• Kimberly (6/5): - The room was clean, it gives motel vibes to be honest. Good for a quick one night but I wouldn’t stay much longer. No elevator so you have to carry all ur luggage up the stairs. It was quick and easy to check in so I give them that.

• Hans (8/5): - This hotel was fine for a single night in Napoli. It's close to the train station, close to the nice old city center. It felt fairly safe as it is located at the big street. The room was small, but it worked fine for the purpose of having a basic stay and leaving early to catch the train next morning.
• bethcG8699PB (2/5): Do not stay here. The pictures and reviews are not accurate. - Do not stay at this hotel. It’s in a very bad area of Naples. And the pictures and reviews on Trip Advisor or Booking.com are not accurate. The facility is not in a safe area, it is not clean and they had lost my reservation when I arrived. We went to the hotel room and checked out immediately. It was not a good experience. I do not recommend at all.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Would never recommend - The hotel is near the central station if that means anything but the ar ea is maybe the worst in Napoli. Extremely dirty smelling pee and rubbish and noisy. The first night I could not believe the amount of noise plus the extra noise due to the neighboring stores ventilation behind the rooms window. Unable to sleep after hours, talked with the reception but could not change the room that night. Was awake the whole night. Next morning got a new room, I bought some ear plugs just in case. But no wonder all the following nights the noise from the reception including them talking, the bells to enter the hotel, the phone ringings at the reception didnt let me sleep. The rooms were not totally clean either with a lot of long hair curled in the corners of the room. The AC was working great which was positive. 1/3 of the receptionists could speak English and was helpful. I would never recommend this hotel mostly due to it's location and noise level.

• Santeri (8/5): - I have to say that I had a pleasant stay, because I’m not looking a brilliant luxury hotels, I had just the place to sleep; where to keep my personal stuff and where to wash myself. The neighbourhood where the hotel is located is bit creepy with dark valleys. Personally I felt safe with my company (we’re both over 30 years old, bit bigger guys) but I think someone, who hasn’t seen the big cities with their strange sides, might scare a bit. But, the people who are keeping the place! BELLISSIMO! They made you felt very welcomed, showed how the things work and helped you a lot, even though we didn’t barely have a common language. Especially the grand old lady IS SUPER, she will give you a best part of Italian people.
• eliz-jeff (6/5): Basic hotel - Wifi is faulty. - The photo presented of the common room of this hotel is misleading. It is now a shell of its previous self. If people in earlier reviews mention breakfast - it is a feature of the past. Rooms are very basic and the Wifi is spotty - it is not usable. For that reason, I cannot give it a high rating. We mentioned it to the reception but basically they shrugged their shoulders. Most of the employees are friendly which is a plus. The hotel is located near the train station which is convenient.

Se escuchan los aviones y el ruido de la calle, pero todo Nápoles es muy ruidoso. También había inquilinos a los que escuchábamos como si los tuviéramos metidos en nuestra habitación. El barrio no tiene muy buena pinta, pero en general tampoco mucho peor que otros que hemos visto durante nuestra visita. Cerca hay bastantes sitios para comer y la estación central para el metro y bus.

• Ronny (8/5): Perfect location for a short trip. - I had a nice stay here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, close to the central train station, shops and restaurants. PS: Can get a bit noisy from other rooms as if the walls are like paper thin. I didn't mind as I'm used to noise but I know some will find it troublesome.

Si bien es basico y limpio, las intalaciones no dejan descanzar, las puertas y el piso hacen mucho ruido, el colchon tenia los resortes marcados, por lo cual, para la finalidad de pasar la noche para irnos al aeropuerto no fue agradable.

• norscio (8/5): Don't Let the Outside Fool You, They Run a Nice Place... - I stayed here for three nights. The hotel is convenient to Napoli Centrale/Garibaldi, which offers connections to Sorrento, Pompeii, Rome and the airport among other places. The area is very dirty and you'll find some questionable people hanging around the public square at night. However, much of Naples can be this way and it was a bit of a culture shock to me. There are many cafes and stores nearby. I received a very modest rate on an OLTA. Staff was all very friendly. I had a room at the end of the upstairs hall. It had a queen bed, armoire, flat TV with remote, a small table, two night stands, adequate overhead and reading lights. There was an air conditioner and radiator heat that worked fine. Wifi was perfect. Bathroom was simple but clean with only a shower. It had tall ceilings and the windows had shutters that could be pulled to completely block the light or adjust it. I couldn't get the TV to work and bath towels were missing but I'm sure had I reported these issues, they would have been immediately resolved. Warm, fresh chocolate croissants, tea/coffee, juices and pastries were served by friendly staff, who also cleaned the rooms each morning. Staff seemed to speak limited English but I had no probably communicating with them and after all, it's Italy not Canada. I went with four circles, instead of five because the area is kind of unpleasant and will concern some people. Further, there were very minor issues with the room. However, the area seemed much safer than it looked and all-in-all, my experience was very positive. Would happily stay here again and wouldn't even bother looking elsewhere.

Great restaurants in the area and great shopping also. I would recommend hotel Casanova any time you’re in Napoli. 🇮🇹 I will come back in March or April.
• 92162 (10/5): Great place to stay in Napoli. - The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Gianni at the reception desk is great. He helps me whenever I have questions. Lucia and Natale who serve breakfast are great too. Even the older man Pino is very nice. I always stay at Hotel Casanova when I’m in Napoli if they have a room available.
• MelGeelong (8/5): Good Value for Money - Considering what we received for our money this hotel represented pretty good value for money. Noisey during the day but overnight quite quiet. We stayed for 3 nights. Wifi is however quite weak. As for the area, no matter where you stay within walking distance from centrale station or what price you pay you will find getting to your hotel is the same, rubbish everywhere and homeless and street vendors lining the streets. So putting this aside, we were happy with the hotel

• Mogs1975 (6/5): Cheap and cheerful! - We needed an overnight pit stop in Naples on route to Sorrento and this ticked all the boxes. We paid £38 room only with en-suite, although a tax of €5 was added on departure. The room was clean and had air conditioning. Short journey from Airport by taxi cost €18, then a 10 minute walk to Piazza Garibaldi to catch train to Sorrento. Ideal if this is what you’re looking for.

Pros:1- Staffs are friendly.2- Breakfast coffee is good. 3-The location is convenient with few minutes walk from the train staton. 4. there is private bathroom in our room and bathroom in common area. Cons: 1-here is no elevator in the hotel, so you have to carry your baggages along the staircase. 2-There were flies/insects in the bathroom. 3-My mainly concern is 'safety', I would recommend to checkin/out on daytime if you could also, please walking along the main road after dark. there are many homeless people around that area.
• emmabirch89 (8/5): Good value for money - Easy check in and we had all we needed in our room, shower was great, breakfast team were wonderful and welcoming, we were also near to all local attractions, amenities and train station. Just what we needed for our short stay in naples. The only reason i did not give 5 is because the bed was a little harder than i personally like but had previously been on an even worse bed so it was a nice realignment for my spine in a way. Would certainly recommend for budget travellers.

Gianni and Guiseppe who work at the hotel registration desk are very helpful and answer any questions that I may have. Lucia, Natalia, and Paola are also wonderful room service and breakfast staff at Hotel Casanova. The staff at this hotel always make me feel happy and at home. The hotel is a short walk to the train station and bus station. The hotel is close to great shopping and some of the best restaurants in this great city. You can also walk to some of the facinating historic sites in walking distance of the hotel. I can wait to come back and visit this wonderful hotel when I come back to Napoli. • Anthony (10/5): - I love staying at Hotel Casanova. The staff is excellent. Especially, Giuseppe and Gianni who work at the front registration desk. They are very helpful and answer any questions I have. The hotel room service and breakfast staff are just as wonderful. Natalia, Lucia and Paola are very helpful. They make me very happy and comfortable whenever I stay at Hotel Casanova. The hotel is a very short walk to the Metro and the Bus stations. Very close to great shopping and excellent restaurants near the hotel. I will always stay at Hotel Casanova whenever I go to Napoli. They always make me feel comfortable and at home. • Anthony (10/5): - This is an excellent hotel and great place to stay whenever I come here to Napoli, Italy. Its a short walk to the train and bus station. Many historic sites are also in walking distance of the hotel. There is good shopping and great restaurants located in walking distance of the hotel. But best of all was the staff at the hotel. Natalia, Lucia, Paola, Pino and Gianni are very helpful. They always make me happy and comfortable when I stay there. I can't wait to come back to Napoli and can see this wonderful hotel staff again. • Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel was wonderful. It was in a great location. Great shopping, great food and historic sites. Only a 5 minute walk to the Centrale Trene Statzione. The staff was wonderful. Guiseppe and Gianni where wonderful. Natalia and Lucia who took care of my room were very friendly and helpful. Anytime I visit Napoli, I will be returning to Hotel Casanova. I would never stay anywhere else.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Out of all the ones in the area this seems to be a good choice. Nice manager, relatively quiet, working AC, (though batteries almost dead), light breakfast. The only bad thing....bed bugs in room 9 (woke with bites in middle of night and had to crush a few of them on sheet).
• Zoe (4/5): Ok hotel, but bad area..... - The hotel itself is ok, but the location isn't great. We were meant to stay 4 nights but ended up leaving after 1, as we just didn't feel safe coming and going.
