Guest Reviews
- zarshiac (2/5): SCAM don’t book - DO NOT BOOK. SCAM.
They will take a prepayment and you won’t get a refund, even if you cancel within the free cancellation period.
I wish I had read the reviews before I booked because I have spent months trying to get a refund from booking. com and it’s looking very unlikely now.
- 88agnest (2/5): - beware scam , booking made in january for september, fully paid , the hotel cancelled my booking in may and still hasn't refunded me
- svetlana1718 (2/5): SM - The worst experience I’ve ever had while traveling. Hotel Airone unilaterally cancelled my reservation on May 1st, and more than a month later I still haven’t received my refund. I contacted the hotel directly multiple times — no reply whatsoever. No explanation, no apology, no action. Just total silence.
This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable — zero professionalism and zero responsibility.
If you value your time, money, and peace of mind — stay far away from this place. There’s a complete lack of basic decency and customer care.
- 642gunab (2/5): FRAUD! Nightmare! - FRAUD! FRAUD!FRAUD!Hotel was cancelled three days before arrival due to maintenance and refund haven’t paid even after more than two months now! Booked through Booking.com and they as well not helpful at all for getting the money back! AVOID!
- 827unak (2/5): Scam - Booked with booking.com. read reviews and emailed hotel to confirm booking. No responce. recieved an email 3 days before due to arrive from booking.com, saying the hotel had cancelled the room. So we booked another the hotel. I recieved an emailed the day before we were due to say room was confirmed, I reasons to my original email sent a week earlier. We had paid our second hotel upfront as it was so close to the date of leaving. When in venice, we visited the hotel to see if they had our room, and they said they did. They said they never cancelled it, and so we would not get a refund. The took the money at time of booking. Such a bad experience. Booking. Com only got back to say the hotel is not responding to them and to contact the hotel. No help. We will keep trying with booking.com.
- mbirkett1 (2/5): Do not book. They are scammers - Do not book this hotel. It is a scam. Read all the other reviews. They cancelled the booking just a few days before the booking and then struggled to get the money back through booking.com
Thankfully paid with credit card but the stress and inconvenience was a nightmare.
- C4033PGroyw (2/5): KEEP AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! - The hotel cancelled our booking a couple of days before our arrival. We received a message trough Booking.com that the hotel cancelled our reservation without any reason given. After long phone calls with booking.com we finally spoke to someone and they could offer use two alternative accommodations which we rejected. Although we booked this hotel with free cancelation Booking.com didn't give us our refund back and the customer service keep ignoring use and say that the hotel is responsebly for the refund.
Very poor customer service from Booking.com. The free refund booking option means nothing. The hotel self is scam!
- ailimycamejo (2/5): terrible, they are not to be trusted - We booked the hotel through booking.com and the hotel canceled the day before citing construction problems. It's been a month and they haven't returned the money they charged us. They've also been dodging us every time booking contacts them, giving different excuses.
- antmel00 (2/5): Hotel cancelled reservation 4 days before trip! - The hotel cancelled our booking 4 days before our trip was due to commence and have still not refunded the amount despite them cancelling it!
The booking was made through Booking.com and I received a generic message through the platform to tell me the booking was cancelled for renovation works, but surely this would have been known in advance. They’ve ignored my messages through Booking.com and I’m still waiting on a refund over a month later. The charge was made directly by the hotel.
I would avoid staying here to avoid the same misfortune - it feels like a scam.
- 169varvaran (2/5): bad - Hello,
I booked a room with you in Venice for April 12 and 13. But the booking was cancelled just before we arrived. This was a big problem for us.
You wrote that I would get my money back in one or two weeks, but I did not get it. I also sent many emails, but you did not answer.
Please tell me: when will I get my money back?
I tried to call you, but you did not answer.
If you are ignoring me on purpose, I will make a complaint.
- 661beautyc (2/5): Scammers - SCAM booked two rooms they cancelled one as they didn’t receive payment straight away. I tried to cancel the other ( free cancellation with booking.com) That was back in January I still haven’t got a refund for the £340 I paid. They lied to booking.com a month ago and told them they would refund that day. Still nothing do not book this place.
- MashieS (2/5): Scammers! - Scammers! Booking confirmation number: 4830.870.670
Booked a room at Hotel Airone with free calcellation. Paid ZAR1958.03 on 12 January 2025. Had to cancel booking. Emailed the hotel for a refund several times. No response. Hotel has since been removed from Booking .com. Messaged Booking.com several times. No response. Eventually get response from Booking .com. I submit my bank's proof of payment. Booking .com has a problem to validate my document. Email subject from Booking .com "Contesting charges" provides a link that i must follow before 4 March. When i click on it today(20 February) the response is "We have not received your response in time." What???.Not getting any response from the booking site or the hotel after several messages to both. This has been a long awaited, saved-for European trip with my daughter for her 21st birthday. Very, very poor service.
- 137nazmulh (10/5): Great value for Money - Great Value amd Comfortable Stay.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient.
Breakfast was €10—simple but worth the price. Overall, a great budget-friendly option. Would stay again!
- tatianapP2530OW (2/5): Scammers!!! - This hotel is scammers who have no respect for people! I booked a room for two nights with free cancelation. The next day they immediately wrote me that there was no money on my card and if I did not enter another card they would cancel the reservation. I did and they immediately charged me the entire amount. Although they had no right to do so. But then I read in the reviews that there CLOPES!!!!! There were photos. I, of course, canceled the reservation according to all the rules of free cancelation. But!!!! NO MONEY BACK TO ME!!! For the second month I am trying to get justice, but they do not answer letters, do not pick up the phone. Booking.com support service also does not help, but drags time, making me run to banks and provide new new evidence. This is some kind of thrash!
- mariuszkE1946NV (2/5): Don’t ruin your holiday - The 1 of worse hotel by planning trip. 2 weeks before trip they cncelled my reservation even booking.com was suprised and trying resolve problem without results. If you don’t want ruin your joliday don’t book this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!! They offer good price and after cancelling and ruin your plans!!!!!!!!!!
- Passenger16424315151 (10/5): Loved our stay at Hotel Arione in Venice - Fantastic location, old worl charm and very clean. Lisa and Jelea the beautiful friendly Receptionists went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and gave great advice regarding best places to visit and regarding our safety with regards to pickpockets. So caring and genuine
- Willmer (4/5): - Bad experience. It never was hot water. They said they going to fix it. Never happened. TV never worked. Always said they going to fix the issues. Never happened.
- Eduardo (4/5): - The room conditions were meh at best. The door wasn’t able to be opened from the inside without the key. Meaning if you took the key with you and someone was still inside the room, they would be locked in even if the door itself wasn’t locked.
Check in was done at the hotel next door which wasn’t a problem. The staff next door was nice though. If I was able to open the door without a key from the inside I’d give it a 3/5.
Cheap room. Wasn’t able to use the TV, view was blocked by the platform ir was on. Only 1 useable outlet in the room. The other outlet was needed for the AC which couldn’t keep the room as cool as I would have liked. Location was great near the grand canal, super close to the train station. Shared bathroom wasn’t a problem for us. And the restroom was clean.
Pretty much what was expected. But hate that we couldn’t open the door from the inside without the key. Door would open from the outside no problem without the key, if unlocked.
- Amanda (2/5): - It was hot and there was no AC. We had to open the window and had mosquitos eat us alive all night long. The sink only had hot water. The WiFi did not work at all. The place smelled and was very grungy and dirty.
- Antranig (2/5): - Will never go Airone Hotel again.
The cleanliness was very bad, floor, desks, sheets and blankets. The WiFi is not working most of the time.
There's no thermometer for the heather, night time is too hot, my son couldn't sleep on his bed next to the radiator.
There's no telephone to contact the reception.
There's no kettle and glasses to drink a coffee, even the coffee machine in the lobby wasn't working.
- Lixi (6/5): - Pro: Location. Very close to bus station and ferry terminal. Clean.
Cons: Dated; no air conditioning, while opening the window mosquitoes come in.
- Armine (10/5): - I really liked this hotel and especially the location !!!I will be back!!!
- Christian (8/5): - Close to central station
- Vyshnavie (6/5): - Positive :
Excellent Location in Venice. few mins walk from the railway station as well as the main bus stop. Great base to explore Venice and its just in front of the grand canal.
Check-in was as stated, need to check in at different hotel and they give the keys to this one
Very cheap for a room in Venice
Room :
The room decor is really really dated, it felt like we have gone back in time.
We had asked for the double room, but it was a room with two single beds attached to make a double bed, but it was kept creating a gap in the middle.
The bathroom was really small and it was very tight to move around. You wont be able to use the toilet if another one is using the shower.
As the other reviews have stated, the hotel has been neglected and it shows the age, which makes a holiday a little depressing, but if dont mind this and looking for value for money, this is a rare find.
- dr patrick a (10/5): Perfect location and good value - I was lucky and got a room overlooking the Grand Canal. I suspect there are about 20% of rooms that do this.
This made up for the fact that the facilities are old and tired. They were perfectly clean and comfortable enough and the location is spot on. I parked in free parking in Mestre and took the tram into Venice.
- Paul (10/5): - Amzing location
- ELLIOT (8/5): Necesita camas mas comodas - El servicio excelente, cerca del tren pero el cuarto muy old fashioned camas duras incomodas, pero para una noche esta bien!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value in Venice - Having been to Vence previously, we know it is difficult the find anywhere good on a budget. This place fits the bill, comfy, excellent location, large room, easy checkin. The room we stayed at was in a seperate building a couple of doors up from the hotel - not uncommon in Venice. We had some mosquito issues at night, bring repellent. Recommend and very good value we would stay again.
- vincent (6/5): Venice - Hard to locate, and it was a walk up
- Pat (8/5): - We did have a private bathroom which was much appreciated. Our room faced the canal, so perfect view.
Great overnight stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Booked last minute and got a small room. The location is perfect as it is just 5 minutes from Central Venice Station. Also, the view out of the window was amazing.
The room and bed was small and not enough for 2 people. Good interior though.
- Pat (10/5): - The location of the Airone Hotel is fantastic.....so close to all types of travel amenities including those required for cruise port and airports.
This is an older building but I found it to be clean, well-kept and having reasonable pricing.
The desk staff were superb, especially the gentleman who handled our registration!! He was extremely pleasant, accommodating and knowledgeable to any questions we had regarding our stay and info on methods of travel in the area.
Personally, I would definitely stay at the Airone Hotel again when going on a cruise out of Venice.
- Dan (8/5): - Good deal, great location. Breakfast cheap but not worth more
- angelia (4/5): Dirty rooms but O.K. for overnight’s stay - The location was ideal & convenient to move around in Venice for a night stay with a substantial breakfast at 5 Euro. My family of 5 were given room no.22 which had an aircon that wasn’t working well but face the pretty canal view. The other disgusting bathroom was room no.2 overlooking the other hotel windows. The 2 rooms were dirty, cramp & only a bed sheet was given as a blanket!! Stay here if you are on budget or overnight stay.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This doesn't like as a hotel, but a residence.
- Luisa Salas (6/5): Great location to stay in Venice - We only stayed for a night and this hotel is nothing to right home about. A/C And hot water worked. Location is perfect!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Liked the location
No breakfast and no information about ir on the reservation
- Dean (6/5): - Shared bathroom.
- Mary (6/5): - The hotel was very easy to find and you checked in exactly as indicated. Close to the buses and train station great for connections.
No elevator so carrying heavy luggage could be a struggle for some.
A extra tax was charged. The internet didn't work well in the room but did in the lobby.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Conviently located
Clean fluffy towels
Room facilities include bath/shower, fridge, flat screen TV.
Helpful friendly staff.
Optional breakfast
Steep stairs (no lift)
- Cristian (10/5): Increíble!!! - Everyone in the staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful they were really the highlight or our Italian vacation! I would definitely come back here!
- Erik (6/5): - The location is ideal and the staff are wonderful, the bed was not so good and the internet does not excist I the rooms. There are only 2 shared bathrooms if you do not have one in your room. I would stay again for the location and staff, but not if I needed to work.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff was awesome. The canal view room did not have working ac or tv and was tiny. The room without a canal view was larger and everything worked. However it was conveniently close to the bus transportation, etc. and was quiet/safe.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Preoare youself to carry luggage thru many stairs - Te reason I chose this hotel was the close location from Venice train station but realized that it was true to be close to the train station just 5 minute walk but across the water where no taxi service available that we had carry our 3 luggage through not only all of many stairs in Venice but the stairs in the building that has no elevator. Compare the price it was okay to stay.
- BeisbaneRob (10/5): - Great location and value for money. Handy to some nice restaurants and train station. No need to carry heavy luggage over many bridges.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel is best location
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The location of the hotel and the customer service is good but my overall rating is Fair because you actually check in at the nearby hotel and the carpet going up the stairs is not clean.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Venecia is fine bad no this hotel for this big name.no book,, this and for free
- Valgal (8/5): - This place was nice. The room may look a little outdated, but for just a place to stay it worked for my group of 4 people. Had a mini fridge & private bathroom. Windows that opened up to the canals. Air condition. Had wifi, but it only worked for me half the time. Good location, we took a train to & from venice which was only a 5 minute walk to it which was super convenient. Customer service was great. Overrall we had a pleasent stay. Thanks for having us!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Great location, helpfull staff, reasonable price, aircon problem, generally was worth the money.
- Jewell (8/5): Good location - We had a nice stay and it is certainly an easy location. Checking in was easy and the staff was nice. It was hot in the room and it took the entire stay for it to cool down. The shared bathrooms were clean and the bed was clean. The floors were dirty. It certainly isn't comfort, but it's enough if you aren't choosy. Wi-Fi was not very good.
- Caley (8/5): - Was a great location from the trenitalia station with restaurants and such around it. Unfortunately we got put in a room with broken window and mosquitos bit us all night. The wifi isn’t great either but they do let you leave you luggage after you check out so you can do some more exploring before heading on to your next destination.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location - Hotel is definitely older, but it was pretty clean. Fresh towels in the morning and they will come in and back your bed, regardless of whether you have the "do not disturb" sign on. Location is fantastic, literally across the canal from the main train station. A con is that the main sights are a bit of a walk away, or you will have to take another mode of transportation to arrive to things such as the Palace. Another con was our room only seemed to have one plug. We had to unplug the tv to just to get a second one. AC was also not working, but not a problem as we had windows open. Plenty of food options around, very safe, peaceful. Another con was that you can hear people coming and going all day and night, so bring ear plugs! Walls are thin. I am satisfied with what I paid.
- Kristina (10/5): Great stay w/ shared bath - Room was great shared bathroom was never busy and always clean
- Verified traveler (4/5): Dont stay in room 6 - Andrea on front desk was great, his female colleague was very unhelpful. Room 6 was less than 6ft wide, uncomfortable and noisy, this room should not be sold at the same rate as other rooms. location great, breakfast not so
- kirsten (4/5): Cheap main canal room short walk to train/bus - Picture showed main canal out window. Our room was on the other side. Dorm style room with shared bathroom. Stairs (someone carried our suitcases up for us). The staff was great friendly multi lingual. Close to bus train and main canal made it perfect for our brief stay.
- Tariq (8/5): Ya - Great location and wonderful price if you don't mind the size of the room. Will stay there next time for sure.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad - Although they claimed to be a “hotel” its more like a hostel with shared shower and toilets. The room was dirty too, especially the bed that was a lil dusty. Overall it was a bad experience for me.
- Kevin (8/5): You get what you pay for... - My wife and I took a last minute trip to Venice and were doing it on a budget, so this hotel seemed a no brainer for the price we got. The hotel is dated, though it seemed it was being worked on when we went. Check-in and desk service was moved to the nearby Hotel Canal and there wasn't breakfast available in our hotel as advertised. The rooms are nice enough, the decor is dated but serviceable. Down to the finer details and things aren't quite right, the hot water ran out in the morning, so unless you're an early riser, plan to shower at night. The TV remote wasn't working properly and the window in the bathroom was a) cracked and b) impossible to keep closed when it was cold. I can't speak for the heat / air conditioning as the room was a decent enough temperature once we got the bathroom window closed. Overall it's no disaster since the hotel was so cheap for our stay, but definitely something to consider for next time. Overall we enjoyed our stay thanks to the sights and sounds of Venice.
- Val (2/5): Dissapointed - Terrible hotel, iam not gonna book again in this hotel
- Don (4/5): - Decent room but disappointing breakfast and infested with mosquitos. We both left covered in bites.
- Mary (2/5): Not what I expected - Booked a twin room and received a double with 1 bed. When I asked about the twin beds they said we'd have to seperate the beds ourselves and have us one additional sheet to turn one bed into two. The room was tiny compared to the photos online and the toilet was in the shower. On top of everything the man at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. Ended up getting a room at a different hotel and giving the keys back the same day.
- Verified traveler (6/5): so and so - Very mixed emotions! The place was just superb for arrival and leaving Venice and also for starting the discovery of the city. It was quiet place, open 24/7, but in same time very worn out. People wer nice and helpful, but for example breakfast was in very "rural" atmosphere...but the worst subject was mosquitos! (probably not the hotels fault except open windows, but 2 nights were spent mostly by claping hands and scratching...). For budget travelling , suppose?
- Nathalie (2/5): Abandoned hotel - don't stay here - We picked this hotel for the location, which was unbeatable. However, we expected the bare minimum of quality. The room is essentially in an abandoned hotel being managed by another hotel nearby (the staff there are really nice and helpful). In your room, you can hear everyone coming and going at all hours of the night despite all the guests making a conscious effort to be quiet. The floor was so dirty that we couldn't walk on it without our shoes on. The bedding was questionable and we couldn't wait to get out of there.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A fair stay, it is clean, value of money
Location is good as it close to Venice st lucia station and bus station
- Esthefany (10/5): - you get your money's worth.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Blech - No wifi no breakfast although listed on my hotel search! The rude check in person was not helpful at all.... Asked for 15 extra minutes at check out and even that was denied! Area is great, but lots of stairs for luggage!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice hotel on the Grande Canal so very central location but not convenient having a shared bathroom.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good price for what it is - We were some broke college students looking for a cheap place, and Airone delivered. We didn't have a toilet/shower in our room, but didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes to get in to the communal toilet room and shower room. The 5€ breakfast (not included) was DEFINITELY worth the price; it had yogurt, breads, cheese and meats. It was close to the train station. Service was friendly and helpful. Don't go there expecting to stay in the room for a long time, but it's definitely a place that you can come back to after a long day of touristing and get a good nights sleep!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The wifi was not free as said. Wifi was charged and the reception was not care much with guest.
- tomas (6/5): shower in the toilet - I think the price is way to high. To get to the bathroom you have to step up like two steps in one. Not good for large people or disable, then is like you are showering in the toilet because the shower is 2 inches away from toilet...nasty.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Rude, no service, don't book - Soooo bad. I wasn't able to make it to sunday as booked, and requested for a change till next day check in, even with an extra fee it wasn't possible. The service personnel was soon rude and you can definitely be sure that there is no service at all. Our flights were delayed is our fault???!!!! So dumb. Never make a reservation or booking for this hotel
- Verified traveler (6/5): Charming Stay in Venice - We stayed here for one night. Location is fantastic. It's right by the Grand Canal and very close to Venice St Lucia train station. Visitors need to be aware that luggage will need to be hauled across the bridge from St Lucia train station (porters are available for around 10 Eur). Also the hotel does not have lifts and luggage has to be hauled up the stairs. Hotel is also close to other attractions like St Mark's Basilica. Great pizzerias, cafes, gelaterias and restaurants nearby. Wonderful atmosphere at night. Room was quite spacious. Bathrooms though shared were well maintained and clean. Breakfast is available at an extra cost. Our only grouse is that Wifi was not free.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not a good place to saty - This hotel is not worth for its value. Very bad experience. We have asked for two single bed but were provided a double bed and a temporary bed arrangement in a small room.
- Theodore (4/5): Ok hotel - One and half bath for four rooms. Ahhhhh
- M. Up (8/5): Couple getaway - For what we paid, hotel was good. Hardly spent time in there as we were out exploring. The room was cleaned by staff everyday. However, it wasn't ensuite so had to walk to the bathroom to shower but it was clean. Only uncomfortable thing was that the double bed was two single beds put together so kept moving apart and the walls were really thin so could hear every movement outside of our room. Great location alongside the canal which made it easy to get to everywhere we wanted to. Had to check in at a different hotel but staff were nice and friendly and had a place for us to store our luggage after check in on the last day while we went out to explore.
- Grace (2/5): Great location. Poor hotel. - Our room was lop sided... made sleeping a bit of a task when you are trying not to roll out of the bed. Location great (as it was right next to the train station and only a 5/10 minute walk before you are in the heart of the island), but that is the only thing about this hotel (.....) that you could say is worth staying here for. If you are a hostel hopper you wont have an issue with this hotel however... although paying for wifi was annoying. I recommend only getting the 1 hour option as you can turn it on and off and 10 hours is quite unnecessary unless you need the wifi on constantly.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not worth it!! - Don't go here. Uncomfortable bed. No drinking water provided. No tea or coffee kettles in the room. Location is the only good side but not worth it. Pay a little more and get something that's worth it.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Good location, average room, terrible staff. - The room was OK but when I went out the next morning I asked the guy on reception if I could leave my bags, he just left them in the middle of reception, when I returned there was no one there, I waited for 5 minutes & no one turned up so I had to just help myself to my bags...which anyone else could have done!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Decently priced hotel near train station - Was worried initially but really the hotel is decent for the price. Room is not big but good enough for a couple w little luggage. Clean room. Shared bathroom is big n clean. So is spare shared toilet. Location fantastic- just opposite St Lucia train station, near eateries n can walk to St Mark's.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Just it was terrible in cleanliness. One of the night attendant was very rude.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Italian Holiday - The lighting was bad. It was difficult to read. Some of the shutter slats were broken.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Old Charm - We were rather disappointed, description of the hotel did not match.
- Edgar (4/5): - It's what to be expected in a budget hotel in exchange for convenience as to accessibility in Venice.
- Yongdan (2/5): - not very good
- Roberto (6/5): Location, nothing else. - Conveniently located. Room old and with zero maintenance.
- Robert S. (8/5): couple trip - for Italy the hopel was rather nice. The staff was really helpfull. I had a high temperature and the front desk attendant served me hot tea during the late night.
The rooms were rather clean.
Overall I we enjoyed our stay.
The only minus was the location (though it was central, it was rather crowded and not very clean).
- bob (8/5): right on the canal - yes very near to bus and train station. helpful staff who could speak English. Would go there again. Good value for money.
- erick (8/5): In the heart of Venice. Loved it - Amazing central location, similar room as many in Europe. No complaints
- Verified traveler (2/5): Would not stay here again - The only good thing about this place was the location. It was across from the train station!which was convenient. However, room was terrible. The bed was basically a mattress on the floor, and the room was incredibly tiny. There is NO shower and toilet in the room. There is a community shower and restroom down the hall. It was extremely uncomfortable, and there was no hot water. Also, there was no wifi in the hotel as described. We were so anxious to leave, we didn't stay for the breakfast.
- Luis (6/5): OK Hotel in an awesome area of venice - Wedding anniversary getaway
- James (2/5): Not so good - Beds uncomfortable. Area not so good. Other side of carnal seemed safer, which we stayed on return from cruise.
- Izzy (6/5): Great location - On grand Canal. Good access for Port if cruising. Very basic hotel. No staff seen apart from Breakfast Lady. Had to get keys from hotel 3 doors away! Breakfast simple and adequate for 3 euros. Nothing special at all but ok for a base.
- Srkn (6/5): Not special - Due to the room absence in this hotel, they gave us room from another hotel but with 3-star. It was some walking distance, and private bathroom. Everything was perfect except extra fee for wi-fi internet. It must be free according to me. View from window was excellent. Furniture was well designed and stylish. Breakfast was enough with comparison of others. Overall it was a good experience.
- Ryan (8/5): Great Location - In the heart of Venice. Great great location especially of your wanting to take a cruise. People mover only about 5 mins away.
- Renee (2/5): the description of the room is inaccurate - The pictures of the room does not reflect the reality, is not a hotel is a hostal, and they do charge you for internet. The people of the hotel is a little bit rude. The place is not so clean and the building is old. But it.is true that the location is amazing specially if you arrive by train
- Verified traveler (2/5): Nightmare in Venice - Tried to look for a good deal since I was only staying 1 night in Venice. This hotel wasn't cheap (over $100) and what we got was a 'hallway'-like room with pull out bed. The carped was dirty, one window overlooking construction site was super dirty, tapestry was yellow and I suspect originally it was a different color.
I could not recommend this hotel to anyone.
- anna (6/5): Good location close to railway station. - Basic standard, double and two single beds, adequate
- Verified traveler (6/5): Perfect location! - My husband and I took a cruise leaving from venice and needed somewhere to stay for one night that was comfortable yet reasonable and we found it! Lots of great places to eat nearby and shops as well as gondola rides! Close to port as well as public buses! Would definately recommend for a quick stay in Venice!
- Werner Marais (8/5): Not a Hotel as such, but a great stay in Venice - I think this hotel is underrated on hotels.com. Sure, it is not a hotel offering room service and the like, but it offers rather large, comfortable and clean rooms with all the necessities. At the price, well worth the stay. I'll stay here again easily.
