• Katarina (8/5): - Room was clean but door was not so thick and we heard noises from the hall. Neighborhood was full of administrative buildings, one small grocery and restaurants. Metro was 5-10 minutes by walk. Reception was open 24 hours and staff was nice :) The bed was comfortable and the room has air conditioning. Ideal for a nice weekend.

• Verified traveler (8/5): 떼르미니에서 가깝고 이동이 편한 숙소 - 로마 떼르미니와 가깝고, 레푸블리카와 매우 가깝지만. 얼마 전 사고로 인해서 레푸블리카는 운행정지 중이었습니다. 다행히 체크인할 때 친절하게 안내를 받았고. 1인 싱글룸에, 화장실 욕실 ensuite + 무료wifi, 무료조식 포함으로 매우 저렴하게 지냈습니다. 단, 위치가 그런만큼 약간의 자동차 소음은 감안해야 합니다. 주변에 저렴하면서 맛있는 식당도 많이 있습니다. 혼자 출장간 동안 매우 잘 지내다가 왔습니다.

El WC estaba desencajado y era incómodo (es un apaño pequeño y aún así, no estaba hecho). No repusieron papel higiénico en 3 días y tuvimos que pedirlo. El desayuno muy poco saludable y variado. Personal muy agradable y buena ubicación.

Kort avstand til togstasjonen og i gåavstand til det aller meste av severdigheter i gamlebyen/kjernen av Roma. Ok frokost.

• Nikolay (8/5): Проживание в отеле Маргарет - Проживал в номере 407. Угловой. Вид с него хороший, на трассу прилегающую и на перекрёсток дорог. Но в целом, шумно. Когда спишь, слышно машины. Номер находится прям в столового зала- открываешь дверь и выходишь в столовый зал. Завтрак легкий: нарезка одного вида ветчины и один вид сыра. Круассан, йогурты, 2 вида соков, тортики 2 вида, джем, мёд,чай/ кофе в аппарате. Номерок маленький, но чтобы переспать ночь- сойдёт. В номере кондиционер, холодильник, душевая кабинка, туалет, биде, шампунь, мыло, шапочка. Вай- фай в номере есть, но неочень быстрый. Рядом находятся кафешка, магазинчики, аптека и главный жд вокзал Рима. В пешей доступности все достопримечательности этого района- площадь Испании, лестница знаменитая, фонтаны...много брендовых магазинов.

La única pega es que dos noches se gastó el agua caliente de la caldera y había q esperar una hora para disponer de ella. Aún así muy recomendable. • Raul (8/5): Esta muy centrico y bien comunicado el desayuno bu - Roma es una ciudad caótica y extresante, hay que madrugar para ver las cosas tranquilos, si no madrugas olvidate. Lo mejor la fontana de Trevi y el Vaticano.
• Deborah (6/5): Mediocre accomodations close to everything - Well situated although a bit hard to find, located on a busy noisy street. Rooms were adequate though small. There is an elevator (cage type but worked fine) vs climbing several flights of stairs. When we opened the window it was apparent other guests had been smoking. There was old wood (maybe shutters of some sort) inside the window casing with cigarette butts right there - definitely a fire hazard. Breakfast was simple but was a good start to the day. Staff (most) were friendly and helpful. The owner (I believe that's who he was) was kind of grumpy and wanted to rush people from the breakfast area. For the price and convenience of being near attractions and the train, it was suitable but not what I expected. Rick Steves had said it was a good choice so we went with that. Maybe he was given a better room for a good rating?

Juice, coffe from coffemachin, corn flakes and milk. No refridgerator in the room. Very small rooms with just one ordinarie chair. No balcony. Heavy traffic on the street, very noisy.

Aamiainen: makea croissant, 1 sämpylä, hilloja, muroja, makeita mehuja, erilaisia kahveja automaatista. Huone yleisiä tiloja parempi, meillä perhesviitti viidelle. Hintaan nähden ihan ok hotelli, jos haluaa yöpyä edullisesti. Lähellä Termini ja metroasema sekä Via Nazionale-katu. Alakerrassa pari kivaa kahvilaa.

Rooms are small but suitable since time was spent touring, not in room. Breakfast was okay, beds were somewhat firm, a/c was barely adequate. O hotel fica um pouco escondido, no quarto andar de um prédio, o que é muito comum em Roma. A localização do hotel é excelente, fica numa travessa da Via XX de Settembre e próxima aos principais pontos turísticos que podem ser alcançados à pé. O pessoal é bem cordial e acolhedor. Um ambiente bem familiar. Quando voltar a Roma volto a me hospedar. Altamente recomendável!

El hotel dentro de todo estuvo bien, nuestra habitación no tenía baño, estaba en el pasillo. Es un hotel estilo antiguo y no esta en muy buenas condiciones. Para pasar unas noches está bien pero no es una locura. Las fotos que salen del hotel es solo una habitacion, el resto de las mismas ni se le parecen. El personal que nos atendió fue muy atento

Dovuti pagare altri 40 euro in piu'. Il letto lo spacciano per atrimoniale invece sono 2 lettini attaccati, con spacco centrale ovviamente e per coppia non va bene. Doccia bagno rotta, bagno strettissimo con 2 scalini altissimi pericolosi. Cambio biancheria ogni 3 giorni, cosa da matti, dovrebbe essere giornaliero. Camera pessima. stretta. Orribile. Stanza colazione caldissima, poche cose da mangiare. We were able to find street parking and walked or took the metro to see everything. The room was clean. There were 5 of us, so it was a little tight, but very functional.

Rooms are small but comfortable and we really enjoyed the location as it was close to the train station and easy walking distance to most of the tourist places in the old parts of the city. We walked everywhere here and even walked from the train station to the hotel which is about 10 min with all our luggage. Staff were friendly and breakfast was just continental but it got us going in the morning. Will be staying there again at the end of this trip as we fly out from Rome in 2 weeks.

• kostas (6/5): - Frienly and helpfull staff. The room was small but clean. It was worth the money. The worst thing was the noise especially from the street but also from the inside of the hotel. The first night we didnt get much sleep! Bying a pair of earplugs solved that for the rest of our staying. Overall it was nice staying especially at that price!
• Suretha (8/5): Most enjoyable stay at Hotel Margaret - We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Margaret in room 402. The staff/owners where friendly and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is close to everything. Our kids loved riding in the old styled elevator. Breakfast is continental so there is no muesli, fruit or eggs but the coffee and croissants were always lovely and fresh. Traffic was only noisy when we had our window open so did not bother us too much considering how central we were. We will definitely be back, what a lovely place to stay.
• Inés (8/5): Hotel en una ubicación perfecta - He estado con mi novio hace dos días y nos hemos quedado en el Hotel Margaret tres noches. La ubicación del hotel es excelente, puedes ir caminando a todos los sitios de interés andando y esta en una zona super segura y tranquila (no podía ser de otra manera al estar rodeado de varios ministerios y del Quirinale). Está en un edificio antiguo con techos altísimos. La habitación era pequeña pero limpia y con una cama muy cómoda. El problema que tenía es que se escuchaban mucho los ruidos de la habitación contigua (que afortunadamente sólo estuvo ocupada la primera noche). Para el precio que pagamos ofrece un desayuno correcto, pero demasiado dulce, echamos de menos poder tomar algo salado. El personal es atento y además están allí las 24h del día. Además, el último día teníamos que irnos del hotel a las 6.30 de la mañana y nos dejaron desayunar aunque el desayuno empezara a las 7.30.
• Andrea (8/5): Hotel a 10 minuti dalla stazione - L'hotel è a dieci minuti a piedi dalla stazione in una zona tranquilla, vicino al Corpo Forestale dello Stato. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile. Le camere non sono spaziosissime ma sono pulite. Il bagno è un po' piccolo ma ci si adatta. La colazione è buona ed è la tipica colazione all'italiana. Insomma ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo...

Huone oli riittävän tilava 5-henkiselle perheelle, mutta vessan toiminta hieman surkeaa (vetämisen jälkeen piti aina pitkä tovi odotella, jotta toimi seuraavan kerran). Aamupala oli surkea; sama vaalea leipä ja imelän makea croisantti joka aamu; päälle pelkkää voita ja marmeladia ja lisukkeena automaattikahvia. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Hotelli sijaitsi 4. kerroksessa ja hissiin mahtui kerrallaan max 3 henkeä. Lähin kunnollinen ja kohtuuhintainen ruokakauppa aika pitkän kävelymatkan päässä ja nurkan takana oleva kioski aivan ylihinnoiteltu.

• Verified traveler (8/5): The Devil's in the detail - We liked the room, the bathroom and the breakfast. We had the room closest to the reception, so the phone could be heard when it rang, but not the conversationsame outside. I wish the shower were bigger and the hot water would stay for the duration of my bath. The location was convenient just because it was close to Termini and we had to visit it often. But during the night that area gets sketchy. We walked to the Fontana di Trevi (in repair) and from the Coliseum, but they are not close to the hotel. The cleaning service was not good. They never changed the sheets or the towels (we stayed 6 nights). The bed was made out of 2 twin beds, so the gap in the middle was somewhat annoying. Overall, it was fine, just some details that could make it better.

Odore di fogna dal bagno della stanza, spazi poco puliti, abbiamo trovato degli insetti nella camera. Colazione NON continentale (come scritto su web) e poco abbondante. Si suggerisce: imbiancatura delle pareti, rimozione/pulizia della tappezzeria e dei tendaggi nella hall, utilizzo di tovaglie per la colazione di natura igienico sanitaria appropriata. Per il resto personale cortese e disponibile e ottima posizione per visitare la città. Di certo non vale il prezzo che ci hanno fatto pagare.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - We book this hotel in this website using Chinese, it shows private bathroom, but when we after checked in, then I knew we should share the bathroom and the bathroom doesn't in the bedroom!!! And the bathroom is quite small!! We stayed two days, but second night the cleaner didn't give any shampoo and shower gel to us! The website shows we can check in 24h, but actually the earliest time is 11AM, it is not clear!! The room is quite clearness, but the smell is extremely bad! I can't stand it but there are not another room to change. The breakfast is quit limited, there are only two bread! It means you just can eat two bread!

A személyzet udvarias és segítőkész. A szoba tiszta, az ablak jól hangszigetelt és teljesen elsötétíthető. A légkondi és a széf is jó szolgálatot tett. A harmadik estén sajnos 'elment' a wifi, ami másnap délelőttre sem javult meg; ez kisebb bosszúságot okozott intézkedés terén (de ez nem feltétlenül a hotel hibája).

Camere accoglienti, arredate in modo semplice ma con visto.Posizione strategica, a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione e a 25 minuti dal centro. Personale gentile e disponibile, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Assolutamente consigliato!!
• Sohail (8/5): Margaret Hotel deserves 3.5 to 4 - The Hotel is near Termini station-walking distance (unless you have luggage). The apartment was converted to Hotel (common scenario in Rome). Breakfast included (do n't be excited-very limited food at breakfast). Room cleanness okay (bathroom so so). Expect 3.5; but I will give 4, because of hospitality.I will recommend this hotel,because of courteous staffs at front, who helped me a lot, including getting cab to Airport.Thank you Zia and others for your help.
• Kayleigh (8/5): hotel Marvellous Margaret - I bought this 3 night stay for my parents 50th birthdays. They loved the hotel and its location and said the staff were excellent and friendly. The room was perfect and everything promised in their advertising was 100% true . The only negative is the fact that there is no kettle provided in the room . Well worth the money and they would have no hesitation telling people about the hotel and its perfect location .
• Kim Edward (8/5): Friendly staff, great location - This hotel was a very good deal in a convenient location close to Termini but not too close. My single room had a nice street view but the drawback was the nice street noise, even with the windows closed. A good set of earplugs solved the problem. The single room was very tiny but it was all I needed.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great stay for the money we paid - We stayed for 4 nights, the hotel is in good location. When we came in receptionist greet us, He was lovely and helpful. The other stuff wasn't very welcoming. We didn't have a bathroom in our room, but we have private bathroom at the end of the corridor. it was very small. Breakfast was lovely The most biggest disadvantage was that our room was next to the kitchen and every morning at 6 o'clock there was someone from stuff chatting loudly.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel Margaret - Pros: good location, 15 min walking distance to Roma termini and main attractions, quiet, has a/c, shower worked and had hot water, small elevator (enough for two people and 3 pieces of luggage) Cons: room was very small, housekeeping did not clean room daily but only made the bed and emptied the trash can, there was only 1 trash can for room/bathroom to share, hotel supplied soap bar and gel wash was very small amount and not given daily (so bring your own if you stay here), hotel did not change/give new towels daily, found a dirty toothbrush in the drawer, found dirty used band-aid on top of shower, breakfast was very very limited and not great at all, blow dryer was outdated, bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, blanket was thin

• emrah (4/5): 3rd floor in an apartment - I've learned not to expect much from Italian hotels, but this one was an interesting one. we could not find the hotel on the street first until we realize it was actually located on the 3rd floor of an apartment. There was an elevator, that fit only one person along with a suitcase, and didn't really look all that safe. The hotel staff was nice and friendly, but the room was so small that one would have to sit on the bed for the other to walk to the bathroom. Breakfast was offered but very limited.
• Megan (4/5): Not the best - It was hard to find the hotel because it is a floor in a big building and there were no big signs. The elevator was so small and not very sturdy. The room was very small which was fine but there were shoe marks on the wall from where people smashed bugs and the show prints nor the bugs were cleaned off of the wall. Our room was right by the front desk where someone is supposed to be present all hours of the day because you have to leave your key with them when you leave and also have to be let into the building by someone at the front desk. Well at 2:45am one night the front desk phone wouldn't stop ringing for over 10 minutes and you could hear someone trying to get buzzed into the building but nobody was at the front desk to let them in. It did have sufficient air conditioning though which was good because of the Rome heat. I didn't really care for the location of the hotel besides the fact it was a 10 minute walk to the metro/train station.

AC and TV worked great, bathroom was small but everything was clean and worked well. Staff was very nice, breakfast was good in the morning, and they gave good recommendations on nearby restaurants.

They were able to answer all questions and help us plan our days to see the most of Rome. I left my purse in the hotel and they immediately emailed me to ask where to send it to. • Lauren (6/5): Cute budget hotel that needs a deep cleaning - Very happy with this cute boutique hotel - staff was great, helped us with directions, dinner reservations, etc. Was walking distance (granted my husband and I both enjoy walking) to all of the sites - the subway is about a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast was fairly standard but good. Biggest issue was that the bathroom was dirty. Not just dusty but DIRTY. Mold was growing in the shower (the way the door opened I don't think the maid could see it when she was cleaning). There was a memory foam thing in the shower that would be nice if in your home except in a hotel you wonder how clean it can be. My husband dropped his toothbrush and used mine for the rest of the trip because we were concerned about its safety.
• Maarja (10/5): Very nice, proper Italian feel - The lady at reception went above and beyond, the location was superb, less than 10 minutes walk from the train station, metro close by. Great building - proper italian feel and a nice breakfast. Will definitely return!
• Janice (6/5): Basic accommodation convenient for terminus. - As a solo traveller this was just adequate. The single bed room was narrow and rather saggy. A small table and wooden chair, no coffee or tea making facilities. Tiny bathroom with Shower, sink and toilet up 3 steps. Shower doorway quite narrow, so a heavily built person would struggle to get in. Door opened onto the breakfast room/social room so it was noisy until around 11 pm and then at 6.30 when the breakfast was set out. Despite no smoking notices I had to put a towel across the door base to stop smoke coming in at night. Reasonable for a city where space is at a premium, but lacking in charm.
• Rose (10/5): Very good service and overall stay - The hotel is close to the main metro station, and the front desk was very helpful. There is an elevator from the main floor up to the hotel, make sure to use it! The breakfast was great, and amenities were acceptable. The room was very cold because the heat doesn't turn on until the temperature reaches a certain point, but there were additional blankets so it wasn't an issue. The drains started to smell after we showered, but gradually went away. The room was clean as well. They make you leave your room key at the front desk before leaving the hotel each day, but there's a very small safe in the room, so we locked up our valuables and we kept the key to it while we were away. There are a few restaurants around the hotel as well. Overall it was a good stay for a four day trip.
• Offir (6/5): Way overused mattress - Tiny room, as expected in this location and for this price, so no surprises there. Yet, the mattress was so old and lumpy that I had to sleep on a tiny part of it to avoid serious back pains.
• James (6/5): Adequate - I know Rick Steves mentions this hotel, but it is really nothing special. I've stay in inexpensive travelers hotels in Europe before and I'm not impressed. The breakfast was minimal and the street was quite noisy.
• Family (10/5): Great hotel for Roman Holiday - Hotel Margaret was in a great location for us - handy for Termini station and Repubblica metro. It was also an easy walk to the Spanish Steps. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was plentiful. Our family room had lots of space and was really clean as were all of the common areas. A great find and we'd definitely go back.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel was clean and very close to train terminal and sites. Ther was a hairdryer in the room but was mounted too high for it to be plugged in which made it useless. Found this issue in only one of the rooms ( we stayed several nights but had to switch rooms). The room street-side was noisy, take ear plugs. The I ternet, although free, was down one of the nights we stayed.

The hotel is located on the 4th floor of a building with multiple businesses so don't look for a hotel "building" like you would see in the states.Look for the hotel embassy, it's that building. Very small bathrooms, but great value for the price. Would stay here again.
