- tania (10/5): Excellent location - Entry into the property can b tricky with not a lot of initial information for entry and end exit of the building. A mall old lift did the job. The actual foyer/entry of the building was not well maintained, but not part of the hotel's responsibility. The hotel lobby was on the 3rd floor with the dining area. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was typical of size in Italy, but it worked. As did the small attached bathroom. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room so it met our needs for convenience to the majority of sights in the city. Location can't be beat, just a few steps down the street to the Duomo, lots of shopping nearby and plenty of choice for restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was varied over the 3 days and adequate to start your day. The beds and pillows were firm, The room was quiet, despite its central locarion. We would stay here again for the location.

Because of our status with Expedia we were upgraded to a Suite with a private rooftop terrace with a view of the Duomo and surrounding area. It was amazing. The staff was super friendly. The beds were on the firm side, which might not suit everyone, but when I mentioned it, they provided extra padding, which made a big difference. The air conditioning worked very well, which was much appreciated during the hot days. The shower had great water pressure and stayed consistently hot, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and satisfying with a good variety of options. The location is excellent, with many major tourist sites within easy walking distance. Travelling with a teen, the spotty wifi was a slight nuisance. Would recommend for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great service.

The staff were exceptionally warm and approachable—always ready to help with anything, and genuinely interested in making my stay memorable. I especially appreciated how the ladies at reception chatted with me about where I was from—it added such a personal touch. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, which made staying connected a breeze. Location-wise, it couldn't be better—just steps from the stunning Duomo Cathedral and surrounded by charming cafés and shops. The room and hotel were spotlessly clean—truly the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. My room was cosy, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything I needed. They even helped me out with an iron and ironing board on my first day, and held my luggage before check-in, which made my arrival super convenient. The free breakfast was a delight: clean, plentiful, and full of delicious options you could help yourself to. It really set the tone for each day. The bathroom door was cracked at the bottom and didn’t shut properly and the shower leaked. This, along with the mediocre toiletries make it a budget hotel and we will likely stay elsewhere next time.
- Melanie (10/5): - Wonderful hotel, the location cannot be beat, the staff is so friendly and helpful. While the room size is very typical for Europe, they are nicely updated and clean. Couldn’t ask for an easier or better stay in Florence.
- Mike (6/5): - Great location just a minute from the Duomo and shopping. The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. Bathroom was descent with great water pressure. Beds were firm but pillows were flat and hard. Great to have a mini fridge but it was room temperature. A decent breakfast was included.

It was clean, the staff were really helpfull, there was drinks available free 24 hrs a day. The room was small but O.K. as you were mainly out and about and the room was just to sleep and freshen up in. Good hotel - would stay here again .

Hotel staff is very friendly and nice, will try to answer to your questions even they don’t know all the answers. Room is ok, basic type with a bathroom very small. Good for 1-2 travelers probably not good for family trip. Overall a good choice to stay in Florence for a day or two.

Only small issues were crib was an over used pack n play that didn’t seem the sturdiest so we opted not to use it and heavy rains caused the drain in the shower to back up but breakfast was good and couldn’t beat the location.

Only negative was the stairs down to main floor -poorly lit, especially in the evening, with slippery rounded edges. There is a small elevator.

Room was clean and area was good for getting to all the attractions. The included breakfast was also just okay. Sits on a very busy road, so not a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Florence if that is what you are looking for.

The breakfast every morning was phenomenal. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Only recommendation is to update the decor in the rooms a bit, but otherwise the beds were comfy and it was very clean.

Very helpful staff, bedroom and bathroom very comfortable and spacious. Small breakfast room but always very well stocked, super friendly staff and kept very clean. A great 3 star hotel option for an enjoyable stay in Florence.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable hotel - The room was clean and comfortable. The room didn't have any good view but we were using the hotel as a place to rest between our activities. The best part of the room was the shower. After a long day of activities, it was a bliss to get in the shower and get a deep massage with the high pressured water. The breakfast is typical cold, continental spread with different breads, fruits and juice/tea/coffee. They had good pillows (hard and soft for each person) and there was an in-room safe. The location was good too with all the major sites within 5-15 minutes of walking distance.

I rarely find beds in hotels good. I like my bed mattress on the firm side and it hit the mark here. We really had a great time!!! The location of hotel is fantastic, next to the Duomo and within 0.5-1 km of every major tourist attraction.

- Christopher (10/5): Great hotel perfectly positioned for attractions - Oscar and all staff were very friendly and super helpful. Al spoke excellent English. We booked tickets for attractions through them and they gave extensive advice and great options. We mentioned we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and within minutes of arrival, Oscar brought a bottle of Prosecco on ice to our room. A very lovely touch. Location is excellent just 2 mins from the Domo and easy walking to other main attractions. We highly recommend the hotel and particularly the excellent location and staff.
