel Annalena is a charming and well-located hotel set inside a historic Florentine building full of character. The staff was consistently attentive and kind, and the breakfast was quite decent for the price point. The location itself is excellent and adds a lot to the overall experience. Unfortunately, the hotel also shares some of the common drawbacks of many small boutique properties housed in older buildings. While the atmosphere is authentic, some of the practical amenities that travelers rely on felt below average. Accessing the rooms involved multiple sets of stairs, including another staircase down to our room, which made handling luggage extremely difficult. For travelers with heavy bags, mobility concerns, or elderly companions, this can become a significant challenge.

• Alicia (8/5): Lovely stay - would recommend - Great location for exploring Florence and close to bus stops. They allowed us to store luggage before check in which was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a bunch of flowers in my room and came back one day to find they had been placed in a vase of water which was lovely! Mattress was a little uncomfortable as I could feel bumps - perhaps need new mattresses but overall I still slept fine.

• thierry007 (9/5): Un séjour culturel dans une ville avec un passé fabuleux ! - Beau séjour à Firenze, un grand week-end prolongé, hôtel dans un endroit calme, accessible assez facilement et proche des lieux plus touristiques. L'accueil et le personnel de l'hôtel aimables, discrets mais prêt à rendre service si besoin. Petit déjeuner excellent. Quartier avec beaucoup de restaurants à découvrir. Pour la région et la ville : problème de 4G et de communication avec les réservations dans les musées (heureusement résolues !)
