alain (8/5): Séjour calme et pratique à Venise. - Très bon accueil. Hôtel simple, sans ascenseur, mais très propre et très bien placé à proximité du parking et de la gare ferroviaire. Très bon petit déjeuner. Très calme, dans une rue très peu passante. Rien pour cette catégorie.

Our host was helpful and prompt and gave excellent recommendations. The apartment was spacious and easily could have accommodated a much larger group than our group of 4. We would definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity to return to Venice.

andreweZ1037NJ (6/5): Let down by the details - A good clean hotel in a useful area near the station with 24 hour reception but with some misgivings. Breakfast is not free, 5€ for coffee and a croissant or 18€ for the works. We had ordered continental breakfast each day but they tried to charge us for the full breakfast and we had to argue quite hard to prove we had had the minimum. We had to wait most mornings to get a prepared table sometimes having to wipe the crumbs off from the previous occupants. Our room on the top floor overlooked a small piazza, there was a small safe and an aircon but no fridge. There was plentiful hanging space but only one tiny shelf for clothes so we used the spare bed for that together with our luggage. There were only 2 bedside plug sockets so you had to do away with the bedside light if you wanted to charge your phone. Likewise for the kettle which in the end we plugged into a floor socket by the bed, teabags were supplied but no milk. The shower room was very elegant but with nowhere to put the supplied soap, the shower itself had no dish for soap or shampoo which had to go on the floor. The hotel was sadly let down by these little details, design in Italy is often at the forefront but can be let down by these little things and at €300 a night we expected a little more.

RICARDO (8/5): Very good value for the money - The location and the staff's welcome are the highlights. Super clean. The value for money is very good because the location is excellent (!!) and the price unbeatable. The rooms require some maintenance that doesn't require much effort or significant expense (for example, replacing light switch plates, light bulbs of the same color tone, etc.). I believe there are easy wins for the hotel in this regard.

Eszter (8/5): Jó ár, jó fekvés, kedves kiszolgálás, felszeretségen lehetne kicsit javítani. - Kedves kiszolgálás, amint beléptünk, kaptunk egy térképet és programokat is ajánlottak nekünk. Kényelmes volt a szoba, és jó fekvése volt az épületnek, a buszpályaudvar egy rövid sétára volt csak és egy vaporetto megálló is volt a közelben. Minden nap jött a takarító és feltöltötte a kifogyott készleteket. Jó lett volna, ha vannak evőeszközök és hűtő a szobában. Az ablakból nem volt túl fényes a kilátásunk, és a falak elég vékonyak voltak.

Martin (8/5): Hotel mit gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis in der Altstadt und in Bahnhofsnähe - Das kleine Hotel liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Santa Lucia entfernt in einer ruhigen Gasse. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer und das Bad waren in Ordnung. Es ist natürlich kein Luxushotel. Auch nachts war es ruhig, obwohl unser Zimmer zu einer Gasse hin ging. Das Frühstück war für ein solches Hotel außergewöhnlich gut, vielfältig und reichhaltig. Die Bar hat den ganzen Tag über geöffnet. Wir hatten nichts auszusetzen.

Craicup (8/5): Great Staff and super location! - Located near the the bus and train station, this hotel was also really handy for the Grand Canal and their regular Vaporetti. The really helpful person at reception when I arrived suggested a wander to the Ghetto area and the bars on Fondamenta dei Ormesini which was only about a 10 minute walk away and became my go-to spot in the evening. They also gave me an upgrade which was very much appreciated but I think I may have preferred a slightly larger, brighter room in the hotel itself. The general area is great, in that it's as close as it gets to what I imagine it is to actually live in Venice, with a couple of lovely places for coffee and gorgeous snacks, it's the perfect base for your tip to this amazing city.

Laura (4/5): Attention de ne pas se faire arnaquer avec la taxe pour touristes - Bonne localisation, personnel accueillant La chambre n’était pas très propre, des cheveux par terre et dans la douche à notre arrivée. Et au moment du départ, le monsieur a l’accueil nous a demandé de payer la taxe d’entrée à Venise de 5€40. Nous avons été surpris car il est bien stipulé que nous n’avons pas à la régler si nous passons plus d’une nuit dans un hôtel à Venise. Mais il a insisté et quand nous avons voulu régler par carte il nous a répondu qu’il ne prenait pas la carte mais uniquement des espaces pour cette taxe. Nous en avions et lui avons donné, mais avons compris plus tard qu’il nous avait arnaqué et que nous n’aurons pas la payer, le fait qu’il demande que des espèces était très suspicieux… faites attention !
