• steve (6/5): Near the Ramblas but small room - The staff were friendly and the lobby was beautiful. The terrace was nice but with no bar it wasn't really used. The room was small for the price and the plunge pool on the terrace was so small I cant believe anyone ever uses it. Also no bar on the terrace so no one was using it

• Yevgeniy (6/5): - Positiv hervorzuheben sind die gute Lage, die Sauberkeit und das freundliche Personal. Unser Zimmer war zudem angenehm ruhig. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit drei Betten gebucht; zwei Betten waren sehr bequem, das dritte war jedoch offenbar ein Klappbett, mit einer eher unbequemen und deutlich zu kurzen Matratze. Für ein Kind wäre es vielleicht ausreichend, für einen Erwachsenen jedoch nicht geeignet. Das hätte bei der Buchung klarer kommuniziert werden müssen. Deshalb gibt es von uns hier deutlichen Punktabzug.

Cordialidade da equipe, em especial a sra loira que trabalha no restaurante do hotel (infelizmente não lembro o nome dela), sempre muito prestativa. Café muito bom. Gostaria muito de saber a cantora da playlist que toca no restaurante. Músicas maravilhosas. Foi a 3a vez que me hospedei aqui e volto, com certeza. Um pequeno detalhe...A limpeza do corredor do 4o andar. O restante tudo ok.
• Hugo (10/5): Ze tří pobytů v Barceloně, tento hotel nejlepší. - Hotel v centru Barcelony, pár kroků od hlavní třídy La Rambla, naproti Palác Guell. Každý den uklizeno, čisté ručníky. Snídaně jsme využili jen párkrát, jinak snídaně ve městě. Určitě doporučuji, příští návštěva Barcelony v tomto hotelu.

Not the Hotel but all the street construction and the uneven side walks. I only have one eye with no depth perception.

The third time we’ve stayed.. an each time we’ve scored the same awesome closeup Dali Views from our balcony. Also my partner - an artist and art teacher himself loved the extensive library of Artbooks in the sitting area adjacent to the breakfast Room. Because the building is quite old the sound insulation between the rooms isn’t great. So we were certainly aware when ‘our next door neighbours’ were having extended late night showers.

• Viola (8/5): - War vor vielen Jahren schon einmal im Gaudi Hotel. Es liegt super zentral. Super Frühstück. Das Hitel hat keine eigene Küche, so dass abends ein Lieferdienst Essen liefern würde. Momentan ist die komplette La Rambla eine Baustelle. Aber das ist nicht zu ändern. Da kann auch das Hitel nichts dafür.
• abc56 (4/5): - ベットの寝心地が良かった。 朝食のきのこの料理が美味しかった。 レセプションのスタッフの態度が残念だった。 今回サンティアゴ巡礼のための旅だったので、大きなバックパックで行った。 そのため荷物や服装に制限があった。 チェックインの時、スタッフの冷たい目線がバックパックに行き、とても気になった。長い旅行の最後のホテルだっただけに、チェックイン時からこの旅すべてが不快なものになり残念だった。 ほとんどのスタッフが冷たい感じで、ホテルスタッフの資質に疑問を感じた。 しかし唯一チェックアウト時のスタッフだけは笑顔を見せてくれたので救われた。 スペインは数回訪れ、バルセロナも何度か来ているので、ガウディについての興味はなかったが、グエル邸の屋上が見えるということで予約した。しかし期待に応えてはくれなかった。

The Palau Güell, one of the Antoni Gaudi’s masterpieces, is just opposite the road. The breakfast is quite good. The staff are friendly and helpful. • Edmund131148 (8/5): Not the view we paid for!! - The location was fantastic. A choice of 2 subway stations and La Rambla at the end of the street. The breakfast was adequate and we enjoyed the bar. We were on the first floor facing the street so wouldn't call it "city view" that we paid for. The noise from people using the street went on all night - we never worked out why it was so noisy as there were no night clubs or restaurants.

• Petra (7/5): Treba si priplatiť za lepšiu izbu. - Najväčšie výhody boli poloha a terasa na streche hotela. Hotel je na tichom mieste, no zároveň na pešiu dostupnosť skoro všade, teda všetky zaujímavé miesta. A pokiaľ nechcete chodiť peši je blízko metro. V okolí super káva, obchody atď. Ešte veľké plus, že majú svoju úschovňu batožiny zadarmo, my sme prišli skôr ako sa dalo ubytovať a odložili sme si batožinu do uzamykatelnych skriniek. Oceňujem bezpečnosť, podvečer sa dalo dostať do hotela len na kartu a taktiež výťah len na kartu. Izba celé zle. Naozaj len na prespatie, malinká, tmavá, žiadny výhľad (na schodisko), okno sa nedalo poriadne otvoriť. Bazén na streche nie je na kúpanie, keďže hĺbka je asi po kolená, na fotkách vyzerá oveľa väčší. My sme našťastie mali pekné počasie, takže sme na izbe trávili minimum času a trochu to vykompenzovala tá terasa.

• Claudia (4/5): Tolle Lage, jedoch massiver Abflussgeruch im Bad - keine Bereitschaft einer Klärung - Lage Top, Frühstück in Ordnung und bis zur letzen Nacht Zimmer (wir hatten 423 mit Dachterrasse) abgewohnt und Bad unmodern aber in Ordnung. Waren 3 Tage da. Aus dem Bad entwickelte sich ab Tag 2 starker Abflussgeruch, Übelkeit und Schwindel am nächsten Tag trotz Wasser laufen und offenen Fenster. Personal war nicht bereit sich das Problem gemeinsam anzuschauen, Management ließ sich verleugnen und Klärung nach Aufenthalt mit Management nicht erfolgreich (athmosphärischer Druck einer Küstenstadt…) . Wir waren Faulgasen ausgesetzt, uns war noch Tage übel und schwindlig!

But the worst was being woken up at 6am to workman working right outside our windows. We were not advised of this. If we had we would of asked to be moved. Told reception when leaving and basically told their doing upgrades and didn't care
