• Ronaldo (10/5): Excelente, recomendo. - O local é tranquilo e longe das badalações de Veneza, hotel confortável, com atendimento muito cortez e todos os funcionários foram muito simpáticos, o hotel possui um restaurante anexo, senti um pouquinho de falta somente de uma pequena geladeira no quarto, o ponto forte do foi banheiro novo e em excelentes condições de higiene e uso. Todo o comércio de vidros de Murano muito próximos com diversas opções de preços, a localização é excelente, pois fica a menos de 200 metros da estação Faro.

Finally got someone to give us the code after buzzing the door over and over. Location is good, but thats about it. Bathroom was not in our room and would not lock. Kind of creepy.

Decent sized room but very dated. wardrobe was unuseable due to mouse droppings inside that had gone moldy. no staff in hotel in the evenings and the attached bar and restraunt close at 5. Breakfast very basic ham cheese and 2 bread rolls and 1 croissant per person. first morning croissant had a hair baked into it and member of staff who had served us accused my wife of planting the hair that was baked into the pastry. overall a basic hotel with sub par service in an excellent location

• Alexander (6/5): - Der check in war eine reine Katastrophe. Am Tag der Ankunft hatte es stark geregnet und die Tür außen war verschlossen. Wir hatten geklingelt, mehrfach Nachrichten geschrieben und mehrfach versucht telefonisch Kontakt aufzunehmen. Erst nach etwa einer Stunde, als andere Gäste kamen und wir mit reingegangen waren, war der Gastgeber aufgetaucht und war verwundert, wer wir sind und wieso wir reingekommen sind. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt! Die anderen Mitarbeiter, die wir zu beim Frühstück getroffen haben, waren sehr herzlich und das komplette Gegenteil.
• Peter (6/5): - The hotel itself was OK. Staff were friendly, the room was clean and breakfast was good. There are no communal areas in the hotel and only one chair in the bedroom which wasn’t really suitable for relaxing on. The bedrooms are OK but look better in the photos than in reality. I would stay in the hotel again if it had more seats in the bedroom and was in a different location. The hotel is on the island of Murano and everything closes at 5:00. there was only one, pricy restaurant to eat in. Everything else was closed and it’s like a ghost town. Not even a bar for a drink. I would recommend staying on the main Venice island nearer to the popular areas for a better evening experience.

There was no ice available, whole area closed at 5pm so no where to eat after that!!! It was rated 5plus I wouldn't even give it a 2!!!!

The room was quite large, with a nice workspace and large wardrobe. Quiet and peaceful. The bed was a bit uncomfortable for my back, however. Good wifi.

Comodo punto di appoggio pur non essendo in pieno centro perché ben servito dai mezzi, sia direttamente dalla stazione sia dalla città. Ottimo per chi voglia vedere le isole esterne Burano e Torcello. Sistemazione e comfort adeguati alla categoria, bagno piccolo ma completo di tutto, corredato da un bidet basculante che fornisce il suo servizio. L’hotel è compreso di ristorante, ma ha un proprio Ingresso indipendente e le chiavi della stanza sono corredate anche di quella della porta esterna, cosa che regala libertà assoluta di orari. L’acqua calda della doccia si fa attendere un poco prima di diventare confortevole.

Det ligger förstås en bit bort, på Murano, men det är i sig ett trevligt ställe att vara på med några trevliga restauranger, Hotellet är lätt att hitta till och nära båtarna in till stan. Kan starkt rekommenderas.
• Marina (10/5): - Очень приятный отель, цена/качество соответствует. Местоположение хорошее, порт в 100м от отеля. Мурано в отличие от самой Венеции более просторный и спокойный. Были там 2 ночи. Удобный отель для ночевки, завтрак хороший, но действительно немного тесновато на завтраке. Номер комфортный, ванная комната большая. Единственный минус в номерах очень хорошая слышимость, были в номере на втором этаже, оттуда окна выходят во двор. Слышно когда кто-то разговаривает или кашляет. Нам, правда, повезло с соседями и к 23 становилось тихо. Хозяин и персонал вежливый, даже объяснил нам как ехать до аеропорта и посмотрел расписание (около 30мин) до терминала.
• 860lynnm (10/5): Excellent location and good breakfast - Extremely easy to get to from the airport, 1st stop on the Alilaguna and just 5 minutes easy walk (one bridge). It is also just steps from the Faro waterbus stop which takes you to the other islands. It was very nice to stay on the quiet island of Murano and travel to the other islands. Nice room, very good breakfast which included sliced ham and eggs for protein. Very friendly staff.

Murano is a lovely place and overall Venice great experience. I would recommend this hotel and visit other islands Burano & Torcello.

La struttura è pulita, ma uno scarafaggio non si può giustificare in nessun modo. Ci sarà umidità, ma esistono i prodotti adatti affinché ciò non avvenga.

• Aragorn65 (6/5): Basic hotel! - This hotel is in a very convenient location, not very far from Collonna pier and just meters away from Faro pier (boats to Burano). You will find a bed, small desk, wardrobe and a big bathroom. There is a kettle with tea and coffee. There is a restaurant downstairs but for breakfast only. I don’t think there is anyone from members of staff during afternoon or evening hours. I wanted to ask for a spoon and I went downstairs to the restaurant but the restaurant was locked (around 3 pm). I did stay there for 2 nights only. It is OK to stay there for one/ two nights.
• Sally (6/5): Not The Best Choice - This hotel is more like a rooming house. There is no office, doors are locked at 5pm, the only way to communicate is through email which is not returned in a timely manner. Breakfast was so so, nothing special at all. The area is a normal day trip from Venice so very few options for dinner or evening activities. I would stay in Venice proper is given the opportunity again.

• Simon (8/5): - It seemed more a 9 bedroom B+B than a full hotel, but it was just fine for the night I wished to stay on Murano. I was given a spacious room with a generous shower room. Of the three hotels I stayed in on this trip to Italy, it was the only one to have a kettle in the room. The front door is a beautiful example of glasswork. I would happily mention this hotel to any friend wishing to stay on Murano.
• Joachim (8/5): Zweckmäßige Unterkunft in ruhiger Umgebung - Es gibt im Soffiador sehr unterschiedliche Zimmer. Wir waren schon oft dort und haben diesmal leider das Zimmer Nr. 7 zugeteilt bekommen, in dem man die Nachbarn darüber laut hört und Ausblick auf den Hof hat. (Zimmer 1 ist dagegen traumhaft.) Die Reinigung ist sehr gut, allerdings werden Tees und Kaffees beim Wasserkocher nicht nachgefüllt. Durch die zentrale Lage auf Murano lieben wir dieses kleine Hotel und es hat einen gewissen Charme, dass sich seit 1993 nicht viel verändert hat.

Location is good and easy walk from vaporetto stop Faro. Recommended.

Not much happening at night on this island but again a easy water taxi to main island and no issues getting back as the public water taxi runs 25/7. Enjoyed the few days I stayed

• Javier (6/5): Alternativa económica a la propia Venecia. - El alojamiento esta cerca de la parada de vaporettos del faro de Murano, es facil dar con el sitio. exteriormente tiene buena pinta. Por dentro las habitación no esta mal, pero pintan bastante mejor en las fotos que en la realidad. No queda bien el tener que pasar por patios traseros colindantes a la cocina del restaurante para llegar a la habitaciones, se nota que donde estaba la nuestra era alguna casa que añadieron por atrás a lo que es el restaurante. El desayuno, simple pero bien. Sorprende ver que la isla de Murano esta desértica por la tarde-noche, pese a ser verano, las tiendas cierran a las 5 o 6 y casi todos los restaurantes y bares también cierran, solo algunos adolescentes por la calle, por lo que salvo por lo de ver lo del vidrio y comprar algo de ello (aunque esta al mismo precio que en la propia Venecia o Trieste), el alojamiento aquí esta condicionado al uso del vaporetto.

• MarkRhondaBlessing (8/5): Nice stay overall. - Not much to add to the other reviews except to say that after a couple days (we stayed five) the breakfast got old. It’s just the same cold cuts, cheese, boiled eggs, and yoghurt, with rolls,butter, and jams every morning. Other places we’ve stayed in Europe will often have a couple different items each day than the day before. Other than than, we liked this place and were quite satisfied.
• jamesv2811 (10/5): Enjoyed stay - We had a really enjoyable stay here. We preferred staying in Murano because whilst Venice is amazing it's incredibly crowded and it was nice to be able to escape it and come back here. The room and bed were very comfortable and was a decent breakfast which was a bonus. Only downside I would say is that restaurant choice is limited in Murano after 6 so be mindful of that.
• ricardorafaelb (8/5): Nice Hotel with Excellent Breakfast - The hotel was nice although the rooms were a bit small. The breakfast was delicious. Also, the restaurant next door had great food. It may have been a little haunted and I dont believe in ghosts but there were some eerie sounds at night....hmmm.
• Jane (6/5): Lovely staff, great breakfast but room soulless. - Room 6 very disappointing. Twin beds squashed together with no space to spare. No resemblemce to the photo on website. Otherwise, clean room with adequate shower and facilities. Great breakfast but whole place needs an update. Murano in September was dead. Much better to find a hotel in Venice but difficult to find en suite.
• ChefCliveM (8/5): Ecqllent lunch - Murano is the glass capital of Italy. The island is situated off the coast of Venice and just a short vaporetto ride from San Marco. There are a miriad of restaurants and bars and we found that by the canals they were not so friendly and accommodating. Walk down the jitty and there is the lovely Al Soffiardor. The staff are welcoming and friendly and we had a very reasonable lunch with drinks. A great find.
• Emilio (10/5): Nice hotel coveniently very very close to Venice. - I liked everything, proximity to Venice, the silence at night, the great staff and small number of guest due to only a few rooms. Always availabe to help and the cofortable and clean rooms.

• bob123thewhiz (8/5): Great location in murano - Took water taxi from marco polo which is the alilaguna. It stopped at colonnade. Walk to hotel from there was 10 mins over flat surface and 1 staired bridge. The closer water taxi stop (faro) is used by the ctv line and we left murano from there which was only a 3 min walk. I had notified the hotel that i would be arriving after 5 pm and so a couple of days prior to arrival they sent me a code to enter the hotel were a key sat waiting for me on the desk. There is no staff after 5 pm so one must be independent and flexible. It was not a problem for us, but may be a consideration for someone else. For instance, where do you get more pillows, what if the TV or ac don't work? Speaking of ac...it said it was set to 18c, but the room didn't get cooler than 25c. I know what 18c feels like, and it was no 18c. Other than the air conditioning, which I said was not cool enough for us, we were more than happy with our room. It was spacious and looked out onto the street. The bed was very firm. We had a do not disturb sign on our door in the morning, and for some strange reason, the cleaning staff did not think that applied to them. They knocked on the door. Since we were in the room, they left only to knock again and enter when we were away. I personally feel that do not disturb means do not disturb. I was a bit annoyed. In the morning there is a little buffet with cold cuts, toast, juice, boiled eggs. It wasnt much, but I was satisfied. The owners open the adjoining restaurant for lunch. We also checked in that morning since there was no one around the previous night. The shops along the streets open between 10-11 am and close at 5pm. You can shop for murano glass to your hearts content. The restaurants also are sparce in the evening. Most of the restaurants are only open for lunch. The town really shuts down at night. For us, it was quaint, quiet, safe. We enjoyed our stay
• Sam111111111111 (10/5): Great stay! - The hotel was perfect, small but quaint, a nice change from staying on the main island, with easy access to the water taxi to get to the airport or visit burano and even Venice . Clean and comfortable bed and nice large fluffy bath towels. Breakfast was wonderful, above par compared to most European breakfasts with many options such as yogurt, fresh juices and made to order cappuccino. The reception was helpful and location is so close to the water taxi stops. Great value!
• gretandaidan (10/5): Excellent value for money - My husband and I stayed for 2 nights as part of our 7 week trip around Europe. I loved this place and I can't understand the bad reviews. It's a small hotel also owned by the restaurant. Also if they pictures make you think it's worn and old it's not at all it's actually vintage styled on purpose not actually old. The air con was bliss for the hot Italian summer and we actually only used it at night because the room was cool enough naturally during the day and we were out both days. Just be aware you will need to use the waterbus to and from the main island and that a day pass is 20 euro and a one way is 7.50 euro so a bit pricey. Also at night only 2 restaurants open till 9pm on murano but plenty of choice on the main island. That being said in the evenings your away from the touristic crowd and you can have a restful sleep away from noise. The breakfast was great, the service was friendly and the room was clean. We have stayed at some awful places at double the price during our trip in Europe! The only thing I will comment on, there is no reception after 5pm and I couldn't help but notice that there is no fire alarm in the room and the fire escape is written in Italian- so a bit scary if anything was to happen!

• 325yannyt (10/5): Clean and Great Value - The room was clean and spacious (especially the bathroom). We checked-in late so there was a small issue with keys and access, but the staff has friendly helped us to sort it out even though their front desk is not 24/7. The breakfast is okay. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here(/Murano) if you are visiting Venice for a few days (and buy the waterbus pass) to stay away from the busy main island.
• kevinadele2017 (10/5): great value - Spent 5 nights here last week and cannot fault it. Staff helpful, room (superior grade) large and with a great view. 10 minutes boat ride from Venice. So you can avoid all the crowds at night but still take in all the sights. Doesn't do food at night but the lunch time meals were good, simple food washed down with the house wine

• Olive (10/5): Hotel al soffiador - Elvio was an amazing host, quiet, unassuming gentleman. I highly recommend this hotel. Wonderful. A good breakfast.
• Vladimir (8/5): Pleasantly surprised. - Lovely little hotel in a nice part of Murano. Super nice owner. Only 10 minutes by boat from Venice. Other than the mattresses and slow WiFi - everything was perfect. Grazie ))
• anabidzic (8/5): Great deal - Good price for what you get. Room was clean and in good condition, not so big but just enough. Staff was very nice and attentive. I recomend this small hotel for couple of nights in Venice, easy to reach the city yet away from the crowd. All in all no negative comments.
• Namelessmon (6/5): TV switch on and off itself - Overall its very old hotel. Nice and simple breakfast. The staff were very friendly. My friends stayed on the highest level(room 506 or 605 i cannot rmb), most corner room. The tv switches on and off itself in the night.
