Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera moderna, pulita, sistemata, bagno con doccia, il cambio degli asciugamani veniva fatto ogni giorno e lo staff è stato super premuroso e gentilissimo nell’accogliere qualsiasi nostra richiesta, abbiamo chiesto due cuscini in più e siamo stati pure accontentati! Ho avuto esattamente la camera che ho prenotato. Posizione super centrale; a due pass dalla stazione, dal mercato centrale; dal mercato della pelle, dalle principali attrazioni. Colazione varia, dai cornetti, alle torte, allo yogurt e grano fino ai salumi pane uova strapazzate, buonissima la frutta!! Se dovessi ritornare a Firenze, ritornerei qui con la mia famiglia! - nulla

• pampeople_10 (8/5): A Pleasant Stay - This hotel is well situated to explore the delights of Florence and only a five minute walk from the main train station. It is clean, rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there is a good lounge area in which to relax. It lies on the junction of a relatively busy road and an outdoor market, which was operating on each day of our 3-day stay, so outside noise can be a factor in the bedrooms, although we managed to sleep comfortably on 2 out of 3 nights. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Two downsides. The hotel bar was closed throughout our stay. We were given a free bottle of Chianti ( compensation for the bar closure?) in the room, which was a thoughtful gesture. The breakfast was a little disappointing. Not much in the way of cooked options ( scrambled egg only), and a limited amount of fruit. Overall, however, this was a good hotel, ideally situated to access all that this magical city has to offer.

• leahsV5657BQ (8/5): Solo trip October 25 - I chose this hotel purely for its location and proximity to many of the main sights in Florence city centre. The room was comfortable and clean for 1 person on a solo trip and was serviced daily by house keeping, although the rooms could maybe benefit from some updating/modernisation. The hotel is in a very lively area of Florence but the noise level was not an issue in the room. Reception staff were very helpful throughout the visit and let me check in early when I arrived as the room was ready for check-in which was a real benefit after arriving on an early flight. Overall very good value for money for a clean and comfortable room chosen mainly for the location and proximity to Florence.

I am writing to bring to your attention a significant issue we experienced during our recent stay at [Hotel Name], booked through Expedia. From the first night of our three-night stay, we were confronted with a very unpleasant and persistent sewer odor in our room. I immediately reported this concern to the reception, and although maintenance was sent to address the issue, their efforts were limited to spraying chemicals and attempting to clear the drain. Unfortunately, the smell of the chemicals only worsened the situation, and the foul odor persisted throughout our stay. As the nights went on, the problem did not improve, and on our final night, the situation became unbearable. The sewer gas had completely infiltrated the room, making it extremely uncomfortable and unhealthy to stay inside. This was especially concerning because my son has asthma, and the strong odors and chemical fumes aggravated his breathing. Despite repeatedly communicating our concerns to the hotel staff, including the front desk, no effective solution or room change was offered. Their responses were polite but unhelpful, and we felt ignored as paying guests. Given these circumstances, I kindly request that you review this matter and assist us in finding a fair resolution — such as a partial refund or suitable compensation for the discomfort. Thanks

Eine super Dusche mit verschiedenen Möglichkeiten und viel, viel Platz - eine Familiendusche. Die Klima war sehr laut und sehr stark eingestellt. Aber das kann man ja ändern. Schade, dass das Fenster in ein Patio schaute, man konnte also nicht wirklich lüften oder irgendeine Aussicht geniessen. Es war fast wie ein fensterloses Zimmer! Aber vielleicht hatte ich auch einfach Pech und alle anderen Zimmer sind anders.

• rowen10 (8/5): Florence leg of a Riviera tour - Travelled with Riviera Travel & stayed here for 3 nights. Very central & easy walking to all of the main attractions. Plenty of places to eat within a few minutes of the hotel. Large room but in need of some much needed TLC. No view at all from our window, but it is a city centre hotel so not surprised. Despite its location we were not disturbed by any outside noise. Staff on reception were very attentive & keen to help. Good continental breakfast. Would recommend for a city break.
• paolao468 (2/5): Uncompassionate and uncooperative—beware. - I had to cancel my trip due to a serious health issue and provided medical documentation well in advance. I reached out with a heartfelt message explaining my situation, but the hotel responded with a generic refusal. Expedia also tried to help, but the hotel declined to make any exceptions. This wasn’t a last-minute cancellation, and the refusal felt less about policy and more about a lack of basic compassion. I strongly suspect they resold the room, effectively doubling their profit while refusing to support a customer in need. This experience reflects a troubling lack of care and integrity, it was disheartening and unprofessional. I would not recommend booking with this property.

Despite providing medical documentation and explaining that I was physically unable to travel, my request for a refund was met with a cold, scripted response. I reached out with sincerity, sharing the context and asking for compassion. Their reply? “We understand the situation and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, a direct refund is not possible.” This was not a last-minute cancellation—there were still nearly three weeks before check-in. The refusal felt less about policy and more about a complete disregard for basic empathy. Even Expedia intervened on my behalf, but they too were stonewalled: “We’re following up on your request to cancel your booking and to reach out to the property for a refund. As much as we wanted to fulfill your request, we are subject to the vendor’s rules and cannot override their policies.” It’s hard not to suspect that the room was resold after my cancellation, allowing the company to profit twice while refusing to support a customer in genuine need. This experience reflects a troubling lack of care and integrity. I would strongly caution others against booking with this establishment.
• Joe (8/5): - Really my only complaint is that the shower was small but other than that the overall experience was good and this place is an excellent choice close to the trains station making it highly convenient for stop over trips in Florence It’s one block away from Mercato Centrale , which is a must visit place, the food court on the 2nd floor is really good. Don’t waste your money on the highest rated restaurants in Florence, there’s better local options around this hotel Also this hotel is walking distance from everything.
• anne (7/5): - The hotel is just 10-15mins walking distance from the train station, there was a mercato nearby and walking distance to all the other attractions we went to. The breakfast was nice. The room has a musty smell and there was black stuff on their AC that looked like molds. The shower has a certain smell too and there are molds in between the tile crevices. The interior of the hotel looked outdated.

• T3266UUpatriciab (2/5): Not recommended - This was a business trip and we wanted to be close to the Palazzo dei Congressi. It was walking distance. We reserved a triple room online for four days with a discount and free cancellation rate. The hotel charged ‘pre-authorization’ fee to our credit card 10 days before our arrival. This was without notice. Upon arrival they justify this transaction with a cancellation of the pre authorization fee. The first three nights were discounted but the fourth was overpriced. In average we did not get a discount for the stay. The room was not at all as those shown online in their website. The walls and furniture were off white without decor, no pictures in the wall, no flowers, the electrical outlets were lose, the door was hard to open and close, the TV remote control did not work, one of the flush button of the toilets did not work. Overall it is not recommended.

• Alejandro (8/5): Correcto - La ubicación del hotel fenomenal, cerca de todo, centro; supermercados, restaurantes y la estación de tren. Nosotros fuimos de Roma a Florencia en tren y llegamos en 5 minutos andando al hotel. El desayuno tipo buffet correcto, tenía un poquito de todo. El último día que volábamos de vuelta a España salimos a las 5 de la mañana y nos prepararon una bolsa con fruta, yogur, zumo, croissant, mermelada, tostas y crema de cacao para cada uno. Las camas adicionales son para niños. Para adultos un poco incómodas. El gel/champú un poco escaso, nos dejaban un sobre para cada uno
• LEONARDO (9/5): Firenze, fra arte e gastronomia. - Con grande sorpresa il bagno era dotato di cabina per bagno turco! Camera ampia e pulita. E' praticamente in centro città , si raggiungono facilmente i principali luoghi turistici. Migliorerei l'offerta della prima colazione ; ero già stato in questo Hotel 10 anni prima e la ricordavo più variegata.

• César Alberto (10/5): - Sorprendentemente grata la estancia. La habitación con buenas instalaciones, AA funcionando muy bien y silencioso. El desayuno correcto. Vamos un acierto la elección No es muy céntrico y la zona a veces un poco complicada, pero nada que no supieramos. Un pero de verdad es el alcance del WIFI.

• Josephine (8/5): Une magnifique séjour - L’emplacement Proche de la gare et du centre pour les visites. La propreté de la chambre. Le très bon petit déjeuner et même en partant à 5h du matin un petit sac préparé avec jus gâteaux croissants très belle attention. Le personnels est très agréable de jour comme de nuit un très bon séjour Un petit peu de bruit
