Linda (8/5): It was great to be located along the Arno river and near some great local restaurants - The staff were excellent!They were courteous and very helpful. Phones in the room to call the front desk. It is an older building and not all rooms have access to the elevator but the staff are willing to carry and delver your bags. There is another hotel along the river nearby with “Lungarno” in the name so make sure you have the correct address for your taxi driver,

Ellen (8/5): A nice stay in Florence! - The location along the river was lovely! A bit away from the main area but close enough to walk everywhere. The terrace was a lovely place to watch the sunset. There was no breakfast buffet - rather you order from a menu. Initially I thought this was a negative - but it was really lovely. The options were great! Our room was on the main floor with windows opening to the street. Not ideal! If I stayed here again I would try to make sure not to have a room on the first floor . People were walking by right next to our window. There are lovely views from higher floors.

Andrew (7/5): Beautiful old historic hotel in Florence. - The location was ok but a little far from the centre. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower and bathroom are large. The bathroom was not cleaned when we arrived. The room was small and hard to maneuver suitcases etc.

Castro (10/5): Perfeito - Todos os funcionários muito simpáticos, inclusive um falava português, o que nos ajudou bastante. Nos possibilitaram o check-in mais cedo também. Instalação maravilhosa, quarto espaçoso, com banheiro grande e itens de higiene pessoal maravilhosos (fiquei apaixonada pelo hidratante). Localização excelente, próxima ao rio que, em uma caminhada gostosa, dá acesso a ponte Vecchio, também próxima de uma das estações de trem. Não tivemos problemas

The room didn’t have a working phone to the front desk or a working coffee maker. There was some question whether the umbrella on the patio could be opened as the one on the main patio could not. When I expressed my frustrations to the front desk, I was met with a defensive answer that the number was listed in the paper on the bed for the front desk. I also booked this room a week in advance, and on the day of, it was significantly lower in price.

Der Frühstücksraum versprüht Dank Wandmalereien das Ambiente eines kleinen Palastes. Die Qualität des Frühstücks (man darf für €25.- bestellen was man möchte) war ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss (wir hatten die günstigere Kategorie gebucht) war eher klein, das Bad sehr klein.

Location is great without having to rent a car because everything is walking distance. I think there is a mixed up on the pictures of the room, this specific room I booked do not have bathtub as shown on the picture.

Well positioned with around a 20 min walk to central area. Hotel had a sterile feel as it was more like serviced rooms rather than a traditional hotel. Breakfast was offered but at a high cost.

Lynn (8/5): Nice clean hotel, friendly staff. - We didn’t have breakfast, we thought it was a little pricey. Having free coffee & tea & soft drinks in our room was appreciated thanks. A bit of a walk into the city centre. The room was a little small and not enough storage to put things in the bathroom.

A room was quite miserable and dark and everything was broken including lights Lamps everything very old. And not well maintained.

Mozzih (9/5): Lovely hotel in quiet area - Lovely hotel next to the river - as it's slightly away from the main tourist area is quieter but there are still plenty of eating places near by. We mainly walked everywhere but the hotel was close to public transport. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast room is a delight but we didn't eat there so can't comment on the breakfast. There is also a roof top area which overlooks the river and a nice place for an evening drink.
